I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi Big smoke
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

Had a look for this during mid evening so it was all quiet at GZ. No sign of the cache.
Had a decent look, but no joy for us either. At the location our GPSr's took us to had little material to cover a cache.
Visited here earlier but muggles in place so revisited later with no muggles about. Searched all around and finally snagged this one. Unbelievable this one still exists. Container a bit worse for wear but had no replacements that would suit. Now tagged. Cheers
Its Anzac Day 25 April and we have an event at Palmerston. So its a day in Palmerston today with a walk up Puketau in the mix.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

Took us two attempts at this one. There was a mum and daughter playing, so we did not want to compromise the cache. I am surprised it is still here. Wow, this is one seriously brazen hide. The container is also quite damaged, which is not surprising, given the hide. We would have replaced it, except that i am not confident any new container would fare much better. Frankly, I am amazed this cache lasted this long!
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Had a quick look while the others filled up with petrol. Couldn't find it so carried on.
This is day four of a ten day trip down to Dunedin and back to move my daughter to Dunedin so she can get her master’s degree at Otago University.
I am now on the road heading north. I don’t need to make too many miles, so I can concentrate on a few caches.
There was no one around, so I was able to walk right up to it. TFTC.

Headed to Naseby for a weekend of caching. Awesome weekend for this!! TFTC

The cache has had a bit of a soaking and is wet through. We managed to drain the water but were otherwise unprepared and failed to dry out the cache as we stumbled across this cache today. Just about managed to make a faint sign of the log with initials. Combined geobubs love of playgrounds and my love of geocaching a win-win today. TFTC # 238
TFTC.......visiting from Sask. Canada and loving caching in New Zealand with its friendly people and great scenery. Today travelling from Dunedin to Christchurch.
Sad to hear Big Smoke has passed, albeit peacefully.
Beautiful spot to contemplate the network of people I have met through geocaching.

A quick grab on the way south. I'm impressed it hasn't been muggled yet! Cheers
Not too many people around today so we had no problem finding, signing & replacing. Cache all good. Loved little Palmerston. TFTC
What a random spot!! The kids obviously know about it. Thanks for bringing us here Big smoke
I'm surprised that the cache survives in this sort of environment. Maybe the local kids have been well trained. Quick find.
I was I bit confused for a minute wondering where it could possibly be. Then I noticed something a bit odd 'over there'. Thanks
Down in Oamaru for the Geofest. Decided that we would have some extra days here and this had to be the finest of days while we were here. While heading for home had to stop for a drink and so while one of us bought the drink the other went caching. Almost did not find it.
With the Oamaru Geofest 2017 over, it was time to make my way back to Dunedin for a few more days before flying home to Brisbane.
Still had time to find a few more caches today.
Stopped here for a short break and to find this cache.
Unfortunately couldn't locate this one today. Didn't want to look too hard to draw attention to myself. Maybe next time.

Thanks for replacing Big Smoke - stopped in the dark on our way home from the Oamaru Geofest. Third time lucky!
Quick find where all good at GZ. Thanks for another smilie
Hoping to see you at the [Oamaru Geofest](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6M2V0_oamaru-geofest-2017) during Labour Weekend 21-22 October 2017. Let’s all help this a successful event!

Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn’t be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn’t take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.

I drove up from Dunedin to to Oamaru today on my way to attend the weekend's Geofest Event. I ventured off the main highway a number of times to explore the country byways. There was of course the odd cache to find along the way as well. All in all a very pleasant trip with some interesting places and great views along the way. Cheers and TFTC

No-one in the playground as we passed so this time we could actually go inside and search - unsuccessfully, sad to say. A good deal of scuffing about was done so ...?
Stopped here on our way home after visiting the Moeraki Boulders. Have passed numerous times before but there have always been muggles playing in the park so tonight we made the most of an empty playground and even had a swing or two afterwards TFTC
Traveling from Dunedin to Hammer springs on tour to watch British Lions and pick up a few caches on the way, what great wee village and lots to see, tftc
Stopped here for a quick find although I was a bit surprised at where the cache is and that it has lasted here. No kids today, it was after 5pm. Signed log, TFTC
Today our cycletour of NZ takes us from Oamaru to Palmerston, and naturally we have to log a few caches along the way . Tftc!
Travelling around the South Island.
Looking at our wonderful home land.
Weather has been improving every day. Wonderful to travel.

Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
Today we decided on a multi-day tour, after stopping at Omarama today continues to Dunedin, scenic road we will stop on the lakes that meet
Dunedin is back in Chch, stopping to pick up some cache
Greetings from Italy

I have been planning this trip for a while now as I had some airpoints due to expire and wanted to go somewhere for Wellington Anniversary Weekend. So I've made it a 4 day weekend and come down from Palmerston North for a caching road trip. I have two goals for this weekend, to get to 2500 caches before 23 January as that is when I took up caching last year and to get caches on as many latitude minutes as possible that will hopefully qualify me for a challenge cache in the Manawatu. This is day 2 - Oamaru - Palmerston - Ashburton.
I haven't been to Oamaru and the surrounding area for five years and it doesn't look like it has changed much. Such a pretty town, full of history
Out and about early for a quick run to Palmerston. Decided to grab this cache whilst in the area. Quick find here and it's time for a coffee. Tftc

Heading south for a wee family holiday. Family caught a cheap early flight down to Dunedin this morning...and will spend the day exploring Dunedin attractions...whilst I drive down to meet them...and find a cache or two along the way!
A cool hide in plain sight. Nice one. Cheers.

Found with Granville86a on a lovely weekend for a caching trip to Palmerston. Thanks for your cache placement wasn't quite what we were expecting...
Found with MrandMrsChosen1978. Had previously tried to find this without success so pleased to log a find this time. Can't believe I missed the container this large before!!
Took a bit to get cell phone signal for this one and once I had a it in hand in no time. I had driven past this one about a hundred times and not been able to stop nd get it while I was work. So today was the day to sign the log. TFTC ? B&T
Glad there were no kids playing at the time. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b+p. Find # 3705. Thanks for the cache Big smoke
Quick fast cache with 5 year old. She loved playing at the park after we found it tftc
Heading to Dunedin for the marathon tomorrow so spent the whole day travelling there collecting some caches alone the way. TFTC
A day out in Palmerston for Hevic and I. Here was our first stop - we found the cache almost immediately and wondered if it's not where it's supposed to be, since it was very very exposed. Hid it more-or-less where we found it, with some covering from nearby. Might need a check to see if it's indeed in the right spot. Cheers!
On a trip south to head to the Higlanders Game on Saturday and collect some caches on the way. Was expecting something less obvious and was about to give up when I thought surely it's not that but it was! Thanks for the cache.
Nice there were no little muggles around today. I was rather surprised but happy to get this smiley. Not comfortable snooping in playgrounds. TFTC
Was heading down south with Popmac for a family gathering so it was an easy decision to get some caches on the way. No problems locating this cache. Thanks for the cache.
Our 10th find in Palmerston and a good spot for some lunch. Picked up a tb from the cache
quick stop for a bite to eat so crossed the road. TFTC - one of the TBs. Found Toy box a couple of years ago in the area.
Some time ago I found a cache some ten meters from the spot, an easy find no little ones around today, TFTC
Serious cache creep happening here No wonder everyones co-ords were out Back where its meant to be
