Area looks ready to go soon - we will endeavour to get something back here soon
Currently unavailable and likely we will need to relocate hide slightly once area has settled down
Attempt 2!
After an unsuccessful attempt a few days back (I tried a few levels to no success), swung past today as my girlfriend needed to go to the shops.
Noticed a section I hadn’t seen before… bingo, it’s got to be here somewhere.
Walked around many times following the hint suggestion, but wasn’t able to spot anything for a good 20 minutes, and I didn’t want to stick around longer than required to prevent raising suspicion on why I was loitering around for no good reason (not to mention I couldnt keep the girlfriend waiting much longer).
An idea struck me in regards to searching this from another possible angle - jackpot, there it was. Made sure no one was watching, made the grab, SL, returned to where it was found.
Tftc, another difficult hide around this shopping complex.

Fun, fun fun! Caching with friends today and we thought we knew where we had to be but getting there was another matter. At one stage we found ourselves almost locked into a stair well but found the (very smelly) exit at street level. So we started again and this time we managed to find our way onto the correct level and out towards GZ. But where? The hints and photos that we had access to, started to narrow it down. Then another taller friend arrived and lo and behold she reached up and presented us with the cache. A sneaky one indeed Stormcatchers. TFTC SL
Found with a group after a morning walk. Cool to make this find while we the city is still quiet.
Thanks for hiding this cache STORMCATCHERS

What a little challenge for this one. Needed help for those of us that are vertically challenged. Found with Joolay, Kittykatch and Smittengranny. Tftc
I don’t get into civic very often so today’s trip to the mall had it include a return trip to the GZ to avenge my previous DNF. This time the container was spotted quite quickly but it took a bit of teamwork to get the cache in hand. I then realised that I had forgotten to bring a pen! Photo proof sent to the CO. TFTH
Arrived in town tonight for work. Having exchanged a few messages with Codawives and seen the DNFs....I got curious... as I was the last finder... was it still there?
I can assure the CO and others it is where I left it and where I found it last year. I even signed the log again. Happy hunting. KV

No luck for me today. I *think* I was in the right spot but just couldn't find the cache.
Spent some time searching in the heat. But too hot and dirty and I was getting cranky so I quit. In retrospect I think I know where it is now so I will have to return to see if I'm right.
TFTC from the Kayakviking.
Doing a bit of a run around town picking up some odd caches on my latest trip to Canberra.
Having reviewed the logs, I did a considered check of all the possible spots and then settled on the most likely for a good scan. Funnily the fading light actually helped me spot the little blighter as I had been passed that spot earlier.
Not sure what type of container I was looking for but not quite what I had expected given the write up. No matter - a very clean, fresh and tidy log book to which I added my scrawl !
All good - cheers

Cache had crept, but was still in play. Since the lid was cracked it has been replaced, hide has changed slightly.
Please be stealthy as always.

Still looking to replace this one with a suitable new container, hopefully in the next week or two
Stopped past and the cache was not in its hiding spot. Will come back to see if cache creep was a factor and replace if necessary.
Found with Nibletricecakes on her daily streak. She has found it previously, so may have given one or two clues. TFTC.
A brilliant challenge for a Sunday morning. Began on the ground and realised where we needed to start. A thorough search had us with a find quite quickly. TFTC
Not found after a pretty epic search, awesome spot although I did find something it turns out it wasnt the cache. Next time Im up I will try in the daylight. Thanks for bringing me out here on a cold Canberra night while up here for work.
An epic hunt on many levels with K8tybee whilst we waited for our dumpling delights. finally found the right level and the secret entrance to make the simple find. A clever spot. Now we get some dumplings reward. Thanks for the cache!
Hard one to find when your brain does not function. Thankful for NRC being here to navigate. TFTC
Found with the geokid once we got to the right spot. Thanks STORMCATCHERS, we had a great perspective of the city at night.
This could have taken a long time. Lucky for us tonight our detective skills were on point! Tftc
This could have taken along time but process of elimnation was on our side tonight. Very sneaky TFTC
Out for an evening of caching. It was a last minute descision to find this cache. If we had taken the time to read the description before attempting it then it would have been much easier for us to find. Think we made this a difficulty 5 rating by not doing the reading - lol. TFTC STORMCATCHERS.
One night in Canberra so I wandered over here for a couple of caches. This one had me stumped for a little while then I decided to check each level until I found something that fitted the description. It was in the last place i looked. Mainly because then I didnt need to look any more. Thanks.
Dino and I came for this one as we were close by finding the right level was a bit a a challenge as I expected a different level first but we got there in the end.
Thank you STORMCATCHERS for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Nice cache. Just come from the cinema so we quickly did it on the way. Took a few minutes to find but the heat kept fred and me going.

