Reperio 12:12Day 3 of my little escapade down to Albury, and it was up early this morning to tackle some caches along Nail Can before the sunand the snakes were up. Once back to the car, I spent most of the day enjoying some nice roadside caches before turning to head towards Wagga Wagga for the night. It was still pretty hot when I got here, but the walk up was pretty straight forward, and the cache quickly located after visiting the trig. Enjoying visiting this spot.Gratias trigpoint tomAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
I grew up in this area, but it took a geocache many years later to help me discover this beautiful spot and it's viewpoint. It's tragic that places like this aren't better known Thanks for bringing me here
Great view up here. Not the best view Ive seen today but pretty good. We were at Mad Dog Morgans lookout near Walla Walla. Anyway, TFTC. SL at 14:35pm.
After going to lavington metro to refill my lpg gas bottle thought I would stop for this one.

Last day of a midweek Victoria trip. Great caching and lots of driving. Found superb camping spots along the Murray.

Our last day exploring the Albury-Wodonga area & loaded up a few caches to visit before heading home. Great to tick a few off over the border from home. A nice climb from the tank up to the trig point grabbing this cache in between. Tftc
I was wandering around in the reserve grabbing the couple of caches in here before going off to get something to eat, and I continued on from the other one back down the hill to here.
It appears that it has been a long time since I have been here as you could drive around in here back then, but now we have to walk in from the road, that’s not such a bad thing….
Anyway, I wandered up the hill to a spot I haven’t been before and stood there admiring the view of the lake and the snow off into the distance.
With the log signed I checked out the trig, then hoofed it back to the car, letting gravity do its thing.

Neat little walk i had no idea about ! Dropped a TB to encourage people to come up here. Tftc
I saw a few trads North of Albury and a few in between. Most of Albury/Wodonga is "Fished out" for me so a couple close by is handy when one needs to get out of the house. It was a case of 4 in a line from north to home.
Lovely stroll from Wackies cache to this one. Cache in good nick. Thanks "J" for placement.

After collecting You Can Lead A Horse To Water? which hadn't been found since 2018, I spotted the Trig Point and thought the cache must be nearby. Reached the Trig Point after a short brisk walk, gz was 60m away so headed in that direction and soon had the prize in hand. TFTC
Found on 22nd May while on a birthday mission to fit in 50 things on the day for geomum. 5 geocaches was on the list. Surprisingly easy find compared to what we are used to! Interesting information re weed control. TFTC.
Oops. Wrote wrong info about this cache. This was still pretty easy and loved the areas and beautiful rocks. Thanks for bringing us here.
Found with Kayak Cachers on long weekend in Albury Wodonga!

Knocking off a few caches that have been on our map for a while and with the Ez boys nagging for a bush walk we decided to grab the couple on here.
Little Ez created his own parkour course through the bush and both got to GZ before Mrs H made it up over the boulders. The joys of the biggest Ez having the app now!
We found a rabbit in a burrow and the boys wanted to take him home, um no thanks!!
We signed the log, took in the view and headed down. Thanks for the cache TT, I’m sure my knees will pay tomorrow.
Cheers.

Awsome day for caching with geomum catnap777 absolutly beautiful scenery took some photos on the mobile phone. Amazing how you drive down the roads often but not realise whats in the bushland on the side of the roads. Thankyou for the cache trigpoint tom. Cache is in great order as well and not hard to find
A pleasant walk up here to find two caches and a trig. Cache and log good. TFTC trigpoint tom.
A perfect spring day for a walk in this bushy Reserve. Found the trig point with no problems and then ventured a little way away to locate the cache. SL at 11.30am TNLN Cache in good condition. #5648 TFTC trigpoint tom
Another early morning rise to make the most of the day caching. It was cold again but that wasn't going to stop us. What a great area for an early morning walk here. The company & views were great and it got some fresh air into the lungs. Cache took a few moments to locate and all was well

Setting out early with DAB and Na'wal to get as much caching in as possible before Na'wal had to leave us to head back home. We picked up many presolved caches including the small "S" series before saying goodbye. Picking up this trad was a bonus as we searched out a solved puzzle and even a GCA trigpoint. The tree cover obscured most views but we still got to get a glimpse of the surrounding paddocks.
Thanks trigpoint tom for the hide.

