Week 1 we have travelled from Portland to Farrell's Flat near Clare.
Week 2 was Clare to Port Augusta.
Week 3 Port Augusta to Birdsville.
Day 24 and we are in Mt Isa for a couple of days. We decided to head out and find a few caches and Ad Labs in the morning and then spend the afternoon somewhere cool (which was the Riversleigh Exhibition)

Parked close by and slowly walked into G Z. The old plastic cache had been in the sun too long and was bugged. We happily replaced the cache and the log and things for the kids..With out caches the game is over. Tftc
Day 83 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic, after a the JLWEvents in Wudinna SA, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, through to Alice Springs, Uluru, Darwin, Kakadu and Litchfield we continue our journey back south. It is also day 82 of a streak, so we are keeping it rolling, I think my numbers are right because right now I'm not sure, at least gcdotcom does.
Staying in Mt Isa for a few nights and having a day of caching today. Log book very tatty, but GEM_54 tidied it up.

FOUND AT 9:30PM on Saturday night. Not very scary but scrubbashing through spinifex in thongs was not fun. My beekeeper geocoin visited.
On my way to NT via Birdsville Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Grabbing the first caches I can find on the way into town.

***COs- Catching up on my now famous/infamous logging backlog. It started as a series of unfortunate events and went from there... Only seem to manage sporadic bursts so it's been a long haul project for me to catch up. *This tardiness in no way reflects the quality of the hide or the enjoyment of the find. Apologies to COs for the late logs.*****************************************??????????????????????????Taking one of my "little detours" excursions. From Brisbane I went west to Birdsville, then north to Mt Isa and then will head east to the MEGA event in Townsville. This was the first stop in town today. ??????????????????????????Yes, it ended up being the chicken option for two reasons, firstly it was on the way in so may as well do it as I'm not going back this way. Secondly I'm an older solo female and I'm always concious of my safety especially when travelling. People say I'm brave for going to all the places I do on my own,(and getting back!) but I'm really not. It's constant risk assessment all the way as to whether I do something- or not. Can't cache from a shallow grave!????? This is an- or not at night for me. I'd only skimmed the listing so didn't register the bit about the loner, had I read it properly I'd be wondering what you're trying to tell me, has Mick Taylor from Wolf Creek moved here???Missed that so this ol' chook was happy to trot in this arvy and make the find. Didnt see any ghosts or anything else to spook me so all was good here. TFTC??????

Out in the Isa for my nieces 18th. Jobs done now a few hours for caching and loading up the smilies. Out of the car the wind was howling and gave ambiance to the ghostly cache search. Avoiding the spear grass soon at GZ and log was signed. TFTC cruzeycoop

Chicken find with three kids during the day. Ended up pretty scratched, but the 3 year old was the one who found it as he was on my hip.
Chicken Find.
After spending a great 5 weeks going up north then west, it was time to head east then south to get home.
I had planned to do this area 2 years ago but a blown motor put a stop to that between Three Ways and Mt Isa.
As I was just passing through Isa to get to Boulia, I did this one during the day and as I was on my own it might have been a bit spooky to do it at night.
Thanks Cruzeycoop TFTC.

OK I confess - I'm a chicken... mainly because I was walking from town and I'd had a terrible nights sleep. Then I wanted to walk cross country to try for some other caches.
Have spent a bit of time in these hills - not much at night and haven't had any visitations yet - they obviously don't like me.

I disnt have access to a vehicle at night so i had to come find it in the late afternoon. No ghosts but walking through the spinnifex in thongs was scary enough! TN SL TFTC
I'm not sure if some of the paraphernalia laying around there was formally from the cache or a local has shed bandages on the ground after a visit to hospital. Anyways, thankfully I didn't end up having to touch it . TFTC

Back in Mt Isa for the Rodeo we had not attempted any caches on this visit. Today Mr Felix had itchy feet and headed out for a few hours to try and rectify this anomaly.
He managed to find your cache yay!
Picked up a Geocoin here.

While staying at Mount Isa we tackled a few new caches that have been published since our last visit and this was one of then. Well Mrs "T" was not going to do this one in the dark so we did the challenge in the daytime, dodging the spifiex and finally found GZ after a few decoys. loved the theme and enjoyed the hunt. Adding to our faviourites. Left Geocoin.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Went out with Vik of Waz & Vic and I am pleased to say the ladies got the job done and not a chicken in sight. TFTC!
So I have to admit I had wright chicken on the log. I went out last night to this cache me hubby and 2 kids about 9pm after an evening out. We got on the right road found the path and I chickened out after reading the description I freaked my self out. Hubby said for us to stay in car and he would go alone but with things said in description there was no way I was going to let him, so we left and I came back this morning in day light to find the cache. I did see a few ghosts around, yes they are real but they do make you smile. Must say this has defiantly been one of my favourite.
Found with MalDawg while StephLego was helping Nanna. Had fun picking up all the rocks on the short walk to the cache
Grabbing a few caches in the Isa while visiting family. WillPunkey spent most of his time finding rocks and then we spied a few odd things in trees (that were not the cache). Inside the cache we found a TB, it looked like the log had been wet in the past but it is certainly dry now. Thanks Cruzeycoop for another great cache
What a great way to spend Halloween night finding a ghostly golfer! The power was out so we decided to do this cache even the rain pouring down on the way back to the car just added to the excitement
