A day full of caches, grass seeds, flies and fun. thanks for providing most of today;s entertainment Granett
Curious kangaroo was watching me from a distance as I signed the log. Too bad my camera is not good enough to capture it from afar…as I was typing this log, I heard a rustle in the bushes. I looked up and saw the kangaroo just approx. 5-10m from me. I screamed in shocked and scared it away. Sorry kangaroo! Thanks for the adventure here. My closest encounter with a kangaroo so far
Picking up a couple of the series while in the area. A great day for a bush walk. A quick find here. Thanks for the hide.
Slowly working our way through this series we made our way to this one. A brief search turned up the cache and we soon had our names added to your log. This is a great bit of bushland to wander on such a beautiful day. It’s always good to do a welfare check on one that hasn’t been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing well. TFTC Granett.
Thank you. This was the first cache of the day, and the one I really wanted, as I dnfed it years ago, only to find I needed it to complete a particular challenge. Super happy to make the find.
Chasing a few urban caches on cloudy and showery day.
I come into the Federation only to find Seven to complete my Alphanumeric challenge.
Success!! AN challenge complete!!
Favourite point added!
Granett, I found Seven today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

After a nice hefty flick in the ear, I’m happy to log this bad boy... 2/4 down.

A beautiful day for a stroll after a month of rain. This is find number 46 for me and the last one for the day. I was hoping to complete the series but time got the better of me and there are still four remaining for another day. The sun has gone down, it’s getting dark and I still need to get back to my car through the bush. A very enjoyable day. Thanks Granett for the series.
Headed to Perth for the weekend with the geoboyfriend @jamesknowlson for his referee awards dinner and to just have a little get away together.
James adores geocaching so of course we got right to it. It was James’ first trip driving to Perth so obviously we stopped at each town and luckily we had a few geocaches to find while stopping to rest our legs.
We got to Perth and headed to Canning Vale to pick up some of the millions of geocaches which we found about 11 then away we went for the rest of the day- I bought an Apple Watch and watched James drive through the big city for it. That was the end of the geocaching for today and let’s see what tomorrow brings…

On a trip from albany to Perth for a referee’s awards night with Jasmine. Stopped by a few caches along the way, and this was part of our trip.
Have visited this group of caches before a small while back. Returned to grab a few more today. If I had a bit more time I’d happily spend hours on end in these areas searching for caches.

Found the little cache. All good here. Thanks for the lovely walk after a lockdown
Lyn Pat and Nathan said they found it in the open and replaced it. This leaves three possibilities. The animals may be responsible. (possible) I just didn't find it (very very possible) The Borg are responsible.( that's my guess)
Birds chirping in the trees and big metal birbs flying over heard making a hell of a racket. TFTC
We found the perform it in the open. Not far from where it should be. We logged it and placed it back where it should be just above ground level in its nook.
My GPS was jumping 20m out all over the place here so I couldn’t be certain where GZ was.
I check all likely hosts within the area.
Found an old sistema lid out in the open but no cache.
The only DNF for the day

This was in the open and wet. As was the unite a distance, have residents where we think it might have been originally.
I've had my eye on this series for quite some time, and some annual leave over Easter provided the perfect opportunity to get over here and visit the 'Federation' Yesterday I came over to pick up the Big Bang series so while here I took a quick look around in this part of the park to get an idea what to expect. Today I am back and fully prepared! The weather was slightly cooler but dry and perfect for a decent hike around through the bush. In the end it took me around 5 hours to complete the whole series, with those in the southern part of the park requiring the most bush-bashing to reach. It was a lovely few hours walking with the geohound. Very peaceful too with roos being the only muggles to contend with All containers were found, all with very good coords, and with only a small number of caches requiring maintenance (noted on the individual logs). Thanks for placing this great series, and TFTC
Set our sight on finishing this series today. This was number 18 for the day and the final cache . Another nice quick find with excellent coordinates.
A big thank you for the effort in setting and maintaining this series. Several caches have had paper added for additional log space and I have distributed many trinkets around the series as well.
Cheers for the effort Granett.

Had a few hours to myself this hot summers afternoon so I thought I'd tackle this series. Great series in a nice wilderness, couldn't quite complete it all so will have to come back to complete another time.
Thank you for this great series Granett and for bringing me out here, a little scratched up by the end but thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Had a few issues with GZ at this one, looked in all the obvious spots then waited for GZ to settle and found at 0
Cache is safe, log signed! Live long and prosper fellow geocachers!

Came into the area this morning to grab the last 6 caches that I didn't get the last time I was here 2 years ago, I did some bush bashing for these ones, I came across many Kangaroos, no snakes sighted that was a good thing, TFTH Granett SL.
Thwarted by wet weather last weekend and hectic posh dress work commitments this week I’ve had to do some of this series in small bites when dressed appropriately for bush bashing. Today I’m also thwarted as I have to play at the Kelmscott Show so again time is limited. Fortunately another quick find after admiring magical wildflowers in this area. Not too much dirt in my band saxophone shirt either. The end is nearly to hand ...
Couldn’t resist the opportunity to get out in the spring sunshine and do some geocaching. Decided to start this series. Found eight and despite a good twenty min search, 1 DNF here at Seven
Very visible on approach. Swapped container for the wet one (now dry) I swapped out last time, and added some vegetarive camo.
Came back for a second run on these caches, as I didn't get to finish them the first time. Tftc. Thanks for taking the time to place these caches for us to find.
After going to get my annual skin cancer checkup... because there is nothing I love better than being butt naked, with an old man checking out your bits... I decided to nab some of Granett's Canning Vale caches for a couple of hours before work. Despite it being terribly wet and miserable, I managed to come away 19 finds, no DNFs and a pair of sopping wet shoes!
Walked over from Kira for this one. On the approach to the cache, I probably scared off about half a dozen roos. Thanks for the cache Granett!

