Late in logging. Looked for it on an nice day out with the geowife and geodogs. No idea searched for a long time.
This was my second visit here and I am still unable to locate the Brand New Key. It is living up to it's difficulty rating. It is another one to add to my "I will return and search again" list.
Thank you BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
Thank you BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
Checked on this one and was very happy to find it where it was supposed to be
We searched high and low and everywhere we thought likely to find this cache. Unfortunately, in the end we had to give up and move on . This was our first DNF for the day. Ominous clouds a thunder indicated that that the fine weather would not last and we wanted maximum finds this afternoon. Looks like we’ll have to come back here another day.

One of many caches found today in the name of discovering Hidden Creatures. Very quickly we discovered that returning to The Greatest Series On The Mornington Peninsula posed the problem that there aren't enough favourite points to go around, so instead you get our eternal love and appreciation along with a decent log when we can. ~ Brainiac03

Wow, that took some time! Probably longer than it should have been, but a worthy find in the end. Magnificently crafted and placed, very effective. Thanks for chucking this here!

Ah this one got the better of us today. Will have to return for it another day. Thanks for the challenge.

It was quite the search to find this key holder. The GPSs were all over the shop and I bumped my head a few times, then OzHockeyChick spotted something, I got closer and then - ahh there it is! Thank you
Had just started the search when some home occupants came out and stood there chatting. Decided to move on. On our return journey, again looked for this one. Confused a little by the hint, but GPS had us in the right spot. Persistent searching finally revealed the cache. TFTC BorisB&Natasha and Nutbear.

been out enjoying this lovely bay trail and only wish I had more time to find more.
Poked around bushes a bit but no luck. A few muggles around and didn't want to meet Robert the Redback as well so called it. TFTC though!
Looked in all the wrong places first and was feeling very frustrated and on the verge of giving up when I saw something that required further investigation. Yay. TFTC
Found it! Well I found it! Made it more difficult than it needed to be however not sure if the cache is quick where it should be as it was detached. Anyway TFTC SL and placed it were I thought it should be!
Searched for ages for this cache. Even got out the Garmin GPS for a more accurate reading but no luck. A few empty bottles in amongst the scrub could suggest foul play. Will keep an eye on this one. Thanks anyway. Will be back
Tricky find this, one of those caches where it is better to be shorter than taller. My back was giving out so handed over to Yorsys who found your hide.

Another clever hide and cammo. Coords were good and a short search had it. Log signed and back safe again.
Clever hide!! Took a bit of searching only to find it was right under our noses!! Tftc
This was my first find of the day today as I left home early to head towards work tonight (gotta pick up a couple caches along the way of course). With a break in the rain found I made my way out to do my favourite pass time . Now it was to do some of the Bay Trail series whilst I was here, most of the finds were done fairly quickly with just one ir two that took a while to get anyways I am really loving the series and are saddened to know that there are not many left for me to do. Anyways thanks for the cache and the amazing series.

Its lovely day drive and walk with geo group Crank1, Pwala and Whitepaws9 and thank you for show us.
The weather has been good most of the day, however, on my way back home, the rain has been pouring heavily. I could barely see the road. Enjoyed the day out at Portsea area with Crank1, Laker63 & Whitepaws9. Thank you to BorisB&Natasha for the cache and our day most enjoyable and fun.
Catch ferry to Sorrento to meet crank1, laker63 and pwala in the morning then out caching around portsea area.
Love the cache.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

The family were on a two day trip to Sydney so I couldn’t miss the opportunity to head down the peninsula after work and tackle a few caches. After a long (but unfortunately fruitless) search for a stage of a puzzle cache nearby I started on the Bay Trail series. My GPS just wouldn't seemed to settle there so I tried a few likely spots and in the end found it with help of the hint. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this cache and for a great series of caches along here BorisB&Natasha.

I swear I searched the base of every tree and looked under every rock. Still no luck at all!
Ah man I hate u guys. Make it hard for a big girl with a.bike helmet and bike shoes on. Didnt even have to go in under did I.
Another relatively quick find thanks to the clue. Lots of houses about but few muggles and little traffic made the search much easier. We can only imagine what it must be like in peak season.
After riding our bikes out to Point Nepean to see all the sites and collect caches along the way we decided to tackle some of the ones on the trail to Safety Beach, in reverse!
We are particularly impressed by the quality and variety of the hides we have encountered.
This is easily the best quality trail we have undertaken, and we have done a few!

