Logs
Unfortunately due to part of the cliff falling away, the walkway is blocked both ends so couldn't get to ground zero. Appears that council is working on it, so may come free soon. TFTC
Initially went in the evening to find this one but only found spiders and returned the following morning but still came away with a DNF unfortunately
Our final walk for today and glad to make quick work of this one even it was a cleverly disguised G2 cache.
Was a little surprised that I couldn't sign off this one - I did have 2 goes at seeking it as I passed by on my way to and from All at Sea #3.
We parked nearby and walked out to the wharf to see what we could see. What a well set up wharf. I loved the fish/bait chopping stations and the regulation stickers showing the legal fish sizes. We then wandered back and headed up the hill to gz. I noticed the hint straight away and was pleased to find this cleverly camoed cache quickly. Thanks for another interesting hide
Ha! Got the little bugger! Excellent camouflage would not have found it without the clue

We had previously spent some time searching for this cache, but had left empty handed. After reading some of the recent logs we returned this afternoon for another look. Walked to GZ and immediately put a hand on the cache. Nice to have this walkway cleared out. Thanks.
I decided to go for a walk along the coastal walkway to explore an area I had never been before. The added bonus was that this meant that I could collect some geocaches as well. This was would have been easy if it wasn't for the constant parade of muggles walking past. However once there was a good gap in the traffic, the cache was quickly retrieved. TFTC!
At last, managed to get my hand on it. Really pleased to get it off the list. Tftc
Supernanny told me this cache had been replaced so we stopped by for me to get the smiley on our way up to collect the CO's new caches at Long Bay. I found the co-ords to be about 15m out, thankfully I had no passing muggles but there was a very aggressive barking dog centimetres away on the other side of the fence, so I signed the log as quickly as possible and headed back to the car
So excited to finally get this one !!!!
Have visited here so many times over the years....was prob there all the time !
Just extended my search area....
Excellent camo as usual Glyn !
Very glad to get this smiley face ...
( I do not recommend coming at 9 .30 am to hunt ....Sooooo many walkers and tourists use this walkway...plus dogs for their morning poo walk...
About 30 went past in 5 minutes ! )

Cloudy day and under the trees, we were searching about 15m away. Finally gave up, and as we were walking away something caught my eye! Boom there it was.
After finding Monty's Treble just up the road, I headed down to this cache. Murrays Bay was nice and busy this afternoon with people out enjoying the sun, but it was quieter up on the track. Another quick find, thanks G2 for the replacement cache.
DNF
Not tonight. Probably the cache is still there but we were just too unobservant to find it.

Not a good start to the day, only just light and pretty cold here but I couldn't find this one today.
Our last day on the north shore before heading south again so just a bit of time to go and find a few more caches this afternoon. Now this one took a wee while to find. After consulting some recent logs I widened my search area and spotted something of interest and there was the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Sticking to our promise to revisit once this had been found, back we came. As indicated from the last successful find we broadened our field. Just as kiwiscot declared a find, scottie did like wise, both a good distance from each other. Kiwi was in the middle , who to go to ? Haha , wrong direction, who has the bragging rights.......the obvious winner of course TFTC.
Out and about enjoying a stroll along this cliff top this afternoon. Had a look on the way up to no avail. Retried my luck on the return leg. Resorted to a couple of PAFS, both exactly no help what-so-ever. In the end I spied the hide when I expand the search area significantly. Water is getting into the container but the waterproof log sheet is fine. Cheers for the cache placement!
This definitely found us all at sea. Coming up with a DNF - searched high and low, being caught out by the streams of muggles more times than we care to mention. We know all about G-2s hides so we just need to keep watching and when someone finds it we will be back!
Decided to park near At At Sea 1 down a side road. Boy, is this walkway popular with muggles. They were probably thinking, "Look, there's another cacher just loitering around trying to locate a cache".
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
The day turned out so nice, that we thought a nice evening stroll by the sea was in order. Just lovely out here this evening. This hide had us going for a wee while, until we spotted it. So clever. Gets a fav from us. SL. TFTC.
A sneaky hiding spot difficult to extract especially with a constant stream of muggles going past. The timing had to be perfect.
Nicely placed cache that took a couple of quick looks between muggles but got there in the end. TFTC
A sneaky hide, tricky when trying to search and avoid looking too suspicious especially when you can hardly view anything at All, at Sea. Many thanks for a challenging and nicely camoed cache.
Really feeling refreshed and ready for a days work now. Havening a very pleasant stroll in the morning, might have to do this more often. TFTC
PS. I missed the cache in the middle, somehow didn't see the email of it's publication till later ion day. Pity as I had walked passed it twice.

Having run into slieschke at a cache in the city, he jumped in my car and we headed over here, believing someone would probably have beaten us to these. Got to GZ and had a quick look around and voila, a nicely camo'ed cache and... a blank logbook. nice one. Joint FTF with slieschke - {FTF} #1622 TFTC!!!

Headed up here with funkymunkyzone after what must have been the world's worst run of red lights in the city. A car was parked where we pulled up... was it a cacher? As we headed down the track we saw a headlamped figure at the jetty, however it was a fisherman! Phew. Made our way down the track and after a quick search the cheeky hide was spotted. Opened it up to find a blank log for a joint (FTF) with funkymunkyzone! w00t!
Thanks!
