I had been driving past the nearby street/road when I noted this archived cache nearby. I didn't think it looked too onerous to take an attempt at this one, and despite the significant duration since its last find, I had hoped that the lomandra had hidden this cache well from muggles. I prodded and poked around GZ, but given it was quite marshy/swampy nearby, it would not have surprised me if the area floods regularly, and with one of those events, taken the cache container away. A pretty cool location, and just a shame that there is no current cache here to welcome visitors. Thanks anyway Whird for the cache placement.----------This morning, it was an early start to 2024's New Year's Day to see the sunrise at the [Rise and Shine, it's 2024!!](https://coord.info/GCAHABE) event at Wellington Point. After a snorkel/dive/swim, Lota parkrun was attended and 5 km was jogged, and I got even wetter than my swim with a heavy rain downpour and drenching. It was then an opportunity to visit a few geocaches between Capalaba, Birkdale, and back to Wellington Point, before the rain became too much, and home was headed.
I see the CO no longer cares about this cache, else they would have retrieved it when it was archived. Oh well, at least it's still findable for those who care to search.

All my caches will be disabled and archived as I am sick of the either going missing or being destroyed by people that don't care.
This geocache left me a little puzzled by it's name and the location. Having read the cache description I now understand, lol. Even though these flora are a particular enemy to one of our group the cache was located without any incidents today. Many thanks for placing this cache that brought us on this lovely little walk. Cheers and happy caching!
Out and about with geo friends and after reading the hint I wasn't keen on looking for this one around any spiky bush but thankfully someone else found it first.
Thanks Whird for the good cache placement and TFTC

Having my bush stick certainly helped in locating this hide. Fairly quick find. Thanks Whird.
Out with the geokids today to get them out of the house while on school holidays. What better way to get them up and moving than to find a few geocaches..
Nice easy find today.
Thanks for the hunt Whird.

Kind of creepy at night, and GPS decided to start pointing us to pretty much every cluster of close by bushes, but thankfully He-Squirrel found this larger than expected cache (we would call this medium rather than small). Swag was a little sparse. We've left a few tokens in swap for the cheetah.
Find #2262
I've been off work sick yesterday and today but, as I needed a cache for my found dates today, I decided to head out and find this one while getting some lunch.
This has been my closest unfound to home for a while so it's nice to cross it off the list.

Took the boys out this arvo for a drive to Redlands, to check out the CITO launch point for Sunday (can't wait to get on a kayak again ) and to have some lunch by the bay
After parking in wrong street, which we soon remedied,we took a short walk along the path, deviated off the path a little and soon the cache was found, log signed and cache returned to where found.

Found with the tough mothers on our usual Monday run. Very quickly spotted as it was fairly much out in the open. Tftc
We were sitting around and then we decided that we'd go out caching. Just a few drive bys we decided. We went in to grab this one and it turned out harder than we expected. We looked here and there and walked into scary places. I went back to the car to get my walking stick. It didn't seem to help. Then Rick says come look at this. There was a birds nest made out of the spiky grass stuff. It was woven and made into a really cool little covered nest. So cool.
Cache found and log signed.

Another avenged DNF from the hind boys cache blindness (geogirl says: girls rule!).. The area was flooded when they came to visit but we'll ignore that fact and just tell them it was a super easy find
TFTC ! Geogirl found some awesome swag and swapped for an animal rubber

Looked for a fair while to no avail. Seems to have been a fair amount of water through here recently so I am hopeful the cache hasn't washed away. Thanks anyway. Nice spot.
Out for a day of caching with friends, I made this an easy find by thinking of the name but then after the find was told about the pics of the table, oh well still made an easy find. TFTC
Out with RoddyC and Diamonjs to find some caches today.
Love an unloved cache that has not been found for some time such as this one 9 months since last found.
Mrs RoddyC located this one.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Whird All good with this cache

Caching day around Ormiston in the company of DiamonJs and Team Benders In a hot steamy day we gathered in 15 finds and no DNFs.
We were a bit worried about coming to this one as it has 4 DNFs and a Needs Maintenance. We searched around quite a bit before reading the hint, then the cache just showed up. Easy!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 10.05am on 21st December 2016. TFTC

Came at it from the wrong side of the billabong. Counted 7 or 8 likely spots, pointy gizmo didn't show me which one though. Argh there you are!
Unable to find the bush table to complete the paperwork on. Improvised, replaced the dry cache and back to a path...

Found while caching around Redlands with Gunnie69, as we tackled caches around Birkdale and Wellington Point. The main targets were the caches in the 4160 circuit series.
Thanks Whird for the hunt and the cache!

Ghostgums and I spent a bit of time searching on the wrong side of the area and it took a couple of minutes for Ghostgums to locate the container. I was still a few metres away with my head down and bum up...
GG sorted business out and replaced the cache, then we shot through to find the next on the list.
Cheers Whird.

