On a very rare and special occasion, I was out and about with my lovely on a mid-week escape. The weather was lovely, chilly air, fairly clear skies and warm in the car. We left home at a respectable hour, wandered through the hills at our leisure stopping for a morning cuppa while taking in views of the southern coast. Great conversation and experiences at a variety of caches. We stopped for lunch in Strathalbyn and had a stroll in the shops and park after. I had not been caching in this area before so there were many to choose from, including a couple armchair solves waiting patiently.

After walking back and forth for the sequenced AL in the park in Strathalbyn, I reverted to normal caching until it was home time. We managed many different cache types and picked up a golden oldie to fill a hole in my Jasmer grid. All up a wonderful day with over 30 remote hills finds added to my tally.

Thanks for the cache Brisal5. This was the second one of the day, a nice sized container here, in good condition. Find #8455 at 10.01am

I’m wandering around the Wistow area taking some photos for a friend in Brisbane who is not sure when he’ll ever be able to get back this way.

No horses in this paddock today, but some very easy jumps set up.

In high school, I had a typing teacher who looked just like Tweety’s owner. She taught me how to touch-type, possibly the most useful thing I learned at Modbury High.

An easy find and everything in good condition.

Thanks Brisal5.

What an awesome day! The weather was fabulous, we ventured around areas we normally fly pass on the highway.
We came across some beautiful scenic views, travelled roads not travelled before, searching cemeteries/graveyards for long lost relatives and even having lunch outside an old church.
Geocaching along the way, we had 3 DNF's, picked up 3 TB's and had an absolute ball/

Today I needed a puzzle and a multi so set myself a short 10 cache run that would incorporate both in the short time I had available for caching.
Both missions were accomplished and home in time to chat to my Mum in the UK on time.
Last one before heading home. Nice TFTC Brisal

Today, my plan was to hang around Mount Barker and explore the town and its surrounds. A Breakfast Club event kick started my day, and from there, I joined a small group to Mount Barker Summit to find a few of those geocaches. I then headed solo around the area to find a few more traditionals, and later ran into Wal & Ol who had also stuck around visiting a few multi-cache waypoints. I continued to check out the town's surrounds, and called it a day when it got dark.

I didn't see too many horses around in the paddock today, for which this geocache appears to be named from, but I did find the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@brisal5](http://coord.info/PR65M51) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Goodbye Breakfast #2!

22-May-19
The usual Wednesday wanderings for the troupe of Puzzled Puzzlers animals was planned for Murray Bridge however at the last minute the KORF (Sushilord) sent a message telling us that he was not feeling up to the day's outing, the plans were changed to target Mount Barker, the home town of the Starfish who had already cleared out all the hides which left only the Adder and the Rat to seek out the hides.

There were no foals at GZ and our initial thought were that there may have been a few porkies nearby, who can resist Bacon for brekky?

The container and contents are fine. Signed and replaced. TFTC Sir Starfish.

late log. Found by phone and missed logging it. found a couple of months ago in the truck. Head office got me on the radio and told me the client wanted a delay of 30 minutes before truck arrived. The intersection was the first place i could pull over. Checked map, a cache just down the road. Slow walk since in no rush, signed log and then drive up the road to work the multi out and have lunch while killing time. No horses that day.

Out for an afternoon drive with the family, stopping for the odd cache amidst the busy Saturday afternoon traffic.

Quickly located a good sized cache in one of the many possible natural hiding spots. Observed the horses from afar. The first of several we were to see this afternoon.
