Logs
Pretty broken with a ripped up logQuite a good spot, looked almost everywhere except the place
Collected this one whilst we were in Cygnet to get some chores done. Nice quick find and sign TFTC
Love caches hidden in this way! Camoflaged too The lid needs to be replaced and then the contents.
The cache lid has become very hard to open. I suggest bringing a tool to help pry it open. Also log book is almost full
Clever hide! I was looking way too low initially, and after searching a wider area with no joy I returned to my initial search place and spotted it straight away TFTC
Brilliant hide. This was my second attempt at trying to local it’s The log is a little wet but managed to sign it! Thanks for the great hide
What a tranquil spot. Quick find, but log fairly damp. Managed to sign though.
tedious find but similar to saints others so just had to follow my gut on where it would be hid!!
Went for a morning walk while staying Cygnet and found two caches. Took quite a while to find the cache. Well hidden.
Found with Max, Jimmy and Mim friends who live up the street from here.
FP awarded for happy to see this place.

A day was planned in the areas of: Randalls Bay / Eggs and Bacon Bay / Abels Bay / Gardners Bay / Cygnet and Huonville and today was that day, Wednesday the 9th of November 2022.
It being perfect with a temperature in the mid 20's [:x] i wasn't passing it up.
'At Martin's Point' i was initially struggling to find this sneaky hide, into past logs and a wee hint was noted. I shifted my search area then it was spotted and the dry log within was signed at 10:47.
TFTC OldSaint and for showing me a relaxing spot with a view to die for.
Sat myself down on that interesting seat to sign the log, then the log was replaced and i was off to the next hide

We are visiting from Melbourne, down here for the U13 State Hockey Carnival.
As there was a few hours between games, we decided to take a drive to Huonville and return back via the coast.
The fam decided to stay in the car and sent me out to look alone. I checked a few places I thought were obvious but found nothing. So then turned my attention to another area and spotted the little blither.
The logbook is wet but still signable.
Thank you for the cache here OldSaint

Back in Cygnet for a more of a look around today and to find a few more caches.
Loved the little spot here.

Found it great hiding spot, log was too wet to sign and no lid but fun for me and the boys!!
Ps: There is money in it now

Beautiful views and great hiding spot, unfortunately the log was beyond soaked and I couldn’t physically write down my name. Probably best to have the lid face down to avoid water from getting in container.
G'day OldSaint, thanks for bringing me here!
Was in Cygnet purportedly for the market, however its absence was explained by it being held last Easter Monday instead.
Never mind - I was just tagging along anyway - instead I got to nab a couple of caches that have been on my to do list for ages. Bonus!
As we walked towards GZ, I noticed some particular flora, and so pretty much guessed what I'd be looking for.
Yep, was right!
Found with KingSmev.
Thanks for the cache and the walk on this fantastic Autumn's day.
Cheers, EPs.

A nice spot with good views. Cache was found easily before checking out the nearby bench. They spelt my name wrong! TFTC!

This was a great experience in all kinds of ways. Apart from the point being covered in frost and rather icy cold, it was a short walk to a magical little place at the end. The views across the river were picture perfect and the carved seat was an unexpected delight. The information provided, and the seat, made me very interested in the story and I looked it up later at home. Now, for the cache. It took a little time to find and then it was one of those wonderful moments when you think "that looks a bit strange" and there it was! Thanks OldSaint.
A quick find on a rainy day.

In the Cygnet area today so thought we would get a few caches. After a failed attempt 5 years ago (wow has it been that long since we've been here), we found the little blighter. Another beautiful place. TFTC
Today we decided to head from Snug - Cygnet and surrounds to find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A great day out, not too cold, sun out allowed us to enjoy the great outdoors.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This was the first of many beautiful riverside locations i was introduced to on sunday last yet have neglected to log until now..
Sainted upon approach, made the task a great deal quicker and after some graceless nudging most of the logbook was extracted signed and replaced.
Thank you oldsaint for including me on a maintenence run, and for selecting such a tranquil place for a cache.

