Parked nearby and deduced the info required to sort the GZA short walk, a quick search and the cache was in handAlways handy to have a second pair of eyes to help in the search! All found in good condition. Log signed and cache replaced Many thanx to Pinkpiggy7
Had to walk into bushes no cache in sight if anyone has any better option than google maps to follow cords please let me know
**DNF Avenged!**I had attempted to find this cache almost a month ago, in order to fill a missing calendar date for [ahombug's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6dbc178e-cf55-4705-a97f-435a7b7e6997&ds=2) [WCW - 50% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z58Z)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z58Z). However, after a fairly lengthy search I had to call it quits and [log a DNF](https://www.geocaching.com/live/log/GL1B0TDFV). Well after messaging the very kind [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=393c81b0-fa1e-485d-a293-8bef7ecd2e7e&ds=2), they were kind enough to go [check on the cache's status](https://www.geocaching.com/live/log/GL1B1VAZF) for me and confirm that the cache was indeed still right were they left it.So I waited for another day in which I needed to find a multi cache and had another go. With already having calculated the coordinates for GZ, I was able to bypass solving the multi today and head straight to GZ. As I was walking over, I was flooded back with memories of me searching and searching. I spotted the few beacons I had searched at before for so long on my last trip, however this time my phone told me to keep going. Instead of homing in on last month's beacon it told me to walk another 15 meters. This time my phone homed in on a completely different beacon and the cache!I remembered expanding my search on my last trip and I thought I had checked here, but goes to show you that cache blindness is real! It is caches like this that are quite humbling and goes to show that some days you will find caches quickly and some days you won't find them at all. Well I am glad that I did find this one quickly today, because as I was replacing the cache back into it's hiding spot the rain started. Even though it was a short walk back to the geomobile the rain was coming down so hard that I was almost drenched! However, it was well worth it to be able to avenge this DNF!A big thanks goes to [Pinkpiggy7](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=393c81b0-fa1e-485d-a293-8bef7ecd2e7e&ds=2) for all your help with finding this one. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The sign at the posted coordinates was in good shape and the writing legible. The cache container was in good shape. The contents were nice and dry and the logbook clean with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
I came down to the southeastern suburbs today in order to grab a multi-cache as I needed to find a multi-cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [ahombug's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6dbc178e-cf55-4705-a97f-435a7b7e6997&ds=2) [WCW - 50% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z58Z)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z58Z).Once I arrived at the posted coordinates it seem like a fairly straight forward easy multi. I was able to quickly work out the coordinates for GZ and then I made the short walk up the hill. However, this is where the struggle became. My phone homed into a good size tree that creeped along the ground and looked like it had several good spots to hide a regular size cache. However, after a decently lengthy search, no cache was found.I then expanded my search to some of the other logicals beacons in the area, but still no cache was found. So I went back to the posted coordinates and recalculated GZ.*mmhmm.... same cords...*So I went back to have another look. I then started to get desperate and expanded and expanded my search, but no luck for me today. Not sure if the grass had gotten longer or if I had a bit of cache blindness today, but after a 30-40 minute search I had to call it quits and head to another multi.A big thanks goes to [Pinkpiggy7](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=393c81b0-fa1e-485d-a293-8bef7ecd2e7e&ds=2) anyways as it was a lovely little spot and a beautiful pocket of nature.I will have to come back to give it another go soon!
With the coordinates calculated, we headed up the hill to make the find.
Beaconsfield is such a nice area.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for bringing us here.

Does this cache only get found by those cachers who are on their way to the CO's Christmas Eve Eve Eve Events?
A nice quick find here with GeoSon Lyonspride3.

On the way to the nearby Xmas event with Deepsky24 and this was one of the ones we decided to grab on the way, Deepsky24 did all the hard work and was able to find the cache pretty quickly after we got there. TFTC!!
My goal for the afternoon/evening was to find at least 4 different types of caches. That's what I like about this game, you can create your own fun. With a trad already found, this multi was the second. With the coordinates already figured out prior to arriving and assuming they were correct as they looked good on satellite, we went for a little climb up the hill. Wearing flip flops was not ideal but it wasn't a great distance required to be covered. I thought the cache may have indeed gone missing or I'd stuffed up my numbers which would be embarrassing as the WP1 task required was very simple. I branched out a bit and then saw something promising further up the hill.
A lot of dirt had collected around the cache, the clips a tad loose but all seemed okay otherwise. Thanks for placing this Pinkpiggy.

