Had only a brief look since others hadn’t found it recently. The fence does look lovely and new so perhaps it has gone with the fence.
I’m only in SA for a couple of days. I’d arranged to meet a friend at Glenelg but I arrived early and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to pickup a geocache while I was here. I was so disappointed that this was a DNF.
I’ve had a fantastic day with lots of finds but alas, this one was a DNF.
I don’t think the cache was left behind when the new fence went in
Maybe next time.

Following the DNFs and this cache being incorrectly rated, (with the location, a place where GPSs don't work, and that many DNFs, no way is this a 1.5D!), I came, looked at the location and left. My guess is a level up, but as I didn't search the MANY potential hides I only could guess. Didn't want to spend the time for a wrongly rated cache.
A 2nd DNF here for me, however……I feel it’s down to the fence/guard railing having been recently replaced, and not my cache blindness!!
Couldn’t find it wonder if it’s gone? If it was on the fence /rail of the car park it might be gone as the fence looks very new
Found with Aussie M & M.
We were here following an AdLab and virtual so ducked by to make the find.
Apparently the hide is typical for Adelaide. I never would have found it without Mary. Tftc

Easy find thanks to the hints and pictures. Anniversary Celebration at the Stamford. 43 years, aiming for 43 caches in 2 days. 6/43. TFTC
Sadly I need to post a DNF for this one…..coords a little all over the place. Despite a fairly decent look around in obvious spots, I came up empty handed.
I’ll be back

Glenelg holds precious memories for me and Ms Atalanta because we spent some days here during our honeymoon in 1976. It’s the first time we have been back here, and it has changed considerably in that time. This cache was within 100m of the room we stayed in.
It was not an easy find, and one of the photos was a great help.

A very fun little hunt that was rewarding to finally find. Good luck using navigation. We worked off a pic in the activity
Staying at the Stamford so I had to have a crack at this. Took me four tried.before I found it! TFTC
Took a while to find with GPS playing up. Found it with help from past messages.
Went out for some more caches today around the Glenelg, Glenelg North and West Beach area and was joined by Contact Zero, my first time caching with someone else.
The jumpy GPS was an issue to start with... not knowing where to start as a result. Eventually, after a lot of searching in all places high and low, we made the find.
Put both signatures in the log book and returned the cache to its hiding spot.
Thanks to entropyharvester for this cache.

Down for the weekend in the city for a work show, picking up some caches while we are here. This cache is one that was found today.
Couldn’t pass on this one as it was right out the front door of where our accomodation was. Had lots of trouble with our gps under here so resorted to reading logs and expanding the search. Cache was found shortly after, just tucked away from prying eyes. All in good condition here, cheers for the hunt.
Find #3977 on 26 Mar 2022.

Entrophyharvester thanks for the cache. Had me going up and down for a while. Eventually found it with determination. Giving you a favorite point. Down from GC for a few days. First time in Adelaide.
TFTC from Alabama USA. Took me a minute but found with a key hint from previous find. Great way to enjoy my brief time in Adelaide SA
Heading back into Glenelg after my wander along the foreshore and made the small detour towards this cache. Being short in stature was an advantage here as I was able to spot the cache quickly. Waited for a few people to pass and then made the grab. TFTC
After dropping some visitors to the airport we decided to take a trip to glenelg to explore. While lunch was cooking nearby we ducked over here for the find. It had us a bit all over the place, but once found it was in a pretty logical spot. TFTC
This one took us some time due to jumpy GPS, but once we followed the clues, we made the quick find. Tftc
Nice spot for a cache

Found with Bektheraccoon during a late night caching run. Thankfully very few muggles around made this a quick find
Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 9. A Christmas has passed it is time to get out and do some caching before the next family gathering. Today I headed to Glenelg to start some of the Adventure labs in the area, and to do a few of the caches there as well. Plenty of people out on the main street, but I managed the caches I tried.
I tried to make this way more difficult than it needed to be. Eventually I reached a spot that had a cache, and realised I had been on a long journey for nothing.
Thanks for the cache entropyharvester

Finally managed a visit to my head office in Adelaide and timed with a weekend so I could also collect a few caches. New LGA's for me and fav caches were the main caches of focus.
Took a little of this and that to find the cache and was glad when we did.
Thanks to entropyharvester for the placement and fun.

I found myself in Glenelg running an errand for my daughter so took some time for myself to grab a couple of caches.
Plenty of activity around here today so I had to wait for muggles to clear away before going for the find.
Found after a short search.
Thanks for the cache entropyharvester.

Thanks for hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird. Narrowed down the search.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC entropyharvester

A bit sneaky this one, it was. Got it out of its hidey hole eventually. TFTC
I came here 2 years ago but unfortunately there were muggles every where back today and managed to make a quick and easy find
This evening with a night off work I decided to head south towards Glenelg and Marion area to find a few unfound caches in the area to top of a wonderful day of great weather, total of 17 finds for the evening
Thanks for the cache

Sneaky hide indeed, and a fresh coat of paint too.
Nice day our and about at the Bay.
Thanks entropyharvester for the hide.

GPS went a bit haywire with all the concrete, but geosenses kicked in and this was a quick find. TFTC
Just outside our Outside Spirit coach with our fabulous Tour Directors Anne and Chris ( looking on) I found this one. TFTC
Quick find after a Mother’s Day high tea. The sea breeze had turned all the metal rusty
Mr Dromaniax has headed to Adelaide for a couple of days for business and wants to see how many South Australian caches he can add to the tally. This cache was located very close to where I parked to find some Adventure Lab and other caches along the Glenelg foreshore. The area was devoid of any signs of life, so it was a quick search, and soon the cache was in hand to be signed. Returned carefully to its hiding spot and then on to the next cache. The cache is in excellent condition, much better shape than its hiding spot. Thank you for this cache entropyharvester.
