This Doughboy is located outside Pettis County Courthouse in Sedalia, MO.
Found this Doughboy in Belmar, NJ. Interesting statue .. had never heard of them before doing this locationless. Thanks!
We looked up Doughboys on the internet and found 2 in the town we were going to. They gave the address to them and everything!!! What an easy find! This one is located in front of Stevens Mortuary on 8th Avenue in Altoona, PA.
Found this Doughboy in front of Juniata Elementary School. Looked up the information on the internet and it said a Doughboy was in front of this school. Sure enough, it was there in the city I was planning on going to, Altoona, PA! I never knew before I did this cache that there was any other doughboy besides the Pillsbury one!!! Thanks for the education!
Roselle Park, New Jersey
Found the Doughboy, and took pictures. Identical to the one in Perth Amboy

Roselle Park, NJ
Here's the web page I found it on, and some local information....http://members.tripod.com/doughboy_lamp/earlspages/id144.html
From the website:
The Doughboy, which is sometimes affectionately referred to in Roselle Park as “Iron Mike,†has suffered vandalism through the years, as have nearly all Doughboys. The bayonet was taken in one incident and the left hand and rifle were removed in another. Repairs were made, but the 75 years of exposure to the elements caused other deterioration and discoloring.
A major restoration project in 1999 involved the borough officials, schools, historical society, a landscaper, Easton Memorial Company from Pennsylvania, and three local veteran organizations. A bayonet was added to replace a temporary bayonet that had been used in an earlier repair, and the Doughboy and plaques were cleaned, polished and repaired where possible. The rededication ceremony was held May 31, 1999, and while the rifle sling is still missing, “Iron Mike†is now in outstanding condition.

Wow! I was stunned to find out there is a locationless reverse cache based on Viquesne's Doughboy Sculpture. We placed a micro cache at the one in our picture on Veteran's day of this year. We also placed two others near by. "Name that shelter" and "Veteran's Day Cache" We named the cache we placed here at this sculpture,.. "Pillsbury"
I guess Viquesney was very busy making these.... I wonder if he did any other interesting ones?
TFTC!

Thanks to monitorlizard's help along with a 4 hour round-trip, found this Doughboy in Harlan, KY.

This statue is located in downtown New Braunfels, Texas on what was supposed to be the courthouse square. The statue was donated by Mr. & Mrs. E. A. Clousnitzer and dedicated on Veteran's Day, November 11, 1937. I kept waiting for the American flag to unfurl when I took this picture but it was caught on the rope so the main picture didn't come out as well as I had hoped. There is also a nearby statue commemorating soldiers of the Civil War.
(Thanks to monitorlizard, I was able to quickly identify, locate and log this locationless cache. Guess I was just in the right place at the right time!)

Unfortunately the December 10, 2005 log for Highlands, NJ, shows a picture of the base of the already logged Matawan, NJ Doughboy (enlarge the picture of the GPS screen and you can read the map). The doughboy that actually stands at Highlands, NJ is not by Viquesney.
Found this Doughboy statue near the end of New Jersey, in Highlands, NJ near Sandy Hook National Shore.
This is on the main road in Herrin Il. Once I read about this, I noticed the barbed wire and logs present. Thanks.
I can't believe no one logged this one yet! This Doughboy is located nar the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Moosic Street in Scranton, Pennsylvania. We must have passed it five times before it clicked that this was "the" Doughboy. I almost expected it to be a copy, until I saw the inscription on the back. Although all that is here on this narrow, unlandscaped scrap of ground is this statue, the plaque on the front identifies it as the Colonel Frank J. Duffy Memorial Park, and states that it was dedicated on Memorial Day (May 30th), 1940. It was erected by the local VFW post "as a memorial to those who have entered into a more beautiful life" (inscription on lower plaque).
I was getting two caches in this cemetery (Elm Ridge Cemetery, I think) in Muncie, Indiana this morning and found this nice doughboy at the main building by the entrance. Thanks to 2Jo's for the opportunity to log this one.
This World War I doughboy statue is located on the west side of Liberty Square in Liberty, Mo. A local Clay County Judge recently discovered a photograph of his paternal grandparents taken with the statue in 1920. How appropriate that I log this locationless cache as we celebrate Veterans Day today.
Thanks,
Carlin

I have been meaning to log this since last spring, but alas I just took the pictures off the DC and now here it is. This Doighboy is located in Missoula, Montana. in front of the court house.

