Baby Birt flew over the bush, but did no good. Out geocaching today with Wandering Me. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment earthly65 and robbieracer66
DNF unfortunately! Wasn’t from a lack of trying we tried 3 different ways to get to the location, all were unsuccessful a description of where to enter would be awesome! Lots of thick Bush to get through and after a huge down pour last night I think this wouldn’t of helped! Try again next years TFTC
Tried for over an hour of Bush bashing. With a lot of rain over the last month, there is now a body of water and lots of overgrown bush covering any visible tracks.
Found this nice Cache together with Dino and Flintstones. Thank you for putting it out and maintaining it earthly65 and robbieracer66.
A nice walk with the family and Betty as well as Jackaathol and family. We made our round along the history track from the Emerald Beach entrance. This was a welcome side trip to the walk. A little adventure thrown in. The path needed some manoevering to follow but we found a way in.
The caches was soon spotted with good coordes at the base of the tree but the hint seemed to be out of date unless it referes somehow to the tree.
All in good order, little JAs liked it a lot and wanted more right away.
Thank you earthly65 and robbieracer66 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

earthly65 and robbieracer66, we didn’t find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasn’t for lack of trying though! After seeing a snake at the junction to the impossible to see trail, we (Kiwis) decided that this one wasn’t for us.
Our GPS took us to a different access point for this one than the one suggested. There looked like a perfectly good track there so Mr Beetle waited in the van while I walked to GZ.
Unfortunately I left this track and bush bashed my way to the clearing instead of following it a little further and having an easier walk to GZ. There were a lot of potential hiding spots at GZ but accurate coordinates led to a quick find.
Then it was back to the van via the easier way, but past the many large kangaroos that were grazing in the area. They watched me pass both times but didn't seem overly concerned about my presence. Did remember what to do if they attack though just in case.
Thanks.

Here we stayed for a night and so a couples of kangaroos, a whale and had a beautiful walk to this spot. Then there came the rain and we got a bit wet...nevermind...we are on holiday, no worries at all.

[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
Went to trailhead waypoint and no walking track to be seen and from there we bushed bash our way to GZ. It would have been easier to head straight west from the carpark as this was the way we head back to our car. How disappointing that the walking track has disappeared.

A beautiful morning for exploring the local bushland. Saw lots of roos and joeys which made it even more fun!
Doesn't look like the "something that doesn't belong" is still there.

First Geocache find for the family! Not sure that the hint helped this time. Now to go spot whales.
Found with BenLena2704 after a little walk into kangaroo land. Lot of roos in sight, what a lovely place. TFTC and the discovery !
after dnfing this one a few years ago i came back today to find it, a nice easy find today, and a wonderful little reserve. thanks

I was keen to explore the arwa so grabbing phone and pen i locked the door and set off for this cache. Half way along the path i realised i didnt have my keys with ne. Damn ive locked myslef out again . A quick phone call to those im staying with locally and i was soon back to following the dotted line. My friends are a tolerant bunch and im very lucky, of course there is always nrma to the rescue. Thanks for the adventure
7448 Located by baby&Mrs gopher in company with Emerald Butterfly at 1445. We had made the walk into this area this morning birding. Came back this afternoon to give Emerald Butterfly another cache find. The dam is quite dry so getting to the other side was easy. Lots of Roo's and Wallaby's still about even at this time. My 450th find!
Stayed in Emerald Beach last night, midpoint of a casual Sydney > Brisbane drive & cache, to visit my sister.
After a DNF at another cache nearby, I sent the parentals on their way, and headed up here.
Spotted a large grey roo sunning himself near the water. I immediately turned around and found another way in - being a lone bearded 6 foot male myself, things could have gone bad rather quickly.
He got up to have a look on my way back out from GZ, but seemed otherwise unbothered by my presence.
Easy enough find once at GZ, spotted another roo heading off into the scrub while signing the log.
Cheers!

A popular spot for strolling or even jogging today
Following the cache notes,
I soon left the traipsing tribes behind,
and headed into roo country
There are quite a few to be seen at the moment.
Possibly because the lake has water in it
Passing the olde hobo camp,
I was soon at GZ
A refreshingly quick find too [^]

Out checking some of the local beaches. Great place to check out some whales. While MrX was taking a break I headed towards the kangaroos. Said hello to a few on the way. Nice easy find. Left extra sheets of paper for logging. Don't want to go all that way without something to sign. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here. Now for those whales From Melbourne
Followed the Kangaroo path, which I nearly couldn't find back again. Saw loads of Kangaroos about, such a great sight.
We are on our hols from the UK.

For starters plenty of water now, haven't been up here for at least 12yrs, no log in cache only had pencil cache instructions and soveneirs. From a horticulturalist perspective that hint is spot on tftc
TFTC. After holidaying in the area for 10 days, the first rain of our stay blew in just as we approached the GZ. After wandering around we eventually found the cache. Also, pleased to see the abundant roos have plenty to drink in the waterhole.
Not sure the clue applies atm.

