Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. 8/8/18 1:14 pm Find #1992
The last cache for the day for NyssaFlutterby, Wombles&Co and I, before we had to head black to our respective areas for school pickups.
Arriving at GZ, Nyssa soon spotted the beast, but unfortunately it has seen better days. The lid part has been broken, which explains why the inner is no longer to be found. We have placed some waterproof stone paper in for now, until the CO decided what needs to be done with this one.
Thanks for the cache mtill17.

Last cache for the day, almost time to head back to school pickups.
The cache was located quickly but sadly is missing the inner container and log book.
Not sure why the last few finders before us didn’t mention this as someone has logged about the missing container and log book a while back!
1minniemoo has some special paper in the car so she added this to the cache, but it will need replacing or fixing.
A bit of a waste of a telescope here, the view is ok but not much to see except into the house across the street!

The goal for the day was to hit 100 caches
We started with the rose geoart, then worked out way through little areas of park and grabs on the way home! We made it although quite a few after dark! TFTC

The cache was spotted after a bit of a search, however the inner mint container which was supposed to be there is no longer. No log book, no container but nevertheless the cache is still a good one as the clue is spot on.
This nice hide was quickly spotted and we retreated to the picnic table conveniently placed nearby to open it. The log was disintegrated from moisture and having absorbed the wood stain so this was replaced with a new log sheet, caching note and drying agent in a plastic bag before leaving snuggly tucked back in the hide. I wonder how well-known this vantage spot is with a good view back towards Caloundra. TFTC
A quick find here, and I always admire these. I was a little surprised there was no plastic bag for the log, so I rearranged it to protect the log a little, but it could really use it.
The binoculars are an interesting addition, but... what about the trees growing right in front of them?
TFTC where all is good.

Had us a little 'stumped' but Josh made the find and we were on our way TFTC!
It seems that the elevation is not the only thing that gets high around here, with some interesting accessories found laying about the area. Maybe that's the only way you can see out of the telescope there. With no apparent way to adjust the lens focus I was seeing double when I tried to use it. But with none of us under the influence, the cache did not remain hidden for too long. TFTC
Cyclone Debbie was naughty. Not only did she make a real mess everywhere and get everything wet - she also spoilt the Bromance plans for a hike in Lamington NP. Somehow we ended up on the Sunshine Coast instead, which turned out to be a good alternative.
From the rubbish floating around GZ, I reckon every garden hose in the postcode is 6 inches shorter than when it was bought. A quick find. Nice view from up here.
Thanks mtill17

The Bromance (Swellerfungus, Seffnjarah and CrookedPete) came north from Brisvageas for a spot of Sunshine Coast hospitality - caching style. We started early and cached through for most of the day. As usual we looked for interesting caches with some better D/T statistics. Many of the Puzzles had not yet been solved by me (as this was a last minute decision to come here), so I have relied on the kindness of my companions, and am slowly solving all the ones we did before logging each one.
A quick find here. Looks like the locals come up here to 'enjoy' themselves!

Streak day 50 of trying to complete my calendar - Today we had hoped to be able to have a picnic on the beach, but unfortunately the weather had other plans. It was a rather dreary day. Instead we had lunch at a nearby rsl then decided since the sun had come out briefly that we could grab some geocaches before heading home. We grabbed three near the rsl then another one a few streets away since we had gotten lost trying to find our way to this cache. Since it had a few favourite points I thought it might be something different that the kids would enjoy finding. We weren't disappointed. We parked nearby and admired the view before honing in on the GZ. Whilst I recognised the cache type having seen one previously my niece and nephew were a bit perplexed at first then rather excited once they realised how to open the cache. They excitedly took the cache over to their parents and sister, who were still in the car, to show off their find. We signed the log then returned the cache to its hiding place. Thanks for a clever cache.
Found it haha I picked it up and thought Nah that's not it well I was wrong lol tftc
Sadly on a roll here. This one has had some troubles too. I located the outer container easily enough, but there was nothing inside. I had nothing that would fit, but I did add a bit of paper as a log.
Needs some TLC too.

