Quick stop while driving the coast today for a look, quick leg stretch, and cache. All is well here. Thanks for sharing!
Found - but it was out lying on the ground. Last entry in log was 3/11/18. Not sure whats happened to later entries! Re- hid in what I hope is the right place!
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Our first visit to ACT in that time.Staying a couple of days at Bega showgrounds. Today we bimbled about picking up some caches around Tathra..TFTC dghoffy and elysium_au
GPS is driving us to distraction in this area but we found it! Yay! Awesome hide TFTC
We were Visiting Canberra for the Mighty Mega. A wonderful event! Now headed back to Vic on a round about Kind of way. Many thanks dghoffy for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.
I scrambled far enough up to see the likely location and happily geohubby did the hard work. Gmj3191 and I are having fun exploring the region on our way to the Canberra mega. Thanks for bringing us here.
Find # 8,555 for me on 24 Mar 2024 at 1:34pm. This cache was found on our Canberra Mega adventure. After leaving Melbourne with PamJ in our little caravan, the plan is to stay a couple of nights at Bemm River, then a few more at Pambula before cruising into Canberra. This cache was found as part of this journey. Nicely hidden cache. The climb wasn't too bad, even with 73 years under the hood. The cache was in good condition. Thanks dghoffy, for giving back to the game. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*

Had to wait a while before the coast was clear to find this one. Between the boat owners and people coming to use the toilet its a busy place. TFTC.
Of course its not there Jimmy. These guys make you earn it lol. Thanks for the fun.
From Dr George Mountain to Mount Mogareeka. Missed this one last time I was here. OCW MaxAdventurer. TFTC
Didn't read previous logs, bugger a climb and during the climb was checked out by a muggle before he left.
Wonder what he was thinking when there are loos right there.

On our way back home and taking the scenic route. Nice spot to stop and stretch the legs. I remember coming here a long time ago and catching stacks of prawns, maybe we will come back when it warms up!
Cache was found after the scramble up the hill. All good there

Mr P and Mr 7 made the climb up to the cache in thongs. Cache lid is cracked and log is wet but they still signed it
Another excellent cache found on the way back to Bega from Tathra. I am having a great time out and about with fellow cacher Shufflehop. I scrambled up to the cache, signed the log, and got tangled up in creeper on the way down. I resorted to lowering the center of gravity and coming back down on my backside.
Ocw the Bebes around Tathra. What a beautiful place this is. So many amazing beach spots around here. Tftc

Great spot, it’s not to bad going up but when coming down you slip quite a lot. Definitely a laugh
A quick find, but the lid of the container has seen better days, and contents are damp. No issues going up, but it was a graceless descent. Thanks for the cache dghoffy and elysium_au
Skipped this one. Council is working here and their morning tea van is right in front of the cache. I got soo close. But I am clumpsy on a good day, so nah… not in front of them, plus didn’t want to be seen…
Day 8 and my last day in Bermagui before heading home. Goal today was to complete the SST series (Minus my DNF's), majority left are south around Tathra and Bega plus grab any others along the way.
This tree looks like it could come crashing down at any moment! Quick scurry up to this one.

Sent the geokid up for this one! But then had to climb up anyway! Great hide, TFTC!
Found with Lucky Cricket and Little Cricket a great place to stop. A quick find. Some beautiful geology here. TFTC
There is no need to climb to the top, look for a well worn track and a fallen dead tree, that will guide you to the cache, good luck. Thanks.
A bit of a scramble but eventually found with 4maal at 2:50pm
Thanks dghoffy & Elysium_au

Found with geostrom. She did the bit left bit right... until.. found it suggestion... don't do the longer higher scramble.

Yay! Found one! Sent hubby up the scramble, brand new cache. Furry friend very happy.
My result here seemed to set the scene for most of my caching in the few days we were here. No luck at all. The recent heavy rain might have a bit to do with my failures. That's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it.
Had pretty good search around to no avail, cache blindness, a little damp and slippery, maybe, anyway sometime it just don't happen !! Thanks dghoffy and Elysium-au
Alas, a DNF for me here today. I found a great spot with lots of potential hiding places. I spent quite a bit of time looking through all options. However, this one eluded me, but not for lack of trying. There is only so much time one wants to spend on searching when there are other caches waiting, so after about 30 minutes I opted to try my luck with other potential finds.
Decided to spend the last weekend of the school holidays out and about on the south coast picking up as many geocaches as we could!
Beautiful day in Tathra and surrounds.
Luckily we had some good shoes and after a bit of a scramble we had the cache in hand! Unfortunately we left the pen at the car so couldn’t physically log. Cache in good condition.

Good shoes an advantage. Found it after searching all the obvious places. Pretty much slid our way down. TFTC
Thanks again dghoffy & elysium_au, this was a sneaky hide.
The scramble up the slope was ok, especially if you are wearing apprioprate footware.
Cache and log were in good order.

