This area has changed a lot since the cache was first placed in 2014, and now it's really not a pleasant location to find a cache, so I'm archiving this to free up the area in case there are more interesting locations nearby for cache placement.
Mmmm…did you lead us here for the decomposing mattress or the junk under the bush? Sorry mate, but I’m not seeing the point of this location.
Needed a find for the calendar and this one was on my way to lunch.
A lot of things at GZ that match the hint but I eventually found my way to the right one after disturbing a rat.

This one had me going around in circles for a while and whilst I was keeping an eye out for any joe blakes the wretched farmers friends and spiders webs got me. TFTC Rheneas.
Just catching up on some logs from the past month. Found with Meritonnn - nice easy straightforward find here. TFTC!
Parking on Zep Avenue, it was a fairly straightforward 60m walk through the reserve, just the last 5m or so were a little unruly. However good co-ords and hint meant a quick find once at GZ. Tftc!

Roaming around Kellyville Ridge for a few geocaches. The playground was deserted so I could cross it and disappear in the bushes without being suspicious. Once down it was a good find.

Just did the park run at the ponds and now some caching in the area and slowly make my way towards Liverpool. Once there it's back on the water!
For now here it was a quick and straight forward find.

Found with Kelvin while waiting for the kids to finish playing. We’re talking about someone who found a gold nugget and got me thinking “I wonder if there’s a geocache here” and yep!
Saw a fox near GZ. Got covered in weed seeds.

Was hoping for a quick find here but it wasn’t to be. Parked on the wrong side of the park (i.e. take note of the suggested parking spot) and then dug around but couldn’t find the correct thing that the hint alluded to.
We did park near the playground which was being well used and found an easy way through to GZ over a very low part of the wire fence. After a wander through some heavy shrubbery I saw where the cache might be and soon had it logged. The temporary replacement log is just about full but in reasonable condition. Then it was back to the car and 40 minutes of removing the "farmer's friends", hundreds all over my new jacket, jeans and socks. At least they came off fairly easily without marking the clothes! Thanks Rheneas for a good hide in a quiet but bushy area.
Finding involved pushing through shrubbery and those spiky burrs that stick to your clothing, though hint helps. My phone indicated I was still 7m away at GZ. Tftc - luckily I am an experienced Bushwalker!
Have to add that it has taken me longer to pull all those pesky burrs off the inside and outside of my shirt, my long pants and my hair than it did locating the cache! Not for the faint- hearted!
After a good look around we didn’t find the cache this time. too many weeds and too many places to look.
Out in the area with Bluewattle and picking up a few caches before heading to the shops. Certainly over grown here but geo buddy found it after a through search.

Sometimes previous logs give a clue to camo or a hide but here, it was more about taking precautions to avoid swooping birds. Quick find once I got to GZ unscathed.
#614 - GPS had us looking about 10m in the wrong direction but found the right hidey hole in the end. TFTC
Had a bit of a nap on a nearby mattress not too long cause being the Mediterranean I didn't know the ocean well enough to judge the tide. CIH.
Quite a few possible hiding spots but eventually found the right one. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Quick find after work today. Nice to see dense area of trees in dense residential area. TFTC
I left the geomobile in Zep Place and followed the directions in the cache information. I had a lot of trouble getting any satellite reception for the GPS here so resorted to the hint to help and began slowly walking through the bushland until it came alive. Should have looked at google maps as that would have halved my search area. I soon spotted something completely unnatural so went over to investigate. It didn't contain the cache but from there I could see a likely hiding spot which revealed a nicely hidden cache.
Signed the log and visited some TBs, of course the GPS then came alive.

Needing the exercise I walked in from Walunga, which was a good approach. Spotted something odd near GZ which soon had CIH.Thanks for the cache.
Left out in open so placed natural camo on it. Tucked away a bit better too. Muggles in a bug out camp left for us to find and sign
Found the cache out in the open so I placed it back in its hiding place. thanks for placing this cache Rheneas

#1431 parked nearby with a short walk to GZ spotted the log now which end, but as I got closer spotted the cache straight away. Ok that end found a way over to it and cache in hand
Signed the log (thanks to trodectus) and replaced as found (added a bit of cover). Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache

Found with Coybear2000. We parked at the suggested spot and walked through the weeds, hopefully avoiding any sticky seeds. Once at GZ we started our search and soon spotted the hide. There was no log, but luckily we had a scrap of paper which we signed and left. TFTC.
Out with Trodectus. parked as suggested and walked towards GZ, once there CIH after short search. T supplied paper foe log as there was none. TFTC
Finally found the cache but it was open and covered in soil, no log paper in it. Everlasting cleaned it up & put it back where she found it. Sorry we didn't have any spare paper to replace it... Thanks for leading us here.
Try use south 507 and east 017.
Finally found it after read the comment.
The cache didn't have log sheet - i didnt have spare with me. sorry.
Thanks for organising the cache and hunt.

My approach through the bush was a bit of an odyssey and initially I gardened at the wrong GZ. A check of the signal had me move to another place where I saw the tree trimmings which I cleared to see camo. I removed this and still couldn't see the cache until a squint revealed it deep in the shadow.

