How cool! Driven past heaps and never been down there. Couldn't find cache though.
This cache hasn't been found for nearly a year now. Could CO check if cache is still there please?
Five of us searched for some time. The owner may need to check this one ... or adjust difficulty rating.
Yep. Definitely not here. Aussie Wolves and I had a good look for about 10mins. If it is here it's well hidden.
Cooked and went for a thorough search and found the sick parkour tree, but no luck

sadly didn't find, although we didn't have much time to look. might come back another time.
Today I ventured to the north end of Lake Macquarie and then down the western side.
After a bit of a search in the obvious spots without success I moved on.

Great spot. Good history. I thought some of the rail use was recreational bringing folk down for a weekend of frivolity. TFTC

Catching up on logging , Apologies for the delay in sending through the logs. An enjoyable find with no muggle issues, the previous attempt many moons ago was not as successful due to locals hanging out at GZ. TFTC scroggy88. [1834]
Picked up mr_roo for another caching roadtrip into the Newcastle area today, hoping to checkout several of the COTY2015 Nominations once again.
Nice to see a bit of History, and its in pretty good shape still.

After failing to find another cache this was a great one to come to in a great location
found it fairly easy. watch for the cranky lady who thought we were pinching flowers !
Found it whilst eating lunch. 2 caches for 2 days. Next up the one at that anzac park thing down the road.
Had never been down to the old train station! What a great place for a hide.
Thanks so much for bringing me here, nice and quick find
Followed the old train tracks along to the walking track for the next cache!
Cheers

Found it. Beautiful day to look for them. The log was a little damp. Beautiful view too.
Found on a very short night cache run with Orrsome86. He was tired and wanted to do a close by cache, so I drove to a medium distance cache and I greeted this station, I have not seen for many many years. It is strange (and nice) that an unused station like this is so very well lit up at night. We first found a Munzee, but soon after found the treasure.
Thanks for the walk, history and cache!
Thanks for the walk, history and cache!
Found on a night caching run with TOMBI. Only the one find tonight as we were late leaving and I didn't want to stray to far. A short walk and a quick find of both the cache and Munzee (whatever that is). TFTC

I was in Toronto for work today, bringing a group to visit the Historical Society located at the old railway station. While they inspected the exhibition, I went on a cache hunt. The container was soon located and the log signed. One of the historical society members saw me wander up to GZ and asked me if I was looking for the "treasure", so they obviously know about it. She said she had recently replaced the small ziplock bag as the previous one had been damaged. Thanks scroggy88 for the hide.

Was in Toronto today meeting up with a friend and we went for a bit of a walk up this way so as we walked I checked to see if there was any caches around That were not here last time I was in town an behold there was one right near us.
After checking out the old platform went for a look at gz and cache was spotted quickly after getting rid of the spider webs blocking access to the area.
Thanks for this cache scroggy88 and another reason for getting out and about.
