Well that was worth the stop for the cache and bus stop. Fav. Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the fun and the adventure.
Great pit stop! We bought a couple of drinks from across the road, then had a good gander at this unusual shelter. Not a bad place to wait for public transport. Thanks BettyBoo3747.
On a flying visit to the area today by train my most gracious host stopped for a few caches along the journey. The cache was found quickly and my host is looking at joining the GC brigade.my thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache, a favourite from me Regards Mr Coffee and the "all it needs is a coffee machine" Coffee's
Day 12 of my interstate trip. Today I left Everton and continued on my way to Sydney making it as far as Burrumbuttock where I spent the night at a free camp site. I managed to find 17 caches today and only 1 DNF.First find of the day. It sure is one of the most decorated bus shelter I have ever seen.TFTC BettyBoo3747
I just had to stop for such a heavily favoured cache, it's a lovely comfortable bus stop.
Today my wife and I were making a day trip to Beechworth to spend some tourist dollars. We didnt know what to expect or what critters we would meet. Of course we took the opportunity to go out of the way to visit the bus stop. Theres no refund on the rental car if we dont use it.Its pretty amazing that someone hasnt been a bit too touchy feely and are a mess. His bus stop is cleaner than our kids bedrooms. tftc
This has to be the best bus stop Ive ever seen, what a novel idea.Had the cache in hand quickly, signed the log and off we go back towards Melbourne.TFTC.
Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, Mntti1 and I began our travels few months ago. After visiting Melbourne and Great Ocean road we started slowly making our way towards Myrtleford and hop harvest season. On our way we stopped here also. Thanks for the cache!
To my surprise the cache has gone missing. New container and log sheet now in place.
Searches and searches today and could not find sadly. Cute spot though. Now back to camp to bring in the new year - goodbye 2023
Stopped for a bite to eat and decided to grab this one while in the vicinity, thanks
In laws live across the road and I've been dying to get this one! Not too hard - kids ate icy poles whilst I hunted. We are heading up to NSW so I'm keen to find some more! TFTC ️
Heading homewards after a family holiday at Beechworth, we managed to find many caches.
What a hoot Called waiting in style. Quick find, thanks BettyBoo.
What a hoot Called waiting in style. Quick find, thanks BettyBoo.
Is this creation borne out of boredom while waiting for the bus? It's like a home away from home! At least you can wait in style and comfort! Thanks for sharing this with us.
This is my first trip outside of New Zealand caching I am enjoying getting this awesome cache it deserves a favorite with Team SPINZ tftc
I had this cache on our trip list as it fitted criteria for a challenge that Isis58 and I are working on, however as we came around the corner the first thing I noticed was someone on the roof with a giant rabbit so we kept driving. We ended coming back this way after taking a wrong turn to another cache and by then they were gone so we could make the find in peace. Thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747

We were here earlier but someone was on top of the roof setting up the Easter Bunny on the bike and someone else was doing similar things inside so we just carried on. Turns out we are passing here again and they have gone leaving the shelter all dressed up for Easter. Its magnificent - must be fun for those caretakers that keep it in theme. We loved seeing all the different elements that make this a very special place for everyone. Worth a favourite. TFTC # 19,038
Well it’s Victorian Mega time again and I thought that I would get a few Randolph the Rats caches in early before the long weekend.
I have had those solved for a long time and just have never had the time to look for them until now.
So after a nice ice cream in Bright I headed back this way to look for these ones.
After finishing of Randolph ones it was time to back but as they say there is always time for one more cache.
I have driven past this shelter many times on my way to Mt Beauty and I always thought how great it was that it was never trashed.
Parked right near it and soon added my name to the log.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 TFTC.

