Tftc first cache in the region. Out with Lego Lad and Lulu Rose. Greetings from Canada
Thanks for placingFound with buddies from Brisvegas on an adventure to Tablelands and surrounds
Today was a very early start with a drive to the airport for a 6 am flight to Cairns and day one of our North Queensland geocaching trip.Snickersallan and I were met at the airport by Grannysmith and Bluewattle. The bags were thrown into the car and we were off for a day of adventure. First off it was up to Kuranda, then across to Mareeba, down to Atherton and Millaa Millaa. It was then over to Innisfail before working our way back to Cairns, to arrive just in time for the night time event. It was nice to see a couple of locals turn up to the event, thank you.We are on the move and we stopped in here to grab this cache as we were passing. A nice easy find and the log was signed with all four names. It was then replaced as found. Thanks for the hide and the placement.
Travelling around the local districts with geo friends for a few days and enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way whilst visiting some places for the very first time.Thank you, CO, for placing this good hide for our benefit and enjoyment.
We carefully searched both picnic areas and the surroundings trees... could not find.
Nice evening for a walk (it's always a nice evening here ) and a cache hunt. Easy find. TFTC.
Good little spot! Found it quite quickly, the log inside is full and getting a bit ruined unfortunately. Thanks though I loved searching for it!
Found it after a good search, not sure it’s where it was supposed to be (or we couldn’t work out clues) but it isn’t very magnetic anymore. TFTC anyway. Find no 7 for Op AN!
Very fun spot with a surprise reward to it! There are hints in the message that took us a little while to figure out.
Home in Cairns now for a couple of months after 10months tripping around Australia. Attended Qogm in Cunnamulla and mega in Townsville great trip. Did your Picnic by the way today. 14 July 2022 3:20 pm Tyfc Rummaging_Remins, Adopted by Three Bees total caches now 4873 .
"Magnetic Mint Tins Seem To Be The Way To Go These Days."
LOL, they are generally disliked. They rust, leak water so that the log gets wet, the log gets shredded trying to remove it. At least this one had some cover. However, the logs are suffering, as mintie tin logs often do, and I struggled to write GW. However , you rated it correctly as a 'micro'. FTC Three Bees

After having a great time relaxing with muggle friends in Cairns it was time to get out before the predicted storms struck and were not sure which roads are going to be closed so we filled up with supplies and let geocaching (especially adventure labs) guide us.
We have stopped at a few banana trailers since we have been here and have enjoyed the produce each time so we decided to stop and replenish before leaving town and also spotted that there was a cache not far from it so after waiting for a car load of customers to move off we headed off to gz where we searched a lot of wrong places first and then happily found the little container safely tucked away in it's hide. After adding our name to the log we returned everything as it was and then wandered back for our potassium sticks.
Thanks for the quick stop.

Stopped by to buy some bananas and I went looking this cache. A relatively quick find so now back to the car for a feed of bananas, yummm.

Spent the day caching with limited success. This one was a nice way to end the day. TFTC
Nice! Quick and easy and we got a pie and some bananas too, so win win win! TFTC.
On our way back to our van but couldn’t resist stopping for just a few last minute caches. Good coords made for a simple straight forward find in a logical spot.
Yesterday we traveled north for the day from where we are staying our nieces place at Kewarra, so today we decided to go south, picking up caches on the way. We really understand why people up here say they live in paradise. We have seen beautiful parks and magnificent beaches with some amazing houses on are drives around northern Cairns. It really is a slice of heaven.
Thanks to all the local CO’s who have taken us on this journey. We appreciate your efforts in placing and maintaining all of your caches, and we have loved the journey.
