The event is now well and truly over and by the logs it looks like everyone that attended enjoyed themselves which was the whole idea and fantastic to hear [^]
Who knows what may eventuate in the future in regards to similar events but as for now it's time to say goodbye.
Thanks everyone for coming to play with us

Thanks everyone for coming to play with us
To each and everyone of you than joined us here in Yack for the event, thanks for coming!!
The weather wasn't that great to say the least which was a pity seeing we had such nice weather leading up to and after the event but it was great to see everyone still smiling and enjoying themselves
We didn't manage to get everyone into the group photo which is fine because most people were out enjoying themselves caching, and that's what it's all about.
One of our caching buddies lost a bag of used stamps - Did anyone see these or pick them up?? They have been collected over a period of time to send to the mission, so if anyone knows of their where-abouts could you please let us know.
There are some trackables that have been logged into the event and we did not see any of them, so if you happened to see them or picked them up can you please log them out.
To all the organisers that helped this event come to reality THANK YOU EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!
Hope to see you all out in the field somewhere in the future [^]

Arrived after driving all the way from Melb in the rain, and was greeted by a few extra showers on arrival. Think I may have towed them up behind me, but Corrinne assured me she had the weather in hand, and so it proved to be.
A fantastic event, again, and great to catch up with friends, and make some new ones enjoying these astounding array of caches provided in this , my favorite part of this state.
Thanks again to all involved, from the thoughtfulness in arranging not only the goodie-bags, but through to the generous chauffuers taking us along these 4wd tracks to gain these quality caches up here.
The accom was astounding, the hall and the open fire made for warm happy evenings discussing everything caching.
Thanks Coruze, Skullracing, Kiara???, TruBlu, Bob's team, and anyone else involved in the 100's of hours of work to make this another memorable event. Apologies if I've forgotten to mention you, but my thoughts are with you all.
Thanks and cheers Phil, BogongHazy

We had an absolute ball for the camp and cache event.
After a rather cold and wet start, it was all up hill from there. We managed to find several new caches for the weekend as well as a few we had been meaning to get to for some time. The mystery 101 workshop was great and i'm sure we learnt a few skills that we will put to good use at some stage. On Sunday we did the 4x4 where-i-go, which was not only a highlight for the weekend, but possibly one of my favorite days out caching. At the end of it all we had met some great people and had a terrific time in all.

Well where do we start... Had a ball and as someone who helped organize this i might be biased. I met alot of great people and even had the pleasure of doing the 4x4 wherigo tours for people with out 4x4's. I also enjoyed a late night run out to the movie madness series with cybergran V, bogonhazy and sole de lune which was a blast. We met so many amaizing people but special mention to Muggle Hubby for driving the Xtrail everywhere it wasnt supposed to go and still showing us up lol and Papa Grouch who has a little bit of dry humour about him which i enjoyed as i like to heckle the crap out of them .
The whole weekend was very successful and I hope everyone had as much fun as we did and we would like to thank everyone involved and all who helped and attended.
A big thank you to Coruze (camp and cache)and TrooBloo (4x4 wherigo)for doing all this as it was a great weekend

Once upon a time, there was an event....... . We looked forward very much to partaking in this camping and caching event once again as we very much enjoyed the first instalment. Here we were again, several years later and at the same venue but not quite sure what the weather would do. Regardless we arrived on Friday evening and pitched the tent, the GeoPrincess was otherwise engaged and wouldn't be joining us till the following afternoon. Only one other team joined us for that evening and the rain stayed at bay. The following day was when we were joined by many teams and the rain came.....fortunately the fantastic venue provided a place to sit and talk in comfort, have a hot drink (complimentary of course ) and keep high and dry.
Fortunately we were able to assist some teams by offering a ride on the 4x4 Wherigo - on both days the weather was brilliant as was the company. Meanwhile back at camp Ang made several batches of the BEST scones - all that were lucky enough to try one would totally agree - nice work . After a hard day of socialising we retired to the rec hall as the weather was not really conducive to a bonfire - the open fire certainly didn't disappoint. Sunday was another enjoyable day although we had to leave that night - we still had work and school the next day.
It has taken a while to log, our apologies. Our thanks to Coruze first and foremost for the event, once again an enjoyable and memorable one. To Ang for making those amazing scones, to "the helpers" who assisted with so much to make it run smoothly including Kiara001, vk3qs&cc, lostwanderers. Finally a big thank you to all the attendees for making it an enjoyable time. We had a blast. Cheers [^]

