great hide. cleaver. log full but found a place to leave my mark. looks like may need some maintenance.
Just picking up a few local caches that need to turn yellow. All in good nick and log was soon signed. Liked the camp used here. TFTC.

To complete the final stage of my Night at the Museum challenge, I needed a few more caches. This series on and around Richmond Road has been on my radar for a long time, so now it is the time to dust off my foldable push bike and get going.
On the way back home I took some backroads, and came across this cache. What a great hide and worth a favourite.

I come out this way quite regularly but have never have any luck here as there's always workers here when I pass or the road has been flooded and you can't access the cache.
Finally today the area was clear and barely a muggle passed while I was here.
Great container! I liked it.
You rarely see anything like that but I found one just the same two days ago so it was obvious for me second time around.

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Our 3rd stop on the way staying at the Richmond club.
After breakfast at Ikea, hubby rode his bike along the cycle trail while I took the car & searched for others in the area.
A very good constructed hide, really good to see something different. FP given

Wow wow didn’t take long to find just used instincts so I wouldn’t get rerouted around and around in circles ! Found last night at 8pm
Some passing traffic and approaching muggles delayed me making a quick grab as I loitered near a hopefully correctly identified target. As I pretended to be on my phone until they passed, one muggle slowed and said “you’re hot!”. Determined he wasn’t hitting on me when “if you’re playing that game…” was added. And yes, we were both correct about spotting the clever camo. Turned out he was not a fellow cacher but had seen a number of people doing the same thing so he had researched the reason why.
I needed a nice find today to keep my streak going and a micro to keep working towards a UGC challenge I want to complete - this one had me confused for a minute looking at the GZ a few times unsure if it was what I was looking for - awesome camo - TFTC Morley196, I really enjoyed it!
After a mixed bag of finds and dnfs this morning I wasn't hopeful but as I got to GZ I spotted something that I thought deserved a closer look and soon had cache in hand! Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
After spending a couple of weeks at the Lane Cove Caravan Park today it was time to hit the road again. We headed to Richmond because we knew about the Club here where we could stay in the caravan and also we noticed a nice selection of caches. So after setting up camp we headed off and found this cache. We have a few more days here so out caching we will be. Thanks to Morley196 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
TFTC we are travelling in your country from the Blue Mountains of Australia. Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us aTFTC and goong to the effort of placing it at this location. It is what helps make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
I'm certainly not a fan of caches this close to roads, however, the neat camo made thus cache a little better. TFTC.
A quick find before heading home after a great weekend out! TFTC!

MrS found this in good time thanks to some experience with this type. Nice camo. TFTC
Dad grabbed this one because Mum told us it was too dangerous for us to get out of the car. She's a bit of a panicker.
Dad went and found this one. He went straight to it, and I'm glad he didn't scratch his ankle today.
I spotted this one immediately... Mostly because I love these types of camo set-ups. Nicely done and a fave from me for the good effort!
AWTYOW spotted this hide instantly. I really liked this one too. Great cache!

On the way to pick up a few odd ones we have missed for one reason or another. Quick find TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. We were in the area and decided to have a look for this one. We parked nearby and walked to GZ. After a brief search we had the clever hide. As we were signing the log a car pulled into the nearby driveway, opened the gate and continued onto the property. They didn't seem bothered by what we were up to. We replaced the hide and continued on our way. I'm giving this a fav. TFTC
Out with Trodectus for a few finds, as in the area, we thought would have a go. Arrived GZ and spotted something similar that we had seen before used for caches. Hunch was right and we had CIH. Log signed and replaced. TFTC.
Taking this one off line due to someone driving through the closed gates, I expect that the replacement gates will be along shortly and the crew may remove it unknowingly. Also it needs some maintenance

We were on the horcrux trail, but I hadn't found this one close to #1. Very clever construction, I liked the effort put into this one.
I see that I am the first finder since Tronador & Altaire reconstructed the container. I would say they did a good job - it all looked very convincing to me.
Thanks