Another full day of caching planned and yet again I was in the company of Na'wal and The_Tritonz. With a sheet full of solved puzzles to grab, we set off to claim some smiley faces. We had an absolute blast, with plenty of laughs along the way. We were spoilt with magic scenery and some fantastic hides along the way.
A nice walk up here and we were rewarded with great views. TFTC trigpoint tom

This was a great little discovery and loved the walk up here. That trigpoint is huge and had an interesting view. Cache in good condition and loved to scurry over some of the boulders after the cache was found.
Gate was locked as we arrived but it was easy to step over and the signs indicated anyone was allowed in so felt fine heading up to the cache

Hi there trigpoint tom.
We found your cache **"Tom's Trigpoint"** at 1:03:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 18076).
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. This resulted in a fairly large and circuitous route off the main highway between Albury and Gerogery.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We logged 7 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Rescued Trackable:** "baugues ding".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found with SciFiRulz as NickNax2 this hill just keeps going up. what's a trig point anyway. never mind I'll look it up
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. Wandered up here after finding the other cache nearby, got slower and slower as I made my way up the hill. Nice area that we otherwise would not have visited. TFTC
Spectacular spot. Hidden in the fog when I arrived but cleared to reveal the views.
Enjoyed watching the many birds, some wildflowers, various small fungi and signs of other animals that eluded me (lots of echidna diggings and 'nose-prints'!).
Fabulous moss covered rocks, looking like they have green velvet covers.Grabbed 'Don't enter the red zone' too and then spent several hours exploring and wandering. (Though you could quickly get both, if you were in a hurry).
Thanks Trigpoint Tom! Seems a totally legit claim on the trigpoint, and many thanks for enticing me up here ... I've only walked in the lower parts of this reserve in the past.

Found with MummyPenny on our morning walk. The trig and on its rocky outcrop were genuinely awesome when they appeared out of the mist. Thanks trigpoint tom.
Good solid little walk up to the cache but when there - worthwhile. The bush, the wildlife, the domesticlife ie cattle, and the view was great on this beautiful warm autumn afternoon. Thanks trigpoint tom. This brought back memories of an earlier life in geodetic surveying when visits to trig stations was all part of the job.
Its been a while since the two geocaches out here have been found, which is surprising because their really short walks!!
I actually parked in the recommended parking spot for the other nearby cache.... not this one.... but that actually worked really well! It meant I could walk past the big water tank too!
A bit of a climb once I was near GZ but it was very short. The cache was exactly where the last person had left it, nicely hidden and formed into the dirt.
Thanks!

2nd of 3 finds with theredfox & geodaughter. Hell of a walk, geodaughter didn't have appropriate footwear but she pushed on. Found easily. Geodaughter put small swap in, signed & replaced

**# 14350** Found on another winter day for a drive around.
No rain today, plus not many muggles around either.
A good safe hide up here well away from any tracks.
Picked up a coin to move along.

Wow. Great views. Thanks for bringing us (and our exchange student Vy) to a lovely place.
Found while searching for the other caches on a delightfully misty and wet day. The trig was admired and the view wasn't mostly because there was not a view thanks to the low cloud and drizzle. The walk up from the Northern carpark was lovely and the walk back was even better with the discovery of two fairy rings or mushroom circles. This would be a great place to return to and explore on a fine day. The total length of the walk counting exploring the rough rocks and the various fungi was just under an hour. Thanks for placing in a cache well worth exploring, this will be one of my favourites.
TFTC. I had come up this way to attempt the Slide Puzzle. Not having any luck I drove up the hill a bit further on for this cache and two others in the same vicinity. Crossed over the barbed wire without catching anything and headed for the closest cache. Then onto the trigpoint.Finding the hide was easy enough.
Thanks for the fabulous views. I felt I was following BettyBoo and Robmc as they had signed the log earlier in the day than my 3:55pm.

A spare day saw us in Albury, cleaning up a few caches we had passed by before.
Some really nice walks and bike rides on a very mild day.
We approached this one from the north (the other trad in this park), so we got to GZ before we saw the view.
Certainly a view worth admiring though. A bit of low cloud around today, but we could still see right down the valleys.
A nice walk in the park.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 10618. The forecast was for a reasonable day so Robmc and I loaded our bikes and headed over the border to find some long-solved puzzles, do some walks to more remote caches, ride to find a few and then back south of the border to grab a few relatively new ones in Wodonga before heading home.
We continued to this one from The Red Zone and I am so glad it has a T3 rating as we did some huffing and puffing before reaching the top. We visited the Trigpoint and admired the many views from up here, added our names to the log book, dropped in some little envelopes and headed back to the geo-chariot.
Thanks trigpoint tom