Headed down from Canberra for the 2nd instalment of this event.....and I had such a great time that I hope the event can be held every 2 years or so....
Arrived at 10.00am on Saturday, along with the rain, after a couple days in the area caching. Thought the weather may play havoc with the plans, however it cleared up and things were looking good. Teamed up with vk3gs&cc for the Where-I-Go and had a fantastic 5 hours out in the hills with some interesting 4 wheel driving.
Lots of caches were found over the 2 days, and along with new friends made, the nights standing around the fire in the rec hall were great for time for all to tell their individual war stories.
Thanks to all concern...especially Coruze for all the effort with most of the new caches. Obviously wouldn't have happened without all the hours you put in. Favourite point if it was allowed.
Hope it can all go ahead again in a couple of years. On a personal note.......my 100th event.

Attended for a short time in the company of baby&Mrs gopher our sister and brother-in-law on the run to a minor milestone of 1,500 finds on our Melbourne Cup long weekend R & R at The Rock including a run down to the Camp & Cache Event.
Loved the whole area with its rolling hills and timbered landscape.
Only attended for an hour or so as the weekend was built around visiting the relatives in The Rock
Fabulous facilities and location
Our thanks to Coruze for organizing the event and bringing us to this location.

Found by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Team Ladava at 1330 on a drive to Yackandandah. When we arrived there wasn't much activity out the front. we all went for a stroll and saw movement out back. Greeted by some familiar faces and invited in to the hall had a yarn told some lies and it was just great to see more familiar faces. With Team Ladava we made the trip to bring up their 1500th find. looks like you all enjoyed each others company. We will be here next time.
SL Tnx to all who have made the commitment for this event.

[:(!] Its a pity that we could not make a full weekend of it as we have just moved back and family commitments had intervened, but we managed to call in for half an hour or so to be able to sign the log book.
I like it

We are having an absolute ball at this event despite the downpour as we were arriving and the cold but we were met with a very warm welcome. Thanks guys for putting this event on. Great times meeting new people and catching up with familiar faces also. We will turn this into an attended log when the event is over as if I do it now I'll lose my spot on the map and probably end up getting lost.
Thank you all once again.
Thank you all once again.

After a night camping at Thredbo Diggings and a check of the weather, Day1976 and I decided it was probably not a great Idea to walk to the top of Kosiciuszko today as it was already raining a little and the BOM forecast was for snow, winds and rain on the summit. So, we bailed and gradually headed for the Camp and Cache event in Yakandandah, picking up a few caches along the way.
Finally arrived at the event after a bit of a drive from Thredbo. Had a great couple of days here finding some unique and interesting caches, the highlight being the FOUR-wheel-IGO. Location was a perfect place with something for everyone. Met lots of great people too.
Thanks to Coruze and Friends for running such an awesome event.

