Freezing cold 0c day. Lucky was trying not to be blown away to find this one super quickly
A final day in and around the Bathurst area. We have had lots of fun exploring and caching with CBI24. After breakfast on our last day, we came to the Oval to visit and made a quick find here. A lovely foot bridge indeed! Thanks Joshwa27Domsky
Chooo ooo [Found] on a caching invasion of Bathurst! Log signed CBI24! Nice quick find here. Thanks Joshwa27!
Tankengine, Youban and I left Canberra just after lunchtime on Friday and drove straight to Bathurst. We had solved many of the puzzles or at least started the solves before coming. We were looking forward to finding many smilies this weekend and hanging out with our friends. We met up with our friends and signed caches as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024). The group included Fitzy_1965, Minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, GLISS!, Tankengine, Youban, Contesta, Domsky, TikvaNZ, Isopeada, Barb2e, and SmittenGranny. We had an awesome dinner at the Kelso Hotel Bistro Friday night. And attended the ever changing event on Saturday night at The Reckless Brewery Co. Breakfast was at a couple of cafes that were all good and lunches wherever we could find it. Our little cabin at the NRMA Paramount caravan park, where there was just enough space for all three of us (just). We slept ok, but the leaky taps needed attention. We had an awesome time and would love another chance to visit Bathurst again another day. This cache: Well thats a pretty good find. Tankengine went straight to it! Tftc!!!
Find # 124326/7/2024 21:00Caching adventures continue, plans were hatched, word got around, and with some trustee like-minded souls we assembled at the cemetery start line - KittyKatch, Joolay, fitzy_65, mimmiek, TikvaNZ, isopeda, dty73, FurfacesLL, domsky, Youvan, Barb2e, Tankengine. Signing CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun!All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Joshwa27 for Soccer Bridge
Bathurst TripFound with Joolay, FurfacesLL, Gliss, contesta and the gang on a drive to Bathurst for a weekend of caching. Caches signed as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 24). TE made the find here. Thanks for the hide Joshwa27
Tankengine the terrible found this one before the group got across the oval signed as CBI24. There are around fourteen of us. Ku
Found with a group from Canberra and Goulburn on a geocaching "Invasion" of Bathurst. Caches found while I was part of the group were signed as CBI24 - Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024. The cachers in the group were - Joolay, Kittykatch, Contesta, Isopeda, Barb2E, TikvaNZ, Youban, Tankengine, DTY73, Fitzy_1965, Minniek, FurfacesLL, SmittenGranny, Domskys and me (GLISS!). Thanks to all the hiders who added to our fun.
The quick walker in our group had the cih before the rest of us had even arrived. But then Tankengine is known for Bridge hides. Today, a group from Canberra (and some from surrounding areas) are in Bathurst for the next in our Invasion series. We were last here 4 years ago, but there are plenty more caches these days. This years group includes barb2e, Isopeda, Youban, DTY, Tankengine, Kittykatch, Joolay, GLISS!, domskys, FurfacesLL, TikvaNZ, minniek, fitzy_1965, Contesta and myself. All caches found were signed as CBI24 standing for Canberra Invasion of Bathurst in 2024. We had quite a long list of caches that we hoped to find over the weekend, and it is pleasing to note that most of us found all on our own list for today except one that looks as if it has fallen victim to The Winter Festival. After collecting a few in town, the main group concentrated on Peel Reserve in the morning, while others, including me, Youban, and barb2e, followed our own agendas. Huge thanks to all cache owners for the great hides and puzzles that I encountered today. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day, which has left me somewhat weary, so please excuse the generic logs. This was one of the caches that we found and signed.
#6007Out on a fabulous ANZAC weekend caching adventure with Ash_Kate and Rama497. Our base for the weekend was Bathurst where we hoped we could find lots of fun caches in and around and enjoy some relaxing time away from Sydney.Walked up to the bridge and found within seconds by Ash_Kate.
#2,153Out this weekend with Calypso62 and Ash_Kate for some adventures.This was a quick fine.TFTC.
Walked straight to this one. Thought it may have taken longer but very quick for us today. Tftc.
Didnt bring a pen but found this one! Wasnt in a spot that we thought it would be
Finally found it, after 2 hours of searching, once we saw it, was an easy find cool spot
There are a few bridge caches in the ACT (by tankengine) which have aged me many years during my searches for them. I was thinking this bridge cache would be Similar so I ducked away from the very busy soccer fields to attack this cache, even with thongs. At GZ searched high and low, until I spotted the telltale sign of a common cache container. Tftc
Finally found it!! Brought the dog here for a change of scenery and to our surprise even though we werent necessarily looking, it was right in front of our eyes. Didnt have a pen between us but we were excited to log it on here. Good spot!!
wow whato say here. like a needle in a haystack. it took a while, had to check everywhere else first, right? wasn't what i was expecting at all.i was focused on the macro. thanks joshwa27 for hiding a needle in a haystack on a bridge for fields.this is also the tenth time i've ever come across this combination, so now it'll change to a darker shade of green.
I thought that this cache would take me ages to locate, but I got lucky and spotted it hiding away quite quickly. This is an excellent hide that could have taken ages to find. So many options here.
Found it finally! Took a while had to search through the comments for some help, realised we were looking to high. Didn’t expect what we found.
Wow was not where I was expecting, but glad to make the find right in front of my eyes. TFTC
A nice stroll for AceAl and teamuss straight to this one. Nice breeze today and no muggles in sight.
My second attempt at this cache. Found when I looked in the non obvious spot. Coords pretty much spot on. TFTC SL
We made surprisingly short work of this, not where we were expecting but pretty obvious once we saw it TFTC
Out caching foday with jennyfromthefarm to celebrate the opening of regional travel. Picked this one up after a maccas brekkie TFTC
Rats not tonight despite the long hunt. Will have to try again another time.
Over in Bathurst region trying to pick up 25 unique cache D/T ratings in a day. It has been such an epic adventure trying to secure them all - we have certainly travelled far and wide!! Glad for all the prep and planning before hand and the few back up caches we included in the list, or we never would have made it.