Caught up with Slink1 while in Wodonga this weekend for a short run, turned into an adventure with the extended family. Many thanks to trigpoint tom for the cache TNLN SL
In Wodonga this weekend for the State square dance convention, with a little down time we headed out to catch up with family. The girls Allanah & Ava love caching so we went off to collect a few.. While out we found an ice cream or two, their school oh yes Ava had an encounter with an orb spider , loudest squeal I've heard for some time [B)].... spider and Ave probably equally disturbed with the encounter. Despite the incident we had a great time out many thanks to trigpoint tom for the effort and placement of the cache made out marks and moved on,
Wow! Probably not the best day for this one, but what's done is done! Tftc with indianagleeson

Good morning to pick up a few caches before the day got too hot, even though it was already warming up at this time of day.
Don't ever recall seeing the trig on this hill before, only ever visiting the hill closer to the mill until now.
Parked at the suggested coords and made my way to another cache close by before passing the water tank and making my way to Gz.
With the official business done it was off to the trig for a better view of the area. I do enjoy a quiet hilltop with a view.
It was here the itching started, and I have no idea what it was (maybe grass fleas of some sort, it felt very similar to sandflies) but it drove me crazy until I got back to the van and a bit of a wash down, which seemed to ease it a bit but still scratching like mad for a couple hours later.
Itching like mad but found the cache and enjoyed the views.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

Alas my handy pen clip that was attached to my backpack fell off! So after half an hour of walking in the rain with sopping wet shoes found it but could not log it. Shall come back another sunny day to write in the log

Great little spot, fantastic views from the top, even in the fading light on this very cold evening. Stumbled up to the top and managed to find the cache with very little daylight left. Thanks for the cache.
After such an average weekend were the rain barely seemed to stop for more than five minutes we noticed some blue skies and decided to make the most of them and get out of the house for a short time.
We came via the other nearby cache first and then came to this one past the water tank and up the rocky hill. The container was found well covered at GZ before we went on to admire the view from the trig point.
There seems to be a few more tracks in this reserve worth exploring, unfortunately it was already getting dark as we left the trig so will defiantly have to return again,.

We were in the area doing some maintenance on our cache when we realised there were caches near by we had not found yet. We had been to this spot a couple of times. We were happy to see a gate at the start of the track to keep the 4wd's and bikes out.
We made the walk to GZ admiring the rock formations. The views are amazing up here at the trig point. Mr V had thongs on and Mrs V had sandals on so with a large stick in hand Mrs V headed over to the cache location. Mr V was busy taking photos of the view. Like what was a stick going to do? It is not like we would use it against a snake if we saw one.
The stick was used to look for the cache just in case a spider was laying in wait. Yes one of us has unrealistic phobias. The cache was found and placed back.
This is such a beautiful spot for a cache with amazing views. We enjoyed the peaceful walk along the track. Thanks TT for a great cache find.

3602. Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1600. We had been for a drive here when we were trying out the new 4x4 back in June so had a bit of an idea of where. Mrs wanted to drive the old Gerogery road so we were almost there. Parked and made the walk to some great vistas out to the southeast of the dam. SL Tnx trigpoint tom
Went for this one after finding another close by. Didn't see the track so I went the direct route, but prize was found quickly it was well hidden and dry. Then on too the trig point for the compulsory photo's of a great view. TFTC
found on a wet cold day with a lot of cloud so not much of a view. will be back on a clear day for the other cache. tftc.
Another great find, would never have found this picturesque spot without your cache trigpoint tom
Some of the clan were here for a orienteering event last Sunday. The next day a cache is published right here! Oh well, came back today for a visit with all of us. This area has a lot more traffic now than previous visits. Did a bit of a drive around while here. TFTC.
What a great spot to get out an see the view. Enjoyed the sun on a very cold winters day.
Yeah first to find! Was having a lovely lunch with my geo hubby when received the notification about this new cache. We immediately decided we'd go after lunch and try and beat Wackyweedos who messaged us two mins after!
Ok so I might have had a slight panic attack when this one was published as it is super close to one we have ready to go! Was at work when the notification came through so knew TheClazzas would be all over it before I knocked off work! Clock ticked over & it was time to check out how close it was to our soon to be released… I parked the car, grabbed both phones which were as good as flat, forgot a pen (didn’t realise til half way) and headed in to the familiar reserve in search of the trig. Wandered through the recently burnt patch of Coolatai grass (noxious weed) that crown lands are trialling some new control techniques on and the trig was soon in sight. Had enough battery on the phone to get the general direction before it died. Located the cache & had to giggle when I opened the notebook as TheClazzas signed the wrong end of the log in their haste to claim FTF . SL & returned to the hide before wandering over to the trig to admire the spectacular views – this beats vision splendid! Thanks for sharing your find TT . Now back to the car before the sun sets!