Loved this one! Pass this bus stop all the time on the way to wangaratta and Myrtleford, also love the collaboration with harrowang on this one!
Spending a week in Bright exploring the surrounding area. Quick find with Bogonghazy. Thanks for bringing us here
There is a shop across the road claiming to have the best milkshake! Well, it will have to wait. Damn!
Well, this was a real treat to be brought to. Had to wait for a couple of truck drivers to finish the catch up and once the coast was clear and methodical search quickly found the cache. Now back to the aircon! TFTC.
Myself and another person are actually responsible for decorating this bus shelter and I just got involved in geocaching. Great surprise to find this here!
Driving past so stopped to check this one. Plenty of room on the log sheet and all good with the cache.
Moved here a couple of weeks ago. Have noticed the bus stop many of times. Finally stopped to grab the cache. TFTC
This bus shelter truly is ideal! At the end of Day 1 on the M2MRT and couldn't resist. A quick hunt with Stuart soon turned up the cache, even though the GPS was a little off. TFTC
Family day out. Checked out the pub, lovely pub with charm.
Have driven past so often and watch the bus stop and it's changes but never stopped. TFTC

On our way to Bright for the weekend, via Wang (not our usual route) picking up a very caches along the way.
What a very interesting bus stop!
Had a quick look around then used some common sense and sure enough cache was found.
Adding a FP to the collection.

In the Wangaratta area for a few days caching with my very good caching mate from Bacchus Marsh 6Hinemoa2 and great caching friend from Adelaide and his mate the Blackadders.
Due to COVID lockdowns and other problems this trip has been postponed a number of times but we are finally going. Once in the area we put 3B6 or Bushfire in our logs to save space.
I am running late with my logs after finding so many in five full on caching days.
With so many caches found I have to use the cut and paste method as we found so many great caches from so many different cachers, so a big thank you to all those folk.
t took a while to locate but finally. Another F.P.

THE LATE TO THE WANGARATTA MEGA TOUR. [:o)]
We were booked for November 21. [^] Didn't Happen.
Booking transferred to February 22. covid
Booking transferred to May 2022. Yah - made it albeit a tad late.
DAY 4: Off to do the Ned Kelly Helmet series. and anything else we may be passing
The Fab Four of Bushfire, Blackadders, brisal5 and 6himemoa2 set off for a days of Geocaching adventures. Plan A was to do NKH and then off towards Everton and Beechworth for some Randolph the Rats caches [^] So to save space in logs we signed BBB6 or 3B6 with a team stamp for the date or similar and unless there was something different or exciting happening these logs are all generic.
That is one special bus stop. Took a little while to find the cache but we found it eventually.
***Thanks BettyBoo3747 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Day 4of a trip to Victoria targeting around the Benalla area with Brisal5, Bushfire and 6hinemoa2. The forecast for the day was for showers however it ended up as a perfect day for caching.
A fun adventurous day including getting bogged on a back track that has been notorious for catching other cachers and the need to contact a nearby farmer who one again kindly towed us out of our predicament, something that he had done for many others in the past.
Our targets were many including some of the Randolph the Rat series and a few others nearby. It also included a high terrain tree climb that needed the Adder and the Starfish to engineer a longer TOTT to scale a tree while Bushfire and 6hinemoa2 watched on in awe.hoping that the extended legs would not collapse or slip.
Another target was the Ned kelly Helmet series which was completed.
All caches were visited handled and signed by the individual members of the group, as always there was no car hopping. This is how we play.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
An ornate location that would sadly not last around where the Adders hail. Great to see that locals respect the effort that has been put into the public structure.
Thank you for the cache BettyBoo3747, found 6/05/2022, 4:56:57 PM

This was a super cool spot for a cache. The stop is fully decked out for Easter. It's very fun. Found the cache after pausing on the other side to admire this art. Cache was in a good location to avoid looking like we were loitering or searching. Tftc.
Staying at the caravan park tonight. Great deal for campers with tents. Dinner at the pub and a quick cache find.
Came along here with goingplaces2 and signed the log. All was then replaced as found. TFTC.
Came along for a caching run with ilook4geo on a hot day and had to stop and have a look at the ideal bus stop. The decore had changed a bit but it still looks very comfortable. Thanks for showing us this unique feature go to BettyBoo3747.
Today we found The Ideal Bus Stop on our travels. We are done and dusted with the Mega and maze and off on a caching day. Stopped here to use to spotlessly clean amenities across the way and we were so close we decided we had to have a look. A strong feeling of déjà vu but we haven’t found this one. The Chief had it in his hands very quickly. The poor lady lying on the roof must have been hot yesterday!
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for being part of our geocaching fun.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for being part of our geocaching fun.
The best bus stop we have seen, well apart from the air-conditioned ones in Dubai. We were grateful for the hint otherwise we could have been there for a long time!
With the Mega festivities over it was time to head out of Wangaratta for a second day and hit the trails. With no others about we were on our own today although we did bump into others on our travels.
It was not so hot today and quite overcast. Ideal for caching. We drove to many, but also walked sections of the trails. We will return and ride much more when the weather is cooler.
By far the majority of caches were in good condition with most coordinates good although a few had us searching widely. We think some of our coords on caches without checkers however are incorrect. Back to the drawing board with those!
Our sincere thanks to the local cachers who have put in mammoth efforts in developing the copious number of caches in the area and maintaining them so effectively. Your efforts are appreciated.

