Another day where we have started with a DNF. We had also arrived just after some rain and we didnt want to get our nails dirty. Thanks anyway
Headed up this road to grab some caches on my way up the coast to an event today at Woolgoolga. Took a bit of searching until I found this one. TFTC
TFTCThe locating device was bunching about a bit at this location.Eventually the cache was located and the log signed.
With a long weekend in front of me and a challenge cache in Brisbane on the radar it seemed a perfect opportunity to good to miss to not head south and chase the caches i need to successfully claim the cache. After spending the night in Coffs Harbour woke early and started the hunt for local caches with a view of working my way back towards Brisbane.I found a safe place to park the car and made my way to ground zero where the cache was quickly located. The log was removed and signed and replaced the cache safely in its hiding place.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
A beautiful area and we came supplied to help with the maintenance of caches in the locality. Thanks earthly65 and robbie for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area.
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a 2024 New Years adventure. A quick find here. Its a great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
We looked high and we looked low but no luck for us here today. Maybe next time.
Thanks anyway.
Thanks anyway.
No luck today….. we had a good look, but there are plenty of caches in front of us today… 3 from 3!
Back in the area today to try and finish some of these trails. Didn’t have much time last time I looked for this one… turns out I was looking at the wrong stump!! Gotcha this time. Nice hide
An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.
Very tempting cry, but clever after you find it.

My husband and i are on the way home to Brisbane from a road trip to Sydney and after finding the cemetery cache nearby i thought this one looked interesting. We went around and around and around etc etc etc and were thinking of giving up when my husband spotted this tricky hide. Thats a good one and it is always fun when you find a cache that you have almost given up on. Thanks for all the fun
Thanks to Short Circuits for the helpful hint I have finally found this one after 3 attempts
Excellent hide. This was our last cache of the day after a long mushrooming trip. It was a pleasure to eventually find! TFTC
Checked in here today...retrieved replacement cache as original cache was in place...many thanks to pandsa for your thoughtfulness in replacing tho...this cache is tricksy but when u find it u will wonder how u missed it
Oops...error...thanks to ski pair for your thoughtfulness in replacing cache to keep it active
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
The clue for this hide was very specific, so we replaced the cache with a camo small.
It was another shorter rune today as we headed back out into the hills to complete the WoopiBucca trail and then onto Emerald Beach for the Ad Lab there and then a few further caches on the way home.
Great weather and another good day. We enjoyed the bush drive and then the sights along the coast were magnificent.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

Dnfs noted...will be doing maintenance run on the woopi-bucca trail shortly so will check in here
Our second visit here and searched again for a long time, but still left without the smiley
Today we headed up north to complete the WoopiBucca trail, our first full day caching in a few months.
We managed to make 42 finds and 0 DNF's, the trail was a little washed out in some places but nothing we couldn't handle. Overall it was a great day out.
Quite tricky indeed, just had to look at the right angle.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

Dropped the camper into Woolgoolga to have some work done on it, and this series was just across the highway. How could I resist?
Spent the morning on this series then a couple of AdLabs in Coff's.
The GPSr did wander a bit, but when that happened the clues were always good.
A nice range of sizes and hides to keep the trail interesting.
I can't believe that I found them all except for this one!
A DNF for me here today.
Thanks for the series though.
Thanks, Robmc.

Just catching up with logging about this fabulous trail I cached with IndigoBlue1 3/11/2020 thank you Earthly65 Thank you and RobbieRacer for setting up and maintaining all of this fir us.
It was time to go for a forest drive with ilook4geo and this WoopiBucca series looked like a good run of caches to do. Most were easy enough to find with just a few taking a bit longer. It was an enjoyable day. All found logs had two more names added to them before being put back where they had been found.
This one took us a while. We did several circuits of the stump and found nothing, Checked out the other tall stump nearby, just in case. We decided to have some lunch and give it one more try after that. This time it was found on the first lap, more by accident than anything. Very happy to retrieve the container and sign the log. Favourite point added for the simplicity and subtlety of the hide.
Thank you to earthly65 and robbieracer66 for placing this cache.

Had a fun caching day with goingplaces2 and found most of the ones we looked for, signed logs and replaced all as found.
Did some circles looking for this one, then found it on the first circle after lunch. Enjoyed finding this one. TFTC.

DNF 22/11/2020 with JessYoung96.
Second time DNF'ing this one, looked on both standing stumps and the one on the ground, didn't help that the coords kept jumping.
Thanks anyway earthly65.

