Went to HKC and spent quite a bit of time gathering clues, when we realised it was almost closing time of the museum so we thought we may as well ask them to see if they could give a final hint to lead us to GZ. Turns out they had to move the cache but have been waiting for someone to come find it so they could let them know whats happening, and they didn't know how to get in contact with the cache owners. They've currently got it inaccessible to the public in one of their sheds - the volunteer there was nice enough to show me where it was. I have sent a message to the CO with a picture as proof, hopefully it'll be up and running soon enough!
Marking it as found due to the closeness we got to it - we did also properly find it, in a way
Completed with another ButtPirate!

Not available for not based on current info. May have to lay Henry to rest, but will have someone look into things.
Nice to wander around. Mystery was way to hard for us but we got a big tip from the local historian in the museum. Cache hadn’t been opened for a long time from the looks so tidied it up and added some new treasure. Now to try and back-work the clues so we can learn more about mystery’s.
I had to go to Gosford today to pick up my daughters Christmas present. ( so proud of us for getting organised early this year ). And then had a bit of time spare before heading to work . So I stopped to look for this cache . It was a quick find with accurate co Ords after getting a bit of help with the puzzle from a friend . Thanks for the cache mumma -Kel tnln replaced as found sl

I've watched the unloved days come and go on this cache and it's recently ticked over one year again. I'd actually made a visit back in Feb when the museum was open. Made my donation and received a handy brochure in return. I enjoyed wandering around the grounds, making quick progress on all but one of the items. Returned today and while the museum wasn't open, ran into a similar problem. A PAF soon had me on the right path. After a bit of number crunching, the web covered cache was in hand. Signed the piece of paper added by a recent finder.

Excellent multi cache. Had to recheck numbers as had one incorrect. Then had correct numbers in wrong place. Once sorted the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for bringing me here to this most interesting place.
The cottage is so interesting, will come back when the museum is open and have a look. TFTC
Second attempt at this cache, loved it both times. So many good old things to look at. Fun finding the cache too. TFTC
Did the calcs but realised a mistake so re did it and found within about 15 minutes. We are getting clever with solving mumma kels caches. Did with dlturner. Love the history here
Did this one in about 15 minutes.thats a record for a mummy kel one. No log in cache but left a signed price of paper. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks mummy kel.
Saw the fish visited with a hitch-hiker. Might be 12 odd klms from the Entrance but too close for my comfort to not grab it.
Accompanied ALL7 to Gosford area for a day..

Out with Doc who today on a caching drive. With a previous finder we wondered around the museum until working out gz. Once there made a quick find TFTC
We'd been here before but it was a partuclalry nice, quiet spot to visit in the late afternoon sun today. I had no idea what to expect but a pattern started to form and our result took us to somewhere I'd suspected earlier, but which surprised us nonetheless. I love looking at this sort stuff.
Took the Blue Car TB. Thanks Mumma-Kel.

Found on a day out and down with BillHill531. After finding the first four of the The "No One Is Forcing You To Do This" Series we stopped at the local shops to get some late lunch. We both wanted to find Henry's Wake so did what we could, then stopped by this one as well. After finding something, it clicked and we soon had most of the coordinates. But no paper. We went back to the shops where we parked and retrieved my note book. Then realised we were missing two or three bits of information. So headed back again, worked out the final, found the final (apparently at least one of the volunteers there did not know it existed) then BillHill went back to get a Travel Bug from his car. I have never seen one like this, it was pretty fantastic.
Thanks for the nice wander, history, tidy puzzle and cache!

Found with TOMBI! Very nice cache, left geocoin in place of "Woody Woodpecker" TB. Nice puzzle mystery to find the GZ . TFTC
A quick visit while in Point Clare so that some visitors could meet Henry. Dropped off Blue Car TB for a homestay here before it moves on to greener pastures.
Out doing maintenance on my caches after this week's storms. Cache here is fine and dry. Cache on!
Great traipse through history and I swear we had that gear and sometimes used do do our washing like that when I was a kid on the farm.

