Another newer cache on my radar for today and I checked out the GPS and decided that the approach route that it was proposing possibly wasn't the best route and so I took a longer detour and discovered the new estate tucked away in the middle of no where.

I checked around and then read the description and hint a bit more carefully and that narrowed down the search and it didn't take long to nab the cache.

Luckily there were no visitors to the display homes over the road and I sat down to sign the log and enjoy the view. This type of construction seems to be common around this area.

TFTC.

28/11/14 I was about to head home after a successful morning caching when I realised with 'just one more' I could round my numbers off. So this was the next closest and on my way home. I have been super lucky today with the weather holding out for me and i think the possibility of rain has kept muggles away from here. Woohoo! I followed the directions and took a seat to look around and soon the cache was in hand. Log signed and now time to go home. TFTC

Mr LHE Duo and myself had visited this one before but too many people in their front yards to do more than admire the view. Therefore when we were heading home with OrionJ along decided to give it another chance. When we saw so many cars parked there we thought we were out of luck but think most might have belong to the local houses. There was one family of muggles but they soon moved on. Then it was OrionJ who spotted what we were looking for. Once I retrieved a pen from Mr LHE Duo our names were soon on the log. TFTC

I was out and about this afternoon with LHE Duo for something of a little drive around and this spot was not far off the way home so we figure why not make the stop and take a look.

First problem was trying to find parking, all parked out, but myself and Mrs LHE Duo got out and wandered over to the are area, while Mr LHE Duo went to find a parking spot.

A little wander and it is quite a nice view from here across to the lake in the distance, would be nice I imagine after rain if there was a bit more water. Anyway we admired the scene for a little waiting for some muggles to drive off.

With the muggles gone I spotted something that might need a little bit more investigation, and turns out it was the cache. So get it out and find the spot on the log, and uh, no pen.... Mr LHE Duo soon arrived with one from the car and got our names added into the log.

Few things came together tonight. My calendar had an empty spot to be filled, daughter needed a lift to the gym and I had some grocery shopping to do, and some extra time on that run. So, decided to celar this lonely cache out of the way. Zoomed from Capalaba to here faster than light to secure some search time.

At the GZ, did a touchy-feely around the shelter at one level without result. Decided to take a higher-terrain approach to the next round to speed it up but nothing there either. However, spotted locations that might well host a little cache.
After returning back to the starting point, did some investigative moves and the container was revealed. Big Grin

Log signed, cache returned back, and it was time to zoom back to Capalaba for that food stuff and pick up daughter. TFTC, Thepurplester!

On the way out it was sufficiently dark for the outdoors lights to be on in some houses. In all the new properties they seemed to have white colour. The old incandescent lights tended to be yellowish in colour while the new fluoros and leds are mostly white. Folks, we are seeing a gradual transformation to how our lighting and colour schemes work and this is a good place to observe it. [^]