We had no luck here today. We went back and checked the sign and recalculated but still came up with the same coordinates. We must be blind.
To many people are finding our caches in breach of lockdown provisions, disabling until things are open again.

Out and about today geocaching mostly but dropping into my mum's on the way around to make sure she's OK.
When I found the prize it was evident that it had not been found for some time, saw dust covering the container lid, from the ants. In good condition as well (no fish ).

I'm still on a mission to try a bunch of unfound caches on this side of town so it was time for some early morning caching out this way. Managed to avoid the hottest part of the day and pick up nine finds out here today. After a few finds I headed on to here as the next one on my vague journey east. Stopped on the road near the sign and did my calcs from the comfort of the car. Found a good way to access and after searching a couple of spots I was pleased to have my hands on the cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this multi cache and all your placements in the area Pinkpiggy7.
Stopped at the sign grab the info and did the calcs.
Crazy Geo driver found a way to access the area.
Searched in a couple of spots, Then bingo put our hands on the cache.

Blast. Logging this blue frown from yesterday is like holding my breath. Just temporary. I've walked and scrambled and realigned my self. And found a pile of waste which looks like a camp ground. And an awesome place to hide a hide. Messaged a very tolerant CO, again, and a step in the wrong direction found excrement... I'm done! And outta here! Back asap

There is a bit of a story behind today's caching run. Back in June, I was in Scotland and I signed a challenge cache that required me to find 20 multi caches in a single day. I initially thought I had qualified on a caching run a couple of years back in Geelong, but upon running the checker I discovered I was 4 short. Fast forward to today, quite carefully planned out was November multi Madness day.
Nice little bushland area, certainly my kind of cache. Took a little while to locate this one as gpsr had me all over the place but I got it in the end thanks to my co-pilot.
Many thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for the cache. TNLN.
Big things are continuing to happen! *Are you joining the fun again in 2019?*

We had driven past here ages ago and got the needed details, so today, the others got what was needed and off we went. A short walk and the cache was in hand. Thanks for placing it.
Found at 12:46 pm.
After a weeding CITO and another event this morning it was also earth cache weekend and I was lucky enough to join up with Papi4506 & OzHockeyChick and we headed out to Narre Warren to continue our days adventure. It was fun with each of us getting some caches that either one of both of the others hadn't found and could laugh at each other (I mean help each other) find the caches.
We parked right near WP1 and gathered the clues and off we headed... after making our way back to the car we found a much better hiding place close to the start waypoint without walking up the hill so we moved the cache down there.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

A nice multi in an interesting reserve. Got the info and made the calcs. Approaching GZ, a couple of tents and campers were set up in the trees about 40 metres away. A bit of a search in a few places and then it was sighted. Log signed and all back safe again.

Beautiful morning with lovely fresh air. Puzzle solved. Easy to find and heaps of creepy crawlers and webs everywhere. Cache is in good condition. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for placing the multi
After finally receiving some long awaited rain, we targeted caches that wouldn’t take us too far from the car. First stop, this multi, in a small, untouched reserve. Collected the info, then a short walk to GZ to make the find.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Worked out the coordinates quickly and proceeded further into the bush. Nice large container.
Managed to work out the puzzle without too much trouble. Amazing what you find in the backroads. TFTC

Out and about in the area with tim_amy picking up some local caches. Once we gathered the first bit of information we made some quick calculations and made our way to GZ. Once there is was a short walk and a relatively quick find.

I came previously to collect the evidence. Today came back to find the cache and it was so close.
A quick multi in a little hidden parkland. I had no idea this park was even here. Gathered the clues and did the math in the car. But on arrival at GZ the GPSr was leading me around in circles so I put it away. Seem to be doing this a lot of late. Must be the overcast weather. Now that I was relying on just geo-senses I quickly scanned everything in view for a possible hide. As geo-luck would have it, I spotted something familiar just up ahead of me that turned an orange icon into a yellow smiley. Good sized cache. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
It was quite a climb up the hill to GZ after doing calculations from car. It’s a cold wet late Autumn day and showers interspersed with dry but still cloudy skies made all vegetation wet but not too slippery under foot. I took the TB to continue its journey. Rain started again as I left and noticed all the weeds like bridal creeper and pittosporum on the way back to the car. I did a bit of CITO by pulling out some Bridal Creeper near the cache.
A nice quick find in a pretty rugged parkland area, which would be great once cleared up a little and rubbish removed. left a tb to continue its journey. tftc PinkPiggy7