I visited the museum about 2 years ago, so I kinda knew what to expect. After walking about it, I was in doubt in one item and tried both answers I got. After some calcs, one was discarded straight away and I had CIH quickly. Great container! I don't have many finds, but I never saw such kind. At the first glance I was in doubt.. Grab it or not? Someone may have forgotten it there.. Well, nothing to lose and I took my chances. Then I was sure it was the one! It would be nice if I had something to swap, but it was last minute decision to go for it. I took the TB 'Trevor's Tuber Tour' (o Batatinha!) for him continue his journey. Thanks Mumma-Kel

Decided that this relatively easy cache with 7 favorites had sat here long enough, so it was time to see what all the fuss was about down at Henry's place. Turns out it was a fairly simple multi style which showed us around a couple of bits of scrap metal. Enjoyable little afternoon overall. Not sure where the 2.5 terrain is all about, methinks 1.5 is more than adequate. And the container was, well, unique? In a spot that matched its oddity. TFTC!!!
The day these caches were published I had just driven past this area 10 minutes prior and when I saw them at home they both confused me a little.
Today teamed up once again with mrnoo17 we stopped by to have a look at these caches. While nothing clicked over at Henry's wake, it quickly became obvious as what was required after a short stroll around the grounds. I have only ever been out the front of the museum, and haven't wandered to check it all out until now. Being a Saturday we had it all to ourselves which made everything less stressful whilst searching for the clues. I was pleasantly surprised at the set up here and it's definitely worth the visit.
After doing the math and double checking our answers we followed the GPS trusting we had the right spot when mrnoo17 made the find. Rather unique container, which could be very awkward to retrieve when there are a lot if people around, but in any case a great enjoyable cache. Thanks for the hunt Mumma kel

Returned today in light rain. The place was deserted, so had the opportunity to take a better look at an area only glanced at yesterday due to muggle activity and came up with the goods...all neatly sorted. Signed the log and replaced. Thanks for placing Mumma-Kel, it's certainly an interesting locale.
This little museum in a very busy street, thankfully there is ample parking in the grounds. With sheet in hand commenced the search for the clues after laying down a few gold coins and quickly ticked everything off the list. Put the numbers together and had a spot a little way off, but then realised one group of numbers was back to front and when corrected Cgeo indicated a spot in the grounds. Had a look around this GZ but nothing popped up that looked promising. This was in a fairly open area. Re-checked the numbers and objects and redid the numbers but ended up in the same spot. Had a quick look in a location that I thought matched the Terrain. Hmmmm? Perhaps the object has been moved, or I was in the wrong spot???? Will return. Nice museum. I'll have to get one of those Kendall's Cocktails from across the road if this keeps up.
Found 6:35 pm with AuroraEve. AuroraEve will have to log this when she has prem membership again. I needed to find my daily geocache for my streak and this morning was written off as I had patrol duties on the beach. During this time I inquired from MummaKel what she was doing in the afternoon. But she was already out geocaching up north but she suggested tackling this one. So early evening AuroraEve and I headed off to try and find this one. I was puzzled by the puzzle but decided have to go and look. Upon arriving I immediately saw what the building reference was about. We set about finding what we had to find but at that stage I still hadn't quite worked out the connection for the last bit. AuroraEve and I sat down and started to try and work out the remaining part when AuroraEve threw two ideas into the air and indeed one of those connected the dots for me so we were then on our way to finding GZ. The GPS behaved a little strange for me when we first tried to get a fix but that may have been due to being under the roof. We soon had the right spot located and since the area was very quiet we had no problem with finding the cache. What a beauty it was too! I think you've way outdone most of the caches I've seen for a long time. I swapped a TB and we also swapped a couple of small items that AuroraEve liked for other items. Thanks for the cache MummaKel and I think the level of puzzleness was just right.
I had a hard time engaging the brain into gear on this one. With numbers, letters, more letters and numbers, I was going cross-eyed. I had the area to myself but was also accosted by the volunteers and had to become a Tutor for GeoCaching101
I came here with school way back in the seventies, and not much has changed to be honest. I was hoping the boat building area would of been cleaned up and renovated since its a huge part of the overall story here.
My first attempt at solving failed with a 5km error as usual really, with a few ways of solving, I chose the wrong way once again.
After flipping some numbers, the hide was found easily, and the container - a new type for myself, I loved it. So many nice neat pigeon holes to sort all the goodies. Left both travel bugs for the next cacher, but grabbed a pathtag I didn't have yet. Signed log with a special TARDIS pic as well.
Another great cache Kel, and gaining permission for placement is a nice effort most won't do. When geocaching takes you into a place of interest, its always so much better.
I have mention also that the cache must only be retrieved in absolute secrecy!

In hindsight, I wish I had done this multi on a day when the museum was open. While it was good to be able to explore the grounds collecting the information I required (once I had figured out the key to the puzzle) without anyone around wondering what I was writing down, I think that the experience would actually have been enhanced by being able to chat with the volunteer staff about Henry and all the historical curiosities on display.
The puzzle itself was pretty straightforward and I was soon able to come up with the final coordinates ... that's when the fun really begins. This would have to be one of the best caches I have come across and I couldn't help smiling at how a container intended for other uses can be so simply adpated for use as a cache. A word of warning though, without giving anything away ... I strongly suggest that anyone looking for this cache should NOT make the actual find if there are muggles wandering around the grounds at the same time!
Well done Mumma-Kel ... naturally it gets a fave point from me. I'm pretty sure I'll be making a return visit sometime soon ... probably with a large coffee from Michel's Patisserie across the road in hand!

