Great find! Took us a long time, but that just made it more exciting when we finally found it!
What a beautiful old building. Thank you for bringing us here. Found after a short search with Cobby. tyftc SL
Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Moving today to Binnaway we stopped for lunch at Gunnedah, so unhitched our van and bimbled about in the GeoCruiser checking out all the local history.
Pretty fancy some of it and some awesome views too.

Nice spot, found on my return from the Queensland MEGA.
Many thanks for the placement.

Loved this old Railway Station and was even more chuffed when we realized the Station was still a working station. Found the cache then watched a train shunting back and forth for a while. It was funny to watch a grown man play trains and get paid to do it. That Train Driver is one lucky man. What a great place. Thanks for bringing us here.
very cool and took us a little while as we had got so many easy caches along the way took a while for our cache sense to recalibrate. very happy so put a fav point on it. tftcsl
A great days caching on a road trip toward Oz Mega 2015 with Team Crackers and The Coffees. Many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
Many thanks gunnedah galah for placing this cache .

Catching up with some very late logs.
We were on our way to the QLD Mega with micaparamedic and The Coffee's picking up some of the closer caches as we went.
This was day two.
We found a variety of cache hides, some easy, some took a bit of searching. Unfortunately somewhere along the way we have misplaced our paperwork and with over 400 cache finds in two weeks we can't remember them all individually so we apologise for this generic log but we do thank each and every cache hider for their efforts.

Arrived at GZ and Mr TiedyeSmileys thought hmmmm, it is probably in that one. Then, for some reason, ignored his instincts and checked every other one first before finally checking his original guess last and sure enough, there was the cache.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
Day two saw us caching all day while we drove from Dubbo to Tamworth. Today was a great day seeing people voting and finding lots of caches. I was concerned we might find a train, but happily just a station. Thanks.

Found with Albida33 on the way to the Stanthorpe Mega......so please excuse the generic log.
The cache was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.
Thanks for the cache and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....

Oh I do loves a working railway station with a bit of history [:X]
So I took the stroll along the platform first
Passenger trains still drop by !! [^]
A lot of coal and wheat trains pass by too !!
Fortunately when I dropped by, nothing was happening [^]
So while the nearby surveillance camera kept its beady little eye on me, I searched for the cache
The points levers are a nice little throwback to the olde days [^]
They kept me distracted from finding the cache for a few minutes
Looks like GZ is a popular spot for the 'workers' to take a ciggie break too.
A brand new, shiny, galvanized bucket sits patiently near GZ waiting for the rancid ciggie butts [xx(]
The cache eventually showed itself after a poke around
TFTC, I'm chuffed at finding this sneaky hide [^]

On New Years' Eve we left our camper trailer at Warrumbungle National Park, and went for a caching trip to Narrabri, Gunnedah and Coonabarabran.
parked at the railway station, but a bus parked behind bus so we did a re-park. cache was then found just out of sight for the workers in the bus.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 4, Dubbo to Gunnedah.
Today, I was up at six thirty to take the GeoSchnauzers for a walk or two in the "cool" of the morning, down by the Macquarie River. Nice. I also did a cache on each side of the river while we were there. Then we had breakfast, and, the temperature being 35 degrees already, I decided that today will be a park and drive day, mostly.
No 11 of 15 today. Thanks, gunnedah galah. 21/11/2014 4:40:00 PM

With our friends out walking in the Warrumbungles, Juno and I had some time to kill (NPWS don't like dogs in their Parks). So we decided to head over to visit Gunnedah, a place that I had never been.
Pleasingly quick find in the growling heat. My GZ was out by about 5m, but I got there without too much bother.
Cheers

Found at night with Justjessie, we were staying in town and went for a n evening walk. TFTC
Found at 3:51 PM GAFF1. We went through Gunnedah about 3 weeks ago and finished all of the caches that were there and then this one pops up to entice us back We were thinking of heading to Maitland from The Black Stump (Coolah) and then going up the Pacific Hwy to get home, but decided to retrace our steps by going via Gunnedah and Tamworth instead.
A nice well constructed hide and a lovely looking station that is for sure.
This was our 14,000th cache find and thankfully after all of those finds over the years, we were able to go straight to the cache hiding spot and pull it out. However I will bet you anything you like that the next cache will take 30 minutes and we will be going around in circles
Thanks gunnedah galah.

Another interesting historical write-up and a sneaky little hide. Well done Gunnedah Galah, lookin forward to the next one!