Thanks so much for running this event - we have only attended about 10 in our short time span as Geocachers but it was definitely the best yet. The amount of detail you went to in arranging fun caches for us to do, providing assistance with four wheel drive coaching, encouraging us to extend our range by showing us new areas to search, the puzzle fun around the fire of a night time, the comradeship was phenomenal, even to the preparation of little show bags. There was no detail spared in the effort to make sure that everyone had a fabulous time. We loved the FOUR- Wheel- IGO, taking a route I never expected our vehicle to be able to access, following it up the next morning with the Hu Dun It ? where we joined forces with Bogonghazy and SoldeLune, then tackled the MOB Cache (thanks Bogonghazy for your ladder and tree climbing expertise, and in the afternoon again in such exalted company, did the Movie Mayhem and assorted other caches in the vicinity. However we were one figure out on the Murder Mayhem Final and, after tea that night, Jason kindly drove us out once more into the forest amid the kangaroos and rabbits and left us in the vicinity to find the excellent cache, before driving us back to the camp, via several other caches en route. At no other event I have been to have I seen so much assistance given to beginners, and the opportunity to mix with everyone. The help also given with puzzle solving shone a new light in lots of different directions for me. Many of my unsolved caches have me now dusting them off and giving them a second look. Also it was super to pick up some extra caches along the Wherigo route, places we would not have considered being able to reach in our vehicle, prior to that adventure. You have opened many doors and new areas for us to explore and we are deeply indebted to your generosity in sharing your expertise. Now I am working on the Fruits of the Forest puzzles for our next visit to Yackandandah. Your friendship draws us back, we will definitely return. Sorry for the late log, I have had limited internet since returning from your event.
Half of the team arrived Friday night to set up camp and stay while their mum arrived the following morning to a bustling camp with plenty of people. We meet lots of new caching teams and enjoyed the mystery 101 session and SCONES!!! Yummm. 2 new cache types we tried as well made the weekend great. We would like to give a big thank you to the organizers and all the hours that was involved in making the weekend a huge success.
Attended with DazRascal and the Geokids on the Saturday after a change of plans for the weekend meant we could pop on out.
Caught up with a few friendly locals amongst our travels, grabbed a new cache or two in the area, not to mention a nice D/T stat for some that I'm sure would fill a nice hole in the grid for minimal work
Many thanks Coruze (&co) for the event and the Ez boys goodie bags & lucky dips, they thought that was great.
Cheers.

I was only able to attend Saturday afternoon just in time for the informative Mystery 101 session and have fun catching up with a few cachers.
Thanks for the Event.

Our first Camp & Cache and we had an absolute ball! Thanks to Coruze for allowing us to stay the extra night and a huge thanks to all the organisers for the time and effort they put in to this weekend. Everyone was so friendly and generous with their time and expertise. We especially enjoyed the 4x4 Wherigo and chatting with other cachers in the hall at night. If another is organised . . . we'll be back!
Attended this great event. It was so good to attend a well organised event. I had a ball getting all the 4wd caches which I normally would not get on my own. I enjoyed all the parts of this event -the mystery workshop, the 4wd adventure, the great caches in town and all the new cache types.
Thanks for organising the event Coruze et al.

Arrived with the rain to a friendly greeting and a hot cup of coffee Was only able to stay for a little while due to other commitments, but was lovely to see a few familiar faces and quickly catch up. Thanks for our goodie bag and for all the effort that went into organising this event, sorry we could not stay longer.
Find Number 617, found at 10:29.
We travelled to Wodonga to visit our daughter and grandson for Halloween. Geodaughter EmnJared suggested we attend this event. I'm so glad we did. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The weather looked most disappointing at first but cleared up and I'm sure all who stayed would have had a great time. Unfortunately we had to head off early. maybe we will be here for the next one.
I have since heard that we won a raffle prize, so we have an even better memory of the day.
Thanks Coruze and all the other organisers for the event.

The plans for this weekend changed so so many times. Originally I wasn't going to make it, then I was, then I wasn't. In the end it looked likely that I wasn't. I had my 1000th cache find coming up and I had set my heart on it being the traditional at the top of Kosciuszko, but bad weather put that plan to bed and so ahomburg and I cached our way across to this event. My number 1000 ended up being a film cannister in a park on the side of the road.
Anyway, I was glad to get to this event, and what a great event! New puzzles and trads everywhere, a mob cache and a nice little seminar on puzzle solving. The 4WD whereigo has got to be the highlight though, for me. Awesome adventure and thanks to all those involved in putting on a great event. A really outstanding job that helps raise the bar for event caches. Well done, if I could award a favourite, I would.