Man this was a fun one. I went on Sunday which meant that the cottage was open to the public. I only had 2 dollars in my wallet to pay the entry fee but David who was running it that day said it was okay.
It was awesome, he gave me an awesome tour of the cottage and I learnt so much about the place I call home. I really recommend going when the cottage is open.
He also asked why a 22 year old dude was coming for some Coast history so i told him I was geocaching. I know you shouldn't tell muggles but mumma-kel said the historical society knew the cache had been placed so i figured it would be all good. He had never heard of it before.
Lets just say I would not have solved the puzzle without his help haha. He pointed me in the right direction a couple of times when I was a little stumped. Such a great bloke.
Once I worked out the clues and found the cache he was amazed. He started asking more questions once I had it in hand. I also loved the container and the amount of treasure inside. I added some stuff of my own.
Its funny how the experience can make for an even better find.
Cheers,

What an amazing place! I loved wandering around collecting all the clues, except for the bindii in the lawns - ouch! Glad I don't have to use the two-seater dunny.
What an impressive cache container at GZ too. I've been waiting for some weeks for Daphne's Key to reappear so I could complete Prince In Distress, so that was an extra bonus. A favourite awarded.

We had a nice stroll around the exhibits after paying our small entrance fee and collected any numbers needed. After the calculations a very likely spot was found, but workers were sitting quite close so we returned later, even though they probably know about the cache. The find was made just after the storm had passed and I took a GeoCoin, left 2 TBs. Thanks to Mumma-Kel for a very interesting look at Henry Kendall's old residence and all the machinery and implements gathered by the Historical Society. We really enjoyed our visit.

3:43pm FTF
Last night before going to bed I had a browse of the local geocaches. Knowing I had the day of today I thought it might be a good opportunity to get out and increase my numbers. Laziness got the better of me and I decided a nice quiet day at home would be a better option.
This morning I was trying to work on a new hide of mine that will hopefully be published soon. As I was on the computer I received an alert that this cache had been published. I had a quick read of the info and knowing where I could get all the required information from I rushed out the door and made my way in the heat to start my search.
As I pulled up to the site I was surprised to see that there were people there, a lot of people there. Worried that an event could be on at the site I cautiously walked onto the grounds and did my best tourist impersonations. As I got closer I noticed a tour bus and it became apparent that the museum had opened up especially for this tour.
I went inside the museum and spoke to the two elderly ladies behind the desk. The ladies were very nice and after a few questions one of them recognised what I was doing. The other one had no idea what was going on and found the whole thing quite funny.
After a quick chat I headed out in search of the required information. As soon as I worked out some of the information it all started falling into place. There was one thing that would have taken me about 20 minutes to find and was only spotted after I checked every area at least 4 times.
Once I had all the info I started doing the sums needed. I got an answer, plugged it into my gps, but something wasn't right? Surely Mumma Kel would not be evil enough to hide it there? I re did the sums, still the same answer. I went through the description again and realised I forgot include a vital key. I plugged in the new data and still not looking likely?
Thinking I had made a mistake I checked, rechecked and rechecked my sums. Everything added up correctly but the co-ords just didn't seem right. I walked around the site double checking that all my info was correct. I checked everything 3 times to ensure I hadn't made a simple mistake.
I sat down at the table to do the sums again. I looked at the paper I had been writing on and all my info had disappeared???? I had been using a pen which has a rubber on the end and can be rubbed out. The heat from table had the same effect as the rubber and had erased my writing!!! Panic started to set in and I reached into my bag to find a pencil. I quickly tried to scribble down all the answers that I could just make out. Unfortunately I couldn't get them all and I had to make my way around the get some of the info once again!!
Once I regathered the info needed the co-ords still didn't make sense. I sent a msg to the CO to double check whether or not I was going insane. She later replied realising that there had been a slight mistake made in the original posting. She quickly made the adjustment needed and I finally had an answer that appeared more appropriate. I made my way back to the site and with everyone gone was able to pull out the impressive cache!! What an excellent load of good quality loot in this one!!
Thanks Mumma Kel for bringing me back here (I haven't been here for many years). I really enjoyed doing this one and getting the FTF just tops off an excellent cache!! Fav point well deserved!!
TFTC cheers