I thought I would try and get this series knocked over to try and claim all my new souvenirs, the rain wasn't helpful and neither was the wind. I'm so glad that all my finds today were easy. I'll have to come back and finish off the series another day. thanks Grannett
This one was a touch out in the open but in good nick and plenty of room inside. Thanks Granett.
We are kid free for the day so hubby and I decided to smash out this series.
Easy to spot! Tftc

It is ridiculous and stupid to try to find a cache in this heat, but I kept in mind that in two days I'll be back in Finland searching them in freezing cold, so why not 'enjoy' this while still here. Certainly no muggles anywhere in sight! TFTC!
A new log book here, nice!

Definitely appears to be missing, first one in the series that seems to have dissapeared so far, a shame
Not sure why I've avoided this series to this point, but out and about on a beautiful winters day to grab some caches. Not too hot and with joe blake and ticks absent, it couldn't get better. Decided not to fish out the reserve in the one go and thought I'd have a run at 9 of the caches today.
Found some bark where I presumed cache was meant be, but no cache. Checked through the logs and found some spoiler photos indicating that I was at the right spot. Think it's been muggled.

Saw this one from a long way a way. Tftc. Would be nice if people would leave nice trinkets. Have been filling them up as we go.
Headed back today to keep our search going with this series. The recent rain has ensured that the sandy path is still somewhat easy to travel on. Had a great morning searching for the caches with muskcat83 & his geokids & marlsj.
Enjoying the walk off the main track and in the bush - easier to walk through too! Fortunately this bush wasn't as thick as some of the bush we had to navigate through last week!
thanks for the hide!

Found it. TFTC Granett. Still had a current visa with multiple entry, so I ventured south and crossed the boarder into the great depths of the unknown. I want to finish this series today. This is a really great Nature park for a bush walk. I saw lots of signs of the local inhabitants last week but this time I got a glimpse of 4 of the locals and they were not small. Thanks for bringing me here.
Luckily we haven’t logged all of them when we started this series and had no idea what a caching calendar is. Two years wiser we happily come to get the cache to file the empty spot in the calendar.
Thanks Granett for bringing out this series conveniently close in our home zone.

In Perth for a couple of nights so I thought I would get a few smiley faces on my he map. This looks like a good spot. Need to walk my KFC off. TFTC
Thanks for the hide. Taking the opportunity to find a few caches in the area while my hubby attends a course nearby. Lifted up the cache and a giant spider ran out.
No real path to this one, I tromped in from Archer. Like how it's weighed down. TFTC
We were here last weekend after watching the grandkids play footy but didn't complete the series as we started quite late in the afternoon. So here we are again to complete the series if possible.
So our lunchbreak is done and we're headin' along the firebreak for the Northern loop.
Again, had a quick find here, signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

TFTC Had a few hours spare today so cravo10 and I decided to pickup a few odd caches around the joint.
We headed off to grab some of the Star Trek cache series near Nicholson road. I started the series some time ago and cherry picked the outside caches, leaving the middle ones, the "harder" ones for another day. Today was the day organised a small loop to pickup a few of the caches and with my back playing up again we left the last small leg of four for another day.
All caches were found in good condition with plenty of space left in the logs, a really nice well put together series here by granett. Well done mate
We then had some spare time and ducked down to grab the new cache in Seville grove which was tempting to try for FTF on last night but was too tired. Would have been great to see the FTF party but alas it wasn't to be.
Thanks

Down this way with a few hours to kill so will see how much of this series I can get done. Quick find here. TFTC

Be coincidence Seven was my seventh find for the morning. I looked at the satellite view in planning this cache hunt to minimise the amount of bush bashing. Walked to this cache from The Doctor and then back out again. Was a good route to the cache.
Out with smileyjims continuing on our sunny winter days finds, a great spot TFTC
A very late log, found with parkacruz and piknik15 but we never logged online which we are now rectifying TFTC
Logged under Mummy & Daddy's name smileyjims but I have my own name now, I found this cache with them and wrote in the log book with them TFTC
I was unable to find this cache last time as it had been moved from it's original location. I had some spare time today, so I decided it was time to finish this series. I parked at the nearest entrance to the bush land and walked to the cache. I found the cache immediately upon arriving at GZ. Much less searching was required this time.
Granett, I found your cache ‘Seven’ today. It was the First find of two finds today, with zero DNF’s and brings my total count to 571. The cache was found in a good condition so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for placing this series, now I have finally finished them all.

Came by to check on this one and couldn't locate it so I placed a new container. I was heading back to the car and spotted it on the ground about 50 meters from GZ, I think 'Skippy' must have taken it for ride. I took it back to GZ and covered it up a bit, should still be an easy find.
Won't get them all but nice cool day for a walk. Didn't find this one. From another direction Debb09m were also looking for it. Looked at previous logs and saw 3 dnfs so on we moved. Thanks for the series.
At the beginning it was an easy walk, but over the time some of the caches proves to be much more challenging. I really enjoyed bushwalking !
Couldn't find Seven
Couldn't find Seven
As it was a long weekend, I thought I would head down and check out this series. It was quite an adventure, and I managed to find all but this one. I looked in all the types of places the other caches had been, but with no luck.

The possibility of impending rain has now become a reality with heavy drizzle. The Colorado School of Mines wind breaker, which I tucked in my haversack became of help now. But, GPS signals were dancing like mad, making me turned round and round not knowing exactly in what direction I should go. Found the cache eventually, but time was already 3.30 pm and it is getting darker. Could I finish off with all the caches?

Another one from Miss 9, feel my pain. Knock knock, whose there? Cock, cock who? Cockadoodle!
