Sorry folks, be there as soon as I can but I live a few hours away now. Will travel down to fix in the next few weeks.
Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Muggled again!! Will get down there as soon as I can to repair and replace this one, sorry folks.
After spending the night at my daughter's place, decided to find a few caches near her house today. 4th on the list and after a pleasant walk along the path, arrived at GZ and started searching. I hoped there weren't any other surprises while I searched around this tree (found a snake at the final of a wherigo in Petrie) but luckily none today. We both searched for about 20mins moving at lot of leaf litter but no cache was found. Either it is hidden very well or cache may be gone. Will have to try again another day.
Im from central coast visit my brother's family house for 3 nights and weather no good for me.... Thanks
After several muggle thefts, I have installed a new cache, slightly better hidden. Same tree just in a new spot, hopefully this one stays a little longer!
Geopa found this one. The lid and photos have been stored in a plastic clip lock bag.
Found the lid of this cache, looks like it has been smuggled. All contents gone save a few pages of the logbook I'm afraid. Great spot though, and a lovely tribute. Tftc
Hi there, looks like some mongrel got into this and vandalised the cache. We were with my partner's mum who has found this cache before and so we had a look around for the pics and contents but didn't find them sorry. Rotten luck as this is such a sweet tribute cache and a great tree to house it in. Just letting you know as if you replace the cache you may want to change the location of gz. Cheers.
While in the area I had to go find this one and what a nice location down by the river it was in plane view I suspect animals might be scratching away the cover, thanks for bringing me in here and TFTC.
Found some great little parks in Nerang today while caching
Cache found in obvious spot uncovered
Attempted to cover more
Cache all good though for next cacher to find

I was out prospecting for a potential cache site when I found I was passing this one, so decided to look it up. Enjoyed a nice riverside walk and soon had the cache in hand. SL< TNLN. Many thanks Pirate Fate.
After an absolutely wonderful Mother's Day picnic with my daughter by this beautiful hidden part of the Nerang River we walked to this spot. Not too difficult. Now she is hooked.
Upon my return this lovely autumn afternoon I have success!!!!
Would never have found this the other night in the dark and injured. Lovely tree and best to use your instinct rather than gps reading this time. Someone had been here just before me. Tftf!

Ok, so probs not best doing this one in the night. I have just fallen down a 2 meter drop at the entrance and have blood pissing out everywhere. Soldiered on to G.Z. in tears. Impossible to locate by phone light.
In the words of Arnie - I'll be back!!

Mr Gap and I approached GZ just as another couple headed to within 20m of GZ and started to play with their dog, so we decided to keep walking and just enjoy the area for a while. A short time later we returned and they had moved on, a quick search of the obvious large object and soon had a cache. TFTC

Lots of ants though so it was a quick pickup and put down, then dust them off as best we could. Then signed and returned.
Great spot here, thanks PirateFate

Out doing some caches before going home to Brisbane. Another walk in the park. Approached GZ however I could not go looking as there were muggles nearby. Waited until they left. Found Cache, however found the logbook on ground about 2-3 metres away. Placed log book in cache and put back in its spot. TFTC
Tftc found quickly enough but had to wait for kids and dogs to finish playing before I could sign!
When this cache was published Mrs. Herbz thought it would be a good one to bring the geomuts to. However, it has taken rather a long time for us to come here, but today is the day! The geomuts certainly enjoyed meeting a couple of border collies in the off leash area before heading over to find the cache. As we drew near to GZ we spotted a likely area and sure enough it was. What an awesome tree. We're glad the cache is a good size otherwise we'd have been there for a long while with all those nooks and crannies. As it was it didn't take too long to locate. Meanwhile, Paul, our larger geomut, was having a great time cavorting about in the river! TFTC.
Good spot!! Bit hard to find but got it eventually. Watch out for ants and spider webs!! MPC
Braved the on and off wet weather this morning and met up with a fellow geocaching mum photohotshot, with the little miss geobub tucked into her pram we set off to grab 4 caches this morning. This was the second one we came to. Had a quick look at the description and located the hide fairly quickly. Log in hand & signed. Thank you for the hide PirateFate.
TFTC... Nice spot easy find. Starting to trust my instincts more than my GPS on some of these. The stream is clear the ducks are having a nice swim. The area is beautiful.
18/7/15 whilst the son attends a scout event down here I thought I'd grab some caches. A super quick find in a lovely spot. TFTC
Careful.... large spider guardian lol

I am on my way west for a long week-end camping and caching.
But I still need to find my cache for the day, so a quick stop by here for a quick find.
Thanks for the cache.

