Thanks for going to so much trouble to honour the dead at this special location. TFTC
I LOVE thes caches perfect size in perfect location. TfTC found with friedlemon and Jed74.
Quick easy find on a quiet Sunday afternoon. What a poignant location, such a sad and lonely place now. TFTC
Good find and well maintained. Very lovely logbook! Had a great day out walking around POINTNEPEAN. Thanks for the Cache and leading is here.
Down here on holiday, perfect time for some caching. Loved the design on the box
A short get-away for my body with Kploz always means there is time for a few caches. I have been down here before with a group of other caches many moons ago to put a few smilies on the tip of the Peninsula, but over time these have been archived for others to be placed. This is a fantastic size cache with plenty of room for swaps and trackables and it has been looked after by previous cachers to preserve the creativity of the cache inside.
After the dawn service on a miserable day weather wise, the kids and wife wanted a day at home, so I thought it would be fitting to head to this location on Anzac Day and learn about our history here. This was the first physical find after a few ALs. tftc
On a quick break with my Muggle Fisher Hubby. We have been exploring the Mornington Area. Then we will be on the ferry back across the Bay home to GeelongTFTC ??
Today, we went to Sorrento and the cap with the fort, where we also found this tradi. Nice big ammo box. Seldom these days.TFTC acheld
A beautiful day, so I set off down the peninsula to find a cache or two. A beautifully decorated nicely themed cache.A fav point heading your way. Thanks for bringing me here by placing this cache, BorisB&Natasha ~~
While staying down at Mt Eliza we decided to check out the quarantine station. Wonderful piece of history well preserved here. Great walk. Cache in excellent condition. )Picked up TB. Thanks for the cache Boris&Natasha
There are so many sad stories related to this little cemetery, the quarantine station nearby and the dangerous sea beyond... but such a beautiful location too! Very much enjoyed the AdLabs and traditional caches we found during our couple of hours in Point Nepean National Park. TFTC BorisB&Natasha!
Felt bad walking behind the cemetery but we found the cache after approximately 10 minutes of looking.
Had a lovely weekend away with a dear friend and made the most of the free time and sunny weather for a spot of sightseeing and cache finding. This has us on the wrong side of the fence to start with, after some correction, we were where we needed to be and the cache was easily spotted. Signed and returned with more camouflage. TFTC!
Found it , another quality cache. Only found a couple today, so we could come back to this awesome area. Tftc
Felt a little disrespectful when walking around but found the time to pay our respects. A cool cache container and fantastic decorating lol
Found by Jinky and Jem while holidaying on the other side of the bay. TNLN, SL. TFTC!
Visiting from NZ. Out exploring with family from Devon Meadows. Thanks for the cache.
The trees here absolutely go sleep the twists and turns that the limbs have did Mark with my GPS sister little bit but with a bit of persistence I just kept looking and then come up with the goods the hide is particular and the container is very well done the logbook is in fine form it's absolutely amazing to see name signed from back when it first got place thank you so much for the placement of this hide
TwoEms had the whole cemetery to ourselves. It was almost romantic except for the three hundred bodies buried underground. The Victorian silhouettes and the crashing sound of the waves transported us back, ever so briefly, to a connected moment of the past. What a beautiful place to say goodbye. What an honour to stand over unmarked graves and to kindle affection for people—like we will soon one day be—lost in time. Thank you for the cache.
A great themed cache!
A Favourite point for the creative effort and location steeped in history.
Point Nepean is one of our most favourite places.
We used to lead walks around here for our Buhwalking club.

Great cache! We had lunch at a winery and now walking around Pt Nepean and reading about the history. I’m introducing my friend Andre to geocaching. This is his first cache!! Cheers.
A quiet place with the distant sounds of waves along the shoreline. A few moments of reflection on the hardships of others. TFTC
Thinking I could drive to the point (a 7km walk return n not enough time because meeting the sis-in-law at Mt Eliza) Met up with a locked gate, so grabbed the closest which was a pretty cool find anyway! Tftc

We are staying in Rosebud for a few days, and decided to explore Point Nepean today. One of the junior members of iTEEM found this one. Impressive decoration on the inner container, and a very sturdy outer. All in good dry condition. Sobering to read some of the headstones in the cemetery, especially the children.

Made a quick impromptu find whilst picking up an injured bike rider- so no pen on me. Photo of the log page where our name should be.
Love the cover of this container. Nicely done. Favourite point from us.

TfTc. One of those ones Ive meant to do multiple times but keep forgetting. Good way to get a bit of motivation in to the whelpings on way back after walking out to the fort.
Rain has finally stopped so we can cycle to next caches and along Point Nepean track. TFTC
I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Traditional cache BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear

Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to BorisB&Natasha for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Found it, beautiful container but we forgot our pen so pic of the logbook will have to do
Today we found BTC - The Cemetery on our travels. We are on a weekend stay on the peninsula before Christmas crazies hit and decided on a walk after an indulgent lunch at the Sorrento Hotel. The Chief happens to be reading about the Ticonderoga at the moment so found the cemetery very interesting. Heartbreaking to get all the way from Liverpool and die within sight of your new life.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for being part of our geocaching fun.

It was my first time down at Point Nepean NP I think - I've been intending to head down here for a few years and finally got around to it. Really nice place for a wander.
Looked around the cemetery a bit, then headed over to the nicely hidden cache. Thanks for the cache.