Since I will not be getting to Kingman Arizona any time soon, I thought I would let you all know where there is one of these statues in Arizona.

KINGMAN, ARIZONA
(With E. M. Viquesney’s "Spirit of the American Navy" sculpture that accompanies Doughboys in seven locations.)
In front of Mohave County Courthouse, 401 E. Spring Street
The inscription on the plaque (below the eagle relief) reads:
IN MEMORY OF
THE MEN AND WOMEN
OF MOHAVE COUNTY
WHO SERVED IN THE
WORLD WAR
1917 – 1918
Dedicated May 30, 1928
A plaque dedicated November 11, 1997 at the foot of the base honors Korean era Veterans.
A goldfish pond that was once at the base is no longer there. A machine gun was originally mounted on the raised part of the base between the two figures. Its disappearance has been the subject of news articles containing speculations about when it disappeared. Local estimates, including those of the law enforcement officials, were that it disappeared before 1980, but it was still there when a national survey of outdoor sculptures was conducted in 1993.

Lexington, Missouri
This E. M. Viquesney Doughboy sculpture is located at the Wentworth Military Academy. The plaque on the back says that it is number #13 of 139 that was fabricated. It was originally dedicated on June 10, 1923.
An interesting note about this particular sculpture is that in 2003 it was in need of repair so it was removed from it's pedestal and placed in the Kansas City Liberty Memorial Museum where multiple fundraisers, raising $11,500, were held to restore it. Here is a link that describes this in more detail:
http://www.savethedoughboy.org/
Cadets at Wentworth raised money by asking for a pledge for each of the 40 miles walked from Lexington to Kansas City.
The Doughboy was restored and moved back to Lexington in 2004.

[Well, I guess this is sort of a find for this cache; it's a real Spirit of the American Doughboy sculpture by Viquesney, except that it's a miniature version of the famous statue. This version is a table lamp, a rarer item than Viquesney's popular 12" desktop statuette. Both were produced throughout the 1920s and 1930s. Judging by the eBay statistics I've been keeping, there are maybe a couple hundred of the statuette version still around, out of over 25,000 originally sold. I found this doughboy on SR 3 on the north side of New Castle, Indiana. It is sitting up on a hill about 50' from the west edge of the road. Because it is up high and cars are going 60mph down SR 3, nobody probably notices it. I think it's probably technically on the property of Memorial Park, but it's far away from any road or access point in there as far as I can tell. I had to pull onto the shoulder of SR 3 and scamper up the hill to get my photo's. Of course when I came back, there was a Henry County officer pulling up behind me. He just asked if I was OK and needed help. No thanks officer!!
I am listing this as a note and not a find, because it is not exactly what you requested. It is a doughboy grave marker that I thought was interesting enough to post here in hopes that you would let me count it as a find. I found it while caching in southern WV, just outside Lewisburg. Evidently Guy Eugene Gardner died in Washington state in 1918, so my guess is influenza epidemic and not battle wounds. Thanks for making me look.

This is the Doughboy in Crooksville, Ohio. It is in front of the Muncipality Building on China Street. This is the third Doughboy we saw today, but the first 2 were already claimed. I wish we had gotten to this one in daylight, and we apologize for the poor quality of the photos. the statue is in good condition. Earl Goldsmith's Web site says this statue is believed to have been dedicated on November 11, 1922. It honors veterans of not just the First World War, but also the Civil War and the Spanish-American War.
Appleton, WI Doughboy.
As was noted in the 2004 find of the Appleton Viquesney Doughboy, it is in need of repair. The Appleton Post-Crescent has started a fund raising drive to generate the estimated $30,000-40,000 that will be required to fix the statue.
To quote the Post-Crescent:
"If you’d like to contribute, you can send a check to: Save the Doughboy, Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, P.O. Box 563, Appleton, WI 54912. Make the check payable to “Post-Crescent Community Fund.†Or you can donate online by going to www. cffoxvalley.org. We’ll recognize everybody who contributes in the pages of The Post-Crescent."