First multi-cache! Took a while to work out the waypoint function in the app and the gps wasn’t to accurate. But after a while of searching we saw it!
This wasn’t my intended cache today, but life got in the way of my Geocaching plans. (Isn’t life about Geocaching plans?), so I needed to make a quick trip close to home. I’m glad I chose this cache in the end as it took me to a lovely reserve with so nice lights to look at, at night anyway. I stumbled up the hill and found the cache in an obvious spot. You know, after 5 mins of searching, of course it was in an obvious spot, so obvious that I looked there first... maybe not but I found the cache, signed the log and replaced as found. TFTC Pinkpiggy7
Catching up on some logs and remember this being a very straightforward solve, done whilst sitting in the car. A short walk away and the find was made, and name added to the log. Tftc
Quick and easy solve and short stroll to gz. Also found quickly despite the extra camo that months without being found provided. Tftc
This cache will complete the criteria I require for the "Can you Spell March in March". A quick find on way home from visiting family. As usual I overshot the Waypoint with respect to parking and ended up walking further to it than I did to the gz.

Now heading in a round about direction home I stopped by here to hopefully snag a multi cache type. Initially missed the sign with me wondering where is this thing to finally head slap to see that I was standing right next to it. With coords determined headed off to GZ for a quick find and careful extraction. No issues with the cache with it still in great condition. Seeing there was another near by I continue on foot. Nice spot.

Sad.... Wrong day for this one.... We end up cover with spikes and 1000 spider webs.. we might come back in an other time.
Found! 10Dec16 @ 6.40pm; Find #102
Ooh... a multi! Haven't done one of these for a while. It seems every time I start one, I can never seem to finish it. But let's give this one a shot. Looks relatively straight forward!
Sign easily located (although it is starting to get some decent bush scrub in front of it) and calculations made to calculate GZ. Two or three locals that live opposite were mighty curious on why I was taking notes in front of a sign, but quickly lost interest once I got back to my car to work out the calculations.
Okay... seems like a little bit of work to get to GZ, but should be relatively easy. I grabbed my bag, exited my vehicle and off I go.
The grass here is indeed quite long, so be careful for wriggly, slithery snake-like creatures. Treading carefully, I made my way to my best estimation of GZ. Got the GPS down to 2 metres and then had a decent look around. I searched in all of the usual locations, but was coming up empty. Looks like those recent DNFs might be pointing to a lost cache... Hmm... I don't have to be anywhere. Let's give this one a red hot go.
I rechecked my GPS and what do you know? It was now telling me that I was 8 metres away from GZ. But five minutes ago, I was only 2! Grr... Okay. Looks like I might have to do some grid searching. Take a couple of steps, check GPS. Take a couple more steps, check GPS. Let's see if I can narrow the field down.
Hmph. Nothing's working. Looks like there's too much tree cover. What to do? What to do?
Let's re-evaluate. You've just spent an entire day searching for Pinkpiggy7 caches. Where do you think he would hide it? Hmm... What about.... There...?
Success!! After over half an hour of searching, I had it! And it looks like it hasn't had some love for a little bit, as there is a large nasty looking cobweb sitting right over the top of it. Grabbed a stick, poked around a little before carefully removing the cache. Saw a large centipede scuttle off, but no spider (thank goodness!), but I wouldn't be surprised to see it back there soon, so future seekers, please be careful. Especially younger seekers. It really did look like a nasty cobweb.
Log signed (hoorah!) and cache returned as found. Back to the car I go, with a few more mozzie bites, but that's a small price to pay for being able to find a cache after a decent search. Great, great hide!

