I dont know how these things go missing! Its missing. Thanks N0w0rries+wife for volunteering to take a look. Im living over 4000km away so unfortunately this one has to go. Thanks for the fun.

We had a decent search here but unfortunately no luck. We had an idea of what we were looking for but trampling in the vegetation was making us look questionable to passing on lookers.
Had both boys and my daughter still no joy as well the rain come down def back to find on a finer day

Shenanigans were going to happen today, it was just a question of what form they took. The original plan was to visit as many SideTracked caches as possible on the rails, but the weather and a couple of other obligations prompted a rethink. Anyway, between exchanging some defective footwear and meeting n0w0rries to join forces, a cache was published.
And after we'd managed to log that one before anyone else, of course we celebrated by visiting a few more stations and points in between.
This was the second cache n0w0rries wanted to check up on, and had the advantage that he'd helped replace it recently. So we fished it from it's hiding place, and it's in fine nick. And I get a bonus smiley.
Hilariously, my partner in crime had forgotten to actually log it last time.
Thanks, TeamThommo

Ooops, I forgot to log this one.
Returned today (6/5/22) during a caching run through the local train stations.
The water level is a tad (metric measurement there) higher than during my previous visit.
Fortunately the croc hunting pole has permanent resident status in the back of the GeoPrado. [^]
All good in croc land.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?** ###
----------
Hi there TeamThommo,
I've held off on this one but it is now 14 months since it was last found and, whilst it is an unusual placement, there needs to be a CO check to ensure there is still something there - as per the Guidelines.
You would have received an email from Geocaching HQ regarding this back in September, when the cache Health Score dropped below the threshold.
#What should you do:-#
**You need to place a 'Write Note' log within the next 2 weeks (24th March) indicating an actual date when you believe you will be able to check on the cache.**
Once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.
Please respond to this situation by **24th March**, to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Took my own crocs for this one, but after 15 minutes with wet feet and a wet dog, didn't find any geocache.

after getting my feet wet, I gave it away. Thanks anyway for getting me out here.

Tried two days in a row. Second day with big gumboots, but the water is really high at the moment so may wait for summer.
I checked on this one yesterday, my gumboots were not tall enough, seems this pond holds more than it ever used too!
If you follow the duck trail, look under the reeds to your left, you might find a pice of string before you find the croc, I’d be very very very surprised if it was gone.
Log is stone paper so even if it’s a little wet the container and log should be ok.
If the level is down the next time I’m in the area I will check in it again.

For a D2, I spent a lot of time here looking. But after the second cut on my fingers and with the swans really starting to get upset - DNF

Had to give up on this one, not sure if water levels makes a difference as the pond was high due to the rain most of the day, bit disappointed was looking forward to seeing it.
After starting to feel the moisture in my socks, the log was in hand and signed. Clever hide

**Find #2862**
**Traditional Cache Find #1985**
I headed out early today to target this cache and try to finish The Slog series. Over a year since last found made this attractive but three DNF's were a deterrent. Fortunately, a proactive CO put my mind at ease by checking the cache and posting an Owner Maintenance log. A well worn trail led me towards the water and after a minute or so, I spied the cache. Very cute. I hurriedly signed the log because I could feel my feet sinking into the swamp. Note to self: Lose some weight. A favourite point from me and the 384 unloved days are a real bonus.

Thank-you to TeamThommo for placing this geocache

As suspected the cache is still there, I can see why it’s been DNF’ed a few times there is an animal trail that looks more obvious than the geo trail, I have pulled the cache out of the reeds and it is now accessible from the animal trail - follow the animal trail, step to the left and look to your left in the reeds.
**Log is damp, it’s still usable and not squishy as it’s stone paper please don’t log maintenance for this, it’s the nature of this particular cache.

I’ll try to get there in coming weeks, I’d be very surprised if it’s gone considering I was the only one that ever picked up rubbish in the area. I suspect it’s there under the reeds, they tend to fall over and lie flat.
In the area after an event for my son, plotted a course around some local caches. Had found the three I had searched for before this and spent a while poking around here without luck. There is a good chance it is there somewhere and given all the fav points I was keen to see it, but it won't be today. Thanks anyway.

Out and about with Candy79. Found this very cute cache on a lovely summer's eve. Tftc!
I like this little outcrop among the wetlands.
There was more rain starting as I wandered along to GZ. Taking shelter briefly, it soon enough passed and I was soon finding the nicely themed hide. Ha ha very clever and not quite what I was expecting. There was some water in the container so I emptied it out and wiped out the inside. Hopefully it should all be good now.

