TFTC. I drove 200 miles north where you can still park the car, and there the foot path merges with the bike track. So tiny!
For some reason, a past version of myself signed up to go to a meeting tonight. Not one I need to participate in, just be present for. And that's a hard sell after a big weekend and a day at work without break. But still, being a good boy, I put on pants and drive down the highway this evening. And despite my dragging of heels, I arrive early. And with a bit of aq numbers press on my hands at the moment, I figure with a few minutes to spare, to whip out the ol' geocaching app. And what's just a two-minute drive away? Yep, another in this series that I'm always happy to find.Down the road just a little at full speed, and I manage to find a park (oddly few around despite the hour) and away from truck-servicing muggles (surprisingly many of them around despite the hour). I hope out and at the co-ordinates a few options abound. I flash my phone torch around a while. But I also get distracted. I usually notice this old onramp as I drive past at 100km/h, but have never thought to check it out from this side. Turns out, there's a fence in the way anyways. But pondering over, I flip through some logs and make the find soon after. 18:45 I have myself a new smiley and have killed an appropriate amount of time. Lovely. Thanks for this geocache, teamdfl
Thought Id stop for a quick find after work. As I was on foot it took a moment to work out how to navigate the fence. My first nano. TFTC
Started the morning with an Event followed by a collection of FTFs on the nearby bike trail. It has been a long time since our group cached together. Caching now after lunch with RoddyC and imbunda. This cache was on our target list so it was good today to have them signed and a smile added.TFTCache teamdfl
After attending the WWFM XX Come Fly with Me event at Springwood today, I am revisiting a few caches that I have DNF'ed in the past.
On my way to another cache, decided to stop and grab this one if I could find it.
Parked at the end of the fence and made my way to GZ, where, searching around both sides, I found this little nano hiding.
With name in the log, cache was returned.

I was on this side of town looking at caravans and campers. I was not having much fun so I thought; a nano on the side of the road would cheer me up. I pulled up and then looked for a suitable entry point. Really this is not doable from the road??? Then I spied something that might work and under I went, too easy. Wondered up to GZ and sure enough it was a nano, had to laugh. I signed the log, replaced all as found and retreated the same way I came in.
Thanks for the cache hide and the fun I had here today.

Needing a cache for the day, I made a slight detour to stop here…
Pulling up within metres of GZ I contemplated my options… rather than embarrass myself I moved the car to a better access point and made the walk into the cache…

& I were driving back from the GC & jumped off the M1 to grab this one & found it behind a fence separating the bike path from both roads either side of it. After a good look wiggled under the fence and found the hide quickly, great coords!
Muggle65 needed this cache to complete his 6th loop. A couple of caching friends had a good giggle at that. Usually it is a harder DT but he clearly wanted an easy finish. I was less than lady like with my retrieval but coords are spot on and we were soon in the log. Thank you so much
This evening, jesswrigley and I needed to head south to grab an errand from some shops, and we were passing close to this location. We managed to park nearby, and I found a gap in the fence to allow access into the bike path area. I really need to go for a ride and complete these *Fat Bottomed Girls* geocaches for how they were intended to be found, by bicycle!
We needed to walk around and searched for 5-7 minutes, and after reading a few past logs, the cache type was narrowed down. Eventually, we came across the sneaky hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks teamdfl for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

I think this is a cache that I have been putting off for a while as it meant something to me for a while. I had searched for this on a first date while back, before it was moved as it used to be opposite the childcare, and did not find it. It was a Monday, pre covid, and obviously had kids and staff there. Police were called and we never found it.
It was a good story for a first meeting/date and it had meant a lot for me as a story and experience. I found it today to make it a Smiley in the app and a smile in my own history of memories.
Thank you for the hide and moving it from where it was. My new account, as I no longer use my old one, appreciates it.

Put this one back how it is meant to be. Thanks to the previous finder for putting it in a sensible spot.
On way home from shops. Found it on the ground.pot it back on where we thought it was. Cheers. . Tftc
Managed to find a parking spot on this busy street. When we got to Gz we realised we are on the wrong side of the fence but luckily there was a big enough hole to fix us in a good sneaky hide for this one
Go to Pilates nearby and failed on my first attempt but success today. Nifty little cache. TFTC
Almost a year unloved along the M1!
Visiting two businesses in the area today and I made the most of it.
I walked in to this cache, not a cyclist to be seen at all.
Signed as KA
Thank you for this geocache

A quick skate down to this one along the bit of bike path I haven't travelled yet.
Got lucky with this one. My hand landed on the cache, the first place I put it.
TFTC!

