I was in the area after my pre-CITO event and then attendance at the CITO so I thought why not drive the short distance over to this cache. All I can say is **read the cache page** as it sometimes saves you time. After poking around some nooks and crannies I read the cache page properly and adjusted my focus. I was rewarded with the cache immediately.I can't say I found a clue in it so I'll have to chase down another cache in the same colour.
A long planned trip away finally came to fruition as we headed off to Geelong after a gap of some years to catch up with caching friends. There is always a good variety of caches and hides to search for and Geelong itself is a pretty spot with lots of places to explore. Plenty of history and lovely scenery with the bay, riverside, open paddocks and bushland. We particularly enjoyed the many trails and riverside paths where Mrs SKI could give her new ebike a workoutA great time was had with lots of laughs and ribbing as we searched for the various caches and wondered what we might find next. We also had the chance to catch up with some great local cachers on a lovely evening out.Logs signed as SKI Pair, SP or RASP.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Darth Briji.**SKI Pair****
What a fantastic day of geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula! The weather was perfect, and the landscapes were stunning. Our group ventured through a mix of urban areas, lush parks, and coastal paths in search of hidden caches. The camaraderie among our caching crew made the day even more enjoyable, with plenty of laughs and shared triumphs as we uncovered each cache. As the sun began to set, we gathered to celebrate our successes and swap stories from the day's adventures.Geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return for more caching adventures in the future! This is one of the caches found today. This is like playing the real game of monopoly, I seem to have been finding pieces for years now. Thanks Darth Briji for the cache.
Swung by this afternoon because I made a promise to Bunjil to place a new log here. Discovered a small log paper at the bottom of the cache from earlier this year!New and older logs both now snug within a new plastic bag.
With a dinner event in Geelong, I came early to grab some caches beforehand. Another quick find and easy climb. Thanks to ?? The Monopoly Guy ?? for the cache.
Original cache is very easy to spot, not so easy to dislodge. Unfortunately, it sounds like this one lost its log and clue quite some time ago.

After unsuccessfully freezing myself to death on the waterfront, I decided to pick up some remaining Monopoly hides while they still survive. Nicely placed and not too difficult for me to reach, but was unfortunately empty. So I’ve decided to revisit on my next trip in a months time with a new log unless someone else does in the meantime.
A much easier one than the one around the corner I started the morning with!!! TFTC
With a hop, step and not quite a jump but more of a stretch I opened the cache to find a log! Thanks to RoamingHowie for placing a new paper log in here. I have added a zip lock bag to keep it dry but the log is in great condition.
The only thing is, I forgot how sticky this tree is! Being in my work uniform and on my way to work I am just a little stickier. Thank goodness for hand sanitiser! Another of my D/T goals filled in, yay! It’s always a great feeling to turn a DNF into a smiley. TFTC

After a lovely breakfast out with my mum, it was off to Geelong again (two visits in one week!) to attempt more progress on the Eastern Cemetery Puzzle caches and tidy up a couple of others.
I was a little early so I set off for a couple of finds. I parked near GZ and set off to a likely host to spot the cache quickly. Being tall was an advantage here. The cache was empty so I have once again added a paper log, although I don’t know how well the log will survive the weather as I didn’t have anything to seal it in. Hopefully the cache provides its shelter .
Thanks Darth Briji for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

You know that feeling you get when you think someone is at home so you keep knocking and knocking until it’s time to give up? Well that’s the same feeling I had at this cache. The house is there, but no one is home! Whatever was inside it is no longer there. I had a look through the tree in case it fell out but no luck. I guess this is another Monopoly cache that will drop off the radar unfortunately. Thanks anyway.
Thank you to all who have found this cache and enjoyed the Geelong Monopoly Series. I really enjoyed creating this series and loved reading the logs of those who left one. Sadly, I don’t have the motivation to keep this series maintained anymore therefore I will be archiving it over time as they disappear.
Thank you once again to all those who have found and enjoyed this series
Cheers,