Great view form here even if it was a bit smoggy. Loved the binoculars.
Stopped here for a bit of a break and enjoyed the scenery before hunting the cache. A fairly quick find, but there was no log book. I had nothing suitable to fix it up but I did leave a bit of paper as a temporary log.

Found. Out in open. Eclipse container and swaps was not what we found the log in. Log also called Narnia Tree...should be king of the mountain. Tftc
Barbbowman and I occasionally have the same day free and love to go geocaching together when possible so today we were both excited to head up the Coast and grab a few geocaches that made it through our filters into GSAK.
We were slowly heading back to the highway but there is always time for a few more. We navigated the back roads and soon were parking the subaru close to GZ. We started searching around for the cache and soon I found it quite some distance from where Barb was searching. I called her over and signed our names in the logbook before replacing all as found. Thanks for the cache mtill17

TFTC nice hide .. Was sort of laying out in the open so easily spotted have put it back with a bit more camo - maybe a little bit harder for the next cacher
Out with ned and mrs kelly having fun watching them search as i have found it before under a different name. Love your caches. Gracias mtill17
Great hide!!!! Great quick find during the middle of the night, easy when you don't have to worry about any muggles around another fav!
Had a spot of bother connecting with the satellites around here, so had to locate this one with no help from the gps. Just looking at the static map and trying to locate the correct street. The description of the lookout park was very helpful and after a few 3 point turns up dead end roads, we were up on top of the mountain.
Unfortunately the scrappy trees just below the lookout have grown too tall and are now totally obscuring the view, so all the binoculars are good for is examining the gutters on the roof opposite.
We sat down at the table, hoping the gps would find a signal. I even restarted my phone but still no luck. I started to wander around for a look anyway using the hint. Luckily, we hadn't got very far and I found something that fit the description. Sure enough the eclipse was soon located in its sneaky hide.
Clever construction - always a good one to blend into the bush.

Some ants have taken up residence inside so take care when opening to get to the cache inside.

Maintenance complete this cache is now good to go! The log book has been replaced.
Temporary Disabling all of my caches for the next few days to allow for a major maintenence run. Thanks for the patience. Everything will be up and running again soon.
Girls are out today for caching fun and laughs. Great camo job, love this one and deserves one of our favourite points.
A not so quick park and grab for me today but I still got it in the end .

I am making my way south from Gympie after visiting Dad for his B'day.
So a little detour on the way home was in order.
I was to meet IolantheK for a day of caching and we soon teamed up.
A quick find as we made our way around the area.
Thanks for the cache.

We spent quite a while looking in the wrong area before our eye caught something that looked a bit suspicious. Very nice camo, TFTC!
Had fun on this one, even though we spent a good amount of time in the wrong spot. Nicely camouflaged! TFTC.
Where was this cache when we were looking for a picnic lunch location 10mins ago?! tftc!
A bit of deja Vue here as there was previously another cache here, guess that went by the wayside. After a short search, I noticed something and decided to have a closer look.... yes, it was the cache.
Nice work on this one, thanks mtill17

MinkosDes and I enjoyed the binoculars while ZoolandR and spinna76 looked for the container. A find was found quick enough and that was #600 for spinna. Congrats on the milestone.

#600 @ 10:23PM Couldn't find a mountain for my 600 locally tonight so King of the Mountain seemed only fitting. Thanks to ZoolandR, MinkosDes and dahumbug for sharing this milestone with me. ~ TFTC mtill17
Booyah Found it!
Out with Dahumbug Minkos Des and Spinna76 on a night cache tour. Whilst we loosely chose an area which we all hadn't completed there was the odd cache which one of us had the chance to sit back and watch the others fumble around foolishly in the dark (because they had found them already). No hints were given to anyone who hadn't yet found the cache.
CONGRATS TO SPINNA76 on his 600th Cache! We tried to make him get out of the car to climb the mountain properly but he wouldn't do it.
Tried to use the binoculars to spy inside people's houses but I didn't see anything interesting!
yappy muggle dog in the background.