Table? What table? A short walk to GZ for this one. A quick hunt. Check the hint. Hunt some more. Ah there it is.
We were on our way to watch the grandchildren play footy so we stopped to find this on the way.
Finding a cache amongst cutty grass is always difficult.
Thanks for placing this cache Whird

Was looking in the wrong place to start off with but soon got on the right track with a bit of help. TFTC
#4 Very wet around about and underfoot after recent rain. This hide reveals a small piece of bush you wouldn't know was there simply driving by.
After securing Mr_07s favourite 7Eleven coffee and Krispy Kremes, this cache seemed like the perfect opportunity to stop a awhile and enjoy it.....but where's the table?!?!?! [:0]
Found reasonably quickly and in good condition. Plenty of water after a couple of days of rain.
Thanks for the cache, Whird. [8)] svn07

Out and about on a fine Sunday to find a few caches.
Another short walk from where I parked the car to GZ.
Another quick find here. [^]
Finally a container I can place a TB in.

10/10/14 thought I would use my new GPSr to try it out and also thought it might be a little more accurate. But it had me walking in circles and jumping all over the place. So I checked the hint to get me back on track and as I look up there it is staring me in the face. I practically walked past it as I left the path. A quick find once at GZ. TFTC Whird
Back behind the wheel post-surgery and keen to grab a few smilies. Headed in another direction and somehow ended up here.
A lovely stroll into this area and the table was soon spotted. Not really what I had in mind Cache then in hand and replaced. It appears to be growing quite well
On we rolled into the fresh air and sunshine...

We were really expecting something bushy, but we still found the cache location, and I for one was glad that I came out unscathed

Decided to add this one to our list today. We have been a bit slack lately and are enjoying getting back into serious caching again. After parking near the start of this pathway we headed towards GZ. After a bit of a look about we soon had this one in hand and our name added to the log. Love the table. TFTC
Found with Tallen70.
Nice lovely walk, checking out all the birds nests and some native birds. Was a nice quick find. TFTC!

Good cammo! Quick scout around and a few pricks later...Bingo! Nice little spot. Thanks. With beach.bub23 and her geobf. Tallen and geoson.
!!!!tftc!!!!!! Loads of canetoads down here at night!!!! thanks for bringing me here!!!
Checked my nearby caches and saw this new one. Happy to say it was a quick find.
Another day is here and time to make a stop for a cache on the way to work. While there is a number of other nearby caches that I could head after, I have an indication they are a little tricky. So with just a little time this morning before heading to work here I am.
It was a short walk from the nearby road and I soon spotted the Bush Table. One that I am sure I have maybe seen somewhere before, maybe the CO's lounge room. Hmmm but probably not [:p] so I started doing a little checking and was finding nothing, not in the places that I first checked anyway.
I changed my approach after a few wrong checks though and soon spotted something that well kind of looked a little out of place where it was. This soon had the cache in hand. I retrieved the log and soon had my name added in, before replacing the cache and the cover, and heading back to the car. Time to get to work I suppose.

After a short stroll from the other cache nearby where we had eaten our lunch we arrived to find the table.
It didn't take long then to discover the cache.
A lovely stroll on a clear winters day.

Found it at 6.10pm - second time. Can claim first to not find and second to find. Brought geokids and they spotted it straight away.
It's a great cache. Nice to see something this size. Good for travel bugs and swaps. Geokid signed the log and told me I had an epic fail for not finding it last night.
Thanks Whird for the cache. Look forward to the next one.

Last year the Groundspeak challenge for August was to find a cache each day. Many of my August days for a mark in the calendar then but a few were left without find. 7th was one of them, so it was targeted for a find. But, as in life sometimes, plans changed and I was tied up at the home front. Looked like the day in the calendar will remain empty until next year.
Suddenly a few things started to align stars. First there was a burst of notifications of new caches in the area, including this and the neighbouring one. Then a desire to get some things from an independent grocery store in Cleveland. I also had items I could possibly go and check out in stores.
Compute 1 + 2 + 3 and I found myself volunteering to go.
Rolled up on the street, parked, and followed the path until the smartiephone compass was adamant of a diagonal approach. Knowing Whird can build some tricky caches and think outside of the box - hmmm, 'container' actually - the GZ was suspicious: the hide can be in so many places here.
Took a good 360 scan and spotted the table. I wonder if that relates to the hide somehow? Checked the underside, used it as a ladder to check the tree, and circled around.
I had read the hint on my in as part of my "what do we know about this hide" data collection, and it came to mind. Well, it suits the GZ well but how exactly could it relate in this case? This lead me to change the tact slightly and the container was revealed a minute later behind a very traditional cover.
Two hours after publication you'd think someone had already signed the log. In fact, a new cacher had attempted but had to cut the search short. A pristine log sheet waiting for the first name. You beauty! [^]
Log signed at 7:25 pm and on I rolled towards the "sister" cache. TFTC, Whird!

I didn't find this. Was driving past when it was published. Sadly the iPhone torch and high heels didn't work for me. Found the table though. I'm new to geocaching, so often I'm not sure what I'm looking for - but the temptation of a FTF was intoxicating but elusive.