We were out and about in Geelong today doing some shopping for the weekend. as we are running out of close to home caches, we are taking all opportunities to pick up caches away from home so we have the ones close to home when we need them for continuing our streak. It feels like we have been doing Monopoly cache for months. We love the themed hides and this one is hiding in plain sight. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache Darth Briji.
On our way down to the beach for a couple of weeks and made sure to detour through Geelong to pick up a few caches along the way. A quick find and retrieve here once we spotted the hide, thanks for the cache.
Quick find here today while out on the bike in Breakwater, could be my last find for a good while now. On to the puzzles then. TFTC
This was the cache chosen today for the daily cache, along with ilook4geo, as we had to be in this part of town on business. Nobody was in the area at all, so it was a quick find as we knew what type of container we would be looking for. We made two more entries on the log sheet and were happy to head off again. Our thanks go to The Monopoly Guy for another house to add to our Geelong collection.
This find keeps the streak going for the day and was an easy one at that. Cache found, log signed, all replaced. Job done! TFTC.
TFTC. Before leaving Geelong today we had time for just one more. A quick look and no issues in finding and retrieving the cache. Took not of the clue and went back to camp.
Windy as anything, tiny sprinkles of rain didn't stop me from getting this one. In saying that my pen died and I didn't have another so I did my best and will be back in afew hours with one that works... TFTC

Stay in Geelong for the weekend. Day 2. Accompanied with theashleys7 for caching day to do the Monopoly series. Found it. Thanks The Monopoly Guy for bringing us here
Marshall’s Geelong found this cache today,
Find was easy. It was the waiting for the muggles to leave was the annoying part. When they left I signed the log.

Hi there Darth Briji.
Plan "A" didn't work out today: we wanted to do some caches around Point Henry, but it appears that all the access roads are closed because of a cycle event. Not to be deterred, we chose a nearby cache and followed a "next closest" sort of route until we found ourselves back where we started.
We found 7 caches & DNF'd 2 in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.

I rolled a pair of sixes.
That meant I could go far.
So here I am.
The mower muggle was cutting laps, then he settled in under the trees (etc.) At the far end of the reserve.
I took this opportunity th make my move.
A lovely structure was unveiled and the title deeds were soon in hand.
I signed on the dotted line and hope that settlement in nor far off.
Thanks Monopoly Guy.

Out first find for so long. Thanks for the cool little hide and I think we will start this monopoly series properly now. Beautiful day for some cache hunting.
Container found but yet again it’s empty. At least the third one of these i’ve had from this series. Put a (very) temp log in place. TFTC CO.

Whilst in Geelong for the weekend, we decided to try to find a few of the caches in this series.
A nicely hidden cache here. Blends nicely.
Cheers Darth Briji

Was a little concerned at what we might find inside this but luckily, nothing was home except that which should be. There seemed to be something happening at the nearby gym as there were quite a lot of people but they were far enough away not to be an issue to us. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

I'm only reading this description now, about spiders! We didn't encounter any luckily, and quickly found the cache. Thanks
TLC check. New log in place. Eeeek! Spiders everywhere! Think I disturbed a whole cluster!
Easy find, whilst watch cricket and earning ourselves a cricket ball that was stuck in a tree

On my way to the coast I detoured past here for a smiley.
At this time of night the coast was very clear.
The only thing that spooked me was the huntsman that shot out the cache when I opened it.
Collected the code, signed, dropped a TB and moved on.

What a cool cache to find on a megga hot 37 degree day.
This was a special one for me as it marks my 1000th find in the 3 years I’ve been wandering around looking like an idiot finding caches. Had to come all the way from Tasmania to Victoria to do it.
Thanks for the special cache
Cheers

The family and I were in the area for our Christmas holidays, and while we were enjoying the sights, we wanted to stop by a few family friendly caches for the kids to find. Having found the nearby letterbox, the kids had a great run around on the grass, and raced each other to GZ. The eldest did her best to get up to the cache, but just wasn’t quite able to reach it. Fortunately dad loves to climb.

