No Apple Lumps for us today, even after going well in where our GPS was pointing.
Had a quick look but too many muggles going past to make it worth looking for a longer time.
2nd DNF today
I have an idea what I should be looking for, even saw something that sort of fit, but no luck today.

I have found some of the 5+A day caches in the past and remember enjoying the containers. Unfortunately even though I extended my search I couldn't see anything that shouldn't have been there. Hopefully the next cache will have more success than I.
First we did not find the cach but after finding the other on the road we understood the clue of 5+ and found it. I am glad I was with a Kiwi to understand the name's hint . Great idea and nice container!
Clever name i doesn't realise until after found the cache. Duh! Nice quick park and grab. Tftc.
Found as per the hint. Log is dry. Started the day with a find. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Another one of the series to tick off. Another great use of container. Tftc and thanks for the series.
In Christchurch on a work visit. I had a bit of spare time to myself today so headed off to find some caches. Not sure what happened last time I was here but I couldn't find it then. Today it was jumping up and down saying here I am!! TFTC, Biggles.
We had had a couple of DNFs in the Rolleston area on our last caching raid, so this afternoon we returned to hopefully turn some into , and also to look for some more in both the Crusader and AB series.
Didn't take long to track down the cute wee container. Getting the log book out was another matter, but with tweezers, SW did the deed. We were just about to replace the cache when a car slowed down and then did a U-turn. Nice to meet the cameronz on their mission to reach 1,000 - good luck guys. TFTC.

#13446. Troodles got stuck in and found this one (then found it again for the cameronz; always good to meet geocachers on the field). Nice container. TFTC.
Quick stop here on our 2 hour local caching mission with my 11 year old. Easy find. TFTC
A bit of a lemon out here on a day like today but oh well all in the name of caching tftc
Nice cache. The bison had come off the "lid" so was a bit of a challenge to get it out. Tweezers to the rescue! My favourite fruit. Tftc
A quick find and if it is the same cache that I tried to find last year I can't believe that I couldn't find it then.
Last attempt to get this one had work men in the area, so had to pass by. This time out for a quiet Sunday drive and found with ease. TFTC.
This weekend saw us travel down to Christchurch from Auckland to tackle some caches towards our GIO Licence Challenge on Rangitoto Island. We needed to find 125 caches at least 500km from home, which also consisted of at least 50 different owners. Some cheap flights made Christchurch seem like the perfect opportunity to fulfil these requirements. It was a jam packed caching filled weekend, and a bit of a whirlwind visit, but we got to see some cool things during this time. Day two of this weekend was all about getting the number of finds up.
Figured out pretty quickly what we were looking for here. Thanks for the hide.

Out on a run to Ashburton with KCN for the Waitangi Day event - we ended up with 17 smilies for the day.
KCN wet one direction and went the other - and it wasn't me who found the container.
4th serving today.

Was a little exposed so covered a little more when returned after signing the log. RuruNZ headed in the wrong direction so don't know what her phone was telling her, but gps was almost spot on.
Great container, sitting nicely waiting for the next finder! The inner container with the log was close to impossible to fish out, mainly due to the large number of pieces of paper that people stuffed in with their logs when they could not remove the proper log methinks... TFTC!!
Tropical! Loved this series while filling in time wandering back to Christchurch airport. Thanks for the cache!
I was starting to get withdrawal symptoms from from not doing a lot of caches in a day. The previous 8 days I had only found 15 caches. A sad state of affairs. Time to remedy it.
Cheers for the cache.

Dropped my daughter off at St John Cadets it was time to venture forth to score some caches. Added a new log to the container ..signed the log. Thanks for bringing me here to this place, TFTC BBear44, from Mr Cuddly Brick, 9 November 2015 19:06, cache number #1039!
Obviously the extra dose of vitamin C at the last cache helped as this one was quickly found. I now need to return home to finish my outfit for my work Cup Day Hawaiian outfit that features a hot pink bikini top featuring this fruit. TFTC BBear44
A nice quick find on the way to the Husky day out today with our geo Huskies. The log container has become un glued and had fallen inside making it difficult to retrieve. TFTC
A quick park and grab on way home from the mega in Christchurch. It has been an awesome weekend away to my first mega. TFTC ☺
Day 5 of the Awesome Mega Adventure and Guwapo, Mama and Papa have joined the DCC crew for a days caching. Salamat!
Final morning our caching with the DCC group before heading back to Dunedin. Loved driving and grabbing these ones.
Not Apple lumps indeed. The log is completely full. Time for this cache to receive some owner maintenance. TFTC
Finding a few extra caches after the NZ Mega. Found with the Dunedin Caching Crew (DCC2)
Traveling home fom Mega. Taking the long way. Day 4. CACHING with DCC 2, Dunedin caching crew. TFTC!
Found as part of the Dunedin Caching Crew2, (DCC2).

Found during the Mega weekend on bit of a tiki-tour around the Canterbury back blocks. Great weather, great caches, great fun! Thanks to all the cache owners for putting out and maintaining caches for us to find. All in all, a fun road trip with Boxhill and Yeetrees, we signed many of the logsheets as YGB to save both time and logsheet spaces.

In town for a “Mega” weekend of caching. I joined up with Yeetrees and gonefishing to form Team YGB. I really enjoyed exploring the country roads of Canterbury. We travelled a fair few Kilometres in the 4 days we were here, and had a great time, with a lot of laughs along the way. Good weather, and good company. It doesn’t get much better than that does it.
Sunday. Day Three, Area 3. And we're off to an area that I dubbed “South of the River” when I was planning things. A nice sunny day but with a cool breeze, the promised afternoon showers didn’t eventuate either.
Thanks to all the CO’s for all the caches we found. Cheers and TFTC

We thought we found all 5+ a day - today we had the required intake of goddies and the cache as well. TFTC
A straight drive in the cold sun shine to take our find totals into double figures - achieved -Thanks.
Took a little while to spot. Still if they were all too easy caching would get rather monotonous. TFTC .
Great parkering, and all quiet at GZ today.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

A quick find on my way back to Christchurch via the back road. I like the containers used in the series. TFTC
6976. Out Rolleston way on a fine winter's day. Managed thirteen finds today. This was the fifth one, and a nice easy one. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
Working in the Area with my good friend Geco72 so thought it was time to grab a few caches. TFTC
An hour to "waste" after work finished, before a work dinner so Mr Casserly used it productively to grab a few more caches in the area...A quick search and we found the cache...cool containers. TFTC
Enjoyed this series a lot last year when we were over visiting Mr F's Dad. Off today to collect a puzzle I've solved so couldn't resist stopping for this en route. Hope you can find some more fruit containers for next year!