It's a little bit wet but we found the croc. And discover a cool striped ladybug. Check out the photo. No spoilers.
Geodaughter had been off school sick for a few days and she was still not 100% today so she'd joined me this morning for a walk with my social walking group and we'd actually walked down this way today. Being with muggles at the time, meant we hadn't checked for any caches at the time, but now we were back in the area to pick up muggle daughter from school and somehow we were early (for a change) so had a quick look to see what was nearby and it turns out we'd practically walked past it earlier in the morning!
Well, there was no choice, we had to go look for it now.
I had an idea what I was looking for and geodaughter (aka Stormgirl13) was now a bit tired so once we reached GZ, she sat down under the tree keeping the electronic devices safe while I searched. Having done a couple of TeamThommo's caches in similar spots, I soon narrowed down a couple of likely areas and was soon rewarded with the fun camo/container.
The log was soaked but I managed to sign it without the pen running too much. It definitely needs replacing but we hadn't bought anything with us and we didn't have any time left to get back to the car to get one without being late for picking up the muggle teenager.
Thanks for the fun and for bringing us again to this wonderful spot

I remember when rock was young
Me and Suzie had so much fun
holding hands and skimming stones
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own
But the biggest kick I ever got
was doing a thing called the Crocodile Rock
While the other kids were Rocking Round the Clock
we were hopping and bopping to the Crocodile Rock

Found this cache after attending the CITO event which was nearby today. Had a really fun time at the event, meeting some new faces and some familiar faces. After arriving a little late to the event I quickly joined in a helped out . Venturing off to find this cache with The Hamfish and LeafotWind with only a short little stroll we were taken to a lovely little walk towards this cache. After a little while searching and a bit of head scratching Leafotwind found this cache. After signing the damp log we quickly headed off to the next cache in our walk. Thanks for the cache and the adventure

A continuation of the walk with buhfuhguh along with his caching partner-in-crime, the hamfish had us initially drift towards the tree and benches at the end of the path. For future finders, don't bother, the co-ords are spot on.
The challenge is in finding the hide which had the three of us drifting through the material at GZ for a good few minutes. After much parting of the material I made the find.
The hide very much reminded me of Quack!! by 4bait in Karkarook Park (GC6N8RX) with a decent amount of determination needed to make the find in both cases.

I didn't even think of this when I went on the hunt for a cache after a trying day at work. How cool. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
After picking up another I made a detour and decided to grab this on along my way and what an awesome surprise when I realized what it was. After signing the log book I replaced it and headed off only to get followed almost all the way back to my car, over 300 meters away, by what I guessed was the Cache Guardian! I beautiful cat, who was soft and friendly. TFTC. Look forward to my next TeamThommo adventure.

Recently I've moved from Tauranga, New Zealand. It was just two months ago that I was here on holiday.
Today was pretty cold and dark but it wasn't raining. My niece and I had a nice walk down here but she refused to get close to GZ. I wasn't sure what I was looking for but noticed something odd so used some natural tools to retrieve it and bingo!
A nice cache here, a bit wet inside but that's what waterproof paper is for!
Just noticed that I've signed 6/7/16 instead of the 5th.
Thanks TeamThommo!

22/05/2016 14:13 7 of 7 today. I had just dropped the wife off for a day of sewing fun and frolics at the nearby centre leaving me free for a few hours and what better way to spend it than caching!
Parked on Meeking Dr. and started the walk through the wetlands. Got to GZ and wondered where it might be but despite my doubts the coords seemed to be spot on and as soon as I saw it I KNEW i was the cache. Luckily a tool was on the ground nearby so I was able to get it back. TFTC TeamThommo TNLN SL

Trickier than I thought it would be. Eventually found the fun cache.retrieving was a bit of a challenge. Luckily the right tools were handy. Thanks for the great cache.

The opportunity to attend a Clean Up Australia Day CITO Event drew us to the Casey - Cardinia area today. Of course it also gave us a chance to seek out some nearby caches.
We loved the theme of this one - definitely a favourite point for a hide to keep the kids interested.
Our thanks to TeamThommo for bringing us to this location.

A nice walk to GZ from where we parked as we watched a maturing cygnet on the water. We split up at GZ and Maccomob had the correct side for a quick find.
Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee, at 1330. We weren't sure what to expect here, and had a pleasant surprise. Again checked the wrong side of the path first, then headed the other way. Quickly spotted the croc, and loved its accessories. Very chic! Our thanks to TeamThommo.
Omg this is the cutest cache so far great hide! Signed and replaces as found thank you!

A not so big day of caching today and some good hides as well.

A finder reports the need for some CO live in this one, I'll pop up shortly to get the fix started
Bumbled around GZ for a couple of minutes until the unlikely find was made Nice sense of humour you have there Team Thommo. Unfortunately the log was wet, and in the process of packing things up to ensure the container was watertight, I broke the cache Notified the CO who will come and fix it soon. I'll give you a favourite point for compensation
Thanks Team Thommo for the cache, the hunt, and quickly getting on top of the maintenance issue.

At pakenham for a birthday lunch and a walk with muggle family who now enjoy geocaching with us. I was a little worried as i have come across other croc themed caches. We all have voted this a favourite. Thanks for the enjoyment and laughs as we found this cache.
After a trip to the city, we stopped at Pakenham for a few quick caches on our way back home to the country.
After reading the description to this cache, our young daughter delighted in seeing hundreds of pretend crocodiles. Made finding the cache so much more special. Lovely place for a walk.
Sorry to Nan of our clan, who wasn't with us today. We had to visit her on the way home to share our exciting caching tales.

