Amazing views. Discovered doing Adventure Lab. Nearly stepped on a lizard. He was scared of me as much as it surprised me. Thought it might be magnetic under the new seats but eventually worked it out. No, by a log to find the log. Thanks for the hunt. *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Co-ords took me straight to it. Lovely spot. Tftc.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Instead of going down the highway from Nhill to Dimboola, we headed to Jeparit to look for this cache and to attempt an Adventure Lab. We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities we found. It is a lovely area in which to relax and share the company of others. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a very effective hide. The cache and contents were i good condition. Thanks tackle_head for the cache and for bringing us here.
We are in Jeparit visiting family. I'm pretty sure we tried to find this cache once before and it was missing. We had much better luck this time around. Thanks for the cache tackle_head.
Was abit of an easy find. Not sure if a muggle had stumbled across it, or it wasn't replaced properly. Put it back as I thought it should go. Thanks for the cache and thanks for sharing another magic spot in this town.
We are really enjoying this geocaching tour around Jeparit. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies with unexpected surprises.TFTC and so glad we made the effort to come back here from Rainbow, before traveling into Hopetoun and ultimately Lameroo.
Another one which is nice to see for a change has a few trinkets for exchange took nothing left something, TFTC
Nice area with great steps down to the water. We watched some swimmers reenacting the movie jaws and had a good laugh. Looks like a great place for a dip, heard it used to have pontoons at either end making like a pool for the locals and swimming laps.
New cache is in exactly the same place as the old one. Still sitting there where it was placed last month. Its sad that the people didnt manage to find it on May 31st, but it was there. It is bigger than the original cache and is about the same size as a 150ml sistema container.
The new owner needs to rewrite the story, and check the coords, because we hunted for 30 + minutes, its definitely not near cords where you can find it sitting down?? ( indicating between 2 old logs??), searched further afield but still no luck, photo shows picnic table which no longer exists, this site still needs work.
cheers. with jeffner5556

Really looked forward to finding this one. Searched everywhere we could with Sarge5556 and still don't have a clue where it is.

Earthworks are still going on at this site. it is far too dangerous to replace the cache at this time. Work is supposed to finish at the end of the month. Good to see that reviewer is now giving warnings to owners before disabling caches. Do you want me to give weekly updates or will I get another reminder before it is disabled?
Temporarily disabled. There is earth works going on around here so the area is rather messy and dangerous. I dont even know if the cache hiding spot will still be there once all the work is done.
On a camping road trip and Redda's Park, Brim was our second stop. Today we drove over to Jeparit and Lake Hindmarsh and picked up a few caches along the way. This one took some time. After an extensive search I, Mrs Pooky, read some previous logs which seemed to indicate a spot that I had already looked without success. I returned to that spot and delved deeper and persistence finally paid off. Hopefully we have left the cache a little easier to find for the next person. TFTC and bringing us down to this area which we would not have visited without the cache being here.
I checked that spot a couple times but Lewis is the one that placed his hand on it. nice spot. Thanks for the cache
The cache was found quickly, giving us some time to look for some more before we catch up with everyone else. Thanks for placing it here,
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??

Found on the way to Wyperfeld NP, to spend a weekend 4WDing with our caching friends.
A simple but effective hide, in that we missed it on our first pass, before we had a closer look soon after. Lovely view and place to visit. TFTC nom234.

Finally off on my 4 day weekend away to catch up with some fellow cachers and good friends around Wyperfeld National Park.
I headed up the Calder, turned west at Charlton and meandaring around the back roads to get to my destination for the night which is Lake Albacutya.
The weather is not being so kind to me today so it is a quick run and hopefully find and get back to the Geocruiser and on to the next one kind of day.
After visiting Rainbow I was heading towards Lake Albacutya but instead of turning right I turned left and decided to do a loop of Lake Hindmarsh as I had plenty of time.
I remember staying here on a family caravan trip in the late 60’s early 70’s but that is all I can remember about the place.
A nice peaceful spot and I guess the water would be so refreshing in the heat.
I took a seat to take in the view and soon located the cache and add my name to the log.
Thanks nom234 TFTC.

Holiday road trip with the family to the Wimmera (with a cache or two thrown in)! Great little clean caravan park here. Harder find than I anticipated but got there in the end. Thanks for the cache
A quick find on the way through the area. Got attacked by bull ants. Also, there were 2 caches here. Weird.
Quick find with tassie expat while exploring this great area. Thanks for placing it.
A quick find of two cache containers. Both contain logs and swaps. Signed the log in the bigger one. Not sure what happened here as this one was labelled replacement cache (maybe the muggle who took the first one returned it). All in good order. TFTC
A nice spot, but way to cold to swim today.. quick find, sign and rehide, thanks nom234.
As I arrived here I came across a group of beautiful coots that had come up from the river. Unfortunately I scared them away as I walked towards the cache. Have swum here a few times last summer but definitely too chilly now. Thanks for all your efforts in placing the caches in the district nom234. Cache signed and managed to squeeze a piece of Tassie loot inside.

A nice part of the river especially on this beautiful afternoon.
Thanks nom234

-Got stuck in deep sand tracks
-Amazing silo art
-Visited the old Ebeneza mission I once read about
-Visited the abandoned town of Pella (church and school)
-Rural communities and farm roads
Love this country

New cache put in. I noticed a few Bull ants wandering around so you might want to keep an eye out.
Must be in a good hole. Bit hot so look was cut short. Hopefully loop back around one day to find
Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! Easily located in this great location!!
TFTC Nice area. The buildings in the town are very interesting. To cold for swim today
This was a very pleasant area to visit and even the caravan park was quiet and, aside from one family setting up their caravan, empty! Mind you I (we) still preferred the solitude of 4-mile camp site.

With Mrs one-eyed, our trusty Nissan 4WD arrived in Jeparit for lunch on way to Rainbow for more caching.
Big Football match at the local oval.
Nothing else happening in the town, it is Saturday.
Found the cache with Mrs one-eyed, very well hidden.
Took Map of Australia and left my Pathtag.

Very happy to turn a DNF from last June into a smiley - a lot more water here this year too tftc
Travelling from Warracknebeal through Dimboola and Jeparit on our way to Alice Springs for the Event over Easter using the back roads as far as possible. This was #3 find in Jeparit today and I must have been geo-blind here, or was it that Monty couldn't settle, cause it took far too long to find. Once at GZ, the coordinates were very good, it was a sneaky hide and so it was a rewarding find. TFTC SL
A great spot for a cache and a good hide and hint to boot. Lots to like about this one thanks nom234.