We had an afternoon drive around the area while staying with friends nearby. It was getting towards the end of the day with only a couple still on our way home.
Took a little searching and headscratching before we finally found the cache.
Thanks OldSaint.

out and about with the Rafas caching today post covid and it's nice to start finding again, today it was a loop around to Cygnet, this was the ninth for the day, attacked GZ too fast and went straight past cache, back tracked and tried another place only to find nothing again and then another thought and wammo there it was. TFTC TNBPLN log dry. nice views.
Thanks for the cache OldSaint. RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I headed out for a day of geocaching down the channel today. We had a great day, which included finding this cache. Another gorgeous spot, and today the reflections were spectacular. An interesting bit of history nearby! Looked in one place unsuccessfully before thinking 'Where would OldSaint hide it?', and then we found it!
It took a bit of time to found this tricky one. After we did not look on the ground we saw the little box.

Tricky to find. I was looking in all the wrong places. Thanks for bringing me to this beautiful spot. Pen probs so photo attached
Found this cache while out for a nice drive with nataliec1234, it took us a little while to find as we were looking in the wrong area but a bit of a rethink and the eagle eyes of nataliec1234 soon had the fresh cache sheet in hand thanks for a fun cache
Today we headed south to Cygnet to have a look at some real estate, and naturally we figured we'd try and pick up at least one cache while in the neighbourhood!
Following on from our property inspection, we headed to the park to let Little Miss Nataliec1234 burn off some energy. As she and Mr Nataliec1234 made the most of the visit to the park, Mrs Nataliec1234 and SonOfSteel (who was tagging along for the day) headed for this cache.
Fortunately it proved to not be too hard to track the cache down, which meant they had plenty of time to take in the lovely views from the GZ. What a lovely spot! Yet another great place that we'd never have found if it wasn't for a cache, so a big thank you for that!

Visited this cache today; replaced the container in which is a new log too

Last one for the night during our stay in Cygnet whilst travelling from Brisbane.
Tin needs to be repaired as lid is missing and only 1 piece of paper. Sorry didn’t have anything to fix it with.

Went through the bush n phone went flat came back the easy way with my friend sen n una dog love qneuchydog
Found without too much trouble, GPS on point. Debated whether to take the high or low road from where we’d parked the car; made the wrong choice but easily rectified. No log, but an earlier cacher had left a sheet of paper which we signed. Thanks for the history lesson!
Nice walk from Burton's Reserve where we are allowed to camp for the Folk Festival. Found after pitching around a bit. Lid missing and no log, so put a piece of paper in for going on with.
Jambed a rock in to hold paper there.

TFTC - looking at photos in activity helped. We weren’t sure about the ground zero clue?
Tassie Trip Day 71 - Today we returned to our treck around the country to see what we could find around the channel island country with a start at gordon and continuing around to Hounville before returning to snug.
Arrived at WP1 and collected the necessary information to proceed to the final and arrived at the GZ to find the cache in good condition and left our mark in the log returning it back to its hiding location.
Thanks OldSaint for showing us the history of the area.

I came down here today the last before we leave Cygnet. It was cold and the wind was blowing a gale, but the sun was peeking through the clouds. I didn’t have high expectations of finding the cache after the two previous DNF’s.
I took some photos had a look at the seat then looked at the GPSr and walked to where it was pointing and I saw the container, minus a lid and log book. I went back to the car and got a log sheet which I put in a zip lock bag, stamped that and put it into the container with a twig to help keep it in.
This one does need a new container with lid to keep the log inside. Hopefully this will last for a while?

BusterDanDan and DiddaAU tried to find it but we were unsuccessful. Muggles sitting at gz.
Wow! Amazing spot!!! Have been living in Cygnet for a few years now, never been here, thanks for taking me here. S_38 spotted it first. TFTC
Out caching with Lekker_Ding. Finally starting to clear the caches around Cygnet after being here regularly for more than a year now. A cool afternoon but beautiful light and such a pretty place. Thanks OldSaint
Found it, great hiding place!
Didn’t sign the log as we couldn’t get it out

Found with the geo-son during a Sunday afternoon peddle around Cygnet. A young couple turned up with a blanket and wine just as we were leaving but caching duties were already completed. Many thanks OldSaint
