I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Goodie7110
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

a hot day, before going to the beach we stopped here, as recommended, we didn't read logs. At GZ, it was clear what we had to do, and he three of us made good use of our water, but it didn't work, we blocked all leaked but still, no moving. We resorted to read logs and understood it was not working as intended. So we took another way to grab the first container and didn't sign the first log. We couldn't make sense of the paper, so looked around. As we head back to the car, we found stage 2, obviously broken too. Lots of swaps, container and logbook in good condition, but all the mechanism fall apart. A bit sad, not sure the owner is still active, as its last visit was in October 2019.
Found the mini cache and the camo cache. Once the mini was found PositiveTuna and i realised what the water was supposed to be used for. Don't know what the laminate sheet was supposed to have on it so we kinda stood around for a while before deciding to go snooping about. after a few mins later something caught out attention where the second cache was finally found.
Lots of swappables in the cache.
Lots of swappables in the cache.
Did go out to try our luck even if it was getting dark. Found stage one quickly and got to work. Sadly there is several issues with it. After 4 liters had gone down the drain, I tried a reversed technique and succeeded. Puh!
Hints to the second stage were not really readable, especially at night, and we were relatively sure, parts are missing... Decided to call it quits and go back to the car, when Wilbywarrior decided to go out on a hunch and at least try for the most likely spots. Strike! Found the cache as signed the log. I feel we worked for it and earned the signing.
TFTC dragon gem, but please do some maintenance, as previously suggested.

Found the first part of this multi in the dark without issue. After a few attempts we were close but unsuccessful. malinkaly tried a different method and the waypoint was retrieved. Someone has placed a log here but we knew we had more to do. We couldn’t work out what was required here and other logs suggest there was something missing. With it being late and more caches on our list to do we decided to call time on this one. Something made my geosenses prick up and we investigated. The cache location was revealed, Yay! We signed the log and we were on our way again.
Malinkaly and I planned a road trip to go to the MEGA but Covid has postponed the event again. We decided to continue on with our planned journey making adjustments as we go with the ever-changing travel restrictions.
Greetings from Dunedin!
Thanks for the cache, Goodie7110

TeamBOP are together again after lockdown decided to head to Gisborne for a day trip we have a list of 60 caches to get today. TeamBOP consists of myself, McJandals, Squirrel Nutcase and Fap and Gap. Had an early start of 4am today arriving into Gisborne at 730am. Thanks for all the hides. Found this broken on the ground we have tied back up so hopefully will work as intended. May need checking.
With (Mr) Davidson clan, Gap (of Fap and Gap), and McJandals. We planned a Gisborne roadtrip in August to get a jump on the Reach the Peak challenge, but Covid-19 lockdowns stuffed up our plans. As soon as levels allowed for it, our outing was back on the table. Today’s one-day mission meant getting up and away by 4AM…
On paper, this looked like a surefire favourite. However, we arrived to discover one part of the hide broken and on the ground. After a quick tidy up, we found that the overall multi no longer works as intended. This needs attention and it seems to have been flagged by other cachers for some time. Thanks dragon gem and TFTC.

this cache needs repairs to it.
found in bits on ground. fixed back to fence the best we could.

A plan was hatched recently to hit the Gisborne area this weekend. Nice to get away after the recent lockdown and grab some smiles. Signed logs Team BoP to save room on log sheets.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

This one was awesome. Took us a good 15+ minutes and we got caught in the rain but worth it!
Went back 2C if maintenance had been carried out on part of the GC to be able to get the clue for the rest so one could finish the search!!!!
Sorry it still needs attention.
But if one can work out the beginning then with a bit of research like myself, one could find the GC, Good luck

Omg yay! TFTF! It was raining but we (hudz95) put our heads together and got this figured out in about 15 minutes.
Found this one quickly. In desperate need of some help. Stage almost completely gone.
This had been a planned trip in the company of HKCB to Whangarei but as the weather wasn't the best in the north we thought we would bring this trip forward and head over here to see what we could locate as neither of us had done a whole lot around this area.
Leaving home 7pm Friday evening and returning by midnite Saturday, 954kms travelled and approx. 70 caches located along with about 8 DNF's.
Thanks to all the CO's whom have put out these caches for us and completing the maintenance to keep them going.
The start of a new day and after a few hours sleep it was time to see what we could find with the real challenge being the new virtual as that was a primary goal for the trip. With the light up and no rain the day was looking good for a few caches. We had the required equipment and a bit of work we were off to the final. Quickly worked out and logbook signed
Thank you for the placement, thanks for the cache.

