Weekend-Trip to Pompeii - Vesuvio - Napoli

Took the chance to visit all this historical and "classical" locations! Nice trip down to southern part of Italy with perfect weather conditions for some hiking and sightseeing!

Bei bestem Frühlingswetter konnten blazek und ich die Ausgrabungsstätte Pompeji erkunden. Natürlich standen auch die Caches vor Ort auf unserer to do. Während ich mit dem Audioguide unterwegs war lief blazek ohne durch die Gassen.
Ein sehr interessanter Ort an dem ich noch länger hätte verweilen können.
Die Caches auf dem Areal runden ein perfektes Touriprogramm ab.

Fantástico atardecer buscando el caché

Wir sind zu Besuch bei Freunden in Sorrento und heute ging es mit den Kindern nach Pompeji. Dabei stand nicht nur die Besichtigung der Stadt mit unserer eigenen Führerin, die uns jede Menge über die Geschichte von Pompeji erzählt hat auf dem Programm, sondern auch der ein oder andere Cache hier sollte gleich mit besucht werden.
Bei bestem Wetter hatten wir hier sehr viel Spaß und das cachen war für die Kinder eine schöne Abwechslung zwischendurch.
Die Location ist hier sehr interessant und hat mir wirklich gut gefallen.

Visitiamo amici a Sorrento e oggi siamo andati a Pompei con i bambini. Il programma includeva non solo un tour della città con la nostra guida, che ci ha raccontato molto sulla storia di Pompei, ma anche una cache o due qui dovrebbero essere visitati. Con il bel tempo ci siamo divertiti molto qui e la memorizzazione nella cache è stata un bel cambiamento per i bambini. La posizione qui è molto interessante e mi è davvero piaciuta.

I have find it easely but I don't have a pencil so

Found it on a Valentine's Day trip with Anna. Had to look for the entrance a while (only one was available), but inside there were no muggles. And the place is really touching. TFTC. TB out and in transit to PL.

Troisième jour du côté de Naples pour nous et aujourd’hui nous avons au programme la découverte de Pompei ainsi que « l’ascension » (140m lol) du Vésuve!!

On attaque le matin par Pompei, une superbe visite qui nous ramène en 79 après J.C! Entre les explications de notre guide et les photos, j’en profite pour faire les deux tradis sur le site!

Pour celle-ci, je m’éclipse du groupe quelques minutes pour venir loguer la précieuse boîte!

Merci Vesuviano pour la pose de cette cache ainsi que toute celle que j’ai logué sur Naples! Heureusement que tu es là pour garnir la ville de petites boîtes car il n’y a pas beaucoup de poseurs dans le coin!

Terzo giorno sul lato di Napoli per noi e oggi abbiamo in programma la scoperta di Pompei e la "salita" (140m lol) del Vesuvio !!

Attacchiamo al mattino da Pompei, una superba visita che ci riporta al 79 dc! Tra le spiegazioni della nostra guida e le foto, colgo l'occasione per fare entrambi i tradis sul sito!

Per questo, sparisco dal gruppo qualche minuto per venire a registrare la preziosa scatola!

Grazie Vesuviano per l'installazione di questa cache e tutto ciò che ho registrato su Napoli! Fortunatamente sei qui per riempire la città di piccole scatole perché non ci sono molti posatori nella zona!

Tijdens een prachtige dagvpm de site van pompei deze kunnen loggen.

The first in Pompeii!! I turned my students loose to explore so I could find the caches!

We found it in a room in grand theater. We looked under every stone until we found it! Very nice activity in Italy Pompeii!

By the way there was no more place to write our signature on.

We were with a tour group but I ducked away while everyone was listening to the guide down below and headed up the stairs to check on this cache. It was dark in the rooms here and I turned on the light on my torch to locate the cache.

Finaly I got to a 100!it only took forever but how cool that i got to there in Pompeii!This was however the only one i found there.

Found with the group of great Czech friends and geocachers - Vepepek, Hauskaa, Opi_CZ, Lugia010719d1 and Piri<3 - during our trip to the Italian Peninsul. Our targeted destionations were San Marino, Napoli, Pompei and Vesuvio and Civita di Bagnoregio.

We found many interesting gaochaches… and this was one of them.

Hiking in Pompei was wonderful, weather just fine, only slightly rainy.-) I was happy that we had enough time to spend it here for geocaching!

Nezapomenutelný zážitek z Pompejí, dekuji za prima keš.

Today we visited the ruins of pompeii. We found it really impressive to walk through all the ruins. How nice to find out there are caches hidden in here. We found four off them (we didn’t do the multi). This was the second one, the theater is beautifull! The log needs to be changed it, is very full.

More than a week trip to Italy, and by the way collecting a few boxes with special emphasis on passing all countries along the way, namely Austria, San Marino, Vatican City, Germany and Italy were already counted, our plan was 100% successful, we met a few other geocachers, thank you for preparing all the boxes tftc

#11415: First find of my European trip! I did a 7-day cruise from Barcelona and the first shore excursion took me here. The tour guide was doing a quick talk on the theater so i ran upstairs to make the quick grab, with no one the wiser. Great hide and location! I definitely want to come back to Pompeii for a longer visit.