No luck for us today. It was overgrown grasses and weeds which it was a difficult to get to the GZ with plenty of the rabbit holes everywhere which I had to watch out myself cos I had my bilateral hips replacement recently so one day I will come back here with clearly grasses and weeds eh! [:-(]
Nice one. Took a little time as some clippings from nearby trees have been stockpiled in an inconvenient place. Dropped off a MINION TB - road trip 2015 tag - Earth.
An easy find and the fence to cross is now bridged by a fallen tree making for an easy crossing.
On the seek with Team Webguy following the 8th Annual Hills Geo event. This old 'mushroom is always wary of kiddie playgrounds, moreso when in use by said kiddies. As was the case ... an approach further afield proved to be straightforward, without angst, and delivered the cache in hand. TFTC Rheneas
Our fifth and final find for today, and our 400th cache! It's been 8.5 years in the making, but we finally made it to 400 finds. It was a fairly quick find near a park that the boys love. Unfortunately their favourite piece of playground equipment was fenced off, but they (and us) had fun on the flying fox. Our new goal - 450 finds by our 9-year cacheversary in May. TNLNSL TFTC
P.S. Just noticed that all the caches we found today were placed by Rheneas - don't think we've ever had a day where all our finds have been placed by the one CO.

I had fun walking through the bush to get to this cache. We played on the flying fox after we found it.

I was in the area cleaning out some 10km radius caches and since this was nearby I drove over. I walked into the bush and towards GZ. Then the search started. I could see the cacher tracks, but nothing made sense with the hint. After around 10min, I re read some logs, and moved my search. Sure enough, found the cache where the hint said, but 7m South, as others had mentioned. I SL and took the coin to move on. No snakes today on the warmish day. TFTC.
Found 10m south of posted co-ords today.
Dropped off 2 TB's to continue their journey.

My third find for the morning. A walk across the park and realisation it was on the other side of the fence. I am here now wonder if I can get around? A short way along found a way and worked back towards GZ. A quick find made, signed log and replaced. tftc
No luck for me this morning. No one about as they were all sleeping in after daylight saving time change but hint didn't help me either. I'll be back ....
My dnf was frustrating me so after Nightmare on Elmstree I re read the description and logs and approached from a different angle. The weeds are so overgrown but I stomped around following catchers trails. Neatly gave up but widened search a bit and found it quite easily in the end. Thanks for the fun on an early Sunday morning. Now to go home and pick off all the sticky bits!
Bit of a bush walk and gps is off so broadened our search and then found it. Tftc
Finding the way around the last few metres was the tricky part. Nature is putting up defences.
Thanks again Rheneas.
Thanks again Rheneas.
3160- This one had me going fore quite a while. The GPS didn't want to settle and so it was a case of- which one? I wondered around for a while and then spotted it. Thanks

Very muddy today! After working out the best way to get to GZ through all the weeds, it wasn't long until we had the cache in hand. TFTC!
After caching elsewhere in The Ponds during the morning, I grabbed a quick lunch at the new shopping centre then drove to Zep Place to attempt this one. GZ was like a swamp so I was glad I wore my boots today. At the moment, it's not the most pleasant of places but I was happy for the smilie. Thanks Rheneas.
Being in the area we detoured over to see what the T rating was like. We came in from the east or playground side and found a gap in the fence. We saw a wild rabbit hopping about near GZ and had to avoid a few spots or get wet feet. We found the hide a little away from where our GPSr said it should be but just followed the hint. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

It was cool and drizzly. Quite a few spider webs, some nettles and other spiky plants. I felt SO far from the Medditerranean! Good hide though. TCTC.
A local cache I hadn't visited for some reason, maybe because I'm usually on the other side of the fence? Yes quite overgrown so not a real enjoyable find but easy enough all the same. TFTC.
After a string of DNFs I decided to do a cache check. While the cache is still in place and in reasonable condition, I was quite surprised to see how overgrown the area has become in the 6 months since the cache was placed (as noted in a recent DNF entry). The terrain rating has been adjusted and some further instructions on best way to reach GZ have been added to the cache description.
At first I thought I approached this one from the wrong park, but I found a way to gz.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Quick find despite the added camouflage from recent tree clearing around GZ cache still good TFTC
I parked at the suggested waypoint and looked towards GZ, this doesn't look anything like the description of the cache describes. My GPS had me walk in a large circle to GZ, as I was walking through the scrub there were so many possibilities as per the hint. It was a bit eerie even at 5pm as trees were creaking all around me. Eventually got to GZ and coords were spot on, my GPS certainly took me on the extended scenic route. SL #1647 on streak day #837 TFTC I took the much shorter and direct route back to my car.
Did a cache check and found the container lying out on the ground in plain sight again. Please make sure you replace the cache and camouflage as found. Thanks!
CJMONKEY610 : wow.. Unexpected cache save. Put the cache back into what i think is the most obvious place it should have been. Cache owner may want to review just in case. JMONKEY106 : saw this cache lying in the open, still intact.
