My final day of caching and sightseeing in Mount Isa with RoddyC, hatzofff, grannysmith1947 (Logs signed as Team4QLD) and joined by Team TBU.Very early start to the day, and after our trip to the lake, it was time for some tree fishing, then random caches on our to-do list in and around town.Apologies for the generic logs, but I very much enjoyed all the caches found. They were in good condition and a credit to the several cache owners who placed them and maintained them for our benefit and enjoyment ?? ??THANK YOU??
TFTC smile 17024 out and about on a lovely day signed and replaced as Team Q4 Snickersallan Hatzofff and RoddyC with TBU Thank you cruzeycoop for placing this cache for our enjoyment
For our busy final day around Mount Isa (RoddyC, hatzofff, Grannysmith1947 and Snickersallan), we continue to sign as Team Q4. Most of the day we aew with Yeam TBU as well Today we journey to the other lake and back after some really early tree fishing, then some clean up of multicaches and trads before dining with the locals to day thank you.Anticlimax! Cheated! It was supposed to be a tree-climb. LOL.Log signed and cache replaced as found on September 28, 2023. TFTC, cruzeycoop
Travelling with RoddyC, snickersallan and grannysmith1947 as Team4Qld.Day 4 in the Mount Isa area to complete some challenges and get some more smiles and caching with TBUs.TFTCache cruzeycoop
Found the cache with TBU1Bikesu - and with Team Q4 which added extra fun. Some caches were easy to get to, some needed bigger efforts, some were quickly found, some took longer .... It was a fun day out. Thanks to all cache owners who put out these caches for our enjoyment.
We were staying for couple of days in Mount Isa to get as many caches as possible - quite successful when we left. We can be very happy with the result! Walks, hikes, bushbashing, drives, stops and goes, big caches, small caches, usual hides, unusual hides, stuck on dirt roads, wrong turns: we had it all. Thanks to all cache owners for keeping us busy and entertained! We saw interesting areas, more suburbs, in other words: we had a ball!Tftc cruzeycoop
Found on a morning run on Duchess Rd. Didn’t have a pen (because of run), and replaced in GZ. Long grass a little scary but no issues in the end! TFTC!
We are going great today finding heaps of smile. Found cache out in the long grass with the lid off. Cleaned cache up and installed the existing log in zip tie bag. Replaced were its look like it should have been. All good here now
Catching up with missed logs from our trip earlier this year.
We spent a couple of nights in Mount Isa enjoying having a look around. The first afternoon and the next morning were taken up doing the bison series after which we headed back to town picking up as many caches as we could.
Today we e decided to clear up a few caches in town and surrounds before heading to Cloncurry for the next stage of our adventure.
We saw some great sights that we would never have seen without geocaching, this is the main reason we still love the game after nearly 20 years of playing.
We followed the needle to gz on this one and the CO will probably start laughing at the next sentence but it took us quite awhile to find this one. It must have just been one of those cases of cache blindness because if the container had teeth we would have a lot of pieces missing but we got there in the end and our name was added tot he log.
Thanks for the cache.

Not sure what the reference is, but it didn't stop me from finding it. Took longer than it should have, I put that down to looking in the dark.
No travelbug at home, looks to have been missing almost 2 years.
