Didn't want to mark a DNF but I couldn't find anything. The guy living across the road is a bit suss on 'all these random people who keep coming up here to that spot' so whether he found it and biffed it is anyone's guess.
On a caching journey up to the north with Supernannny and Net61 to find some caches. Many kilometres were driven over a few days and many caches were found. Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements. A quick detour to find this cache as we headed south. The cache soon spotted on the approach to gz. This is a lovely road and a peaceful place for the cache. Tftc
On our drive back home to Auckland, we stopped at a few geocaches; including this one.Good quiet place for a hide. All good here, thanks...MrsJag soon made the find.
Needed a spot to eat my breakfast in peace, but the road turned into a highway. At least this one is still here.
A wee detour to find this cache! Once we identified the correct gate it was easy spotting. Did not sign as logbook soaked.
TaurusSix and I are in New Zealand for a three weeks holiday. We love New Zealand and have had lots of wonderful experiences here previously. This time we have decided to focus our attention on three destinations for one week each, all in the North Island. The Coromandel Peninsula, Waiheke Island and The Bay of Isles. We are very mindful of not focusing all our attention of the holiday on geocaching, however it will still play an important part. We are deliberately focusing on caches that involve some walking, great views, interesting attractions , history and general points of interest. And this will all happen in between exploring, swimming , walking, doing touristy things and relaxing .

Day 21 - Of our New Zealand trip and our last day here in the beautiful Bay of Isles as well as our last day in general. It is also the first day in five days that it has stopped raining and we have not needed our rain coats - bonus. Today was made up of two halves. In the morning we leisurely looked around Paihia, walked, looked in the shops and had a nice brunch. In the afternoon we headed to Kawakawa and undertook a glow work cave tour - fantastic, as well as checked out the amazing art work and architecture of Hundertwasser a follow on from our day in Whangarei. He really has been a prolific artist for the area. Along the way we collected eight stray geocaches. Bringing our total geocaches for this trip to 160 plus 100 Adventure Labs for a grand total of 260. Not sure when we will get back again New Zealand, we have loved every minute of it.

This was our sixth geocache find for the day as we circled back to Paihia. Nice stretch of country road and a good hint led to a nice quick find. There was water in the container and hence the log was wet. We dried it the best we could. Thanks for the cache Schuetze Family

A quick stop and Mr P made the find... some very dodgy people about however we did th business without drawing attention to ourselves. T4tc
Making my way back to Auckland after a lovely few days in the BOI. Such a pity as the weather was superb after a few windy days courtesy of Tropical Cyclone Cody. Have driven past this cache on numerous occasions but have either had to get somewhere or been driven by my muggle hubby. This was the perfect time to grab my cache for the day. Number 13 for the year of one per day, so need a few more to catch up!
#10,572. I was heading to Kaikohe to pick up a couple of the TMGT geotour caches. But decided to divert off the main highway to locate this egg. I parked close by but soon after a neighbour pulled up and entered their property. They didn't ask me what I was doing there which suggests they are aware of the geocache. Wandered over to GZ and soon had a quick find of the egg. Its a colourful one. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks Schuetze family for hiding it here.
To celebrate Vanessa's (Nessvab) 40th (which was during lockdown) we are trying to find 40 caches on our 40 hour adventure. Day two from Paihia.
Cache 38 of 40 - great little egg and a quick find on a country road. Everything was a little damp. TFGC

We were in Waitangi (Bay of Islands) New Zealand for the day on Holland America’s Amsterdam. We tendered into Paihia and had a rental car waiting for us there. We spent the day doing a 30-mile counterclockwise loop through beautiful farm country. By the time we returned to Paihia, we had found 20 caches. Great day!
Thank you to Schuetze family for 8 of the caches, to (bobcat105, Toastice, Russellschool, and R18=R5+R13) for 2 each, and to the other 4 COs for their efforts and for their caches.

This Cache: We checked this tree with no luck at first. Then we just had to look at the right angle to spot the cache.

Nice find with woolwood9 today.

Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!

Found! But not where it was meant to be. Have replaced it in it’s hiding spot as per the original hint, and covered for camo. Thanks !
Another stop on our way back to Whangarei. Stopped the car on the other side of the road and walked up to GZ. The cache could be seen from a distance, due to its colour and it not being fully covered. After having signed the log, we hid it a bit better.
On a road trip north, enjoying the day and pic up some caches. TFTC

General log:
Today we travel from Russell to Rawena (west coast). Not a long drive, but when geocaching it can take all day. We attempt 18 and found 17, so that's quite a good score. Thanks to all the CO's for hiding and maintaining their caches.

