I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Clearster
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Still stumped! This time I brought TwigNZ along, and we still didn't find it. Putting a watch on this cache, because maybe it is still there...
I'm almost up to 3 figures in my daily streak, which whilst no great feat for most is something I never thought I'd get close to. But I still need a cache for today and the Seagnoid told me he needed two and maybe we could have a crack at this previous DNF of his?
Getting to GZ was just the start of half an hour of fruitless searching. We are 95% sure we were in the right place. I hate to cast aspersions, but for the last finder from almost 2 years ago, this was their one and only cache. I wonder if they removed it through simple ignorance?
This could do with being checked by the CO, or otherwise being archived if the CO is no longer active which I suspect may be the case.

Yep, I'm stumped. Spent a while here but could not find anything that matches the hint. Maybe more trees have been chopped. I got to GZ okay, and hunted all over. No cache found. hopefully it is still here.
Went for a lively walk with the family, and was looking around the tops of the trees, and look what we found!
Final one for today, after a crazy bush walk with a bike! Nice to tick this one off. TFTC
An excuse for a breather on the way up the hill to do a second circuit on the ACoIaF series A quick find All in good nick here TFTC
Off on a day hike in Gollam Stream, this was the way to our starting point. Nice to have an excuse to stop! TFTC
They are right - it’s the odd one out. Small pot cylinder - in between logs.
Final cache of our loop walk today and didn't take too long to find and no need to go too far from the track.
Description of the area seems to have changed with trees being cut down. Reading through previous finds definitely helped!
The climb up here was somewhat harder work than I would have liked due almost entirely to the heat and little shade. The cache was found quickly based entirely on the title and the coords. I've just looked at the hint now and I'm not sure how it would have helped. TFTC. Could use a few more to break up the climb!
Found it on an overcast morning. The recent previous finds really helped - thanks!
I parked a lot further away from the cache site than I needed to but I enjoyed the hike on what turned out to be a pleasant evening after a not very nice day in terms of weather. I was aware the hint no longer applied and there seemed to be a lot of potential hiding places when I first arrived at ground zero. However, a closer look revealed not many good looking sites and I was actually quite confident I was going to find the cache where I did; I just had to lift off the covering item.
This took a while to hunt out but hunt it I did. Looking at previous logs I see that the cache has wandered around a bit over time and rather as to it's adventures I left it as I found it, despite it not being hidden actually beside a stump. So if you're looking you might do well to go for fallen logs, of which there are also numerous. Love the track though and did the whole loop up to the ridge and around. So TFTC, cheers!
An enjoyable walk up to this one and some lovely views along the way. Didn't take too long to locate the cache once we arrived at GZ. It was good to see the culling of the pine trees although quite a few more to go.
Many thanks Clearster for an enjoyable visit to this spot.

It took a while, after such a steep climb but we found it. Relaxed for a while before descending.
My son wanted to be dropped off at Days Bay for a birthday party this afternoon. I decided that since I was in the area I would come up here for a look.
I found the cache container on the ground, out in the open. I signed the log and hid the container. I have no idea where it was in the first place, but I tried to make sense of the hint and put it out of sight right on the coordinates!
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

First find of the year, a real humid day meant I was dripping by the time I reached the cache location. Great views on the way up, tftc!
Phew! This seemed to be a tougher hike up than the one to D @ Days Bay. Got to GZ and started hunting around the most prominent object but without any luck until I revealed the cache almost by accident. Signed the log and then headed back down to grab the other two nearby caches. TFTC
This one almost did stump me, took perseverance and long wide search. Coords were bang on, but rummy hide, and didn't find hint helpful. Approve of the exotics being replaced by natives! TFTC
Cache #4 for the day, our 6th overall. Puffed after the walk and needed a sit down but the view is lovely. Thanks for the cache.
Pleasant walk up this track, it's been a while since I've been up this way. *TFTC Clearster, #9021*
Clever little hiding spot on a great track. Finding all the caches around the Days Bay Area today, thanks!
A straightforward find while visiting Days Bay.
Thank you Clearster for this cache.

#1901. This is an example of why one needs to read the description fully every time you visit a cache. After a slog uphill on a stinking hot summers day, I reached the GZ. The sun was beating down but I foolishly wandered around for a good ten minutes searching all the likely spots a cache could be hidden. Finally stopped in the shade to read the description. Oh that changes things. Searched in a new area and had the cache in hand in seconds. Had seen that spot earlier but dismissed it as unlikely hide. Signed the log book and replaced everything as found. Thanks for cache and the enjoyable bush walk.
Found it. Also found another one at the beginning of the track, probably your original one. We put the two together, all snugly, maybe you'll end up with the first lot of geocache-lings.
Previous search had us stumped but with the maintenance check we headed off with renewed confidence. A nice hide. TFTC
Had a look for this one a couple of weeks ago with no luck. Added to my Watch-List and was somewhat heartened to see the CO's maintenance note as it suggested TregearP and I weren't completely hopeless.
Went back today and a quick find of the new cache and logbook. All in perfect order, TFTC.