Shimmied round the fence, made the quick dash to GZ. Swearah soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
After an interesting chat about the shortest way to gz, we hatched our plan the made the find. TFTC
It took us ages to find this but when we did it was really clever. This was our 2nd one of the day and still went to more nearby
In all the years I have lived here, I’ve never noticed this bikeway before Entered the bikeway from 200m out and, thankfully, there were no cyclists about as we were on foot . Appreciated this unexpected and cheeky hide, so giving this one a FP. Seal on cache is broken, although still intact.
Down this way getting my nails done yey and thought I would get this one that I have been eyeing off for a while. So today was the day, just to let owner know that the log is now completely full as i used the last space available. TFTC
We continued up to this one from the others near by but had to search for a way in which was a couple of hundred meters north of the cache. A check in a few spots before the nano was spotted. We added out initials and re hid. TFTC.
On a maintenance run today and took the service route back when we remembered that this cache was here. Good a time as any, we said, but it was better than that - quieter than during the week.
Log signed and replaced. Found at 3.15 on 1uth June 2017. TFTC, teamdfl.

That was a quick and easy find, signed the log but had difficulty replacing log. After a little gentle persuasion I finally had the log back in the cache and replaced as found. TFTC

Heading home after a few days away & we thought 'Why not grab a few caches on the way?'
All I'm saying is nice!
I managed to find the 'quick' way in! LOL ...
Great co-ords.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Out with stortigirls, doing her 25 unique D/T in a day challenge. This was our first cache for the day. We parked close to GZ, and wandered over, only to find an obstacle between us and where thought the cache would be. Not to be thwarted, a way was found to access the area we needed. A bit of wriggling and stortigirls was where she needed to be. Not long after, the cache was in in hand and the log was being signed TFTC
An epic day of caching today, trying to achieve the 25 DT challenge. Accompanied by Selva Girls who agreed to be my driver and cheer squad for the day, we cached from dawn to dusk. With a bit of sliding and twisting I was able to access gz from a nearby parking spot. The container was soon found and our names added to the log. Tftc teamdfl!
Been meaning to grab this one for a while now. So decided to grab it today after out return home. Thank you CO for placing.
Did this one today to make sure I get my souvenir for International Geocaching Day.
Loved the find. TFTC

Sneaky- initially didn't know which path to take but eventually got there! TFTC!!
Took a little time but spotted it just poking out from its hiding place. TFTC
I was cruising around the traps on four wheels today but this one seemed accessible from the service road. Once parked opposite GZ I soon realised I was wrong. Mmm, not knowing where a gate would be I looked around and spotted a good spot to go over the fence, it looks like it gets used often by the locals anyway. Back up to GZ where I eventually found the seeking bugger after a bit of a search, very clever dfl.
I signed in and replaced as found before climbing back over to the car.
Thanx again teamdfl

Out grabbing a few smilies with Geopartner.
Last one for the day.
It had been a very hot day and the heat pounded off the concrete.
Geopartner parked at an entrance and I headed off down the track.
No one around today and I can search in peace.
The cache was found easily and I signed the log and replaced where I found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks teamdfl All good with this cache

Made this one the midway point on my 6km run this afternoon. Great time of day and week as no bike rideers or cops.
Unfortunately I lucked out today. Unscrewed a few bits tgat seemed obvious but I was wrong.nothing jumped out at me. Wasn't too committed considering I had a 3 km run back and rain was starting to slowly fall. Oh no! Not my hair.
I'll have to come back for this one.

After taking some time to convince Geo-wife that we were on the wrong side of the fence, we finally worked our way around to where we needed to be.
Geo-wife spotted the little rascal in no time. Great hide.