Found on a day trip with dear friends suss vulture to the Basketball geo-art. Suss vulture really wanted to show me this bus stop on the way and I certainly wasn't disappointed. What an amazing location, so much community spirit and some funny white elephants around the place! Quick find at GZ. Had lunch across the road later in the day too, which was some yummy grub! TFTC BettyBoo3747!
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz and Bruce. Another great day for caching. TFTC BettyBoo3747

Found out caching with Wollaston, Liz&Bruce following a great MEGA event at Wangaratta Mega. This would have to be the most comfortable bus stop! Grabbed some lunch across the road from the funny sassy owner of the general store, fantastic milkshakes and made to order snitzel burgers.

Most caches were found in great condition and were easily enough to spot, we also appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into placing and maintaining these caches for our benefit, thank you to all the CO's.
A favourite point for this one, unusual to see this along the beautiful countryside!

After travelling down from Canberra, FurfacesLL ladies and myself did our check in duties and then decided to head down to this smallish rail trail with the bikes to try get some finds up our sleeves. Grabbed a couple roadside ones along the way and then made our way to the most furtherest one to begin the ride. Was an enjoyable ride with some lovely scenic views along the way.
Last cache for the evening before making it back towards our accommodation to rest for a big ride day tomorrow in the heat. What a cool bus stop! love what they have done here.
Thanks for placing and mainaining this cache for us all to enjoy BettyBoo3747

Intrigued by the description, we were going to check rhis one out on our way to Bright this morning. A truck was parked nearby so we decided to leave it for the way back. Lo and behold, another truck was right there, but the driver must have been having a nap.
We admired the homely scene in the shelter, then went to find the cache and sign the log. Our final happy caching face for a lovely day. Thank you!

Oh how I loved to reach this cache. It is the end of a long hectic day for us both. Thanks again Pa.
It is ages since Pa and I had a serious day's caching and it was great. Although more a muggle than a cacher Pa soon settled into his role as chauffeur, tree climber and successful finder when I couldn't. Thanks Pa.
I had mapped out a route that mainly involved HSS but knowing that I couldn't possibly get them all I cherry picked the ones I wanted. I included some others too but had a DNF on one of them.
After about 35 finds we relaxed a bit and enjoyed stops for morning tea and lunch which was fabulous overlooking Bates Dam after completing Once I was a Pub. By this time I was already wishing that I was at one.
The day continued around the loop until we were back in Everton where we rewarded ourselves with icecreams.
Thanks to all the COs for contributing to our wonderful day. All logs were signed SG or maybe my full name occasionally.

SciFiRulz had told us about the Bus Stop so we put it on the todo list. Very arty and now I know where to go when the shops run out of toilet paper again. TFTC
Amazing bus stop, certainly would make waiting for a bus much more interesting. Fpt TFTC
We were a little astonished to see this ideal bus stop. I assume this has been added to over the years and there were some nice details. After admiring the interior we mad a quick find and were soon on our way. Thanks to BettyBoos3747 for bringing us here and for the cache.
I don’t know how many times I’ve driven past here and not stopped to look for the cache. Today is the day!!!! SL TFTC
As 2 newbies together told me this isn't here, I called past to check. The container is exactly where it is supposed to be. However, the log sheet was almost full after 3 years so I have left a new log sheet to keep things going through the pre-Mega and Mega rush.