Found this cache with Leafotwind after being picked up from Monash University as we make our way to the GIFF event in Beaconsfield Upper later in the day. This was the first cache of the day for us and was a quick and easy multi.... so hooray haha. Anyways had no problems with this cache at all took a couple of minutes to find and with hordes of mosquitoes the cache was found . Thanks for the cache and the lovely weather
On the way to the GIFF event kindly hosted by the CO, I picked up buhfuhguh from Monash Uni with the intention of finding at least some of the goodness that is in Upper Beac.
Although the starting co-ords were spot on we found the cache some metres away from our calculated GZ. Having found some of the COs other hides I'm going to put down the discrepancy to faulty satellites or the absolutely huge amount of grass seed blowing around courtesy of reasonably strong winds.

Took the chance to climb the hill while I was here. Often wondered just what was in this patch of bush... Mozzies was the answer today. Tftc
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au. We set out to find the puzzles nearby and as many other caches as possible. Found this at the end of a long day caching. Bit of uphill walking here. I found the cache before the others arrived at Gz. Thanks Pinkpiggy7
GJMMelb
GJMMelb
I'd worked on the P.I.G. puzzles a while ago and recently discovered the Pretzel/Project Pretzel series so spent some time (when I should really have been studying...) cracking these too. I challenged myself to solve them all myself which I did except for one which G' of GJMMelb gave me the solution for (he solved many of them independently) as time was short. Combining these puzzles with a few others in the area and The Slog series a grand plan for a Big Day Out of caching was hatched with a core list of 133 caches to find! Our merry band of cachers - lochb who did the driving and G' of GJMMelb and myself who did the bulk of the brain and legwork - set out early for a full day of mostly drive-by caching. We succeeded in getting 134 finds before light stopped play! This was despite some setbacks: a handful of DNFs (luckily we found other caches to substitute for those we couldn't find), a couple of errors in solutions that we luckily sorted out and still managed finds, an unwelcome flat read tyre and even a couple of "close encounters" with a helicopter - we weren't sure if they were checking us out or not though. A great day of caching that saw all three of us beat our personal best finds in a day
I had previously had a DNF on this one and now I do not know why. Re-using my original information I tried again today and walked stright up to the hide! Go figure.

A couple of years ago (when we first got into geocaching) we tried to find this multicache as it's literally 255m from our house! We searched around with a couple of small kids in toe but we had no luck! We've been meaning to come back and try again for ages (having a new young baby has made it difficult). So at the first sign of nice weather we decided to throw some dinner in the oven and go for a quick walk to try again! I strapped the baby on my front and took the husband and geokids (3 & 6) on an adventure! We located the geocache reasonably quickly and the kids were on cloud 9! A highlighter and a toy car! We made our swaps, signed the log and went home to eat dinner! Thanks for another fun family outing Pinkpiggy!
We kept this cache in reserve for this weekends souvenir, as we are running out of multi's to visit nearby.
Great location, except this place needs a CITO badly. The amount of rubbish that people just dump is just amazing. I recommend PP7 that we extract Team Thommo from her favorite Lakeside area and bring her up here to run a CITO next time. It needs it.

Scoped out this cache for the challenge souvenir and came up for the find today with Stinky Tom and Stinky Bob.
A nice, straight forward multi. A cool area here, would like to come back during summer to see some of the aussie wildlife.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7

great cache pink piggy only problem is i failed to climb the hill and cut my self a few times! i found this one with my crew kmannz and stinky tom. thanks mate for the cache
Haha, I too seem to recall a "sickening rip as I pulled it free from the clutches of some scary webs"! What a curious reserve this is. While pedestrian access is possible, they don't actually seem to actively enable it in any discernible way. Which is kinda cool. This was a fairly swift affair. The coordinates were swiftly assembled. The cache was swiftly spied. The log was swiftly signed. Thanks for luring me into the area, Pinkpiggy7!
Worked this one out a while ago but only had the time today to find.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7

Kept stumbling between the 3 GZ's my phone couldn't decide on and scoured every other tree any where near them. As much as I enjoyed exploring this little bushland area this afternoon unfortunately I couldn't grab that smiley but I did leave with a smile on my face from the fun of the search. Will be back to explore some more another day and hopefully leave next time with a cache find.
After wandering aimlessly for a little while, the cache was soon in my very tentative hand and, thankfully, none of the spiders that were hiding with it came too! Please be warned, as the cache made a sickening rip as I pulled it free from the clutches of some scary webs. TFTC
Geokid 2/2 is at school camp so after dropping of the Geohostage kid at school I had time to take the Geodogs for a walk and find a cache on the way home. The one I was planning to do turned out to be disabled so a quick look at the map and I soon had another target, yay!
Luckily the dogs were able to drag me up the slope and after a bit of to-ing and fro-ing until the GPSr cooperated we soon found the cache. All in great order, log signed and returned and the Geodogs walked around a bit to check out the reserve before the rain got heavier and we retreated to the car, luckily without me falling on my bottom as the dogs dragged me down the slope LOL.
TFTC, a great start to my day

