The car park had a few people coming and going, but was fairly empty on this Sunday morning. In the end stealth wasn't really required as the container was just sitting there in full view as the magnet is missing. This could use a check by the CO.
Thanks to jaredanco for placing this cache.
Thanks to jaredanco for placing this cache.
We did not have much trouble finding the container but due to there being no magnet on it we replaced as we found it. It appears that the magnet needs to be connected to the cache container again? Rather a busy area as usual this am.

Found today while in the area.
Nice little find here though it was exposed on top of the actual unit and full of water.
Thanks for the cache.

Had looked for this one sometime ago to no avail. Today i was in Bannockburn and to the supermarket and as i was walking along the path something out of the corner of my eye grab my attention. Hmm that looks like a cache lying on the ground. And so it was. It had obviously come adrift of its hiding place. Anyhow log signed and i'll send a note to owner.

Hi found this one today lying on the ground. It and its means of attachment had become separated. Will put back out of sight but it will need attention

What a sneaky hide. I just hope no one was watching me and my antics as I searched for this one. Thanks for the challenge jaredandco
Had to have a second "look" and this time got it .... it had to be there and yes it was! TFTC
Not many people around, but still had to be careful as they came from all directions. Had to have a second look for this one. It just had to be there! And it was! TFTC
We've only ever used Bannockburn as a navigation point on our way elsewhere; with some time up our sleeves we decided to change that today. Despite a few muggles wandering past we were able to make the find undisturbed.

Got down low and eventually spotted the cache. Found with vaja1, thanks jaredanco.
Out caching today with McLookers. Found this one with no muggles looking on.
Thanks jaredanco for the cache.
Thanks jaredanco for the cache.
We looked high we looked low up down and around and eventually found the cache in the first place we looked
A geo road trip to Geelong with wozzle68 saw us stop and pick up a few caches around Bannockburn. Definite cache blindness today. The third look I finally spotted it! Many thanks for the cache
Quick find using geosense. Just a groove out of place though so replaced closer to GZ. CIGC TNLN TFTC.
On a previous attempt this location was too busy with trucks unloading and lots of curious people about. Sunday morning at 9am was blissfully quiet and with a quick peek we were able to spot and retrieve this cache. TFTC
With pleasant weather, we decided to head to Bannockburn for a day of caching. Many thanks to the owners for placing and maintaining the caches.
A quick dash and grab here after lunch. Thanks jaredanco!

Headed into town for a couple of hours of caching with Ketchthor. Didn't know much about the place until we arrived - it was good to pick up some local knowledge as well as the caches. There were quite a few roadworks going on - and some kind of Police road check in town, both of which prevented us accessing some of the cache locations. Never mind though, we still found a few. Thanks to everyone as usual. Your efforts really are appreciated. Thanks.
Another day geocaching with AutumnTree and our respective GeoKids in order to mark off another date on our geocaching calendars. The GeoKids were very keen to visit the Playgrounds of Bannockburn, which was encouraging since they were tired and cranky after a sleepover last night.
When we arrived here we'd found two of the Playgrounds caches and the Farmers Market, and I realised that this would be cache #900! After a brief search and not finding this one a year ago, surely I could log a find now?
AutumnTree and I both perhaps made this one harder than it needed to be. There is a very likely spot after all and that is where the cache was very securely hiding.
Log signed and all replaced as found.

After being here twice in the past and failing both times it was nice to finally find this cache. MaggieDot has a different service and her GPS often points to a different spot to mine, and hers was the right one this time. I had (of course) just looked where MaggieDot then found the cache (I hate that). Just happy to turn this tricky hide into a smile on my map. Congratulations to MaggieDog on reaching another milestone. TFTC.
After coming back twice and some help from a friend we finally found this tricky one, coords were a little off though TFTC
To tell the truth, we have been here before, unsuccessfully. This time we really wanted to find it. We went in circles, even sought safety in numbers (two extra cachers were with us, 08151605 and Team indiana08), but to no avail. To top off the annoying situation, we noticed the not-so-pleasant aroma coming from the rubbish enclosure.
During lunch, we happened to bump into a friend (didn't even have to PAF!), who could give us a helping hint. Lo and behold, after that Indiana08 made the find for all of us. What a relief! A hard-earned smilie.