After a short hunt and a precarious scramble in thongs the cache was in hand, signed, returned. Retrieved again for the clue (which because I wasn't paying attention I already had...) and returned again.

Today I headed out on another road trip, this time a bit of a loop around through Geelong and Inverleigh and then up to Ballarat for the Giff Event.
My main targets on this run were Letterbox Hybrid and Large caches.
This one wasn't far from the previous find and as I had found a few in this series, I headed to this one next.
Once at GZ the cache was spotted quickly and the log was soon signed.

Good thing we brought Geocousin - he's a good monkey
Fun! Loving the Monopoly theme.

Fun! Loving the Monopoly theme.
I was in the 'hood running some errands when I saw there was a gamepiece nearby. A muggle playing with his geomutt near GZ slowed me down for a while, but I hung around long enough for him to feel uncomfortable and leave. Usually it's the other way around, but the muggles lost this particular round .
I then stepped up to the gameboard and made my mark. I enjoyed this cache - an appropriate container in a fun hideout.
Thanks, Monopoly Guy.

After a long birthday weekend down the Bellarine I made the journey home with my kids and a detour or two to nab a cache or two on the way. Master 8 made the climb here and was so pleased with himself! Many thanks for the cache
We hadn't planned on doing this cache. We were down for Melb. to do a section of the G2Q rail trail on shank's pony. It had started to rain, so we decided it was time to head home, but needed to find a toilet before hitting the Hwy. Mrs P. found this reserve, and after doing what needed to be done before the long drive home, I noted there was a nearby cache. Whilst the others stayed in the car Will and I went for a walk. Will had already told me he wasn't doing any climbing today, so it was up to me to drag my 100kgs+ up the tree. There is photographic evidence - but it contains a spoiler image - so won't be posted here! Lets just say it looks very funny! Luckily no branches broke and no bones either! Loved the construction of the cache. Will wanted to swap for a little crystal thingy inside, so we dropped one of our freshly minted Plowfive pathtags for the next finder. TFTC Darth B. The Monopoly game has got us intrigued. I liked the game sheet style logbook. We will definitely be back to do complete the series another time. Back at the car we noticed you had a nearby letter box, also involving a climb. A quick look at a previous finder's photo and I knew there was no point me going for that one.. well not until I lose 20kgs and get much fitter!!! (or we put a ladder on the roof rack!)
In the area attending a funeral. It was nice to be able to get out the fresh air and make this nice find.
Thanks Darth Briji for placing the cache for us to find.

Grabbing my daily cache after uni, I decide to head to this one. I have been really enjoying this series. I found the park and just as I was parking, another car pulled in and out got a mother, daughter and their dog. Great! They headed off in the other direction so I decided to risk it. I headed to GZ and saw the cache and thinking it was a bit too high to attempt to grab without looking completely crazy and suspicious I decided to head back to the car to either wait it out or head to a different cache and come back another day (maybe with some sort of stool (I am beginning to think I need to keep a stool or small ladder in my car when caching in Geelong - there seem to be a lot of caches around here up high)). On my way back to the car the muggle mum called out to me and asked me if I was ok because I was 'a young female who looked lost and as a mother, she simply had to make sure I was alright' (and the fact that my car has South Australian number plates didn't help the situation). I quickly explained geocaching and how the cache was just out of my reach, and had a nice chat about how yes, I am South Australian but I live in Geelong half the year for uni. I then went back to the car and looked at what other caches were nearby but none of them jumped out at me to find today. By this point the muggle mother, daughter and dog left so I decided that I would go back to the cache and see if I could find a way to get it. After examining the tree, I decided that I could semi-climb it to reach the cache. I quickly grabbed the log, signed it and replaced it. TFTC
