Hi. A newbie geocaching friend of mine attempted this cache today and was told off by the people who state they own the land here. They were very aggressive towards “the geocachers” and I note from a previous log that the cache itself was removed by them. This cache will need reviewing. Thanks ??
Cache was placed on public grounds originally. Was moved about a bit and someone from the local church/hall has since removed it.
On our way from Ballaarat to Bendigo we made a short stop to go for ths cache. We had to search for a while until we could find the right rock. Just when we were about to sign the logbook the landowner arrived and was quite upset, because she didn't know, that there is a cache placed on her property.
We explained her what geocaching is about, but she didn't want to let us replace the cache again, as there were already many geocachers picking rocks from their wall and destroying it. She took the cache away and we told her, that we will inform the owner.
The cache is not at it's place anymore.
Regards from Switzerland.

Was a bit concern when I arrived at GZ, however a slow and steady approach was used and eventually all was good and the cache was in hand. Log signed and I was on my way again.
Thanks jiwilly....
Thanks jiwilly....
5 minutes was all the olds would give us to find this one, no such luck, maybe next time
Very clever! Well camouflaged! Unfortunately the paper log was very wet so we didn’t sign it today
We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC
Well that looked like a challenge as i approached gz but i managed to find the cache without tearing my hair, cool

On my way to the Wangaratta Mega and picking up a few caches along the way. I know that I will stop too many times as I travel and end up in Wangaratta very late indeed! This was a nice simple find for the first of the day. Thank you!
We had trouble finding the hiding spot but we were determined! After a through look over, we finally located the cache, yay! The paper inside was a bit wet though so had trouble signing. Thanks for the fun and rewarding hide.
After doing stuff in Ballarat today, I meandered around a few lab caches. Then carved up the drive back to base with some caching. Hoping for more sunny days and fewer nights.

Out for a mental health break. Checking out the area and some caches. Great spots. Thanks for placing the cache. TFTC
With visions of another (infamous) cache with rock in the name, I looked at this one with some trepidation.
But, once my GPS settled it was a quick easy find.

TFTC. At last a smiley for this cache, found by hubby. A enjoyable day out with Aussie fun Seakers and my hubby. You have earned a favourite jiwilly.
A very fun and special cache for us. Lovely to find our 500th cache at a friends cache too! TFTC Willy’s!
Day two of carkisser and JSando escape the kids and we’re out in the rain. Thanks for a quick find. TFTC
Re-enabling as restrictions have eased - still yet to find a suitable time to check on cache but will enable for now - stay safe!
Due to the current situation across Australia - we are choosing to temporarily disable our caches until deemed safe. Thank you for your understanding.
We needed to head across to catch up with family before we are all placed in lockdown. Only time for a couple of caches.
We've looked for this one previously so it was nice to find it today
TFTC jiwilly it was nice to be out and about for a bit.

Found by Mary and David at 08:15. After 2 Events in Ballarat yesterday, we're now heading to Seymour for another one. Really like the wrought iron cutouts. Great camo. too, with just enough difference so the find was reasonably quick. Our thanks to jiwilly.
Updated chords helped, as a supernatural fan I loved the name of the town. DEAN.

Will be out to check on posted co-ords soon as they were only updated a little while back after a few muggled containers - fear someone may have cache creeped in that time. I will come by shortly to confirm.
Thank godddd for the updated coords by Perpertuallylost! Saved me sooo much time.
Pulled up after a big morning hike in Bungal and at first admired the sign, then shuddered at the rocks. Set about the search, which thankfully was quick. A really cool container. Thanks for placing this one.

Found today with Mrs Perpetuallylost assisting. Couldn't find this one last time i was here in November so I was determined to find it today. I found this one eventually, after a long search, but a long way from your posted coords which had us on the edge of the driveway.
Our coords are S37 27.988 E143 58.855.
I would also add that a lot of disturbance has happened on the corner of the rockwall and has partially collapsed. Do not search near the corner, cache is not there.
Great camo cache nonetheless, thx jiwilly for placing.

A last minute decision last night to head up to Creswick for the CITO and Event meant a couple of quick messages to AusFox; and Neville_devil and I soon had a couple of copilots for the journey. We left early enough (But still a civilized time) to grab some caches on the way.
With time on our side AusFox; navigated our way in the direction of Dean. We hunted for a while when Neville eventually made the find.
Thank you jiwilly for the hide

Heading to Creswick to attend a CITO and Event and grab a few caches on route with Simsfamily and Neville Devil.
as we pulled up near GZ we were asked if we were part of an Abandoned structure as they were meeting near by, we replied we were part of a group but not that one.
We wandered back and forth looking for the hide until Neville Devil called out "found it".
Log signed and replaced as found.