Altaire and I were out chasing Horcruxes. This was up the road. We admired the technology and checked all the usual places. Nothing, cause we found the cache lying on the ground completely dismantled and broken. The part that held the log was still intact and it was this that caught our eye and upon opening it we found the hidden cache container and the log. We signed the log and then made a few assumptions. Not really sure what the cache was or where it was supposed to be hidden we collected bits and pieces and attempted to put it all together. Everything fitted except one part which we believe has been broken off, its now inside its casing. I left the cache in a spot that seemed obvious. Clever camo and hide. CO may wish to check on this and make a repair to the broken bit. Altaire has a photo and could show you what we did with it.
Our GPS doesn't display micros but Tronador had this one on hers and since we were nearby we found it with her. I liked the camo very much, even though it was slightly disassembled when we found it. But we put it back where we thought it was meant to be. It was a very clever hide. But it is a shame the road is so busy. I felt very conspicuous.
Very clever & creative! Really enjoyed finding this one - appreciate the effort that went into making this one. TFTC
Using new app we had a quick look here but I couldn't get compass to lock on. Still had what we thought was a thorough look on a very busy road but no luck today.
#2835 (2 of 3 today) (Streak day 300)
Frustrating afternoon with so many muggles around right near GZ at quite a few caches. Just kept going time and time again. And then a few DNFs thrown in.
Aaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!
Should look on the bright side. Still got three - even if it took ages this afternoon.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
A few more muggling outs after my last find, and finally I ended up here.
Quickly spotted something worthy of further investigation, and boy, did that take a while.
Eventually made my way to the (wet) log, but the right in the rain paper saw signing duties easily completed. Sometimes I think this type of paper is easier to write on when wet.
Finally got everything back the way it originally was and then on my way.

Very nicely done. It took some dismantling to get to the log, then it had to "remantle" it (I've just invented a new word). When I was here a year ago, I had no idea of such cache containers. TFTC
On my way back from out west I came back a different way so there were caches along here I'd never passed before. Pulled up and walked back. Experience surely helped with this sort of hide. Some visitors in part of the cache but I got to the log and signed. Replaced it all as it was.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Out with Team Merlin this morning looking for a cache in order to keep our streak going.
We ended up at the cache Flood Gates. Parking close to the gates it was not long before arriving at the indicated coordinates as we basically were nearly at GZ. This road is now a very high traffic area when we were here it was extremely busy with traffic.
Looking around the indicated area it was not long before we were rewarded with a quick find. With cache in hand we both singed the log and returned the log and cache container as found.
Well hidden in plain site nice cache hide. Both log and cache container in good condition.
This one deserves a favourite point from us for sure.

Out with JJCC on a morning cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Whilst out in Windsor early this morning we drove up Richmond Road and approached this cache from the Marsden Park end of Grange Avenue. Pulling up just beyond the gates we parked on the side of the road and only had a couple of metres to walk to GZ. The gates really do stick out in order to be highly visible when closed, so with that in mind we concentrated on that colour and were soon rewarded with a quick find. What can we say, excellent camo and well constructed and worthy of a fav point.
With the cache in hand we both performed our signing duties before carefully placing the cache back as found.

A spot of caching on a sunny Friday morning. First find for the day. Nice work. TFTC.
After finding a few caches at The Ponds I stopped to attempt this one on my way out west. It was mid-afternoon so the road was not too busy and I was able to grab the cache in relative peace.
It's an impressive setup, though presently affected by mud.
Nice one, thanks Morley.

This was the only find for today. After sorting the log for 'Are you in over your head? please read cache notes' I wanted to try this cache because it was nearby and had more than 10 Favourite Points for the first Road Trip souvenir. Geomum and I we parked near GZ but couldn't believe how much traffic was passing. The coordinates were good so I put the GPS away and started looking. Geomum casually said "I think it is yellow" and soon enough I touched something which turned out to be the cache. It was indeed yellow and it is only because I have found similar caches that I considered this to be a well-camouflaged cache rather than something else. SL. TFTC. Another FP awarded.

We didn't open the flood gates, but we did find the cache.....Good work on the camo. Fav to be sure. TFTC!!
Had a look for this one, a few days ago. Thought we had found it, but we were wrong.
Back again today, and with a hint from the CO, the cache was discovered.
Signed new log, and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Morley196, for us and others to find.

Dropped by to check, all good, someone had cause to be over 2mts which saved this one.
It's funny how something so well camouflaged and fitting in so beautifully to its environment can still be nice and easy to find - although I admit I could imagine it also giving someone a hard time. This was really well done, but I found it immediately. A favourite from me. Thanks again.
#2927- This was extremely well done, but still very obvious as well. An immediate find. Thanks

Parked the beast halfway between this cache and "Are you in over your head?" which I completed first. Trudging back past the car I headed towards GZ and spotted the likely hide from a fair distance. Cleverly constructed cache container, awarding a favourite point for that! SL TFTC Morley196!

Streak Day #439 - spotted what i thought could have been it, but decided to check some logs & whilst i was reading them, Team Canary called me to ask about another cache, so i checked with him what i saw and he confirmed it. Didnt realise how to open the camo so i thought i had broken it so called the CO and whilst chatting to him i managed to fix it and its all good. TFTC Morley196
I met my friend Hannah Grace Bell at this cache.
This was her first time geocaching !
Unfortunately we coudnt find this. I think it maybe because I was very distracted.
Will come back for this later.

I approached a spot where I would place a cache, and soon enough spotted sometime not quite right. This one reminds me of a certain hide under a bridge in The Ponds..,
Thanks for another local one Morley.
