Thanks for the generic computer generated reminder that my cache is still 'temporarily disabled' Geocaching HQ.As, we are currently recovering from a tropical cyclone & the area this cache is hidden was badly damaged & currently still dangerous, I will get to replacing it asap.
Temporarily disabling this one until I can replace the container. Will probably move it slightly also. To many grubby thieves hanging around here!
Couldn't find this one, although it was raining at the time so perhaps it was in the small creek that was formed? In which case I wouldn't call it a great spot if it's right at the bottom of the ditch. Decent hiding location though!

We looked and looked and looked but then we needed to go to the toilet. It’s an unsafe place lots of drugs
Finally, today we got to pick up the rebuilt engine for Mrs TMRs Pink Dream Traudl (94R5EF). Since Cairns is always quite the trip for us, we wanted to at least find a cache or two. Unfortunately, it is only this one that we found, easier to approach and find than we thought.

That was a surprise after the previous 2 logs. Didn’t think it would be there but was a very quick find. Thanks
I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 10. This was my last day around Cairns and I went South for a bit of caching, even a few short walks.
Thanks for the cache Stinky.Cheese

Struggled with this one (our first location) but plan on going back for a second try in the next few days.
Found but is in need of maintenance. Didn't bring paper to write on. Will bring paper next time I'm out this way. TFTC

Clever name ..but to no avail due to the recent flooding here and the obvious activity it was no surprise that we did not find it Still an awesome day in the sun
Looked for a while but there were a lot of leaves and it may have been under them?
Our time in FNQ is drawing to an end. So we decided to do some full on caching and left the caravan in Walkamin whilst we head out to explore Port Douglas and Cairns.
After a big caching day yesterday it was after 9am before we headed out. Another 31degrees and the humidity was rising. We headed up to Trinity beach to start the day then cached down to Gordonvale for lunch at Piefection before returning to our camp at 5.30pm.
Really enjoyed touring Cairns and being tourists using geocaching as our tour guide.

0930 - Out and about with a visiting Kiwi friend and enjoying this beautiful, slightly overcast day and the fresh air. The experience must have been so good that my friend decided to join and register with his caching name ....
Today was my lucky day and I finally can log a find for this cache after many empty handed visits. T4TC.

Once on the right side of the bridge it was an easy find.
Thanks for the hide

Oh, I better replace this cache before the '28 days' expire before the bot does another sweep & advises a generic message be sent. Pity the system doesn't remove caches owned by people that haven't accessed their accounts for years & have caches with multiple DNF & Need Maintenance logs...
Anyway, cache will be replaced this week & we will see how long it takes before some 'app' user decides to keep it : )

After a lengthy absence from the 'Cairns hunting scene' (August 2014), I dusted off my gear and met up with my friends Ingrid and Walter for another exciting morning in the fresh air in SW area of the city. Excited to find treasures and to catch up.
Sadly, with all our eyes and brains, we could not find this little treasure. Wondering if it might have gone walk-about ....?

A maintenance check today revealed some grub has stolen this cache. I will replace it ASAP!
Well thanks to the cheese giving some advice on this one at a recent event I went back on my day off from work only to find it in seconds. Cant believe I didn't get it the first time I was here. Quite obvious once you look on the right side of the bridge.