Eagle eyes McLookers found this while I was trying to look like I belonged there. I was walking around with an empty coffee cup in my hand and trying to look like I needed a rubbish bin.

Both our GPS units took as to a parking sign on the edge of the road. When the cache was not located, we widened our search area and soon found the cache, about 7m from where our GPS units thought that the cache should have been located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks jaredanco for the cache.
The satellites weren't my friend today but there was one obvious place to look and sure enough it was there.
Eyes on me the whole time with maintenance worker fixing a lift or something in the adjoining bin station. Found a big metal box which had some interesting rims to explore but not today. Return again to continue the Bannockburn and Christmas specials. TFTH McPhail Family.

After finishing the " Twelve Days of Caching " series, I decide now was a good time to grab these hides. Being dark, I doubted there would be many people out and about. A brief search and I added my name to the log. TFTC jaredanco:)
Angel Boy with Billman bunch returned to quickly find this one. First time we spent an hour and found nothing.
Found by Mary & David at 1545. We stopped but Mary was not allowed inside or opposite. She loves shopping and all shops have different bargains, don't they? Surprised that this one was fairly easy for this time of the day. Nobody out in the street, Able to use features in the environment to provide cover for a stealthy grab. Our thanks to jaredanco.
And on the Seventh day of my geocaching holiday I reached 7000 finds! I thought today would have ben a bit more relaxing, but since I had ran out of power trail caches (only 14 of them today) I had to travel around a fair bit. Inverleigh, Teesdale, Bannockburn, Lake Conneware and the last bit of the G2Q trail to find the last 62 caches.
And the big buld up to my milestone find was a let down as I found out from a recent log that the cache was missing! So I had to make another descision on what cache it would be.
In the end I had time on my bike and lots of airconditioned car driving to make the trip easier.
Thanks for all the caches!

A quick and easy find as we cache our way through the area with mcsee&petal today. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
A nice quick drive by here, the GPS put us fairly close here.
Thanks jaredanco for this placement.

Took a geo-adventure with Bogonghazy, SorceySal and the geodogs. Fantastic adventure with lots of caching along the way. Big thanks to SS who did all the calculations and drove. BH and I did the searching and digging. What turned into a lovely day presented us with a large haul and great fun. Thanks for adding to our adventure.
Out and about for the day with Sorceysal, testing her new Rav4's limits, also Leetalicious, and of course the 2 geodogs just had to come along for the ride/run.
GPS had us a few metres away, but common sense lead us straight to it.
Thanks jaredanco

Out and about with Bogonghazy, Leetalicious and of course Tess and Work to give the new geo vehicle a bit of a test. It behaved beautifully on these roads. As I had solved the puzzles, it was only fitting that BH and LL did the running. That was my reasoning anyway. LOL
Thankfully being Sunday there weren't too many shopping. The GPS had a a few metres away but common sense kicked in and we had the log signed. Thanks jaredanco

Today we needed to fill in a spot on our calendar and we are starting to struggle to get caches close to home. This was and a few other here in Bannokburn are the closest ones left for us to find.
Sims_family mum set me a mission to find this one as she had previously had a go at it unsuccessfully. Once at GZ Miss 10 and I went to work trying to locate the sneaky little thing. My GPS device wasn't playing friendly at all. It was jumping all about and I couldn't get it anywhere near to zero. The temperature was falling quickly no it was dark and I was struggling to find anything so I used a PAF. That at least set me in the right direction at least. Miss10 then found it pretty quickly after the PAF. The GPS had me about 8-9 meters away from the listed coords.
Thank you jaredanco for the smiley