No luck for us here today. We will come back another time. Thanks for the cache.
Today I set out for a walk from Sorrento to Portsea and return and on the way collect as many caches in the BTR series as possible
The weather was fabulous, sunny, at times overcast, with a light breeze. The scenery across the bay was simply spectacular including the yachts, fishing boats, ferry and cargo ships
The muggle factor was high. Either tradies with building works, gardeners cutting and/or pruning, dog walkers, strollers and/or shoppers together with passing motorists
All caches found (13 in total) were found in excellent to good condition. Loved the variety in hides and I now have a better appreciation for the difficulty ratings due to the high muggle factor
As with the Bay Trail series, those caches missed (mainly due to high muggle activity) will be sought at a later stage and probably at a different hour of the day!
Many thanx to BorisB, Natasha & Nut bear for making my walk most enjoyable. Loving the series
(apologies for the generic logs)

When we first visited the area in August this year, we attempted some of the Bay Trail caches. We were impressed with the hides and wanted to come back to look for more in the BT and BTR series.
It took a few minutes to locate this cache. Our GPS wanted us on the opposite side but after we had no success where our GPS was pointing, we moved to the other side and made a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks BorisB&Natasha and NutBear for this hide and the many others in the series.

GPS had us on one side of the path then back on the other. Will try again next time I'm here
Couldn't find this cache today. My GPS would not settle so I searched for 15 minutes and will search again next time I visit Portsea.
After a frustrating search for a previous cache, it was with relief that we quickly spotted the likely camo which revealed the cache at 13:05. TFTC
Loving these will be sad to finish the bay trail! Thanks for all the hard work you put into making and looking after them
When I see all these dots, all perfectly lined up, I have this urge to just spend from the time the sun comes up to when it goes down. Before we set ourselves up for, I had a phone call from a fellow cacher, needing a push in the right direction. It was my pleasure to help as I know , how many valuable conversations we have had over geocaching. This is the right time for us to tackle these, especially being winter, as the warmer weather, so does the crowd. As we arrived early, we didn't look too suspicious. The boys were on fire today, with all of these hides & SPOT ON. Co-ordinates are hard to bet !!!!! Thanks for a great, well camoed hide.
Found tonight with Trailstevo on our first outing for many months. Planning to fix up the last group of cache on the bay trail. Just the stragglers left then. TFTC
another easy one, as soon as we got to GZ we knew where it would be and with 3 of us searching it didn't take long before thelolliemill had it in her hands and we were signing the log. TFTC!
Day 8 of our geoholiday in Victoria and today we are finishing off the remaining caches past Serrento as we ran out of light the day before, we encountered some very sneaky and well camouflaged caches along the way, We thoroughly enjoyed our trip here and look forward to returning one day to keep caching this lovely state, a huge thank you all the COs for placing these caches for us to find. TFTC
Another quick find on this one- even if I went straight past it first off!
Managed to find a tiny space to log out names- log needs to be replaced.

We started the morning well then they started to elude us later on in the day. Some igneous hides, some harder than others. Been a bit of a cooler day worked to our favour as muggles could have been more of an issue. Enjoyed this very creative trail . TFTC
Found with legoman9x while waiting for sky to turn dark before heading to point nepean. Tftc
Great walk along beach. Weather was really nice, amazing beach and perfect caches. Thank you for nice cache.
Over for the Melbourne Mega and collecting some caches along the way.
Really enjoyed the area and thanks to all the CO's for adding to the enjoyment of this trip.

Down from Canberra for a MEGA geo-getaway geomission
Today's mission was to head down the Peninsula to make a start on the Bay Trail caches along the sparkling coastline as well as any others along the way!
Wow! What an enjoyable series! I had so much fun finding all of these cleverly crafted, amazing containers! Some where quite easy to find whilst others where certainly a challenge and some I had to DNF due to time constraints - they were too clever for me!
Apologies for the generic logs-I found so many it's difficult to remember each one exactly! (yes-first world caching problem!)
Well done for an amazing series, BorisB&Natasha. Highly recommended!

After being here last weekend, we thought we'd come back for a few photos and get a few more of the caches at the Portsea end. We never found parking at a couple, but we're happy we go what we did in the end.
This was an easy find as we parked close to GZ.

Today I had to return some Blinds to a house in Sorrento at 10am and having a special job to do for friends on dark (wink wink), I had some time to fill in, so what better way than to cache.
It was a brilliant day for caching as the weather was not to hot but the sun was out.
Had only done 2 caches in this series and they both where joint ftf so it was time to go and grab the rest.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha and Nut Bear for the great series and cache.