Went up this morning and couldn't find the cache. Went back up with a replacement at midday. Please be sure to firmly close the cache.
Stumped is right. Running low on light and supplies so had to abandon this one for now.
A Saturday jaunt down the eastern bays, picking up unfounds as we go.
Enjoyed the views as we went to and from the cache site. A bit of huff and puff involved but nothing too serious.
Straightforward find; cache in order (although the tape wrapping has certainly come adrift), log signed and safely re-hidden.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

A great disguise. Found by Junior Spider-Bite after the rest of us were stumped. TFTC
Nice quick find while out with Just-Lookin & Princess Emily.
Enjoyed the tour around the area - good walk up and fun hide!

Nice sunny day collecting a few of the local caches with Princess-Emily & tmann421.
We enjoyed the walk up and after a team effort on the search we soon had that log signed. TFTC

Find #2106. Huffed and puffed my way uphill ahead of a family. Hoped to arrive at gz with time to search before they arrived. I needn't have worried, they were way slow in fact I thought they must have turned back. Looked at a few bits and pieces before spotting the oddity. Spot on coordinates from agcnz. Terrain rating very understated - more like 3.5 than 1.5. SL TFTC
Careful reading and following of the description on the cache page led to an instant find. Good hide which we enjoyed as we did the walk up though I would suggest the Terrain rating is a little understated! TFTC
Tricky. Our GPS on phone was jumping around so couldn't get an exact location.
Clues really helped. Awesome container so a favourite point from us!

Distance from original: 99.1 feet or 30.2 meters.
Coordinates should be right now. Thanks for the new ones agcnz.

Cache # 1,992 - easy stroll up to the GZ, and then a significant amount of time searching. Re-read logs and cache description. Used agcnz's coordinates (spot on, btw) and still couldn't come up with what I thought the cache would look like. Decided to make my fourth sweep of the area looking for something a bit different. Found it quickly, and really marveled at the container. Well done - I have seen one quite like this before. All in good shape. Signed log and returned to its clever hiding spot. Well worth a favourite point, although suggest the CO update the coordinates to the right ones - this is hard enough without leading people astray! TFTC!
Second attempt at this one, it's a little more challenging than most. This time a decent amount of rain had flushed away some covering debris and I spotted the hide instantly as I walked towards it. Dunno why I didn't spot it the first time, it just wasn't my day. The original coordinates are 25-30 metres out and even the two sets of coordinates provided by previous finders were consistently putting me about 8 - 10 metres away and further from the path than the cache actually is. Searchers may like to try the ones I'm giving here, they're taken with a very new Garmin dual-satellite (GPS/GLONASS) GPSr with 17 satellites in view and a displayed estimated accuracy of 3 metres. YMMV but it's definitely the right distance from the path on my topo map here. Signed log, TFTC.
#5681. We were stumped initially, before re-reading the cache description carefully. Great views today, despite the weather. Great hide. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Tricky, tricky, tricky! These hills knacker me (so unfit!), so by the time I got to the 'corner' I was ready for a rest. After a drink and a sit down I started heading for the exact GZ. After a bit of slipping and sliding down a steep-ish off-track hill, and no cache, I decided to recheck the listing. With a terrain of 1.5, this definitely could not be the location. Then I read some of the other logs and headed back up to the other coordinates provided. After looking around for a few minutes with no joy, I had an I wonder??? moment. Eureka. I will sleep well tonight. TFTC.
Plenty of stumps, trees and corners on this track so as we passed the GZ I said "should look something like that but we are not there yet". One hundred uphill meters later I realized the track was not going to zigzag that way.
I quite like the concept of this camo unfortunately most people pull out the whole container rather than just take off the cap. Then it does not get put back correctly. Hence when I looked in the right place the extra covering hid the cache. This gives the wife the chance to come along later and say "what's this then?" [B)]

Another quick FTF on a Clearster cache ... this time a joint find with Dr_Bogan.
Lucky cache publication time for us, just before morning tea, so we were able to skive off work for half an hour. Found at 10:22 am, after a quick stride up another track I've never been on before. Bit of huffing and puffing to get to GZ, but weather still holding out.
Nice camo on this hide. Description helped immensely with the find, as co-ords out.
TFTC, and thanks for the FTF opportunity.

2nd, or should that be 3rd finder @ 2.45pm. Like the hide and the container, and would have gladly given it a FP if the coordinates hadn't been 22 metres out when I had the cache in my hand. Use the description and hint, and you will be in the right area, but the cache's hiding place may take longer to locate. TFTC - FDF's are always welcome as I need quite a few of them for the DGSC challenge I'm slowly working on.
Another joint FTF with CaligulaNZ at 1021 this morning! super tricky hide (well i thought so anyway!) and the hint helped get into the right direction!