This weekend had been booked into headed to Whangarei with Cats&Dragons for a bit of caching, but as the weather wasn't looking flash at all, so we decided to head East instead to Gisbourne as we both hadn't done much caching in te area. Leave home about 7pm Friday, and returning home midnight Saturday meant we got a fair bit of caching time in for the limited time we had. All up we found just under 70 caches in total, so a big thanks for all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches we found on this trip.
This cache was a pleasant surprise for the day. As I hadn't done my homework on the caches in the area, I didn't know anything about this multi until we pulled up to GZ. Luckily we were well pepared and had what was required with us. The first stage took a little bit to get it sorted, but from then on it was all straight forward. Thanks for the well constructed cache.

Had so much fun doing this cache with my little sister. We live 2 streets away and never knew this one was here. Bloody brilliant planning went into this and we screamed a little too loud when we were finally successful. Has been a conversation starter ever since. Thank you to the owner of this cache for all the effort and fun you put in.
Day 2 of a 3 day roadtrip with jgirl1880. Came prepared with 3 1.5L bottles of water but wasn't enough the first time due to all the holes. We returned a few more times before going to the car to get out our emergency nursing kit.. There is nothing a bit of tape and bandages can't fix! Holes patched up and we got the tools out easy. We already knew where part 2 was as I had spotted it on our walk back from refilling our bottles. Reading the sticker on it, I was out, there's no way I was getting that one so jgirl1880 said she would. She changed her mind when we opened it and a million critters came pouring out. A few minutes later she eventually couraged up and pulled it out. Thanks for the adventure, we enjoyed part 1 heaps! Part 2 however...
Have a love hate relationship with this cache. Absolutely loved part one. Took way longer than it should have to get the tubes. There were a few leaks in one of the pipes. Used a few nursing tools to plug the hole, luckily I never go anywhere empty handed. Did not enjoy part two. Lucypear managed to spot the cache before we had even completed part one whilst refilling the water bottles but persevered anyway to get the tubes. Not a fan of bugs. Jumped way too high, but eventually plucked up the courage to put my hand in and sign the log.
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
Holidaying for a couple of weeks in NZ to do a bit of sight seeing and catch up with family. We have been from Auckland to Tauranga to Hicks Bay, the East Cape and Tolaga Bay and are now heading to Napier! This cache was on my list as it has a number of favourite points, looks to be a little different to most, and has been sitting unloved for over a year.
We pulled in and walked to GZ with our water bottles (plus a few other items that we thought may be of use). I noticed the containers and we soon had one item with half of the clue. We began pouring water and realised there were a few more leaks than I think the CO intended. I used some of the stuff I'd brought along to help limit the leakage. We then poured a good amount of water and I decided to blow and help speed the process up and sure enough, something popped up. It had a stack of bugs and sludge with it but I guess that's what happens with 13 months of loneliness. We then had the second half of the clue and were able to work out what to do next.
We wandered to the final coordinates and after fluffing about for a while we worked it out and opened the cache. Well Jess squealed and ran, and I laughed and leapt back. There were eleventy-billion earwig bugs living inside the cache container. Talk about bug city! After they had departed I opened the cache and signed the log. Indeed, ours is the only signature in a very long time. Sad, considering it's a fabulously crafted cache! It could use some loving maintenance but otherwise is all pretty good.
Thanks for the clever multi cache, dragon gem. I'm giving it a favourite point for the sheer cleverness of the creation of it all.

Log of mod22h encouraged me to try and do things a tad differently. Name is now in the book!
There is quite a bit of leakage from both sides, it took us three goes with three people and a bucket to complete. Also the instructions (I assume that's what they were) to find the final have worn away. It was only by accident I found it. I would have given it a favourite had it been working correctly.
We travelled to Gisborne for a two day speedway meeting. This took us a while to complete as we also had problems with leakage. But with three people we managed to get it in the end. Tftc.
We had a couple of litres of water with us but there was quite a bit of leakage from the bottom of the RHS pipe so ran out of water before anything happened. May need some maintenance.
Extremely fun cache that had us stumped at each obstacle but the two of us worked it out together true team work. This is a cache everyone should do because of to challenge, laughs and frustration. Thanks for an amazingly well created cache. Fav point from us
Swung by to drop off a Travel Bug that wants to go 'Anywhere" Anyone going anywhere? You may like to take this cute wee bug with you.
As a bonus the Museum was open and we got to have a look around - a first for us!

