Definitely the hardest terrain to GZ so far but manageable. Cache is slightly sun damaged and cracked. But log is still okay. TFTC
Chasing a few urban caches on cloudy and showery day.
I come into the Federation only to find Seven to complete my Alphanumeric challenge.
Tougher one to get. Found a geo tunnel to get to GZ.
Granett, I found Data today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Not going to lie, without a buggered neck... this puppy would have been hard work to get too.
A cache is a cache and we are glad to get this smile

Surprised that so many people have persevered this bush to get here. But if the CO is tough enough to place and maintain a cache in this spot, then it should be visited
Out and about on a Sunday caching run, enjoying the sunny, cool weather.
What a horrible GZ. Had to crawl in, and it was in a non descript location, so it took some time to find too. Cheers Granett!

Very overgrown here, I'd say the terrain is up a bit from 3 maybe? I sent geoson in as tribute lol. All good though. Tftc.
A beautiful day for a stroll spoilt. I battled my way in from the Guilan cache through thick undergrowth. This is my 35th find for the day and my least favourite, I am tired and not happy. Arriving near GZ I couldn’t get my GPS to register anything less than 8 metres due to the tree cover. I wanted to go home. All that kept me going was the certain knowledge that I will never ever return to this particular location again for the rest of my life. I eventually found the cache which is in good order.
Found very quickly by geokid A. Such a beautiful Spring day today we decided to visit this spot to find some caches. Had to walk through some very dense bush to get to this one. Tnln tftc
Out and about with Scjaz and geokids doing this series as the weather is beautiful. Thanks for the cache
I was absolutely soaked by the time I got here. My socks and shoes were squelching, jeans heavy with litres of water and even my hair was wet after fighting nature for 200m. The final few meters meant adding dirty knees to the list. I think my day is over now. TFTC
Well we decided to tackle some caches in an unknown territory today and all were found in great condition with spot on coordinates.... only might have to discuss the D rating on a few with my friend Granett, lol.
Great series and highly recommend, TFTC Granett, TNSL and left some swag.

We battled our was from "LaForge" cache taking a lot of twists and turns to get here. By the time we got here we could have written the log in blood. Nothing that wont heal of course and all part of the adventure.
We replaced the log book and placed it in a new zip lock bag. All set for winter....

I’m not usually one for swearing but there were a few choice words coming from my mouth heading both into and out from this cache.
Greetings from Northern Ireland. Logged all but three of this series in April 2017 before I ran out of time. Back in WA so 3 to get. TFTC
I've had my eye on this series for quite some time, and some annual leave over Easter provided the perfect opportunity to get over here and visit the 'Federation' Yesterday I came over to pick up the Big Bang series so while here I took a quick look around in this part of the park to get an idea what to expect. Today I am back and fully prepared! The weather was slightly cooler but dry and perfect for a decent hike around through the bush. In the end it took me around 5 hours to complete the whole series, with those in the southern part of the park requiring the most bush-bashing to reach. It was a lovely few hours walking with the geohound. Very peaceful too with roos being the only muggles to contend with All containers were found, all with very good coords, and with only a small number of caches requiring maintenance (noted on the individual logs). Thanks for placing this great series, and TFTC
Data was found 8:34 am. Co-ords were good . Very hard cross country to this one. Found a mobile near here pm me with details if you have lost one

Had a few hours to myself this hot summers afternoon so I thought I'd tackle this series. Great series in a nice wilderness, couldn't quite complete it all so will have to come back to complete another time.
Thank you for this great series Granett and for bringing me out here, a little scratched up by the end but thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Cache is safe, log signed! Live long and prosper fellow geocachers!

Found after some bush bashing and purely by accident after almost giving up tftc
Came back for a second run on these caches, as I didn't get to finish them the first time. Tftc. Thanks for taking the time to place these caches for us to find.
After bush bash due to coming from wrong angle, the arrow drawn in sand made me smile.
All caches found are in good condition; a couple may soon require new log sheet &/or bag.
Find #6 of 22 for the day. Thank you Granett

Steve had a bit of a cry about all the skin he was loosing walking through here, but of a sook if you ask me, TFTH
Another bush bash to get here with a kangaroo track to follow.
This find took a lot longer than the first cache I attempted and was thankful to walk back onto Nicholson road with no bushes to scratch me just a dead kangaroo to keep me at bay
Thanks for the caches Granett. One more to go and I can tick this series off the list once and for all.