Catching up on a few late logs (something not that unusual for me). As always, I enjoyed the journey to find the cache, mostly I have been in the company of Team Crackers, maccamob, alansee and the Coffee's, but occasionally I have gone out solo to soak in the solitude of being out in the fresh air.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for placing this cache.

Found 12:15:00 PM, in the company of Muyzza during our regular June caching expedition. This month Berwick and environs
TNLN, thanks Pinkpiggy7.

Out today with Biggles Bear, attending the flash mob in Berwick, then grabbing some more in the area. We grabbed the required answers and headed to GZ. We spent a few minutes searching, to the point we wondered whether we'd made a miscalculation. Fortunately, when we expanded the search, the hiding location became obvious.
My thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

This was a good way to explore more of the reserve. With the clues noted down I cam up with a likely set of numbers and it was on to GZ for a quick find of the container. It is good to see bushland reserves like this tucked away in suburbia.
Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

Today we explored Berwick and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
We have been having a lazy 2 weeks camped at Berwick, but today we decided to both head out and tackle some nearby caches to make the map look a bit more smilie near here.
Finally no rain today after the last few wet days, what is it with Victoria and rain in January?
Grabbed the info here quickly but Mrs Felix got a calculation wrong and of course it was the most important one and it compounded into other numbers sending Mr Felix double the distance to his GZ [B)] . A phone call saying hmm can't find it and numbers were checked Returning closer to the car cache was located quickly at the correct GZ.

A nice easy multi cache. The co-ords were grabbed from the road and after a short bush bash in snake infested bushland with my 5 year old son, we found the cache. Thanks Pinkpiggy7, I think.
We found this cache today at 4:30pm as number 20 of 26 on our Narre Berwick Beac Tour. Another nice short multi for the day and anothe park that we have now cached at 3 times but well worth the revisit. Thanks from D & H B-A.
Found this one today. I was after some higher terrain caches today and this one certainly earned its rating today. Wp1 was easy and then I went round in circles literally at wp2 before finally finding the cache. I must have had my cache blindness goggles on at this cache! Signed log.
Thanks for the cache Pinkpiggy7.

Find #1644
I headed out tonight with Stemicmitsar to collect a few caches east of our usual areas. This was to be our third multi of the night. The information needed was gathered quickly, GZ calculated and then off to GZ. It proved to be an easy find because there was no camo at all over the container.

Found @ 9:17pm, find # 3824.
Out and about with biggles1024 to find a few caches tonight, this was one of them.
At the posted coordinates, we quickly gathered up what was needed, it was then a short uphill stroll to GZ where shortly after arriving the out in the open cache was found.

Gand2G's dropped by for a visit so we decided a few local caches would be a good way to pass some time.
We have been looking at this one on the map for awhile now but never seem to get here.
Today we made the effort and after a bit of a mix up at WP1 we were off to GZ, not the best terrain while recovering from surgery but I should have looked at the stars before we left.
Once we made our way to GZ on of the 2G's had the cache in hand before the GPSr had even settled.
We added our names to the log then tried to find an easier way back to the car.
Thanks once more Pinkpiggy7, your caches have helped heaps in my recovery.

Rebel Acts and I spent another enjoyable few hours wandering the eastern and southeastern suburbs looking for plastic containers. With many hills conquered I was able to hang up the boots tonight with 42 finds. A few drinks later and I was fast asleep content with the experience. Thanks. Quick find.
dropped in on the way past, collected the details and on to GZ, a quick find thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the caching fun SL
Not being the brightest light on the hill I find I make to many mistakes with multis but found this one ok. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 FTC.
Thanks for the cache. Found with Mansgirl while out and about near home. Also removed the CITO Tag GS3V4N and some rubbish from the park. Will post up a photo and relocate tag. Signed log.
