[:(!] After a quick trip to Harrietville to get a couple of caches for the souvenir challenge for August and picking up a couple of caches along the way to this event, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ I bumped into some cachers that I have meet before and made new acquaintances with others, the turnout was awesome and after some chit chat it was time to continue to some more caching before heading home.

I like it Another one of the list TNLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBMH Coruze [^]Fantastic day for caching around Beechworth! Great to see everyone who attended today. A number of interested families couldn't attend (footy finals apparently) but we will keep introducing the kids at BSC to this fun game.

#938 Near on 12 months since joining the geocaching game, we finally attended our first event. The weather was spectacular and it was great to put faces to names of COs of caches we have found and people who have found our cache hides. The geohounds were getting a little impatient at times as we talked for a good 1.5 hours. Great concept and thanks for organising the event BeechworthSC1.
Attended with PapaGrouch, nice to see some people we knew and to meet some others. Glad the order for sunny weather was received today.

A beautiful day for an event. Great to meet some local cachers, both new and old, in age and geocaching experience!! We even managed to get a FTF on the cache published in the area today. Thanks to the BeechworthSC1 for putting on the event and giving us an opportunity to chat about adventures out and about. #2314
Decided to take a drive up and see who I might meet. Great to catch up with some people. TFTE
Always a pleasure to introduce newbies to this great game. We will be there and might even bring another newbie to meet the community.
Something's come up at work. I will no longer be able to attend, and not sure that the rest of the family will be able to make it either. Hope you all have a great day.

Great idea for an event. Would have loved to attend, but we will be in Melbourne that weekend.