Found travelling north to Blues fest with company who had previously visited. Was being shown some of the beautiful area between canberra and Byron Bay. This is a late log so I think this was the one that had a disintegrated log???? Was very wet from rain. There seems to be a huge buck kangaroo that has a stake in territory here. Beautiful. TFTC
TFTC, well unlike a few other cache's in this area this one certainly will not get muggled. A nice walk in the light rain, I followed the kangaroo trails from the given W.P trailhead. Plenty of roo's about but most payed me no attention. But apon approaching GZ, I encountered a huge buck, well over 6 foot with his family with him right on GZ. I was'nt about to give up after coming this far in the rain, so I raised my arms and puffed out my chest and slowly moved forward staring him down. Even though he could kick my arse in a second he thankfully backed down and moved on. Have a F.P for the adventure of getting this cache.
Whoo hoo. Another obe to add to my numbers. A quick grab as we continue the journey. TFTC
6.30am and we were off to the first cache in our 25 unique D/T Combinations in a Day Challenge attempt. Past the waterway that even after rain was dry and lots of kangaroos. With such great co-ordinates we found the cache in the first place we looked. A great start to the Challenge, now only 24 more to go! TFTC earthly65.
Well this one had me tracking through some long grass and over grown bushes.
Not sure if I took the best path in or if I followed a kangaroo trail but I finally made it to gz where I made the quick find.
Thank goodness it was quick as light was starting to fade.

Travelling north to see my girlfriend Touchstone7 and bluesfest, decided to stop in and do a bit of caching along the way with my geodaughter.
Needed to do a little bit of cross country hiking for this one, but soon managed to locate the cache with little difficulty. On the way back a roo stopped and decided to see what we were doing, but after realising we didn't have anything to eat, he continued on his way.

Drove down from Brisneyland this morning and found myself here with Genghicat and muggle mum and a munchkin named Tomiqcat. What awesome weather the locals turned on for the long weekend
Muggle mum waited up on the track while we took the direct route to GZ. The cache was soon located in spite of the mysterious Hint A large kangaroo startled us on the way out and more of his mob were soon spotted in amongst the trees near the track.
On we rolled... (nice to have a navigator)

Travelling North to see Bluesfest, decided to stop in and do a bit of caching along the way. Ms Maddy was down from Qld, so we decided to take advantage of the good weather and team up together.

Camping nearby on our way home after visiting chocoholic trekkers to find this one. Thanks for enticing us to visit your wonderful area.
Next time I am looking for waypoints. Without it was an adventure.
Perfect cords.
Thanks for the cache

Nearly didn't bother after another DNF nearby. Hmm that one has now disappeared from the listing ...
Anyway made the effort and there it was! TFTC. Finishes off my caching on Coffs Coast.

I've never been to this part of Emerald Beach, thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks!
What a cachelocation !!! Roos all around !!!
We followed the path to the trailing point and than it was a bush walk; de kangeroos watched us and some jumped away. finally we got to the cache where two kangaroo-muggles stared at us as we logged. carefully we went back. Strange it is allowed to leave the path and head for the cache, but hey ... we love it !!!
Thanks for showing us this place. The kids loved it !!!

what a wonderfull place for a cache! loved all the roo's watching us, although I'm not convinced the roo's liked it that much that we invaded their country so deeply. but hey, WONDERFULL!
Couldn't find this one on our last trip but today the GPS took us straight to it. TFTC
Quick find after we went the wrong way around :/. After scaring off way to many giant kangaroos we finally made it to gz for a quick find. Thanks for the new cache. Found with Batdos and summerr123
It was warm today. Took Nothing Left nothing Slgned Log thanks for bringing me here . Cache all good
Really hot today, came to Emerald for a surf and to check on Berocca Bomber 6, parked at the listed coords, left the track at the listed coords and followed the 'roo poo all the way to GZ, a very well planned cache and a pleasant stroll although not a 'roo in sight, left a TB, on the way back to the car I spotted umpteen 'roos down by the water hole, gets a favorite point, TFTC earthly65!!
GeoWife1 and I took a couple of weeks to visit our son in Burleigh Heads QLD and of course you can't go traveling and not call in and look for a few caches along the way.
Staying at Emerald Beach overnight we decided to take a wander, it was up hill and down dale, spectacular scenery, plenty of wildlife and wonderful flowers along the way.
We had to veer off the man made tracks and head for the little nearby lake. Cache located, log signed.

While we were walking to this one a large male kangaroo started to hiss and growl at us and with the unprovoked attacks that have been occurring around the area recently we decided not to risk it.
A nice bit of bush bashing / walking to this one. We have big kangaroo's at home but we saw 3 HUGE ones here. Easy find TFTC
Enjoy a stroll down through the track towards the lake and on to the remote opening,no problems here.TFTC.
Found at 4:00 PM GAFF1. We enjoyed the stroll to GZ and we saw many kangaroos as well. As we approached GZ, we were full of anticipation as we thought this was going to be another one of those really tricky camouflaged hides, but we managed to diffuse all of that excitement straight away as we found the cache in the first spot that we looked in due to excellent co-ords.
Interesting that the pond is retreating given all of the rain the we have had recently - it must take an awful lot more to make a difference it seems.
Thanks earthly65.

Robbieracer66 and I had a wander out to GZ today after two logged dnf's but found the cache still in place...was very evident previous cachers had found GZ, footprints all around....sooooo close!...we will put up a hint for future cachers.
Search for this one for about 40 mins. Met snaphappy there. This one however may need a check as we search all locations within a 15 metre radius of this cache.
Had a good look & a prod around... A lot of hiding places & fading light... I shall return...