This was a lovely area to do a bit of caching. The scramble was a little bit of a challenge but worth the effort. TFTC
A very cool scramble to this one. Loving this series!!! Thanks so much for all the caches!
Spending a glorious weekend down the Sapphire Coast as part of the Canberra Invasion. Whilst the invasion meant the chance to catch up with many cachers at events and at different spots (and a delightful excuse to celebrate Lovetherabbitohs 18th birthday), I spent most of the weekend on the hunt with the CGI crew: Fitzy_1965, DarzeeDi, Minniek , K8TYBEE , GLISS!, GSC2000 Lovetherabbitohs, B0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Thanks so much for keeping all the caches alive and making this weekend a possibility! Tftc

Out and about with nibletricecakes and the Goulburn/Canberra crew. Scouting the coastline for treasures... my first big caching weekend! Thank goodness for agile children! TFTC (and trail)
Headed to Wallaga Lake for a bit of an invasion by people from Canberra & Goulburn. A group of us convoyed for most of the long weekend. The group known as CGI (Canberra Goulburn Invasion) consisted of fitzy_1965, darzee di, nibletricecakes, k8tybee, GLISS!, GSC2000 and my geokids Lovetherabbitohs, b0tmun, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Day 2 saw us head towards Tathra with all caches along the way in our sights, most of which was the SST series. All caches were quickly found. We certainly loved the variety.

Sorry for the generic log, some with an added comment - this weekend a few of us from Canberra and Goulburn decided to travel down to Bermagui and do the SST series and some of the other traditionals, camping at Wallaga Lake Big4.
Today was day 2 of our adventure and once again the weather was glorious a little warmer than yesterday, loved the company, lots of laughs and stories making a great day. I just loved the different caches and ability to park safely and enjoy the experience, some a little harder to find than others but found in the end . lovetherabbitohs did the deed to get to cache. We signed logs as team CGI (canberra Goulburn invasion) and we all enjoyed ourselves, we all had a great day and all said how much a fantastic series it was. Tftc dghoffy and elysium_au

With Tankengine we made our way down to this part of the coast, there would be many other canberra cachers out and about in the area as well and on this day two we often cached with many of them. This was an area I have been wanting to come visit for such a long time for the trail of caches and were so lucky to have fabulous weather and such good company for the three days.
The caches are very different and interesting with a mixture of hide types, styles and difficulty to keep things interesting. I just loved this area with all the lakes, inlets and waterways, the coast... spectacular. A beautiful place to visit.
Day two and this cache: Having met up with two other cars full of cachers earlier we continued on wards together for these caches. Tricky, but we scrambled and found.

Sorry hoffys, but this is going to be a generic log, as I have trouble keeping up with the youngsters I cache with, let alone making notes for individual caches. It will however save you reading every log!
Weeks ago it was decided to resurrect the idea of Canberra Invasions. I had not previously been involved in these adventures but enthusiastically signed up and this is our second this year. What a fabulous time we had. The main targets were the Event on Saturday night to celebrate an 18th birthday and the SST series. Both were achieved as well as some extras thrown in for good luck.
Thanks to all the COs for the effort they put in to creating the caches we found, but especially to dghoffy . What an incredible set of caches. I especially loved the names allocated to the caches - wow what great imaginations you have, and this spilled over to the creation of the caches. Well done d! It was wonderful not to have a series of mint tins or sistemas and their placement was great too. Evil at times but so much fun! I especially appreciated the fact that there was always good parking on roads that can be busy - glad it was a winter long weekend not one in summer.
All caches were eventually found, sometimes with a little bit of help - thanks to the COs and GrimRaider and were signed or stamped as Capital Crunchers. Brilliant series so thanks again and it was great to have you share the weekend with us.

Cache 5183 on 9 Jun 2019.
This was a long awaited and planned geocaching mission to the south coast with a few other Canberra cachers. Bobl27, TikvaNZ and I drove down Saturday morning and picked up a few caches on the way to the main goal which was the SST. We picked up 19 caches Saturday getting warmed up for the main day today, Sunday. And such pretty views from so many cache spots.
This cache: a scramble and a good search needed
Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the fun!

I started to tackle the 2.5 terrain but didn’t have the confidence to get to the cache - or I took the terrain 3.5 option in error.
A quick scramble up the hill,
and there was the cache to be found still
Not the most obvious place,
but a good hide in any cache
TFTC and scenic spot [^]

No luck for sjg66 and I, looked while on a quick trip overnight trip to coast. Stayed overnight at Gillards Beach near Tathra, which I can recommend to anyone heading this way.
Maybe don’t attempt this one with flip flops found it after a short search. Forgot our pen so left a googly eye and sent a pic to the owner tftc
What an interestingly shaped tree. We have never seen anything like the root structure of this very distinctive piece of vegetation. Our GPS wanted us in one location but past logs suggested another. So we took the experiences of others and scrambled our way up the slope. We hunted in a few locations and we finally located the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks dghoffy and elysium_au for the cache and the enjoyable series.