Searched high and low with Nibletricecakes. We also also PAF for a hint. I'm not sure this one is still here.
Cheeky quick grab whilst driving past. Couldn't stop thinking of the red hot chilli peppers song! TFTC
Found in the company of Key_Tat and Viper_101… Visiting the inlaws in Bathurst, thought we might grab some caches while in the area, thanks for placing. Im not sure this is where it is supposed to be, may need a quick check from the CO. TFTC

Took a bit to come up with this hide; there were some distractions I had to check first. Came away with a few scratches, but that's worth it for a difficulty of 4.5! Thanks for bringing me here; the local Catholic school was having a sports day so parking was at a premium.
We're camping at some quiet locations and great little towns that should lead us to the Mega at Queanbeyan.
Found the new sheet with one signature.
Thanks for placing this cache Joshwa27

It's nice to be the first to sign a new log sheet! Took a few minutes, but after checking some previous logs I refined the search area and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
I believe I found the remnants of this one. I had a previous finder come down and check too.
Will delete this if the owner responds to my PM with bad news that it’s still in place.

Headed away for the weekend with fitzy_1965. Made our way through Cowra and Bathurst trying to pick up some out of the way caches and some previous DNFs. I ended up with 48 finds but unfortunately we had around 17 more DNFs.
This was one we had missed last time we were here. Determined to find it, we made a systematic search and fitzy ended up making the satisfying find.

15,409. Found during a Cowra/Bathurst region run this weekend with minniek.
Day 2 dawned and we headed out towards Bathurst after grabbing a few caches in Cowra. This one we had dnf'd last trip, so this time we were determined to find it - and we did ! Took a good 20 minutes of thorough searching and then it was right in front of my face ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Joshwa27 !! Phew glad that ones out of the way.

Looked for this little bugger but couldn't find it. Thanks anyway . We will return
I suggest to fitzy_1965 that we should go caching for his birthday. He chose the Bathurst area. So with a list compiled, my only request was to grab some unloved caches so I could finally complete a challenge cache. We managed to fill in a lot of gaps and some previous DNF's.....although I think we ended up with more DNF's for the day
No luck here today.
No luck here today.
On a tour around town with Code 1, we walked over and back before finding a gap in the foot traffic. With games on the far side, it seems to avoid the main car park they on this far side and walk across the bridge.
JABs.

Four years on and I still couldn't find it, even with some special local intel', maybe its too overgrown to see anymore?
Winter weekend in Bathurst and Surrounds with Sol de Lune. We had a quick look before the kids playing in the creek came up to play under the bridge.
Thanks.

Another perfect Autumn day for caching around Bathurst with Mr Router.
Not many muggles around and mostly quick finds.
Another equally evil hide, but like others have said, it might not last long.
Thanks for the cache Joshwa27,

What a lot of strange clues there are in the previous logs... But as per usual, they all make sense after the find! After 'a few' minutes of searching, I was starting to think I shouldn't have let the grass grow so long before looking for this one... And then I 'stumbled' across it, more by accident than skill... Phew!
I'd follow Code1's advice, if I were you!
Thanks joshwa!

[Luck there had been some rain as it made this one easy to locate this time round.
Not what I was looking for or where the hint indicated it was.]
Sticklers for the guidelines might complain about this one though.

Found it! OMG, how hard was that! After 4 attempts of about half an hour each, I finally found it. Thanks to teragraml for the hint, thanks mate. Spoiler alert [the hint is no use, forget it]. That was hard but worth it in the end. Good job on the cammo. SL TFTC

After apsley168 and kellickguider had found this cache i thought about what their comments meant and suddenly it clicked ! Ofcourse, i needed help for apsley's cache and this must be along the lines of how that particular cache was hidden and yep, CIH in seconds. Thanks for an interesting and differant hide joshwa27 !!! Gotta fav this one.
Well, do we feel smug!!! With all the DNF's we were thinking we would have to spend a long time here, but, lo and behold, we had it in our hands in no time at all !!! Our quickest find so far today!
TFTC Joshwa27

We expected this to take a while but Apsley168 had the cache in hand before we even started to demolish the bridge I had just commented that with all the new hides in town noone had used this type - a lucky premonition? TFTC
Saw 4 and a half difficulty see if I can find it but no luck I swear I looked everywhere must be a good hide!
