Out with the grandkids for a walk along the wind farms. No one around today at all or ever I would guess. Thanks for bringing us to an area that we have not been before. It should be here you would think but we gave up after 20 mins. The blackberries won. I have the scratches to prove it. We may be back??
Another easy find along the track. Talk about creating an incentive for a beautiful walk. Thanks for bringing me here, Leesa.
Thought we'd come down and find some cache in Wonthaggi... a road trip during school holidays.. The weather was beautiful in the morning and did get overcast and it rained just as we got back from Baxter/Williamson's caches.. Perfect timing... Found a few more around Wonthaggi and a few DNF before we headed back home.
Found another one.
Found another one.
Startled a horse with girl riding along track from last cache. Girl thrown but landed safely. Swapped a bit of swag and signed log. Enjoying the walk.
Found @ 15:05
On a caching run in the area after attending the Wonthaggi New Years event. An enjoyable walk to this one on a lovely sunny afternoon! Loved the cache container

Wandering along Williamsons, in the good company of Alansee and maccamob, it was interesting to be up close and personal with the turbines as we enjoyed the variety of themed hides along the way.
Our thanks to Gonefishen07 for bringing us to this location.

Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee and phetlern, at 1545. This one was spotted soon after reaching GZ, and was an easy retrieval. Our thanks to Gonefishen07.
Found in the company of Maccamob and Phetlern. A rather easy find although it appears that people for some reason look for something much harder here.
I was so thirsty by this point that the toilet water was starting to look appealing! But I held off.
We were searching in all the likely hidey holes and not having much luck when omegaman eventually found the cache, exactly as per the hint. It was rather exposed but since it was exactly as per the cache page we returned it as we found it. Cute container!!

Jacko83 and I decided we would cache up together and hit Wonthaggi and grab some decent D/T rated caches and get me out of the house for a day after having some minor surgery and being housebound and unable to drive for a few more weeks , so started the day early from my place and upon his arrival he had Pacman with him to join in the fun. Car packed the amazing Bentley the geo crazy mad extremely energetic geo dog loaded and we were ready to find some great caches :
Hitting the dunes times......We all cursed the winds but loved the views and the geo Bentley dog went nuts around the whole area.....We could not praise the CO enough on the effort put into the cache containers the challenges and the hides....The history and the novelty was nothing less than TOP QUALITY CACHES .....Some cruel , some easy but most amazed us.....
AWESOME ....
Thanks for the caches !!!

This was a great day of caching around the Wonthaggi beaches and sand dunes with Jacko83, geomutt Bentley and 88Andy88. A scenic area, a cool day, creative caches, great hikes - altogether a top caching experience here.
After climbing some dunes we hiked a loop here, walking towards the wind turbines along the trail and then back to the car along the beach.
Why am I starting to feel hungry here ?
Thanks for all the top quality caches we were able to experience today, Gonefishen07 .

In the cool of the late afternoon, we decided to walk the trail to the south of the wind turbines and look for the caches in the area. It was a very pleasant walk with a good quality grassed track and very attractive vegetation, in particular the "avenues" of native flora. Despite accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes to locate this novelty cache container. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.
On a road trip while over for the Melbourne Mega.
Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

Found it! Another great find for the afternoon. I spotted this one! Didn't take anything but left a little furry friend. TFTC!
With spot on coords this was a nice quick find. I really should read the cache names a little more carefully as I was expecting to find a shark here.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for all the fun we had today finding your caches

With SkiPair and wandering a great trail for geo-whippersnappers when this monster jumped out at us. TNLN and logged the monster! Hope it is ok. Onwards we went.
Heading to an obvious spot for a hide when Mr Ski behind me called out 'here it is!'
He had to open it twice to put back the pen he pinched!
TFTC TNLN eventually!

After climbing 8 sand dunes in the morning I rang leesa to see what she was up to and she said she was going on a maintenance run to replace a cache and check on some others, so we decided to go together as I hadn't found the ones she was going to look at. We dropped one car behind the Desal plant and then drove to the Williamson beach car park and started the trail we talked, laughed and I found caches as we went.
Thanks Gonefishen for the caches

On approach to gz we can't help but wonder what creation we will find next. This one brought back some childhood memories. Thanks for another fun cache.
Drove to Wonthaggi, to pick up a few more caches on the local walk trails.
Parked close by, and took a short walk in this nice area.
Enjoyed listening to the amazing sound of the wind turbine.
All the caches were cleverly made, and a pleasure to find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Gonefishen07, for us and others to find.

Found at 12:45 PM GAFF1 in the company of Geoge. End of the caches along this track for us. We enjoyed the walk and the variety of hides. Now to work ourselves up for the difficult sand dune ones
Thanks Gonefishen07.
Thanks Gonefishen07.

Today was a beautiful day for caching, and just happened to be my prearranged day for caching with Biggles Bear. Once more, a quick find, along a lovely walking track.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for the cache.

Found 4:00:00 PM, in the company of Muzza during our regular monthly caching expedition.
TNLN, thanks Gonefishen07.
TNLN, thanks Gonefishen07.
Got dragged around by Slink1 again today - not feeling my best but what's a cacher to do. Slink is hobbling around with his dodgy knee, so the pair of us were not really on our best form. TNLN SL
Dragged the unwell Dunko out again today, Dunko with his horrible cold, red faced, sneezing and me hobbling with my bung Knee, which is slowly on the mend needed to do some light walking. Big thanks to Gonefishen07 for the caching adventure today. SL
Found @ 5:35pm, find # 3512.
Out on another caching run, this time on a Saturday with biggles1024.
The main purpose for this run was to pick up a letterbox cache, a D/T and find a night cache, everything else was a bonus.
The next goal cache was along this trail in amongst these other ones, so we started at the start and made our way to the end.
This was the first of 3 with a similar type of cache container, at GZ the cache was found quickly.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for placing this cache.

Find #1456
Out for a caching run with Stemicmitsar on Saturday instead of our usual Friday night run. We headed to Wonthaggi to grab a Letterbox and also add to our D/T ratings.
We found ourselves guessing what form the hides would take using the cache names as a guide as we proceeded along this trail. I think we both guessed correctly with this one.

Just 150 caches to find to reach our 2000. We are aiming to achieve this by the end of October which will be the end of our second geocaching year. Thanks for all your help Gonefishen. This one found quickly in good condition.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for another fun day full of laughs hiding caches. Walking along the trail I was watching the GPS and GF07 was on her phone we got to this spot and I yelled out STOP and GF07 s**t herself thinking there was a snake and I was bent over laughing at her and said we can find a spot to hide the next cache now we are far enough away from the other one. She almost killed me there and then[xx(]. That is just pay back for all the times she throws fake huntsmans at me.
Did this nice walk this morning with Tassie expat. Thanks Gonefishen for placing all of these caches.
Blood sugar was dropping but no relief to be found here. Nearlly to the turbines.
Joint {*FTF*} with Archie B1 & B2. The Banana and I continued along the track and he had this one in hand quite quickly. As we walked I discovered that the Banana, who is not from this area, had got lost and that is why he had come across country through the paddock. I was still feeling fine and decided to move to the next cache and sign another for the day. Joint *FTF* [*FTF*]

If the bananas were to eat this many gummy monsters they would be the size of pumpkins.
The container is huge, new and empty with no evidence of the original container.
The sweet smell just produced calories.
Bet Gonefishen07 is due for a bit of exercise.
