I was still not feeling so well, so did not go too far. just three nearby drive by cache today before heading back to the van to rest in the shade.I stuck mu head in the likely spot and found a cache that is different from what was described, but there was a log so I signed it.Thanks for the cache Lumpyjrb48977.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2007 July Signal A#93**Albida**
Kiwinic and myself are on a bit of a half trip around oz. Caching as we go! Another quick find and the final on the run. TFTC
Quick find here today waiting for the tourist information centre to open. Thank you. ??
Big thanks to Lumpyjrb for placing this cache. Cache number 9444 on June 29, 2024
Although the cache may have evolved from its original form, the thrill of discovery remains unchanged. To fellow geocachers traveling this path, may you find joy in the hunt and treasures aplenty. Happy caching!
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, a nice quick find, thanks for placing it
Log very hard to extract. Gets stuck behind magnet and tears. Probs need a better set up but TFTC.
An easy find, while waiting for car repairs to be finished across the road. RFTC!
Travelling with iluvtrekking and after spending twelve days in Darwin are now caching Katherine and surrounds. The thread of the nano was stuffed and log full so we replaced with a mint tin. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and returning through the centre to SA and home again. Today, we are exploring Katherine and picking up some caches as we go. Thanks, the cache was damaged so we replaced it.
Second cache of the day with BLM1973, shame the micro cache was seized so that we couldn't sign the log Regardless, TFTC
Almost gave up, the sun was giving it extra camouflage! sneaky nano, TFTC! found with theboat11
After checking in at our hotel in Katherine we had lunch and we’re able to cool down enough to go on a second caching round for the day before grabbing a maccas burger in the carpark for dinner. It’s very hot during the day here and even the 5pm sun had a serious bite to it. We came from pine creek this morning. TFTC
This one was fused shut but I found it in good condition otherwise.

Last full day in Katherine today, were bugging out sometime in tomorrow morning (heading for Mataranka) so it’s revisit time to the Cutta Cutta Caves and then some geocaching around town. Might squeeze another swim in at the hot springs in as well it time permits.
This one needs maintenance, I signed the container on the magnetic base but I could not open it, looks like someone has used pliers on it and damaged the cap.
**Thanks for placing this cache Lumpyjrb**

We’re all going to Whittlesea to participate in Victoria’s next Mega!
*Are you coming to join in the fun?*

Your poor cache, sounds like it was doomed from the beginning, its always disappointing when a cache goes missing but then your tree goes as well, of dear! We havent been to a Mega event, they sound like fun, we think Adelaide is having one in the Leap Year so that may be the one we get to. There was going to be one where we lived in the South East of SA but Covid came and postponed it and by the time it happened we had moved away.
Thanks Lumpyjrb for another cache, found it, signed it and replaced safe and sound as found.

This needs a proper nano log in it. Someone has just folded paper & it's terrible to retrieve, write on, then try put back.
A quick find. I signed GW. Admiring the gum trees here. The gum trees are greener and lighter in colour than the trees back home in the Canberra region. TFTC Lumpyjrb.
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australia and down the coast of W.A. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can enjoy finding it.

A nice easy find. The log was basically a 5mm piece of wet paper, so we replaced it with a fresh strip of paper (not a proper scroll)… this will keep it going for a while. TFTC
TFTC. We were unable to sign the log as there was only a tiny piece of paper left. Have sent photo to CO

We are now onto this size hide in these structures
Thanks Lumpyjrb.

Travelling again with ilook4geo and heading north to pick up some of the caches around the Katherine region. This was one we found after a quick search, the log was signed and all was replaced as found. Thanks go to Lumpyjrb for placing this cache.
Hunting along with goingplaces2 and picking up caches they have not done before. Enjoyed each discovery and adding names to each log where possible. TFTC.
After attending the mega in Townsville we are now heading for Darwin. First a couple of nights in Katherine at the Riverview cp. This was one of the caches we targeted and found. Thanks lumpyjrb for arranging the hide. Had to work on getting the lid off it had been cross threaded. All good now.
Found but unable to unscrew so left an eclipse with log sheet until cachers owner can do maintenance on cache
I found the cache, but the screw lid is cross threaded and it is impossible to open, so I took a photo instead.
Found today with petebev, 2beez and 2As as we hang around Katherine on our holiday picking up caches.
Nice little power trail
Thanks Lumpyjrb
Nice little power trail
Thanks Lumpyjrb
Found it…..we had to use some tools from the car to open it as it was cross threaded when last closed. Should all be good now for future finds. . Note the list has a bit of water damage
I couldn’t open this one. Someone with pliers might assist here.
It may be cross threaded.