Well this was a somewhat unsuccessful but still enjoyable morning out. The trusty geocycle got me around the caches, but the muggles were out in force and luck was not on my side either. 3 DNFs, 3 DNLs and 3 finds, so I was consistent if nothing else.
I was a bit worried abot this one with all the dogs and muggles around, but oit is a little off the path and there was nobody in this part of the park at all.
This was a nice quick find thanks. I left a TB here.
As I headed back along the path I could hear some kids squelaing wiht joy. I passsed two young girls having the best fun tobaganing down the wet grass on cardboard. Nice to see girls out there doing that sort of stuff. [^]

Found the cache safe and sound this morning after meeting up with JooJoo57 and heading out to do some caching. We had a lovely day and this was our first cache today. Thanks for placing it PirateFate and for showing us this amazing large grassed area that we didn't know was behind these houses. [^][^]
Out caching with Aussie Liahona for the day. This was our first find for the day. What a fabulous fig tree on the bank of the creek - a short search soon had the log signed and we were on our way. TFTC PirateFate.
Up from Canberra and found with Rapidlywild on a two week geomission around the Gold Coast and, of course, for the MEGA
The Mega had come to a close and the fun had finished so we were back on the Gold Coast. Our energy was low so we decided we'd have a cruisy day of caching around the area.
Nice, easy find for us here.
Thanks for the hide PirateFate

No issues with this one
Thanks PirateFate for placing this cache for us to make a find on

I was in the area on a Monday night so decided to check this one out. The rain had stopped a hour before and it was now dark.
I was totally unprepared but a search of my car resulted in a LED light from my camera bag, a pen (just in case) and something to swap.
I found the likely spot and started to search. The LED torch shone on a big huntsman spider so I decided to check another spot instead. Soon I had the container in hand without encountering any more spiders.
I had a keyring sized LED torch still in its packet. I swapped this for an action figure. I also took the Dog geocoin and dropped in a Cow travelbug.
Thanks for the cache PirateFate. It is good to see some larger containers being hidden.
Cheers!!

So good!!! Easy find!!! Beware of the mozzies I just got attacked; and I have Bushmans on!! Oh well, won't forget that cache ever :)
We were abit worried about snakes but was a pretty quick find & we didn't see any snakes TFTC
Well, what a discovery!! I brought Mika my dog down to see where Zeuss liked to play. She was impressed and and we will be back for her to have a swim when a bit warmer. I moved into the hinterland area in 1983. Back then this area would have been private farmland and so I have never seen this part of the Nerang River. I'm glad that these trees and the open space have been preserved for all to use. PirateFate this is a great first cache and a favourite point from me too.

Geo Wife and I found ourselves with some free time as some friends had had to cancel a lunch date so we just had to do some of our favourite game!!
We were lucky to get an FTF first up so now we were moving on to other new ones around the larger area of the Coast.
Monkey Maker had written such a great log on this one it kept Geo Wife busy reading it until we arrived near GZ at the suggested parking.
It was a lovely day so we enjoyed the walk down to GZ and the tranquility of the area and the river.
As we approached we were amazed with the 2 trees near GZ, absolutely beautiful!!!!
The GPSr was wanting us to go to a different spot but we suspected we knew where the cache would be.
Soon after I spotted the great hide and sat and enjoyed the river below us while Geo Wife checked out the contents and then left something extra in the cache.
Thanks Pirate Fate Thanks for the lovely location! TFTC SL TNLS

I was up early checking out locations for some new caches when I remembered this one had but published the night before. A quick check and it was still unfound.
15min later I was parked up and wandering through one of the best suburban parks I've seen. I followed the footpath down and around when I was almost bowled over by two Labrador puppies. I knew they were puppies and that they were just bouncing around uncontrollably at their new found freedom but I think the owner must have freaked out as he yelled out "they won't hurt you mate, their just puppies". They payed no attention to his frequent calls to heel and come, so I continued on my way. The lower park section was almost completely covered in fog. It looked very cool and it had a eerie feeling while walking through it to GZ. On approach I could see two of my favorite trees. Wow, the one east of GZ is AMAZING. It's huge, I love the big thick branch hanging down over the crystal clear water, thats trickling over a small dam made by local kids. This truly is one of, if not the best spot along the Nerang River. After a few photos I wandered over to GZ and made the find. Opened the log book and was greeted with a nice clean log book.
FTF @ 7am. Made a swap and replaced the cool cache back in it's hide.
If I grew up in the area as a kid, I don't think I would have ever been at home. A shame I have to be at work in half an hour as I would have liked to explore a bit more.
Definitely worthy of a favorite point and a revisit with the family.
Great first cache PirateFate, beautiful spot to remember Zeuss.