too dark now to try too hard, but thanks for hiding this cache for our pleasure earthly65 and robbieracer66
Our group DRJ (DiamonJs, Richond Lad and joojoo57) had these caches west of Woolgoolga on our list today. Completed the new series as well as some other cachers close by. Thanks to the COs for your time and effort in placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment to find. It is very much appreciated.
Great hide!!
Great hide!!
Out and about caching today caching near Woolgoolga and area west doing a trail of caches and other caches along country roads. To the CO's thank you for placing these caches for them to be found (sorry about the generic log ). Most were easy to find, however there were a couple that needed more time to locate. Log signed as DRJ which represents us 3 cachers - DiamonJs, Richmond Lad and joojoo57. Thoroughly enjoyed. TFTC. Give a FP for the exact spot of the cache
After completing the WoopiBucca trail and proceeding to the main road, I said "Hang on, there's another cache just here" So we decided this was as good a place as any to have a break and a bit of lunch. Ozglory had already found this one some time ago but couldn't remember where it was. so wandered around the said stump, poked and prodded, used a torch in the dark bits all to no avail. Then, at just the right angle I spotted the clever hide. FP awarded for this one.
Pulled up here with dread knowing I'd searched while last time. Today it was a much more positive experience. the local TOTT weren't successful so had to go back to the car for a bettet tool. Log was soon being signed and then on my way to another . Tftc
Very clever find, had trouble finding but follow the hint! First to find for almost 2 years!
we checked in on this cache today whilst on maintenance run in the area...all is well..cache in place..sad this spot is being used by nasty tossers as a dumping ground
I tried to find this cache again a couple of days ago
Sad to say it was another DNF !!
Reading the cache logs back at camp last night,
I knew this pesky cache was still in place,
so popped by this morning for a more detailed inspection of GZ
I thought I had forensically examined GZ on the last visit !! [:o]
Apparently not
And this morning spied the unexpectedly large cache in a damn obvious place
Great to get this monkey of a cache off me back [^]
Fave dance time

Fabulous hide had us searching for quite a while!
We're on our way home from the Alice Springs Mega event. Cached all through Victoria, S.Aus, Uluru, Barkly Hway, Qld & now back in our home state NSW ... finding some great camps along the way. Log stamped Coongoola, small logs signed CG.
Thanks for placing this cache earthly65 and robbieracer66.

Checked on this cache on our maintenance run today...found log in surprisingly good condition for this type of hide and the age of the log...thankyou cachers for your care of this log...and...for the funniest logs we have ever read on any cache...some just had us in stitches ...all is well here...happy caching!
TFTC after at least 20min searching all around we decided to get ready to leave until found it was called out finally
What a magnificent stump this one is and we were glad to be shown it by a cache being placed here. A nice hide and thanks to earthly65 and robbieracer66 for the smilie in this location. We are really enjoying our drive in the countryside in this area. Thanks for bringing us here. Cheers and happy caching!
Went looking for a few caches this morning on my way to a running race further up Bucca Rd. Didn't have time to spend too long looking which meant that I only found two of the ones I looked for - this was one of those two. TFTC
We found GZ as quick as you like but it took a good 15 minutes until the cache was in hand. An excellent hide in an old stump felled by hand many years ago.
Thanks for setting up the inventive caches that entertained us this afternoon.

Well wasn't this one fun?? !! lol
We spent what felt like an incredibly long time staring at this huge stump. Around and around we went, whilst the geokids complained from the car.
Around and around we went again. We read a few previous logs - no help there
Mrs Staybe declared once again she had had enough. Ozglory agreed. We all just made it back to our cars when Mr Staybe declared he had made the find - again!
Tricky tricky tricky

Gawd, even the sheriff didn't have this much trouble with that Robin Hood fellow. 4 of us circled this monument to the timber industry. we looked, we poked, we tut tutted. we used torches, we used cameras, we swopped places, we held meetings, we went back to the job. finally one by one we returned downcast to the car. Only mr staybe was left, then in a quiet voice which was hardly discernible, we thought we heard " found it", not sure if he was kidding around or serious we slowly wondered back to see he really had found it. great hide. fav from us. sl tnln, thanks for placing this cache, I think. Found with staybe&co. What a beautiful day, we spent it with our family geocaching. It's good when both mums like to cache the day was simply awesome.
Back to Sherwood Forest after a DNF nearly 2 years ago. Surely enough thinking time for where this cache would be hidden, not to mention a very good hint on the cache page, to get rid of that unsightly blue frown we have to put up with. Woohoo! a find that took about an hour less than the previous search. Still a really sneaky hide, we just got luckier today. TFTC earthly65.
Coming up through this road my brother and I pulled up here and I had been here without success,we searched for a while ,when you find it you can't believe it took so long and it was much bigger than expected.TFTC.earthly65.
On the way out to Nana Glen and had a bit of spare time, thought I would stop and see if I could find this one. Found the stump in the description and the phone went off so say I was close. Checked where I thought it was going to be, but I was wrong. Had a look around and found the cache. Nice hide.

Couldn't find this cache today [:o]
I searched both tall stumps, but the bigger of the two seemed the likeliest
And now I read a previous 'finders' comment, I wish I had updated me cache notes earlier and I might have found it too

Found the cache but was in too far to extract. Will return with something to get it out another time. I think its been pushed in to far.
Found on a lovely days drive through the area with my partner. She really enjoyed this cache. GPS wandered a bit here, but when we found the stump, the cache was a little hard to find until i stumbled onto it, getting it out was another issue, lucky i had my trusty geocaching kit in the boot.
