4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

I had an appointment in Gawler this morning before I had to be at work this afternoon.
That left just enough time between the two to park Harry, let Brodie out and go for a walk in the park Cool
Brodie thoroughly enjoyed his wander and I enjoyed finding this cache Smile

What an amazing item at GZ. It's huge and what fun getting there to retrieve the cache.

Recently discovered this wild area, making the most of it before it becomes too tame.

This one was a teicky one, took us 3 goes

These ones were my closest to home and I thought that I should probably take the dog for a walk. So I went to Gosford st. where I happened to live (next to the RSL) when I was a lot younger, parked the car and took off in the right direction.

It is so strange to see a tree on its own little mountain.

Thank you for giving me an excuse to take the dog for a walk.

Thanks for the note JEM, yes Gawler Council have found it while cutting branches and generally clearing all the cover. The cache is still here but rather more exposed than it was. Stealth will be advisable now.

Please be advised that two of the caches in this series are temporarily disabled. Wild Place Up and Wild Place Down are accessible but should be treated as stand alone caches for the time being.

25-Apr-15
Found this not a problem. My only concern is Gawler Council are working in this large area and have found your cache and was nice enough to leave you a message or sign log for you, might want to consider moving cache if work is still continuing. Might want to check any other caches in the area too.

Our fourth go at it, I reckon we have stepped on it that many times. Super hide.

I think I spent longer working out how to get in here that looking for caches.
Third parking spot was a dream and allowed access to all the caches.
First stop a tree on a hill.
Took a bit of lookong but came up a winner.

The last of the traditionals in this series. We ended up slipping Jaffa the geomutt off the leash so we could go cross country more easily to grab this one. We saw some bunnies hopping around soon after, luckily Jaffa didn't as he would have been off like a shot to try and play with them. Yet another cool spot at GZ. Took a little bit of searching around. Mrs TiedyeSmileys picked a spot to pivot around on searching for the cache but with no luck. She then moved on to somewhere else. Mr TiedyeSmileys then had a look where she was and found that she had pivoted right on top of the cache.
Now, with all the info for the final, off we go.

We've been wanting to explore around here, especially since the bridge across the river was put in and finally joined this outpost to the rest of Gawler Razz.
Another challenging spot after a couple inches of rain Surprised. It even took us awhile to reach GZ. Sneaky hide. TNLNSL.
Thanks for another one M&Mob and Dancing Wildflower.

Headed out Gawler way on a mission to turn some green boxes into smilies.
Was more than happy to allow a little mission creep when E-mails arrived announcing a number of new nearby caches.
Used the closest parking, made the easy river crossing and after a short walk and a bit of a scamble, cache was soon in hand. Data photographed and off to the next.
Thanks for the cache M&Mob and Dancing Wildflower
