Since this cache appears to be gone it will probably have to be archived since the CO has been inactive for well over a year. I've been waiting for a confirmed find before revisiting and the odds of that look pretty low.
A not so eay drive by I needed a phone call to another cachers here! I climbed all around the roack thinking it had to be on the non road side of the rock . at least i got that right. I was checking on caches that i had not visited or had not logged and discovered a small group of caches that i had or Did Not Find and which had not been logged so these are rather late logs. I drove around behind the main road and around the coast line on this port road. I had previously found a couple on port road but needed to complete this coastal route and locate the caches along here.
Thanks for the cache and another smiley face.

Didn't find after a few mins of searching, pretty sure we were in the night spot as the bottom of the tree looks like a perfect cache hiding spot. Unless it's well and truely in the base then I think it may have been muggled, especially seeing the people before me couldn't find it either. Would recommend a check up. We'll come back another day and have a good look when there's less people around as it's an awesome place for a cache. Let's hope the trackable hasn't been muggle too. Looking forward to eventually finding this one
In training for the Abel Tasman later this year, so popped over to Wainui for a hike with a muggle friend. Our route took us through Gracefield, across to Point Howard, and then over the hill back to Wainui, stopping for the occasional along the way. A satisfying day out! TFTC unfortunately, I didn't see the trackable.
Waiting to pick up one of 'the four' from the bus stop - grabbed the opportunity to look for this one. Nice easy find. TFTC.
Thanks for a fun find. Nice to be searching for caches today not Pokemon as the world goes Pokemon crazy.
It's pouring with rain so I'm looking for a quick park-and-grab to keep the streak going. I drew a blank on a couple of city mystery caches so this was the next nearest that I could get to without getting soaked. No view because of the rain - just glad to be on my way home! Thanks for the cache
Down this way for a walk and thought I'd try for this one. An oil tanker was berthing which made for interesting viewing. I'd looked for this cache in the past to no avail but this time I was in luck. Signed log and restashed as found.

Spent a very pleasant morning out and about searching for geocaches with my daughter Megan. This was our seventh stop for the day. This one was pretty much where I thought it would be.
What a lovely morning in Lowry Bay, and with very pleasant company too!
Thank you

A gorgeous day, sat looking out at the bay and all the swimmers after finding the cache. We'd found another at this location previously so it was fun to be back. Tftc
Nice little pull in area here, quick find for us. Log book only slightly damp all good to sign. Tftc
First cache since having a baby YAHOOOO!! Just moved up from CHCH looking forward to seeing the local cache scene. TFTC
Greetings from an Auckland cacher here on holiday to see my family.
Was out in Days Bay seeing some friends and decided to do a few cachers on the way back home.
Was a quick find and also left a TB.

All quiet at GZ as the light rain started. Cache a little exposed so covered it. TFTC
#2108 Perfect evening for a bike ride to unwind for the week and collect a cache while out and about. Great hide and a magic spot on an evening like this one. TFTC!
Beautiful still morning here today. Totally different from yesterday's freezing southerly. Great cache location. TFTC
Looked and looked and then it suddenly appeared! What a great spot. Pity you can't get a coffee here!
Great spot for a cache, unfortunately also a popular spot for people 'parking up'! TFTC, left a coin from Vanuatu
#1082. Always admired these rock outcrops and small bush patches off the side of the road when we have driven around the bays. So was pleased to have a reason today to stop and look for a cache. Should have been an easy find as the hint didn't leave too many places to search and the description provided further guidance. But poor looking meant I searched a much wider area than necessary looking at objects beyond the hint. Finally back and checked the first place again a lot more carefully and bingo, there was the cache. Logbook was dry. All I can say is believe the hint. TFTC
Good description great info about area. Never would have stopped otherwise. Thanks!! Found with lord Swansea
Only one fisherman on the wharf and one car in the carpark on a cold Friday afternoon. Not having to hide from muggles made this an easy find. TFTC.
Had tried this one a year or so ago but no luck- a few folk around then. Back this evening. Found after a bit of a search- well tucked away. Just as we finished writing in the log there was a strange noise- thought it was wind through the nearby light pole. Wandered over to look at the sea and got a bit startled by strange noises from under the rocks we were standing on. Some disgruntled penguins annoyed at being woken by inconsiderate caches at night! TFTC.
Have tried for this a couple of times before but foiled by muggles. This time, it was not too busy and we were able to retrieve the well tucked away cache, not before startling a couple of cheeky mice in the vicinity. They scuttled off to a chink in the rock and then proceeded to peer out at us! TFTC
Almost time to give it away as the rain is trying to fall although the wind is tending to keep it horizontal at this spot. Despite the conditions there were a few people fishing.
Coords took me to within cooee and of the cache where a short search found the cache. Signed and back in the car before the rain came down proper. Thanks for the placement.

Last time I was out this way the cache was missing so good to return and quickly track down. Thanks for the cache.
A quick find just after dark but still a lot of activity around here.
A great spot. Tftc.

#102 Second cache for the day showing Nana BANA! how it all works. A bit tricky this one with a group of fishing muggles and another parked in a car nearby..but got it sorted. Just need find somewhere we can offload poor Lil Ted! TFTC
Thought I could squeeze in one last cache before heading back to the Hutt Rec to collect the other half and no.2 son from the footy. No problems in the find but then had to spend some time looking at the view while a muggle moved on before returning. TFTC
(PS, made it back in time and managed a carpark right outside the gate )

I'm sure I have found a cache here before, found with Redants while out letting Xmas dinner settle. TFTC.
Nice had to wait for muggles to leave. But patience paid off with a quick find was exposed so covered up better. I spent many happy hours as a kid climbing all over this rock doesn't seem so daunting anymore haha. Thanks for the memories