Boxing Day - day twelve - Kaikohe - Kerikeri with The Seagnoid and Zara. Toby staying in Kaikohe - sick again. An amazing family in Kaikohe adopted us and are going to look after Toby for the day or weeks if he cant be fixed!
Its another epic 3+ week geocaching adventure with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and Willam to the Far North. What an amazing place to explore. Lots of walks, gravel roads and sand. Lots of amazing trees, beaches and interesting POIs. Lots of kilometers traveled by vehicle and foot. Vehicle breakdowns, making new friends and catching up with old friends and family. Snagged a couple of FTF's, lots of lonely caches and the odd event along the way. Lots of cache maintenance and replaced caches on this trip. But what an incredible adventure!!. Thanks to all the CO's who have made this trip so memorable..

Day twelve of an awesome, tiring, long, three week holiday geocaching with Taybeedragon in the upper north. Boxing Day! Caching Kaikohe to Kerikeri. The whole trip comprised of hours of walking on sand, sliding down sand dunes, hundreds of kilometres of unsealed roads, car breakdowns, paddling out to islands, lighthouses, dolphins, goats, events, FTFs, weird boulders. You name it, we saw it. Lots of bisons, lots of cache maintenance, lots of sunscreen. A month is enough. I am glad to be back home. Except that now I have to write up my trip. We averaged just 20 caches per day, but that is still a lot of logging!
Merry Christmas from the Seagnoid!

Heading back home to the big wet after a few days rest & relaxation in D-Bay. Quick sidetrip from the main road to collect our daily cache. Hide quickly located and cache soon in hand. Log saturated. We have replaced it with some all weather paper. The old log was unsalvageable and has been binned. TFTC
Our third visit to this beautiful country and this time for a family wedding in Tutukaka. After that we will travel south exploring and finding some caches along the way.
Signed and replaced all of them as we found them.
Thanks to the CO's for placing these caches and keeping the game alive.
Found the egg. Log is wet.

What a beautiful totara grove. The cache is as a bit of a challenge for a shorty like me but with the help from a twig managed. TFTC
What a lovely place off the main highway!
TFTC... the hint was very helpful... not too much muggle traffic but they were friendly passerbys! Was a bit of a reach and I'm 172cm tall but only just managed to grab it.
The egg isn't a kiwi egg... BUT it now has a sheep in it heehee....
Log was wet...dried as much as I could but still able to write on the log... sorry do not have a maintenance kit with me unfortunately.

Find number 3936. I was travelling to Paihia for the Country Music Festival and caching along the way. A total of 20 before I got to my accommodation. To avoid the Auckland traffic I left home at 3.30 am so didn't start caching until a torch was not required. After breakfast in Kawakawa I had to come this way round as the main road was closed. It was raining but the tree cover gave plenty of cover. This though affected the coords so I went up and down a couple of times. Finally I read the description and then went to the right place. It is amazing how easy finds are when you have all the information. Thank you for the placement.
Awesome little find! Took two trackables one to travel around NZ and one little blue duck that wants to travel the world so off to Hawaii it goes
Found it after figuring out which tree it was. Took Coin and left another TB for next cacher.
Our first cache in this area in the rain. Nice easy find. Beware of the barbed wire when reaching up TFTC
Yep your right
The femail half off
Mile high RnC struggles to be 150
So allowiwing for the reach angle help was needed
Signed and replaced

My first cache! Found it ok but if you are short-ish like me (I’m about 165cm or 5’4) you may need to use a stick to help! Thanks for a fun find!

Driving from Kerikeri back to Matauri Bay there seems to be a loop-of-caches..... we'll face the a try and had some more smiles on the map
Cache is still there and in good order, but the logbook is a wee-wet

We were visiting North for the long weekend and thought we would dedicate some time to a spot of geocaching today. This was a quick park and grab, and soon spotted the geocache upon approach. No problems here, thanks for the hide.
Our journey today bring us from Paihia along the west coast to Auckland.
By the way we found some caches.
The cache we found quickly. What a beautifull alley. We give a FP!
Thank you for showing this place and hidding the box.
Greetings from Germany!!!

Off up north to a sporting event, so decided to try for some caches along the way.
With the good clues given, the cache was soon in hand. Very dusty surroundings though. We really need some rain up north. TFTC