I shop here all the time and I knew here was a geocache nearby but hadn't got around to loading the co-ords onto the GPS. Was here with a friend's daughter who excitedly showed me exactly where it was hidden! Not sure if that counts as a genuine 'found it' log but I signed the log anyway. Geokid is now excited that one of her friends can go geocaching with us. Suddenly it's exciting again!
On the way home after meeting up with a few Geelong teams for a catch up lunch, I decided to divert in here. Being 4pm on a Sunday I thought this would be a non muggle zone today, how wrong I was. Only had to wait a few moments between cars coming and going, to have a shot at the one place I suspected while I was waiting in the car. Bingo! Added to the log book, a check of the surrounds and replaced quickly. Thanks to jaredanco for the hide.
GPS was jumping around and while I was still trying to zone onto it, wespro had it in hand. Nice hide
On a geocache with SueHut, who led us to the general location. She began looking at a bush, whereas I took a punt on a different object. With dusk descending, visibility was "not good". I stuck my hand blind into a likely spot, and "hey presto!" Luck's a fortune.
Ran into The Coffee's at this gz and lucky for me because I would have to give it a miss because of the sneaky hide and the muggles . TFTC .
Stopped for coffee at the pub had a look at the while one more since it's only 170 meters away, once again Mr Coffee had the honors of funding the cache and we only had to wait for 2 miggles to leave,

Almost DNF. Found at the coordinates - an evil hide! Height definitely an advantage. Late night searching recommended. TFTC
Busy doesn't even come close! There's a bloke in a commercial truck right on top of it, showing no signs of moving, apart from the coming and going. Later...

We were around Bannockburn today, doing some things that needed to be done. After all was completed, I decided to find a few local caches. This was the first of the two caches we looked for. After walking back to the car, dropping off some things, we continued heading this way and began to search. We looked high, low, around here, not in there, in every nook and cranny before turning up trumps. I stealthily retrieved the cache, signed the logbook and replaced it as I found it. We walked back to the car, trying not to act suspicious and headed off.
Thanks jaredanco for a fun cache.
Took: Nothing
Left: Nothing
All in good condition. Coordinates were right on the mark for me!
Well done.

Out in bannockburn picking up something for my sister and thought I would attempt a few caches.
Hmmm. Nope not there. Nope not there. Read logs. Nope not there. Keep looking. After a few minutes dog-gone approached and gave me a kick in the right direction soon had the cache in hand. Co-ords out a bit.
Log signed and replaced.

On the way home from a meeting in Beaufort, we made a slight detour from the main road and very quicky had the cache in hand, without being sprung by muggles. Satellites today had the GZ 6m N of where we found the cache.

Struggled real hard with this one will have to go back a different day for a better look.. again!
I had an early start today and then with a little time to spare this morning , I thought I'd see if there are any caches around.
Well I'll be !!!!...there's one 12 metres away.

We were at home enjoying a great Father's day morning when we were deciding what to do for the day. We drew up a checker board with lots of different ideas and decided on that a dolls house pet pig would decide what to do. The first roll came up on Find treasures [^] can't deny that. We had visit the Moorabool chocolate shop on there three times so even though we didn't roll that, we wanted to visit. Ding. Email went off, Woo! Father's day FTF up for grabs. Well it's in the direction we want to go so I grabbed everyone and off we went in the Geo vehicle. After a successful FTF hunt, we stayed in the area for some playtime and to look for the other caches in town. This was the next on the list and last of the day for us. We parked the geo vehicle across the road and I went it. I was very surprised by how quickly I found this one. Stamped and replaced as found.

Found today at 1900.
Not many muggles as they all park up near the entrance coz it's so dark and scary down the other end of the carpark.
Nice easy find as the cache was lying on the ground in plain view.
Log was signed and I retrieved the other part of the cache and did a temporary repair.
Aaaaah gaffa tape.. is there anything you cannot fix????
However.. this is only a temporary repair as the cache owner needs to put a decent amount of glue instead of what the manufacturer put in.
Thanks for the cache,

Sorry for the late log.

My hand felt this little number.
I retreated and signed the log before moving on.