So many possible hiding places.
Because of the reference to Melbourne, my home town, I couldn't give up.
And I found it quite a distance away from where the GPS in my phone said it should be.

The photos made this a very quick deviation from christmas shopping for 12fieldtrip & I. TFTC!
During our stay in Canberra we visited the Parlament.
We looked for the Cache after our visit at the beautiful Parlament.

A great little spot, found it quicker than expected! Lid could do with replacing. TFTC
Well that led me a merry chase on a cold, blustery morning. Im in town to look at the cartier collection but couldnt resist a few caches after breakfast. I started looking in the wrong spot but moved on vertically before ending back in the same area. A more successful look was had and spotted what i wanted in seconds this time round. Fav point for the fun i had looking. Tftc
While waiting for jinxed13 to finish rehearsal for her street hip hop performance, I decided to finally give this one a proper crack. I'd previously tried many times without success, and each time I had to conduct more and more research on how to approach GZ. This time, all my calculations were correct and after a bit of trek (of a different kind), I was at the right location. The cache was found a few minutes later. A very clever location for a hide, which made for a great field puzzle, of sorts. TFTC SC!
Found with LittleSparr0w a few weeks ago and returned with a pen to sign. This was an epic search the first time around. TFTC
Lucky I was with BurgAndSons, could never reach this on my own! Quite a difficult find, clever spot.
Yay, my first ACT cache after arriving from WA for a week. Enjoyed the hunt in wet weather which makes the name even more appropriate.
Tricky little urban cache! Found with aramil before a night eating out at Braddon with friends.
First find in the ACT! I managed to wrangle a ride with some international muggle friends interested in treasure hunting down to our nations capital. Finally tracked it down after trying every other available level. Thanks for putting a cache here for us to discover.
What a multitiered maze!
Nice views, good little cache. Container a little cracked. If I was any shorter log wouldn't have got signed. TFTC!

Saw the cache (which looked well secured and wedged) but my short stature meant there was no way I would be able to reach it and sign the log.
Took the geo-son to cockington green for the morning and he absolutely loved it (hes just turned 3). After that a few caches then a milkshake in the city then a few more caches then off to the war memorial for dad to see the new special forces exhibition then off home. Great day and a good handful of caches.
Thanks STORMCATCHERS

Fairly straightforward once I read the description.

Great find, hidden in plain sight....looked exactly like part of surrounds
In Canberra for one of the lead-up events to this years Victorian Mega, our third and hopefully annual Mega. Also very much enjoying a little caching around town, what a great variety of geocaches, loving it...
Sorry but there's not enough tea in China to get me to look on all these floors, actually I don't have near enough time before the event, maybe next trip.
**Thanks for placing this cache STORMCATCHERS**

Found on a lunch time break with Lpud. Nice hide but the container top has started to split. For a secluded spot it was still extremely noisy when we got to GZ. TFTC
Woohoo !!! Found it !!!
In Canberra for a function at the Australian War Memorial with my Grandfather.
Had to get out for some caching