Two cachers,
To Gisborne.
Too keen? We've come from Hamilton for this!
Two visits, we couldn't risk not getting it at the right time.
Two taps, but only one gives water.
Two bottles,
Twenty-two litres, because there are...
Two leaks!
Too stubborn - something was stuck.
Too frustrating!
Two muggles - a passing airport guy checking on our suspicious behaviour and another Dave (that makes
two with steed)- an aviation museum volunteer who helped and now knows all about it.
Too long! but finally -
Stage two!
Too tight.
Two gentle wedges - and yes!
Found at 2.22pm on 22nd!
2,222nd cache!
Two smiles! (But only one smilie)
Two hard-working dwarves for swag (and a TFTC key ring)
Tutu for the photos (just one, but stood next to Desmond ....)
Two photos (Dave the muggle took some)
Too good!
Two very happy cachers!
Two favs at least! But sorry, we can't.

This is on our watch list as we are coming to Gisborne for a weeks holiday, specially to do this cache.
I realised that another milestone, our 2,222nd cache is on the horizon, so asked on Facebook if anyone had suggestions for a suitably named celebration cache and this was suggested - it really sounds apt and also sounds more fun than a traditional cache.
We have done other caches which sound similar to the first stage, but we aren't sure what we are up against in the final stage, so may suss it out the day before, as it would be awful to have to DNF it! It will also then be our second visit and now I see this cache has its second owner, perfect! I hope to do it on the 22nd (of course) and would love to do it at 22 mins past 22hr, but haven't talked to steed about that part yet!
Now we have to get caching in the next few weeks as we still have 50 odd caches to find before then!

This was AMAZING! I loved it!!! I didn't realise I hadn't logged it, but it is one of my most favourite caches ever! If you haven't done it - you are missing out!!! Thanks Dragongem
Yay thanks for another wondeful cache. Were a bit confused with what we were doing with the water but found cache container easily. I love big containers ! Dropped off geo coin and picked up ferby travel bug.
Two of us soon had it sorted, had to admire the clever engineering ingenuity for the design of both WP1 and the final. We appreciate the time and effort to create such a brilliant cache, many thanks for the fun multi.
Found the final before getting the clues but had to wait till we were able to get both tools. Thanks for the cache.
This cache was a lot easier today and we managed to get the log signed.
Luckily W.E.K.A opened the cache container, because I probably would have broken it.
Great cache. Well put together and lots of fun to complete.
Thanks.

Thanks to prompt action by the owner, today everything at this nicely designed cache was working, albeit a bit leaky in one place, and we quickly obtained both clues, and headed in the direction of the equally nicely designed final. We eventually sorted out where to apply the tools, and extracted the logbook. Found with markhnz. Definitely worth a favourite. TFTC
Thanks for getting this sorted so quickly, got the first clue again quite quickly but the second clue was a bit trickier until we realised why this takes two. Many bugs to contend with this morning at the final. Many thanks for the cache. Favorite point given.
This cache was a disappointment, as it sounded interesting. We quickly obtained one clue, but despite trying several different techniques, we failed to find a second clue which we felt we needed.
gone and had a look, a muggle has had some fun with it and pushed mud down the pipe, so got rid of it and now working, do have to go back tomorrow and give the bug trap a spray, is working a little to good and a couple of hundred bugs have moved in, spray will make them move out tomorrow
Seemed like a cool cache, but we could only find one clue, so didn't find the final.
Thanks.
Thanks.
This is the most Super, Fantastic, Amazing, Cool, Fun and intriguing cache I have seen! It has it all! Fun, adventure, two part mysteries and a pot of gold at the end of it! So great to get a decent sized cache for Travel Bugs. In honour of which, we have parted company with Little Penguin. If he doesn't get a lift to his next warm destination (Nelson, Rio, Samoa?) we'll take him back to the big smoke and hope he heads some nice place on his way back to Canada.
Dragon Gem, this was an inspiration! I can't wait to share stories about it with the Cubs, and maybe we can pilfer some of your ideas for our first cache
If you are in Gisborne and haven't done this one yet, you really should! It is a great family cache. My son Love, Love, Loved it! He has been buzzing since we found it and donated two of his caching toys to the pot.
Like Taybee I only wish I could give it more favourite points than just one - this cache is a 100 out of 10 cache!

FTF Found IT TAKES TWO with Mr Chillipips, Yay! ..and it did indeed, two of all Went early in the morning - would have gone last night when published if it wasn't so cold out armed with the necessary. A very clever and interesting cache which we thoroughly enjoyed, and no doubt visitors in and out of district will too.
Thanks very much for a good challenge and a very ingenious and well executed cache - thanks for all your careful preparation of it! Dragon gem, this one is a gem!
Visited some TBs and will return at a later stage to leave some for travel to other areas.
TFTC, cheers

FTF! found with Shellnz on cold crisp morning. Very interesting multi which we enjoyed and found with mutual cooperation A Good one! Thanks much.