Well, with our plans to have a milestone cache coincide with our fourth geo-birthday falling foul of higher beings who had other plans for us which distracted us from our goal, I was beginning to feel the need to let loose to take my mind off our woes. When I received a message from IolantheK about one of our missing caches and how she planned on going out to play on a day when I would not be working, I thought what the heck ... I needed the distraction and after meeting up at a convenient point to hook up with IolantheK and Dutchie 1950, we were soon on the Sunshine Coast for a day of play.
We managed to quickly spy what we were looking for and had the cache in hand in no time. With the log quickly signed we made our way back to the car to head for the next cache on the list. Thank you for having placed the cache mtill17

Geopartner and I came here at 1 am for the FTF on the eclipse under the binoculars just not long after this area opened.
There was a lovely view over the houses in the dark with all the twinkling street lights.
Well here I am back again and it is dark again.
Last one for the day and I will come back up the coast to find the others.
Sat down and thought about the cache grabbed the torch and went for a bit of a look and saw something a bit special.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks mtill17 All good with this cache

# 382 - Play-day again! This time not only with IolantheK, but Ms JaT joined us for the day, after she'd re-instated a muggled cache for us to be found, so that we could add another smiley to our lists.
The day started as usual at Maccas on the Bribie Island Road where a little yellow car this time was outnumbered by two little red cars! Off we went on our way to Caloundra where there were still a lot of smileys to be gotten...
What can I say? A nice and easy one for us. Signed the log and where on our way again.

Another beautiful day and we enjoyed visiting friends of the Sunshine coast. Managed to combine our visit with some geocaching. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Nice one [^][^] Fav point alloc. Thanks to mtill17.
Needing to clean up a few local caches I headed to this one and luckily had the cache in hand very quickly. Another very clever hide by a new cacher. Now to find a bucket to get the other one near here. Well done and a favourite point from me. Tftc mtill17
Found this little one while out with a muggle friend. Phone gps had us looking in the wrong spot and I was about to give up cause how hard can an eclipse tin be to find??? Decided to try the gps and finally had us in the right spot and the rather crafty hidey hole was found. Loved it. Very clever. TFTC
Another cache found what a hill to climb, and really good hiding place. TFTC mtill17
Finally a nice fine weekend and a perfect last day of Winter - so off we headed to find some local caches. This one is just up the road from our house so it was about time we got to it. We parked close by and after having a look at our house through the binoculars we started searching for the cache. It wasn't long before we found the very clever hide. A great cache! TNLNSL TFTC
Headed out today, to pick up some more caches in the Caloundra area.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition. Good camo.
Many thanks for placing this cache, mtill17, for us and others to find.

Heading back from Caloundra and I saw this one on the radar so we made a detour but came in the wrong way. So a short stroll and we were soon at GZ and the cache was soon in hand.
We relaxed nearby while we signed the log and listened to the birds before replacing things as found.

I found this interesting cache just before going away on holidays and forgot to actually do the log before I ran away.
This was a very creative cache but surprisingly did not take me as long as I could of. As when looking around at GZ for some reason the cache caught my eye and a log was signed.
Thanks for the cool cache 'mtill17'. Everything is in good order.

I pulled the Geovan up on the side of the road and walked over to the viewing platform.
I remember standing here awhile go collecting a geocache from under the telescope platform.
I was sitting down looking toward GZ, thinking about the hide and the hint. Then something caught my eye, about 6m from where I should have been. So I wandered over to investigate......I'll be, it was the well designed cache ....Nice job.
I removed the cache from it's hide and walked back over to the seat to do the deed with the log book.
After signing the log and replacing the cache back into it's hide, which I would rate as a T 1.5 not a 3, I headed back to the Geovan to continue on my way. [^][^]
Congrats to mozzafamily for being FTF....Good job!!