Came back today to get the last of the series. I managed to get the whole series done without a dnf so Thankyou Grannett for mantaining the whole series
Some heavy scrub again but found it due to your almost spot on co-ordinates. Thanks a lot Granett; all good here
We are kid free for the day so hubby and I decided to smash out this series.
Another quick find, onto the next. Tftc

Walked around and around in a daze after all the bushwacking. Finally Mr L called to say he could see it. We were getting a bit hot by now so I was grateful that he had found it. TFTC

Now this cache was in the middle of some really thick scrub. Wearing Long pants would be recommended because by this stage my kids decision to all wear shorts was proving a bit scratchy!! Some Roos showed us the way to this cache - tftf
Approaching Data, I found I was just 15m from a kangaroo. I didn't approach it - I hear they give mega-bites Nice quick find. TFTC.
GPS wasn't happy in this area but we spotted it anyway going backwards and forwards and round and round. Signed log and replaced as found, thanks!
Went out this morning with geobrother and family and geosister to finally start getting some smileys for this series. It's been on our radar for a while now, and it was great to get started, especially in this cooler weather when the sand is a bit harder and the snakes aren't much of a threat. Found 16 out of 16 this morning and my parting words to muskcat83 when we finished, was "same time next week to finish it off?"
thanks for the hide!
thanks for the hide!
Found it. TFTC Granett. Still had a current visa so I ventured south and crossed the boarder into the unknown. This is a really great Nature park for a bush walk. I saw lots of signs of the local inhabitants and thats all. I am sure I was seen by them. Thanks for bringing me here.
Thanks for the hide. Taking the opportunity to find a few caches in the area while my hubby attends a course nearby. Bush bashing in from the paperbarks. Really should rethink my attire.
Hadnt been out geocaching in a long time, so headed out with sr_sparky for a few hours. I had been watching this series for a whilst, and today was the day to start it, and get our geo numbers up.
With no clear order in which to do these, we made one up along the way.
-- This one wasnt quite direct from LaForge, and we took a bit of a zigzag to get there. But got there in the end--
All caches were in good condition, some hidden more obvious than others but all with accurate coordinates. Series not complete as the pub called our name, but will be back, next time with long pants to avoid all the scratches from the bush bashing. Oh and watch out for snakes. TFTC Granett

Sqwash's calendar lined up with mine and we decide to head out caching for numbers. Managed to get most of this series completed in 3 hours, only with the associated cuts, a tick and a snake.

Total and utter madness ! Even Data would have a hard time explaining why a cache is placed here! Crazy. Off to bush bash to the next I guess. TFTC
We were here last weekend after watching the grandkids play footy but didn't complete the series as we started quite late in the afternoon. So here we are again to complete the series if possible. We're back on the firebreak, heading Northeast towards the GeoCOMMODOREute, just a couple more to go before our lunchbreak.

Logged under Mummy & Daddy's name smileyjims but I have my own online name now, I found this cache with them and wrote in the log book with them TFTC
Out with smileyjims continuing on our sunny winter days finds, a great spot TFTC
Find #11 of 24 in Jandakot regional park. Some bush bashing required to get to this cache.
We started this series June of last year and decided to come back today to finish it off. Great morning for a walk and we found the remaining 16 caches thanks to great co ords. TFTC Granett this is find number 1135 for us.
I have been wanting to finish this Star Trek Series for some time now. I had previously found 7 hides. With the Geowife at work for a few hours, today was my opportunity. Didn't manage to finish them all, but found 16 more with one DNF.
It was a great day - beautiful weather, lots of bird life, even surprised a mob of kangaroos. Each cache that I found was an easy find. I wish i could have stuck to the tracks a bit more - I seemed to be bush bashing a fair bit. I fell over a couple of times, I lost a power tank pen - All in all a fun morning.

At the beginning it was an easy walk, but over the time some of the caches proves to be much more challenging. I really enjoyed bushwalking !
Thank you! As it was a long weekend, I thought I would head down and check out this series. It was quite an adventure, and I managed to find all but one.
This was my fifth find for the day. By now I was hoping that the whole series didn't require bush bashing.

Saw a Rainbow Lorikeet flying by. Had to dodge shrubs and tolerating erratic GPS signals to get to Data. The sky darkened terrifying me of impending rain. TFTH Granett.
I had some time to kill today, so I decided to find a few more of these caches. It amazes me how you managed to fit so many into such a small patch of bushland. The rain kept coming and going. Most caches were found quickly, with the odd one or two being difficult. I saw a few kangaroos too. A variety of different terrain was trekked, from sand to dense shrub.
Granett, I found your cache ‘Data’ today. It was the twelfth find of fifteen finds (all of this series) with zero DNF’s and brings my total count to 481. The cache was found in a good condition so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for your efforts in hiding this series.
Collected 3 TB's from different caches to move.

With school holidays quickly coming to an end I thought I'd take another shot at finishing this series.
Took me a while to find this one - all the bush bashing must have shaken my focus!
Interesting to see some recent online logs not represented in the physical log....