We had a fantastic time at this well put together event, and got to meet some new people and put faces to names. We timed it perfectly with the weather as we just got our tent up, went out for a drive to locate the letterbox cache and it started to hail! But by the time we got back to camp the weather had cleared again and was fine for the rest of our stay. If only we could have stayed two days... We really enjoyed the workshop and it opened up a lot of new doors for our Mystery solving. Many thanks to the organisers for the goodie bag and all the work you put into making this a successful weekend! TFTE

Arrived with the Ez clan to find not too many people about due to everyone on the Wherigo drive.
Other commitments over the weekend meant I couldn't stay for the camping part of it but at least make it out to this one for a short time.
Looks like a fair bit of organisation went in to the weekend, no doubt everyone would have enjoyed themselves.
Cheers.

Made our way to the location, after finding a couple caches along the way. Turns out, this is our 1300th cache. Was exciting to see all the work that Coruze and others have put into this event come to fruition. Was glad to enjoy a drier afternoon after the downpour this morning. Left just before the hail hit. Hope you guys stay warm and dry over the weekend. Enjoy the nice warm fire out of the wind.
Had a great day today caching with friends. 3 ftfs and some good story swapping and laughs.
looking forward to another fun day tomorrow!
Thanks to all those involved for organising a great fun weekend in the local area (for me)

Having a great time in a beautiful part of the country. Many thanks to the organisers for the event.
Attended with PapaGrouch, had a great time meeting other cachers and 4 wheel driving. Picked up a few caches too.
A great weekend was had by my wife and myself, I had an excellent hunt with the "where I go app" FOUR-wheel-IGO driving, the first time 4 wheel driving too. it was a 5 hour trip with all the fafing about.
I had a chance to catch up with lots of people and met lots of new people. I froze during the night until I got rapt up like a sausage.

Raining when arrived but cleared, for the 4WD event, had a great day wish I could've stayed longer but have to work on Sunday. So thanks to all who organised the day and for the effort that went into setting up 4WD event.
What a great event theme, sadly I could only make the day trip but hopefully next time (if there is one) I will bring the van along for the weekend.
Thanks for everyone's hard work, it is much appreciated.
Thanks for the cache Coruze

Thanks for the great weekend. The friendly greeting and goody bags were a lovely start to a great day four wheel driving and finding caches!
Arrived during a downpour to a warm welcome Thanks for organising this weekend Coruze
Arrived before the time I thought I needed to be here, but was a bit late it seems. Then got on to make some sweets for the night - it was raining, so I wasn't keen on pitching the tent at that stage.
While I have met a couple of cachers I met elsewhere it is great to make new caching friends.
By the afternoon after the 4wd Wherigo the sun had come out, but it is rather cool.

Hi everyone,
All systems full speed ahead!
A few things we need to let you all know.
1. The venue decided to chlorinate the water and it is deemed unsafe for drinking. We have managed to get some water for drinking however if you can be mindful of this and even bring your own water that would be great. There are signs up stating that the water must be boiled prior to use, so please be mindful of this.
2. Please arrive at the main building you will see the Camp and Cache sign which is where registration will take place and you will be notified of where your accommodation area is.
3. If possible please bring the exact cash for payment of your accommodation.
Look forward to meeting you all tomorrow

Hoping to grab a seat for the whereigo too.
Might struggle to make the 10.30 deadline as I'll be leaving Melb approx 7.30 after work, but will do my best.

I thought we had booked in already, but seems not. It'll only be two of us now, so that'll free up another seat in a geo4wd. Only there Saturday, so no campsite required. Look forward to seeing one & all.
Planning to attend this event. Please could I book in for 2 nights in a dorm room. I hope I could jump in and join a 4wd for the whereigo event as my little 2wd would not cope!
Was working on the weekend but could only swap Saturday, so will be there all day, I hope to do the night cache as well as the puzzle info session. Also would like to take up the generous offer with the Wherigo event.
Not long now
We have some of our organisers available to take those who wish to compete the Wherigo and don't have the means (car or experience) to do so. If you would like to take up this generous offer please let us know at the time of registering.
You may have noticed that Coruze had disabled all her caches, these will be re-enabled by this evening to allow for those wishing to do pocket queries for the area.