A cool little hide! Memories here too from a long time ago. I remember school trips to the old school located behind the hall. TFTC
Got a son-in-law called Dean so I wanted to see this village? Great hall, thought it must be an old school by virtue of the buildings, then spotted the magic words Mechanics Institute, so many of these noble buildings about. Great town sign, great rock walls and an excellent container. Good fun all round. Thanks.
Came out for routine maintenance as there was a DNF and it appears after extensive searching, that the cache appears to have been muggled. Replacement cache again made and replaced at updated co-ordinates from last update.
This is not getting a happy face today...
Coordinates bounced around.. and too many people hear to see us!

Original cache was damaged and required to be replaced. New cache was not suitable for placement where original cache was, so co-ords have been updated to reflect new, more appropriate placement of cache.
Dean's place looked like a good spot to start a new caching day
So off I strolled to find me this one.
Soooo .....
... 10 minutes later and I was none the wiser
Back to the firing line
So which rock ??
Let me see ...
... there's about 10,000 of them at least
I ignored the GPS' insistence that the cache was near the sign,
and widened me search.
Voila !!
That looks suspicious
It sure was

Heading from Ballarat to Wangaratta and collecting a few caches along the way. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining the caches.
Today was a day of missions to fill a few spots left in my calendars.
I drove just on 367km from the western suburbs, up to Castlemaine, down thru Daylesford, across to Creswick and then back to Melbourne.
Not so much big numbers but have now completed my Finds by placed date calendar. I picked up a few older caches to knock some dates of my Jasmer challenge, picked up a few more numbers in the Vic Sudoku mystery and a long-buried Premier for another mystery.
I looked and looked around here for too long.
If only I widened my search sooner.
Then I managed to have the aha moment.
Singed the log and was on my way.

Second search, nice hide KOOL, found with Conehead3 approx 15mts from GZ. Tanks FTC
Quick stop on our way from Daylesford to Sovereign Hill today. GZ was about 10 metres from where we found it, so don't know whether it has been moved. Probably would not have found it if we hadn't previously found 2 similar to this ingenious cache in the past, so knew what to look for by the tip. Thank you.
I'm calling cache creep. We dismantled the wall and put it back together. We even had spare rock caches to compare what we were looking for. We're moving on before the cops turn up for excessively suspicious activity.
We found it upside down in the open being very obvious! Have now replaced it to where it belongs.
drive on the way to maryborough to pick up my husband and thank you for show me old church

A Friday of fun, out and about around Creswick, in an effort to replace the green boxes on our geo-map with smiley tokens. The four letters rock in a cache name always make us anxious! Today we had this clever little hide in hand very quickly, happy to leave our name and a favourite point.
Our thanks to jiwilly for placing this cache.

Moneydork and Mrs Moneydork had very kindly invited me, last November, for a caching trip to Victoria over the Australia Day weekend [:X]
A massive trip with 13 DNFS and 318 finds over 7 days and many kilometers of travel
My knees don't want to bend anymore after a massive ride on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail and then about 145 finds the next day while finishing the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series [xx(] Seems my driving lesson was about me keeping both feet on the ground as I broke my own record by doing the autumn leaf thing 4 times in one day [xx(]
Still a fantastic trip with great sights and lots of cache finds [^]
A travel day today as we head from Ballarat to Seymour.
We picked up this cache on our way out there
This cache has us looking everywhere initially bar where we finally found it!
Still we rocked Dean in the end [^]

After visiting the new Maze House, we (neisha07, chan02, boo09 & Muggle Dad) thought we would nab a few of the nearby caches as we would not generally travel this road.
I had a bit of cache blindness here and was looking in the wrong spot (great co-ords, just silly me), it was Muggle husband that ended up making the find which he was quite smug about.
The log book was a ball of wet paper (see pic attached) however I had a spare log in the car so it is all fresh now.

We had traveled to Maryborough yesterday afternoon to attend three of the four Geelong Xmas events to help celebrate my nieces engagement and had stayed the night in town and were looking for a few caches on the way home.
We made this one harder than it should have been and spent awhile looking in all the wrong places and then the cache was finally spotted and our name was added to the log.
Didn't see any spuds today but in a previous life Mr Crackers has picked them up from here.
Thanks for the cache.

Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.

Find #1049 for me. I'd passed this one several times before on my way to Ballarat from Bendigo. This time I actually had time to stop, leaving the kids in the car since it was so cold. My GPS liked your coordinates today jiwilly so it didn't take too long to spot. Thanks for the cache!