Tftc Granett I lost my pen and then i saw a fire nearby so i hot footed it out of there
Its been a relatively quiet caching year for me this year then I noticed the other day that I wasn't too far off a significant milestone so decided to see if I could make it before the year was out. In order to do so I needed to pick up about 20 caches. The series in this area fitted my purpose perfectly despite a number being out of action at the moment so I headed down this morning to have a crack at them and to drop off a few GCA moveables. Most were easy finds with only 1 DNF. Some logs were full or nearly so but I can't recall which ones. TFTC and the series.
After a bike race this morning I had the afternoon free for caching, and I've wanted to do this series for quite a long time, so I headed out, not having read the logs about the prescribed burn. It was quite a warm afternoon, but I made my way to every single cache in the area. In the end I found 26, and did not find 10 . I found the first one 1:27pm, and DNF'd the last one at 5:54pm, and ended up walking around 8.5kms. I'm not sure if I took the most optimal route, but in the beginning I let the GPS guide me with 'find next closest', but I made sure I didn't leave any behind in odd places.
I parked on Clifton Road, near Bashir, and started off on the east side, heading south, all the way into the corner, and then worked my way back up the west side, and eventually into the north corner, which seems to be the most affected by the fires. In the south east area I found some of the bush bashing horrendous, but it was much easier going once I got into the southern most corner and back up to the western and northern sides.
I was amazed at the diversity of the flora in the area, there were just patches of different types of trees and bushes, and you would move from one patch to another. I also had a few close encounters with the fauna, a few ticks tried to eat me, and I had to evict a huntsman at one cache, and I also saw several kangaroos, and rabbits, and one animal that looked like a rat but moved liked a rabbit...
Most caches were easy finds, but in a few spots the GPS was jumping around severely.
Thanks for the great series Granett, I enjoyed the walk, and hope to come back soon for the ones I couldn't find due to the fires.

On holidays from SA staying with Yangebup Mick noted the warning about Burn off decided to have a look ! Found the nine caches on the bottom of the triangle in good condition. thanks Granett TNLN
It seems a prescribed burn has occurred in this area. I hope to get out and check the series in the next couple of weeks, until then cache at your own peril.
Another one done. Yay! I found this as part of a daily streak I am working on - almost 3 months now. The first month wasn't so bad, the 2nd month got harder, and now it's getting more challenging to make sure I don't miss a day especially because I'm travelling for work.
I love the challenge of the geocache cache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. My new GPS is working great and it has made my geocaching experience so much simplier and more fun.
Thanks go to Granett for placing this cache and maintaining it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and much appreciated. I enjoyed finding this one on a small detour on my way to the airport. This cache was another "Found it" for me. TFTC! Cheers. [Blue]Jump Pilot[/Blue]

You may call me a Nerd because I have been watching Star Trek in its various incarnations since my college days in 1971, so this series is a must. We picked a beautiful sunny morning, perfect temperature too. 27 finds today, no D.N.Fs. All in good order with pretty accurate coordinates. We split up for a few so that Geohubby got the worst of the bushbashing, leaving me to tackle the sandy paths. TFTC
with a break finally in the weather and it being school holidays....the geokids and I decided to add some much needed 's......TFTC... a quick grab and sign here!!
I Spent 3 hours this morning walking around this bushland collecting smilies. 36 finds and 0 dnf's. I'm not sure which way would have been best to collect these but certainly not the way I went. There was some serious bush bashing at the southern end.
Great series. Thanks Granett.

In Perth for a week for work and had today off. Weather forcaste is miserable, but I was determined to get some caching in. Have set out to try and complete the star trek series. After having to abandon my first attempt after 4 caches I have returned to continue on my mission after the rain had stopped. A quick find, though it is starting to rain again. Thanks Granett.
Quick find once at gz. Had to leave the geowife behind and venture on my own to get this one
Out on an early morning expedition, been a while since I walked round this regional park, lots more caches here now !!!
Bit of a bush bash this one, I should of read the description first..!!
However still a quick on arrival, and on to the next.

#6 for the day and an easy find once at GZ. Some difficult going on the 'overland trip'. SL. Thanks to Granett for the cache.
Great day walking through this park with the geokids. Really appreciate the effort that went into setting up this series. This one nearly got the best of us - the low cover threw our GPS off quite badly but after coming at this one from a few different approaches we ended up with cache in hand. TFTC.
I spent the morning exploring the wonderful caches of Bletchley Park and Piara Waters. On my way home, I noticed that I was close to this lone cache that I could not find on my first sweep of the series. This single cache gave me no grief today as I approached it from a different angle and found it immediately. Pleased to finally complete this series. TFTC Granett
Second attempt at this one and found it straight away. Don't know how I missed it last time.
