No joy here, seem to be getting a bit of a DNF run, might be time to head north sooner than intended
On a trip to the area getting some caches for a challenge. All good with the cache. Thanks
Came down for a few days to complete a part of the A2O. The landscapes between Duntroon and Oamaru are pretty awesome!
Many thanks for the cache. Mr Kiwi dropped me off near Windsor and I walked back to town.
Cache was a quick find and it will possibly be the last for the day as it feels like it will rain
Moving along quite quickly now.
Glad of these straight forward finds as some got quite difficult later on.
Thanks for putting this here

Today started cycling the alps to ocean rail trail an awesome experience. With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
#17957. Last of the CWR series for today. Had a pretty good run (just one DNF). TFTC.
Day 1 of a long leap day weekend in Oamaru and surrounds. StreetWalkerNZ and I have brought the bikes with us and are planning on riding part of the A2O trail.
Didn't take long to track down the cache. Despite thinking we would continue to Weston, as we are not far away from our accommodation and we are tired, so time to pull the plug. TFTC.

Out for a walk and on a bit of a mission to get the caches along this part of alps to ocean. This was the first for the day. Cracker day for it! TFTC
Finally finding some time to log these caches. Took a couple of days off work and decided that today was the day to knock off the next section on the A2O. A wee bit cool and quite windy but enjoyable none the less. A fee quicks finds and a few tough ones. A shout out to Drawp who I run into on the way and helped me with a couple. TFTC.
This one is remaining elusive. So we arranged a replacement to help it along. Cheers
Thursday 18 April - Amberly to Dunedin, with time out in Oamaru for a cycle along the A2O trail. Toby is parked at Weston and Zara by The Shed, and we are off on peddle power.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

Per previous logs this one is missing. Original hide still obvious. Checked downhill in case it had decided to run away on its own, but no. Also had a good look in the flood prone area in case it had been placed there. Taybeedragon has a huge cache maintenance kit so we put in a replacement.
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few vituals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Another DNF for me. Saw a pile of stones at a post at the start of the retaining wall but no cache nor anywhere else I looked.
A quick park and grab while on my way to oamaru to get as many caches I can for points for the planatery Pursuit challenge. TFTC
On holiday from the North Island and really enjoying Oamaru. Cache is in place and all good. Having a great ride on a warm sunny day. Oamaru is doing us proud! TFTC
The turn around for this section of track. I'd just picked up the cache when The Seagnoid came up behind me on his bike, he had left Taybee Dragon further along the road and was heading back to get the car. Signed for both of us. Thanks Bitsprayer

Our last morning in Oamaru we wanted to stretch our legs before our journey home. No problems with finding the cache. TFTC
I brought my bike down with me on the trip to Omamaru to do some of the bike trails and today I did lots of them parking the car and then biking back and forward so made a big day but very enjoyable saw lots of neat stuff too.
Spent Saturday going like the clappers and knocking as many of these off as we could as a group. Signed as TTT (Trans Tasman Team) Thanks for the fun day you provided us with! Just a reminder to everyone to park safely, a number of vehicles were a major hazard while we were here.....
The rain eased off in the early evening, and we decided to head out to collect a last few Oamaru caches before we return home to Tauranga tomorrow.
We would like to extend a huge THANKS to all the cache owners for providing so many good quality caches for us to hunt for ... we have had a wonderful time here, and the scenery in this area is AWESOME!

The 4th of our 6 Day Adventure to and around Oamaru for [Oamaru Geofest 2017](https://coord.info/GC6M2V0).
Today included an early morning CITO, observing the Steampunk competition, a lunchtime Event and of course fitting in some geocaching between the wind and the spit which then later turned to rain.
Heading back to the venue now so just picking up this quick easy PnG. With Mums little wee car we just pulled up right next to it, while signing another group of geocachers arrived so it was passed to them to sign and return. Thanks for placing the cache and adding to our smilies

Whoops! Missed logging this one. I'm still trying to get time to finish our logging from NZ. This is in NO WAY a reflection of our lack of excitement in finding the cache. In this case it's just one I noticed I missed as I check through my papers before throwing them away.
Many thanks for yet another of your geocaches that we found when attending the Geofest Bitsprayer. You've certainly enhanced our enjoyment of our visit to New Zealand. Thanks for this cache! Cheers and happy caching!

After attending a couple of events earlier in the day we decided to head out to the Enfield and Elderslie area to grab some solved puzzles and traditionals. Thank you to all the COs for organising these placements.
Out and about with Karma Reprint and Kiwi Legend, another smiley face on this great trail. Signed as K^3LMR. Cheers
This cache was found during our Oamaru Geofest Road Trip and logged as TTT (Trans Tasman Team). Thanks you for the placement. Was a great weekend filled with lots of fun and caching of course.
I thought i had logged all i found over the Geofest weekend, but it appears i have missed a couple, might have to be more organized with the next big event. Signed as TTT, thanks.
This was the ninth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms.
Found with pazzabella and Geocchi. TFTC.

I cycled some of the A2O trail today. A great all round experience, good weather, interesting countryside, and a few caches to find along the way.

With only one weekend and so many caches to do in Oamaru, Agazo, Pazza and I hit the road and headed off on a trail starting here. Tftc
Thanks for another smile but now need to head back for the CITO event in Oamaru and ditch all the rubbish I've managed to gather in the past few days of caching.

Visiting for the geofest, we cached with Happy Feet 1 during our time here.

After a half hearted attempt at rogaining with Geocchi and Agazo, we made a unanimous decision to abandon it and go for instant gratification without all the stress and go on a road trip and a numbers game instead. Tftc!
Found with TTT. Having a wonderful time caching with the group and going to all of the Geofest events! Thanks for the cache!
Caching with our NZ friends signing as trans tasman team TTT. Loving the experience. Tftc
Out grabbing some caches with Di Morgan while here at the Oamaru Geofest. A few spots of rain but it didn't stop us making this find.
Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

DAY 4
After a good cafe breakfast at Naesby our mission was to complete the other side of Danseys Pass. Some caches were wet and damp and a couple of DNF'S. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Our journey to the bottom of the South Island has been almost two years in the planning. We were determined to make it to Oamaru Geofest. We decided to also factor in completing a couple of missions (JASMER and Virtual challenges), and the wheels started turning...
Day Four: Naseby-Danseys Pass-Oamaru
Our plan for today was to be in Oamaru by evening. We wanted to be ready for the opening of Geofest tomorrow. With the more challenging section of roadway behind us, we were now on the outskirts of our destination. From our observations of the geomap, this area is best described as being cache saturated... Although the numbers are appreciated, many placements are just links in a very long trail...
As we drew closer to our destination, our focus changed slightly... We decided to target solved puzzles and any traditional caches that were on some of these routes. TFTC.

This one is like my type of cache... not too hard or taxing. .. take a look at mine. Cheers
Easy found. I waited about 10 minutes until I could reach the cache because the road was super busy! Received a few strange looks!
The second day of the Oamaru leg of our "Road to 6000" Challenge - and back on the bikes to pick up some caches along the Alps to Ocean bike trail.
A quick find.

On a road trip to Dunedin with our bikes on board.
Felt like a short MTB power trail and this fitted the bill.
A quick find and sign.

Stopped the car and went for a bike ride along here to pick up this sequence - probably the ideal way of doing so. All these were pretty quick finds. Signed log, TFTC