I was visiting the nearby tile store this morning, selecting tiles for our new home. Arrived early, so I was able to jump out of the car and walk to GZ. I saw some nuts and bolt and thought a bit suspicious, turns out after undoing it all it wasn't the cache! As I was replacing I saw it peeping out at me! TFTC teamdfl

My partner Flagmarshall39 had previously found this one several months ago, so as I'm traveling with him to Brisbane today, thought I'd give this one a go. Searched for a while but no luck. OK Flagmarshall39 where is it then? He couldn't find it either, hmm, is he having a senior moment or has it been muggled?
Well I see why it's a bike path and not a foot path lol. Sneaky hide, May need a look by co as seal broken but dry. Clever. I was looking in the wrong spots then thought is it really going to be with the lizard cache guardians, opened my eyes more and spotted .... Tftc
So this morning I had some errands to do for work on the way in and well of course that makes for a rather good reason to detour a little further then normal to grab a smile. That is considering Loganholme is in the opposite direction to work
Anyway this was the one that I had wanted to target as it was close by to my destination Officeworks, yes I could have gone to Capalaba (as it is directly on the way) but hey here I am. But something looked weird as I did not pick up this cache on the map on my first look, but it seems I must have been just off a little and it was just outside the range.
But after refreshing the search, it appeared and I was soon zoning in. I managed to make the approach to the cache not to difficult even though I was coming from the road below and not the bikepath. So I wandered along to a likely spot and soon had the container in hand. Recovering the log was another thing, but a make shift tool fixed that, since I left the tweasers in the place they are most useful (at home).
With my name in the log and cache replaced, I figured there was no need to head back the way I came in, the drop was not to far so down I went. Thankfully feet first of the experience could have been rather painful. A few steps back to the car and I was on my way to the big blue box.

Didnt find and got pulled up by cops. Please be wary of this as apparently we looked suss.
Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky! It's a big spot for a little one, thank goodness the coordinates are pretty darn good here! It takes a bit of searching for sure but at least you'll feel free to look. Thanks for the cache, glad we got it, very noisy!
Ps The seal on the container is still in place but it's broken, not sure how much it will effect the waterproofing.

I needed to get out of the house today, and what better way to spend the day than a drive southside, and some leisurely caching Time to clean up all these FBG caches [^]
No problem parking here, and I found a quick way up to GZ [^] Once the numbers got to zero, I went to the first spot, and saw something rather familiar Did she.... ??? Oooooh yes she did [^] Very sneaky. TFTC, teamdfl.

Ha,I like that, worked out how to get to GZ by just stepping over guide rail, then fell for the decoy first, but was soon on to it.TFTC.
Wow the passing traffic is near deafening to an old bloke; glad I didn't try to scale the green fencing as others obviously had ( the co-ords were a little astray). Used the noggin and widened the search till the ahah! moment hit.
I didn't have an extraction tool so didn't sign the log, but have a photo if you want proof. A nice hide and one to remember. Tftc.

We were up at the Hyperdome today celebrating our daughters 18th birthday at Sizzlers.
We enjoyed a great lunch and time with friends and then the girls wanted to go shopping!!!
Well that was my invitation to head on out and grab this one near by!!!
I got close to GZ and then realised that my approach would be hard and probably dangerous so I altered my position and found a safe access to the area.
It wasn't that far to walk back and it was a pleasant day so it was enjoyable.
At GZ I checked a few possible locations and then I spotted something which drew my attention!
On checking it out it proved to reveal nothing but then my eyes were drawn to something very similar and upon investigation something moved!!!!!
30 seconds later after a bit of extraction I had the cache in hand!!
This was our first Traditional cache for the month so was truely fitting for the cache to get the "Explorer Souvenir"
Thanks Team DFL TFTC SL And a favourite point coming your way!!!

The 5th find for the day.
After my success at finding 4 in the series I decided that I was on a roll and headed to this one.
I drove past and determined that I would have a bit of a stroll to get it from either end and picked one and took off.
Not a cyclist in sight and such a wide path. I arrived and started searching and spotted a likely spot but it was clean then I spotted another similar spot and that is where the cache was. I struggled to remove the log but eventually I got it loose and gladly put my name on it and replace it where it was.

The notifications came through while I was at work.
No chance of the first to find but I needed a cache find for today.
So I headed to this one after work.
Parked the car about as close as you can get but had to walk up the road a little to gain access to GZ.
Set the phone to work to navigate me to the exact GZ ... So I started looking while the phone was doing its thing. O look a cache. Well that was easy ... or very lucky.
Thanks for the cache.