We weren't quite sure what we were looking for as we strolled up to gz for this one, but it didn't take Geoturtle37 long to come up with the goods while I was still dancing with the phone coords. What a hoot. Yet another creative hide from Team Thommo. Well done guys, we love your work. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Excellent hide! Very clever. My dog "Edge" and my boys had a great time running up and down the board walks.

This one brought a smile to my dial. Great area around here for walking/riding. TFTC
Found it! Buoyed by my success with 365 day, I decided to find one more. It was almost dark, and not knowing the area, I kept a sharp eye on the geo-map so I didn't end up going the wrong way or ending up in with the crocs. After being startled by a domestic cat on the prowl (Grr! Shouldn't be outside!), I was soon at GZ. I checked one side and then the other.... Ha ha very funny! TFTC SL (which is very wet). And I didn't even get my feet wet!
Wanting to find a cache for the Geocaching Road Trip "Favourites" log, and having Hubby ask if I wanted to find some caches today, this one came up as my closest one to home
We drove the short distance from home to the wetlands and then wandered our way into GZ, I wasn't sure what to expect at GZ, but was delighted with what I found!!!
Very nice little hide Was a tad soggy however.

Caching in the Pakenham area with BernieH. Started with the P.I.G mysteries, and managed a few others before heading off.
This one was find number 37 of 40 for the day.
Not what I was expecting. Seemed to be a similar concept to the last cache we found. It was extremely wet inside. Even though the log might be write in the rain, it's hard to write on wet paper with an ordinary pen.

An early start to a big day chasing the PinkPiggy7 GeoArt with gmj3191 so that I can qualify for my May Monthly Mystery Madness challenge attempt. Having solved all the puzzles over the last week or so now it's time for the physical grabs. And then afterwards was time for a few other interesting local caches.

Beautiful day for a walk, as a lot of people thought. Patiently waited for a couple of openings and success was ours. Log very wet, but able to carefully write on it. Tftc
This type is not that easy without the gps. Searched around the area where the map showed. No croc find for us today.
Rebel Acts and I thought it would be a bit of fun doing the newly published P.I.G series on a Monday night. After completing all the puzzles in the morning we headed this way to start the hunt. We picked up all bar one cache and had a great time. This one we did on our way home. Thanks
Found on another caching adventure with Trailrunning, We headed back down to to do the hard P.I.G series, after picking up a couple of new ones in the area.. Thanks TeamThommo for the cache.
I was in Pakenham but had an unknown time to myself, so what better to do than grab my GPS and look for a few caches in and around. I checked the obvious places but failed to find the cache. Actually followed the GPS, and there it was. I did have a chuckle at the camouflage used for the hide - how appropriate.
My thanks to TeamThommo for the cache.

Found after doing the CITO, a nice street with no muggles about, parked in the shade and ate my lunch before setting off on the "Croc Hunt". Steve Irwin where are you? Found GZ ok after a short walk where we commenced to search. Soon though the fear of monsters left us as we found the croc. Managed to distract it long enough to grab the cache, log it and return it to the folds of the croc.

On a trip that took me through Pakenham to Gembrook and beyond, I stopped now and then to find a cache or two, this was one of them.
When I arrived nearby to this one I thought to myself, I have been here before so I made my way out to where I needed to be.
Once again the GPSr was all over to place and I wasn't sure where I was meant to be, so after looking around the area a bit I finally saw the croc, as soon as I saw it I knew that it would be the cache and it was, I was amused, very good.

Geodaughter has introduced me to caching I am out grabbing a couple wit her today TFTC I especially like this one as its my grandaughters shoe!
Another beautiful spot for a cache. I had been here before and grabbed a multi cache RDMC #16 (GCPGT9) that was archived earlier this year. I remember it well because I gained 10 months of unlovedness on that cache and it was sitting in the middle of surburbia.
This cache was a bit of a doozy. Like others I chose not to believe where my GPSr was pointing too and to go for the obvious spot instead. As I came away from the obvious spot with a confused look on my face I went to where my GPSr was pointing me. Nothing there but some bits of rubbish and a highly unlikely place for a cache. So back to the obvious spots for a better look and I returned with an even MORE confused look on my face and probably an itchy head too.
So I checked back to some old logs and gained a bit of information, which kinda told me where to look, but nothing jumped out at me (Probably good, given the name of the cache). Finally something I had spied much earlier began to look more suspicious and so I checked it out more thoroughly.....The Cache!
Very very clever and a favourite indeed.
Thanks TeamThommo, Geoson and I will call that a day today. Back home for him to have a sleep before all the shenanagins of the New Years festivities tonight.

Thanks TeamThommo, Geoson and I will call that a day today. Back home for him to have a sleep before all the shenanagins of the New Years festivities tonight.
We had a laugh at this one, once the penny dropped. Found on our annual Santa pilgrimage to drop off presents to our children and grandchildren. Well done TeamThommo a favorite from us.

That had me confused for a while as the coordinates had me right next to the lake with no trees except on the other side of the path. But the coordinates did turn out to be correct. Lucky I had a companion that clicked on to it. This one gets a favorite.