Now this was a fund cache. I was with a muggle who had never done a cache before and when I told him where we needed to go, he looked at me crazily.. After a few attempts to get the correct hight we found the cache easily and then realised we didn't have a pen and there wasn't one in the log book. Took a photo to prove we found the cache... Great fun this one.. Deserves a favourite.
Excellent cache location. Great view. We were stumped originally by the council works but after a read of the logs we set our sights a little higher. TFTC from travellers from Adelaide out caching after a couple of beers and tacos!
A fun urban adventure! Took a while to get to the right level - had I gone with my initial idea I would have gone straight to the right place... There was really only one option and a check of earlier photos confirmed it.
Once in place I conducted an exemplary systematic search - in the wrong spot it seems. After a short head clearing walk I returned and found it straight away - FTF the replacement log! It is only now, sitting in Garema Place writing this, that I remembered the hint, which would have saved some time... TFTC

Found this morning whilst the missus went shopping in Civic. Nice quiet balcony. Had to sign on the side of the log. TFTC.
Log sheet is full and needs replacing. I had nothing suitable with me.
Spent ages trying to find the right floor but we got there in the end thanks to previous logs (colours helped). TFTC
While in town for business I had to find also some caches. Even if I had an idea where to search it took a while to get to it. Rgds from Germany and TFTC
Great little cache, past logs helped a lot. Very please to get this cache to begin my three weeks of holiday by starting on the right. Tftc!
Thursday 2 March 2017 - So close yet so far away. Just 9 metres from the cache there are barricades up for new works on the roof top. Not sure how long these will be up for but please keep us posted when we can access this location again. Love the views. Thx
After I shifted work to the city a couple of weeks ago I've been taking advantage of the new scenery (and weather) to do a bit of caching. After a couple of false starts on other nearbys, I managed to catch this one without too much drama. This is probably my favourite kind of cache - surrounded by people, you can search up and down (and up) without drawing any real attention to yourself. Thanks for taking the time to place it!
Wow what a fun cache. It was certainly in a nice nook. You just have to find the nook. The past photos helped with this. TFTC
Finally found this one after no luck after previous attempts. Felt uncomfortable with the building across the road but very happy to mark this one off the list.
After a recent similar cache that had us feeling not so happy, was pleased that this proved to be very opposite. A bit of a search still but dty73 made the find in a likely location although a little tricky to get to, got it! Thanks for the cache stormcatchers.
Thanks to previous logs we were confident where to find this one. We got the level right first go and my gps worked well enough to get us close. A quick search and we soon had cih. Tftc Stormcatchers!!!
Happy Australia day. This cache was fun, in many ways. Down at Street level we soon realised we might have to go into the centre and go all the way up to the roof. Then it was down until we found the correct level, and soon had the cache in hand. Voted. Going down we decided to enter stairway but once that door closed behind us it was locked and with most of the other doors locked, panic set in, but eventually we found a door which opened. Lucky. Tftc.
I'd had my eye on finding this one for nearly a year, but I needed a visit when I wasn't in a hurry and didn't have my long suffering squib husband with me (figured that's a good term for someone who knows caching but doesn't play?) Finally, such a chance occurred today. If only I could have used the emergency stairs rather than the slow elevator! TFTC and the hunt - it was awesome!!
Found while shopping for dinner nearby. Had trouble with elevation, but once on the right level all was good and CIH. TFTC close to shops STORMCACHERS
I noted the CO's warning about the gps suffering interference from the surrounding buildings, but I thought I'd try for a signal at ground level anyway - and it was remarkably close! Even so, the altitude of gz was a mystery. Standing back, I studied the building for a while and came to an idea of the caches possible location. Once I reached this location I searched for several minutes before making the find. Very discrete!
While the immediate area was muggle free and I was unobserved, there were hoardes of people passing by not far away and completely oblivious! I always enjoy that about caching!
Thanks, Stormcatchers!

I thought early Sunday morning would be a good muggle free time to have another look for this one. I revisited the usual spots a quite a wide radius looking for possible hides without any luck. Defeated, but not yet willing to give up, I just stood and pondered for a while looking around then the penny dropped .... I'm giving this a favourite point as it *isn't* and it *is* a quick park and grab. TFTC

No pen! Nearly gave up on this one, but teamwork helped us prevail. Really needed some fresh air...