We have the use of a campervan for the weekend and are wondering if there are ant sites left? Please advise if there are and I will cancel our motel booking
Circumstances have changed, and I'm very disappointed that I now can't attend this event. Please pass on the powered site that bogonghazy requested for us, to someone than can make good use of it. Many thanks.
Hope to be there but probably only for the Saturday (departing late afternoon after the mystery workshop).
PapaGrouch and I will only be camping for one night but will be around for two days, we will need to leave Sunday evening as he has to work the next day.
I thought I had replied to this when it first was published but just checked to confirm and mustn't have done. Muggle Hubby and I will both be attending and will not require accommodation. I will be attending the puzzle solving session as I need all the help I can get with some of those.
Thanks for hosting an event in this area

Sorry about this but Im going to have to back out. Some recent events have meant I need to stay local. Sorry again and hope that it goes well
If able to stay with a camper trailer, no power needed and 2 adults and 2 kids. Thanks.
Confirming I will be attending and just need a camp site for a swag.
See you there....

****IMPORTANT****
This event has been archived by a reviewer due to not being within the new regulations concerning sequences of events.
No event can be published along side of another event.
Due to this we have made a note on our cache page to advise that the workshop (event) will go ahead at 4.30 to 6pm on the Saturday evening at the camp venue.
No changes have been made to the content at all - It's just not able to be a separate event anymore. Hope you all understand and we still look forward to seeing you all

Have decided to attend even though I can only stay one night. I was unable to get time off so only have the regular weekend.
Had a look at the local caches and found one that gave me enough of a reason to drive all that way!
Please book me in for a dorm bed. Thank you

Sorry Corinne, would love to attend but it's getting too close to our busy season and I have staff already booked away for leave.
We quite enjoyed the last Yack camping event and hope to get back over that way after the silly season dies off a bit.

I will try and make it for one day (Sunday) as I will be in the area visiting friends.
Hopefully with x 20 cachers watching this there will be some 'locals' who can team up with Coruze and the Lost Wanderers to organise a CITO for that weekend, as I have had VERY POSITIVE responses from the local Indigo Council and the VLAA.
We have registered for this event but unfortunately now have to withdraw due to personal reasons. This will free up a non-powered caravan site for someone else. We regret this action and will try to get to the event for a one day trip if possible. We wish the organisers all the best for this event and I know every one who attends will have a great time. Nodalot.
baby&Mrs gopher say g'day to the organizers.
Anne and I have to withdraw from the camp sight register as owing to a family event on the same weekend we will only be able to hopefully attend on one (1) day only. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have been created.

Have put a roster request in for a morning shift on the Friday. Hopefully that will happen.

We would love to attend this event if we can get beds in the bunk accomodation. 2 senior cits 1 with sleep apnea machine.
Just letting you know formally that we will be attending. A powered tent sight would be great please.
SciFiRulz and PapaGrouch will be attending, could we please have a powered site, needed for health reasons.
NO POWERED SITES LEFT. If you NEED a site for children or health reasons please email your request. THANK YOU
Just formalising our attendance, very much looking forward to a fun weekend. We three will be camping unpowered
Please note that for the people who have requested a powered site that do not have young children or health issues (as per guidelines stated) we cannot guarantee that these requests can be confirmed until closer to the date. We hope you can understand and accept these rules. You will all be placed on a list in order of your request after any spaces are provided to those in need first.
Hoping to attend, but it will depend on university. Will give an exact answer closer to the event
Can we book an unpowered caravan camper site for both nights. Looking forward to it - sounds awesome!
Love to be there but it clashes with the spring racing carnival (work) which I have already promised to do
1 x Adult attending along with Bogonghazy. Looking forward to it. Many thanks for organising this.
