One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.

I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

spent 30 minutes looking but didn't have any lucky.

09-Jul-17
Spent quite some time searching for this cache. The long grass was a hindrance when I widened my search. After 30 minutes and turning almost every stone available I decided it was a DNF .

06-Jul-17
DNF at 12:36 PM.
We have been here before and know a fair bit about the incident .
This was a needle in the haystack country with the grass so high and from what we learned the co-ords are upto 10 metres out. The D rating doesn't reflect any of that either which makes it hard for travelling cachers to search with gusto. We decided to leave it to cachers that have more patience and have the time to troll through the area. We unfortunately have to keep on going.

Didn't have this cache downloaded, just the coord entered as a waypoint. Unlike someone before me, I didn't keep going back to the car to check extra information. Had up to 4 people searching at one stage but couldn't find it. I was looking for the type of rock that I am used to, so that may have been the problem but Pa certainly turned many rocks in his search. Disappointed but found the other close by so no worries, specially since I mostly came for the history lesson and to pay my respect. Thanks for bringing us here.

Camped just up the road so an early start for us on this one, I don't know how to explain how we spent over an hour looking for this one Red Face. I walked away and downloaded all the previous logs to check there was no further hints to help - still just left within 10 meters of posted co-ords. Still in the paddock nor 15-18 m that we were searching at where others had been searching B4.
So back to get the Garmin to double check the iPhone's accuracy? 2 meters difference so we started another circular search from there, I was just pondering my sanity searching for a fake rock in a field of rocks when Mrs.K called "found it "
Yes it was there - a different fake rock than that we are used toCool.
Signed logsheet 9am and replaced all as found.
Our Garmin showed that the cache was 7 meters from the posted GZ.
1 x TB Visit.

Quick find, GPS took me straight there. Container was open, re-sealed, not too wet.

What a moving place.

I have been trying to head towards Stanthorpe for a week or so now.
But I keep getting led astray by caches appearing in the landscape Razz
This morning I woke up in Narrabri !!
Closest unfound cache ??
Well there were a few in Moree, but that wasn't in the direction of Stanthorpe !!
Ah !! There is a single, unfound (by me) cache at Myall Creek Smile

So this was going to be, fingers crossed, me only cache find of the day.
Gotta keep me finding streak going Razz

I have been too this spot before, so knew all about it Smile
Good to have another visit though.
After a wander around, I turned me attention to finding the cache Razz

There was plenty of three things present.
Mud, Rocks and Long Grass !!
And I'm supposed to find the cache in that lot ? [:o]
I poked around for a goodly half hour ... frustration was growing !! [:(!]
I knew the cache was there to be found though Razz

I widened me search a bit more ... HEY !! That's pretty obvious to me trained eye Razz

The cache was not at GZ, according to my GPS !!
But I can say that it is within 10 metres Smile
So keep looking !!

TFTC and a challenge !! Wink

the evening light was growing darker, the clouds getting really bad, storm brewing big time. but there sis still a cache here!!! Found the cache easily enough with the clue, didn't notice if the gz was out or not according to my gps. signed the log and read some more plaques. there has been a lot of water here recently as the mud was thick and gluey. tftc Ned Kelly 123

On the fifth day of our camping trip, we continued west: Inverell, Bingara, Narrabri, Wee Waa and Pilliga. Every now and then we stopped for a cache.

We walked around the grassy area and checked every thing that came in our way - no luck today. Helga visited the nearby loo, child-warning, "bad" pictures on the walls!!!

After driving out to visit this memorial site, we were disappointed to not to have been able to find this cache, our GPS also had us in the middle of the long grass. If it is in this region maybe the difficult rating should be higher.
Still it was an interesting place to visit.
Thanks for the hunt Ned Kelly 123

GPS co-ordinates had me standing in the middle of a paddock full of rocks with waist high thistles. You've got to be kidding.