One of over 100 caches found on a big day's caching on the Mornington Peninsula with some great friends.
There were many styles of hides and some of the containers were very cool indeed.
Thanks to all the CO's or placing them for others to find.
The caches found with Jabs and Budgietas were signed as JCB.

First or all sorry for the long log. Code 1, Budgietas and myself decided to do a caching trip / run and the Mornington area looked like a great place to start. So planes were hatched and we got together. This was the first cache of over a hundred we did in the 12 hour period of caching we had.
A well rounded style, type, size, shade and hides kept us guessing at every corner. So thanks for the cache and a reason to get out and about with a few mates for a day of endless adventure and fun.
Most of the caches we did were signed with JCB. J-Jabs C-Code1 and B-Budgietas.

Firstly, apologies for the late logging.
Found this with Leetalicious on a week's holiday on the Mornington Peninsula.
Today was our last day, so we decided to do a few down this end of the peninsula before catching the ferry across to Q'cliff.
Another in this series crossed off here, thanks again BorisB&Natasha
LOL, appropriate container for the song

Another ingenious set of caches. Unfortunately didn't have time to try and find them all, will be back to find the rest later. Thanks for sending Bogonghazy and I on another great adventure.
Quick find before almost getting sprung! Just made it! Got some funny looks- oh, well! TFTC
Another day on the Bay Trail. I can't imagine what its like doing this trail in the summer months.
Spectacular views of the bay from most places along the trail
There was such a variety of micro cache, some very clever & tricky hides.
Many of these caches deserve a favourite point but we have chosen only a few.
Thanks for placing this cache BorisB&Natasha

Took a little while to get the right spot as the gps was having an off day but then an easy find tftc
Been cooped up in the house too long, it's time to break free and get out and grab a few caches or maybe twenty. Headed down to Portsea chasing a D/T combination and then it all just flowed from there.
Hmm, couldn't find this on the walk up the hill because I was looking in the wrong place but not on my return trip I had just one more look, in another spot and vuala. Signed the log and skipped off down the hill.

Some of your hides are just plain sneaky.
Others are well crafted.
All of them are really a pleasure to find!

This one took a while - searched the rocks on wrong side of the path before spotting the hid in another spot. phew!
This time it was me who found this cache. The log was a little wet. Found in the company of quiet1_au on bikes. TFTC
Another clever hide along this incredible walking track. The log was very wet, and I left our spare logs and bags back in the car
Arriving at GZ (and having to reverse back a bit having overshot the mark a bit...) lochb and I dismounted from our metal ponies and set to work searching for the cache. The hint was clear but struggling to reach the most likely-looking spot (it's a jungle in there!...) I gave up and returned to the trail when lochb found the cache close by. The log sheet is quite wet so I gave up trying to use the biro and luckily had a waterproof felt-tip pen on me which worked better. TFTC
TFAnotherC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear. Neat camo! Found on a glorious autumn day on the peninsula. Jimmytherat.
It had been a while since I had been down to Point Nepean way so decided to load the bike and do some more of the BTC, BTU and BTR caches as well as some of the other caches in the area that were available. The weather prediction for the day wasn't great and although I did get caught up in a few showers while out and about, and it was quite cool and sometimes quite windy during the day, overall it wasn't as bad as it thought it was going to be. A good fun day with some pretty cool places visited, as well as some fantastic caches found. By the days end I had 50 finds and 2 DNF's, very happy with that.
For the caches along the strip here I parked in the car park at 'BTR - You raise me up' and decided to ride to the caches either way, back towards Portsea and then those towards Sorrento. Some great caches here and thanks.

Headed out this morning with my caching partner in crime sedgwickDave. we had not been caching for a while and decided to head down the peninsula to find a few of the Bay Trail Commissioned and Bay Trail Remixed Series. Dave had found some of them before but was happy to tag along for those. The weather was not looking the best while we were driving and started to rain quite heavily, so we stopped in Sorrento for an extended breakfast at one of the cafe's while we waited for the skies to clear.
I spied the possible hide from a distance and was spot on. A nice quick one here.
Thanks to BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for placing this cache. TNLN

Back on the trail with Ahomburg at long last. Having had a quiet caching month last month, it was time to get out there and find some caches.
Having now cleared out the caches on Point Nepean this morning we started on the BTR series, some impressive hides on this series which were great fun to find, impressive work. Some Nice houses spotted along the this segemnt of the trail today,
